Name for this suddenly you know almost indescribable patriots offense there. I will be good. What goes -- ups. You know but I think what you know hey what do stroke of marketing brilliance -- genius you mean the patrons are always thought of to be you know in the forefront of a marketing endeavors right. So wanna bring that up when I just steal a great idea when you see one you know nothing I'm I'm not cheating here would give them full credit. John Tomas in the Boston -- brought the selection in the suggestion up today and I'm thinking all right let's take the ball and run so to speak he can't get off. Now we're run and was it. So what we want you to do today web radio -- patriots dot com web radio -- patriots dot com or if you. So Jews but of the phone call 585437482 again 585437482. -- come up with some sort of a marketing slogan for the patriots offense. I mean at the rate they're going they're averaging you know 419 yards a game on offense -- scored 38 points a game. You've got Randy moss and wide out the year Tom Brady quarterback. He got Laurence Maroney at running back you Benjamin Watson at tied any Wes Welker he would Donte' Stallworth. He got Sammy Morris who I think is going to end up proving to be one of them the steals of the -- of the free agent off season you know offensive line that you know. Is continued to improve. Let's face it there a lot of weapons on this team a lot of weapons. And whichever one we kind of -- what I'd like do I -- the gold today would be to get don't. Maybe five or six really good suggestions that we get five or six good once. And then what we'll do tomorrow on tomorrow's program -- will you vote. That we could do the nominating process today. Analyst of the nominating process for the patriots offense a a marketing name a nickname moniker something we can refer to lovingly. -- has the patriots offense. There will vote on tomorrow show all passer not a Fred personally that soccer credit and let's see if that you know on POW and then assume we can't get to catch him. And then you can say hey. Look what I did. Look what ice doubted I static is Margaret -- added it's my name so why not give it ago. Web radio at patriots dot com not the one that I obviously the one that that was mentioned. That I thought was too obvious was pretty much that imminent element a sort of play on the old those sitcom which is an outstanding name. Life certainly is all encompassing if focuses squarely on the quarterback which probably should be done like that but I almost think it's too easy. However -- you know several of you say you know Brady Bunch is -- gotta be it has its catchy it's to deploy any idea what that we might throw it in there. But I -- in there to see but I just it's not a regional I'm really looking for something or regional today. Something original. That can't be that -- another some creative minds you your first of all you're listening to this program your fan. And I know you've thought about. Stuff like it is because I've thought about stuff like this you know how we come up with some."

Play from 4:23[4:23]" You know I I you know I've got a couple of ideas in the in the back of my head quite frankly I'm not going to waste him here. Because you may come up with. Now we don't get anything with the -- might throw in one or two of my own ideas and let's see if they flow in if you like it then that's great. And then now Lowe will take we'll take a vote on tomorrow's program what would try to come up with five or six good solid suggestions here. And then down will -- will allow you to vote on this tomorrow. Seeing your email choices and more call in whichever you prefer. And then else in the note off to mister -- and Steve we can't get a little load and get a little problem play enough PFW and who knows maybe the patriots alone you know maybe he'll catch on. Special bit clever enough. It works why not. It makes the team -- the team attention you get the idea I'm -- WR in marketing and sales come on let's go. Couple of news items that Brian Lowe was Tonya -- program if you missed it and I were kind of room -- about that I didn't get to a couple of and I and I wanted to kind of throw them out four -- thoughts on topic of conversation maybe a couple of slow him. Comments on one way or the other I know that they have been talked about at least a little bit this point in time but I think it it bears repeating because of the significance overall. On what's happened. News wise around the league with them you know the whole video -- story that that is encompassed in ensconced the patriots over the course of the last week and days first and foremost had to do with the fact that them and I know that this has been discussed somewhat but. Affected Brian billick of the Baltimore ravens over the weekend accused the jets of using what he termed any legal ploy and that is his word illegal. In a legal ploy to -- all. Baltimore off side during -- can't."

Play from 7:52[7:52]" Billick said the jets defense shouted out signals to intentionally throw off their office. Now this is not the first time. That we've heard someone complain this back I even think the patriots are probably means been guilty of -- at some point where. You know guys from the line of scrimmage and they mimic the quarterbacks call by shouting out of instruction on the all the -- of linemen are waiting for a signal. From somebody and if someone mimicking a cadence or count. Can cause them to jump. Could cause them to change their blocking pattern what have you and it's you know is it illegal. I don't know if it's illegal. To the point that if we -- you know I mean I guess I suppose that you could get a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct. But I think it's just sort of thought of more of a there -- non sporting thing to do a non cool thing to do if you will those be the -- of the rule books and little bit -- and I might be able to speak to that directly. But I don't believe that that is -- you illegality. On like -- that I do think you can get area. In -- five yard or a penalty of some sort maybe unfortunately common or something along those lines for doing that if you get caught doing it but you know quite frankly I wouldn't know if if someone's yelling something it's kind of hard sometimes tell who's on what. Anyway billick said that the jets he thought that really good job -- I credit the New York -- the defensive line linebackers did a very very effective job at the illegally simulating the snap count. He -- they did at the whole game long it needs to be caught. Well they were -- of the whole game long. And it is truly illegal than -- held in the officiating crew thought flag."

Play from 9:41[9:41]" Apparently Adam Terry on their offensive line jump off sides couple times. -- new scheme jump offside in the first quarter billick says it's not an excuse but it is illegal our guys have to deal with -- I don't know how to help my lineman -- because you're in the heat of battle. And your calling the snap count of the guy across from you is also calling a snap count which is illegal. Okay well I'll believe Brian billick. But an obviously you know while I was in the with the jets do this."

Play from 10:16[10:16]" And if they hadn't done it before. And maybe they have done it before other teams expected or maybe just maybe. You know they decided that this is -- that they you know could throw when they're for a change it to because of a definitive cadence -- pattern in calling signals -- in you know by the Baltimore offense. I don't know I I just I guess my my entire reason I'm bringing this up is that you know -- I'm I'm a firm believer of where there's smoke there's fire."

Play from 10:48[10:48]" And it just so happens that this is coming from the jets. And I totally agree with Fred Kirsch in -- the story of -- when Fred in the last on the -- was about how he you know believes it was the jets that -- that videotaped jay Glazer I have no doubt in my mind that that is true. I have no doubt in my mind. -- you know the that the jets look at themselves in the mirror when they look at you know the patriots in particular."

Play from 11:12[11:12]" It you know if it's illegal well okay then you're probably -- but if it is. An attempt to gain an edge -- psychologically or otherwise on your opponent -- you know the patriots leave no stones unturned. And there's not a team out there. That's going to play it straight to the vest you know and he you know argued go to Hoosier to them let's not fair -- let's not be jumping down -- broke the -- noncallable legal cadence. You know. Bowl -- muffins. All's fair in love in football that's just the way it is that's the nature of the sport it's highly combat of its physical it's emotional. And you know the whole you know he -- Jean -- try and think if there's a sports that that. So called cliche belongs in is probably football and again guys and ladies on call quoted as -- see. I've been around football my entire life. I sort of played football when I was seven years old."

Play from 12:15[12:15]" I grew up in applicable state and Texas. Now so I've been around it you know good solid 40 plus years now. And I I have to admit you know it. You walk a line there hardly a day certainly not a week goes by that you don't walk a line between you know doing what you think okay you'll win. And do you think at 40 you notably the right thing to do -- It's a constant battle I think for a lot of people in the football. And I think the ultimate reason that that decisions are made has to do with that well so until pays my paycheck. I get a bigger paycheck if I win on successful if this helps me when I'm going to do. End of story."

Play from 13:05[13:05]" End of story. If you're getting paid a lot of money to do what you do. And your boss sort of usual wink wink nudge nudge know what I mean bend the rules here. Maybe if you step over -- little wrist slap but you know the -- a -- some some and you paycheck next month. What are you going to do any -- being paid well to begin with RG to give the benefit of the doubt the employer or do you want to give the benefit of the doubt that the guy who's quote unquote taking care view. Portion -- human nature. Or you know is your righteous indignation that pop open so I can't do that. That's getting an unfair advantage over Joe Schmo down the you know -- central Ariel brand X opponent down the street. -- like those impersonation what's gotten into you today I don't know. We -- some food don't know actually as a it is the greens he had -- I don't know you know get those demons and -- just you know it just got me -- I'm I'm like you know this whole. Bit over you know people given up there you know expand them. You know if -- if -- be on what do we and the what they were argued about last -- you know some emails and what do I tell my kids you know. Parent yourself. These people aren't aren't you know I understand your your conundrum your problem but do what I -- my -- down easy huge patriots fan. He's 12 years old is almost 13 you know he's you know like dead the patriots really -- And as well liberal rules or liberal okay rule. And I say you know what they did was not correct they got caught doing it and you know they have to pay the price as it you do the crime -- do the time. It's as simple as that. But at least you know man up to and the patriots pretty much the -- That's it so I think the better choice here. That's a lost in this -- that I the better choice here is to not do it at all -- not go that route because then you'll be forced to make a choice to make a decision. But as -- if you make that decision that's fine you -- on your own and you might get away with a once or twice or even more than that. And that's when I told him. I said that twin arrogance comes and apply overconfident maybe a more accurate term and certainly one I think that he can understand. Better than arrogance. But that's what you get overconfident that you keep to woody keep doing and eventually going to get caught you can -- paid a price is just best not to start. So I didn't tell him no don't do that as a bad thing -- don't know. I prefer to let him. Reason it out in his own mind."

Play from 15:46[15:46]" I mean to me that's what -- supposed to look at just what to give kids the ability reason and think on their feet. An in and use the head you know use that big pimple on between their two children write for something other than a hat rack."

Play from 15:58[15:58]" And that's what I try to do with him I suggest that's what you try to do with -- children. You know becomes door do you live web that -- woman -- boy -- bill Bulger to -- well you know you don't necessarily have to do that. -- a big boy take care of himself. Sure you can take your yourself that you think ultimately that I was just such a rotten thing of the papers do that -- you don't want to follow the team anymore of -- the with a Norwich on the way out. And you know by the -- you know what you know what team to root for now I guarantee yelled dig up some the moment and it. I guarantee it."

Play from 16:31[16:31]" Maybe get into Google your favorite team now from here on out."

Play from 16:37[16:37]" You might have do. I guarantee you could dig up dirt on anybody in any thing."

Play from 16:45[16:45]" You just can't. So I I guess that's really why I I. When I read you know that that billick was really kind of blown you know huffy -- over and I kind of laughed because it was the jets. And so you know obviously I think there's more of the jets that meets the guy and I do believe that the that jay Glazer got that videotape and put on fox TV from the jets. I think the ultimate -- I was gonna find that out and that you know this whole you know -- on the patriots is going to come back and slapped them right in the face. You know it's already going to hurt Eric Mangini professionally. You know because you know he better hope that he isn't nice long career in New York -- I don't know that the man gets hired anywhere else. Who's going to want to hire somebody that's going to wrap on his organization on its former organizations is not going to happen. I you know I think he's already damaged himself for you know future position certainly as a head coach they've been out as a coordinator but as a head coach -- And then then again if you -- the president it was a coordinator let's say he doesn't keep his job in New York. You'd hire the guys a coordinator. You -- bring -- and then you're going to be discussing you know relatively privileged information you know in the war room so to speak. Aren't you going to got to look at him as an all or -- rescind his opponent because he's going to go squeal."

Play from 18:05[18:05]" Now let's say he gets head coaching job next year that'll that he's going to squeal and tell on us about you know what we do. I'm telling -- it's a legitimate concern did Eric Mangini do the right thing well at the time I'm sure he thought he did. Because he's supposed to be loyal to the person who's paying his paycheck. But you know this is a battle that there's just no real right or wrong answer here. It really depends on you the individual in Eric Mangini I think chose -- Especially down realizing that you this is got wide ranging repercussions. And so now somebody's calling him a cheater in addition to a rat now they're calling him a cheater."

Play from 18:49[18:49]" I just you know who. This this whole video -- spike gate thing is is is going to have tentacles. And I mean obviously the tentacles were already out there but nobody gonna cut these things off is going to be like that you know octopus that you can't kill. Because all the pinnacle -- going to keep going right back in the Nixon going to get bigger and longer and -- and I really believe this hold and cheating mess. This whole story is going to continue to be like political. It's going to -- its tentacles around almost every facet of the of the NFL and probably eventually spread to other sports. It's not going away it's just not going to. By you know I think it's best that you get used to it I think it probably get into heaven too. You know be interspersed in our conversations for a while. When you consider rules that are broken and fines that are 11 suspensions that will undoubtedly be handed down in old between now and you know. 20 years from now whatever you want to. You know whenever they decide that they you know have a relatively bulletproof set of rules things without loopholes. Then I think you'll finally see it calmed down there's gotta be some more rules made there's gotta be people that there's gotta just be some things changed. Too many loopholes and I think there's been too much trust. And the the NFL -- Roger Goodell probably will get their arms around this issue is best is that humanly can. And I think he's actually done the right thing about try to you know put down along hammered -- law. He'll get a handle on this list nip this in the bud before it gets you know more serious. But they're going to -- start investigating you know. The patriots into the point we're all their videotape has been called into question well -- he got to do that with the other 31 teams honestly don't just stop with the patriots. Don't just make an example a lot of the patriots. Don't just hammer the patriots. He needs star hammer and other people is as good way to much talk in the media way too much talked. You know almost fans on message boards and new venues like this that other teams do this well if they do let's get to the bottom of let's find it out. So commissioner Goodell and those who reside in the NFL and ownership capacity in in the decision making -- always show some leadership now make sure that we start distinct. And we to a right. Don't just do this thing half past let's just let's go the whole way would. -- real cheating in real deceit going on -- not just what I called gamesmanship. That was going to the bottom of -- and bottom of it and stop it otherwise. Then leave well enough alone and let boys be boys or this case men -- men. If it's always going on wink wink nudge nudge know what I mean. Leave it the hell alone. You -- choice to -- that may not be the right choice to make what if you're only going to persecute one team. One individual then leave it alone don't go there. Usually only call people on a car but when you prepared to do a complete and thorough role."

Play from 21:57[21:57]" Cavity search of the NFL. And that's basically what we're talking about here we're talking about bending the NFL over and giving -- a cavity search that's what we're doing."

Play from 22:08[22:08]" So I don't you want to you know go there -- if you want to kid and that. All but you know based on reading the complaints from Brian billick in Baltimore that's the conclusion that I am left to give you today. Leave well enough alone or be prepared to just -- everybody because you're going to have some serious nailing the -- we've mentioned I believe was yesterday on the program that him. There was and I don't actually I don't know put him into this country probably know this but on the -- in addition to. A Bill Belichick allegedly supposedly getting a contract extension through 2013 on Michael Smith had written anthem. It was on Sunday on espn.com Honda but Adam's arm. Extended Jeff Fisher's contract as a coach of the Tennessee Titans court system a year ago he was on his way out. So last year was deal and and he was on his way out of everybody's thinking or is he going to land back there was some question is whether or not he would even make it last year. No of course Vince young came into play in the and that kind of changed things. And they ended up with a highly more successful season -- than anybody thought you know would be possible for the titans. And you know he is the NFL's longest tenured coach at a at a particular team. And he has got a contract extension says he hopes to finish out his career in Tennessee. So on the pretty cool he's in his 13 season with franchise that used to beat Houston Oilers. He's been with the franchise obviously since it was in Houston. And I think is actually in pretty good job so anyway Jeff Fisher going to be around for a while -- I know yesterday -- mentioned briefly about how via Atlanta Falcons. Re -- Morton Anderson my god he's -- 47 years old. But the falcons have their own problems on offense in the with the Evans of Michael think they also signed -- Byron Leftwich to not a one year deal a two year deal at quarterback. Which tells you they've really don't have a whole lot of confidence in Joey Harrington -- they. But left which apparently who's been plagued by one ankle knee. Brain problems who knows. Harrington apparently is going to be made the fall guy in in Atlanta foursome difficulties that are not entirely all his fault. Matt -- missed couple field goals in the loss to Jacksonville on Sunday so that's the reason for turning to Morton with who's a lot Anderson. How could you not root for I mean oddly rooted for the falcons for that reason alone just to see Anderson get on the field capable he's 47. He's almost -- old -- I'm 48. Morton Anderson 47 years old any still active in the NFL god bless him."

Play from 24:57[24:57]" What was the record George -- it was how old. Was he 15 did he make it to 1515."

Play from 25:04[25:04]" It was quite old but I'm pretty sure it was 5451. Somebody will email me that I I would hope web radio and patriots -- that I have today I had one other item. While -- talk a bit about Kevin Everett and bull -- get in the that would Mark Kelso from the you know bill and just let them put them. -- to admit that you know the biggest story has to do where that's concerned with the all fact that the -- doctors tended to him quickly and they had just had a training station over what to do if you read anything about the story at all. Quality -- an emergency you know kind of like a trial by fire or what they would do -- someone you know had a serious neck injury. And involved you know pumping on the you know chilled saline solution. You know into you know the person or kind of slowed on the metabolism -- honest -- nice to have but apparently it worked like you know clockwork and I think that bat. Type of thing that kind of stories and it really needs to be said was that we can get into that little bit more."

Play from 26:11[26:11]" Mark Kelso is the is the radio analyst for the bills on the radio network former bills linebacker -- is here and said the patriots label. Mark how are -- thanks for the time."

Play from 26:21[26:21]" yet to be guys that beat that it back meant only -- I am well. I'm all restore all let."

Play from 26:27[26:27]" Fair enough fair enough a -- the story that would that you don't I think that the most people were really kind of talking about though has to do with Kevin Everett in the fact that that the physicians for the bills acted quickly to the point where now he has a reasonable chance to recover somewhat can you kind of give us a sense for you know Powell that number one that'll happen in number two. Are they are they getting the bills positions are they getting the kind of credit maybe that they shouldn't deserve"

Play from 26:55[26:55]" I think 1 of all I think it is her -- a lot of credit I I know that the organization at a medical step. What I play was always concern about might help primarily before. You know before making sure -- was ready to play of the game. Before they were concerned about whether or not -- beauty employ it. And so they deserve a lot of credit -- but it's still think they have -- top step you know now. But they they didn't have any job and not the other the other club's medical people from other -- couldn't have done similar work but when it happened I think that the way the whole thing. Our -- fired is that a lot of this it was. Treatment I think is is innovative came some of -- from the Miami project hope to -- his real involved with the right. -- there. Yeah -- announcements going to school. Has -- pitching as very improbable as well. Researching in the end activities with despite so some of -- was a result of that but I think the most important thing was that they they used. This political and they had the opportunity uses in such an expeditious fashion when injury occur and an injury like that occurs in the medical -- I was right there on site they have. The techniques in India and these supplies available which greeted in in the more aggressive -- and certainly it was. I think -- with a patient from the trainers in all those those people all. His decision as they let's -- used to lower is core body temperature I think on the field it it is my understanding. In that apparently has played a big well. -- and in this successes that he's so far I think the prognosis is it seems to be pretty good although I hear having inside information guys. Any other than what I read in the paper and and but retirement see that it kept you know he seems to be encouraged so that's a good sign it and 89 or everybody thinking about it in about a it was a really thought we."

Play from 29:03[29:03]" I'm sure was and I know that you know ahead the whole video game episode not been happening here. -- or an end for that matter around the country that it it is a story that would have gotten a heck of a lot more people talking about it and and I bring it up here Ferrari in particular because obviously we've all got blinders on here were all focused on what's going on. You know here New England but I think it's tremendous story and I and I wanted. You know doctor cappuccino and his staff and those that treated him -- to get the due here because this isn't cutting edge stuff. And if I were talking about you know saving not only person's life but we're talk about giving him some hope being able return isn't kind of normalcy and I I think it's a tremendous story."

Play from 29:41[29:41]" Yeah I like yeah. I have I have greatly to those guys any was here well -- here it was job Marshall. There's some of the other medical personnel couple have changed over the years here -- well that's great that's good head trainer Mark is pistons would hear what I was here. -- plain as they've been here for a long time again I think do an outstanding job. And they probably all the credit that they're duplex but you know I think -- do -- for that reason neither -- they were just they'll tell you that they were just doing their job there with an air of humility as well. And but it -- this a great story. And you never like to see anybody get injured let no you know on the field guys were Korean form players up from is being from the building and other players from. The -- goes as well most certainly as an athlete you want to be very competitive but. We never want to see anybody on either all have an injury."

Play from 30:31[30:31]" No dale Mark Kelso former bill now part of the bills radio network joining us here and said patriots playbook. You know obviously that the loss notwithstanding you know that whole you know injury to Kevin Everett just. It's your team on a little bit of a downward spiral to start the season in -- obviously that's not the way anybody. Wants to start the season how best do these guys kind of pick themselves up premier."

Play from 30:53[30:53]" Well you can armitage -- you're too much I think they've they've done some good things but. And they've had very little offensive production that they that they need to do is he going to work -- every day. And try to make -- part of their game better indoor try to fix everything. Aim it -- practice they did some good things that two with any they had the opportunity when that they ever game just until the last eight seconds and and -- we did not play very well against very -- the other team and it and and it showed that I think I think they -- mentally and yeah and emotionally exhausted from that we can everything interest part so. I really didn't expect -- that -- really good performance so are there are gutsy the first step and they held up but. Good 12 I think it was called not going to -- but I think part that was the emotion of Kevin -- for him but. Again I think he was straining door in the weeks so they'd they or able to sustain an effort it would be good enough to beat a very good Pittsburgh game. But they need to do defensively they've got -- to get off the field on third downs -- they have not been able to do. Then offensively and subsequently they need to be -- convert on third -- In opening up and -- me up as the biggest gripe cholesterol April office right and and that's -- 60 -- I think is very very capable. And as a a lot of ability but there has not played his best the first few weeks and expect him have a much better performance that."

Play from 32:19[32:19]" What is your take on los men's I guess quote unquote criticism of a lack of flow. I don't know says in the play calling."

Play from 32:28[32:28]" And the post game interview I did not think he was -- coaches at all. And I didn't eat alluded to the Beckett media were trying to drum up that it probably work. I didn't think he -- if he was more comparable it would he says it was a fact when they spread out that this particular is they had more success there we'll make definite I'd. -- shot at a very good day running the football was very impressed to a rubber -- But they had more successful make Greta I felt that they would split up earlier in the game they did not for whatever reason I -- I think JP just sit them uncomfortable when his credit out but he go listen to the plate going I don't think he was saying. They go very chuck Culpepper plays that you just say hey we had good success. Maybe this is something that we start the game with his reacting the open defenses doing that. I didn't read anything that I ensure that the players -- coaches."

Play from 33:20[33:20]" While buffalo New England and is certainly had they a worthwhile rivalry over the last. You know few decades as well I know you were part of a lot of those matchups Kimberly you've been around the league -- 14 years is that actually right."

Play from 33:33[33:33]" Then you okay oh but it would then and now. I was in updated."

Play from 33:38[33:38]" It seems like -- I mean seemed like you played last year I mean honestly that's how time flies I think. Now if it were for those that don't know Europe you're still coaching to correct a --"

Play from 33:49[33:49]" Bicycle -- I administration and coach I grow here. And and you worked on different aspects of the game besides just the ball a lot of character building. In young men that are going to want to -- not too many which -- like football or maybe. You know warp a year in that division route one double -- arm through this. I enjoyed being part of the game -- that practice is look because in the beginning."

Play from 34:16[34:16]" Just going to say how does Europe staying in the game as a coach helped you. In terms of all your broadcasting for the bills."

Play from 34:23[34:23]" Well you think it is an awful lot because here. When you when you play at a high school level. It is a little bit of -- watered down version number we do some things some pretty good things defensively as a particular aspect that it came in and but it. But it helps me to be able to explain things to people so we have a brought -- tried to bring some air simplicity to it because it coaches I think so try to. That'd make a little more complicated it is and I can hopefully simplifying it for the lesser paint that picture in their mind when I'm doing the broadcast that it they can get them at all image of what's going on feel bad about it because I was in the not not use and too much coach speak because they're a lot of people out there I think cycle coaches like some times is they understand game -- like I do but when you listened for the average standards into the air fares though he's too much of that stuff because. There you'll understand we we duo -- that we do -- classroom every week but we try to explain some. Football terminology and and then and then is to bring -- the -- casual listener an occasional casual fans the speed like coach would be. And understand -- that terminology that we referred to throughout the game sort and that way we try to I try to help a little bit bridge the gap between. Same thing that it might be more coach we Kim as opposed to just regular."

Play from 35:46[35:46]" Now that's cool stuff now what I get into the regular match ups in the regular home drama the -- is in the -- everything. I I've liked it he we get approached you know taken a look at a good honest look at buffalo like this. Maybe you could come up with a for us -- it what you feel is an overrated part and it vastly underrated part to this football team. -- two weeks."

Play from 36:08[36:08]" Vastly underrated there's no question that this I think the dressing up as as -- generated. And I think they have great they have a great opportunity to be successful in that aspect of the game I think Marshall Islands will be a receiver out of definitely you can that. The limited production the -- offenses the first couple weeks as you all. That this guy's the real deal he has great balance he has great vision -- our exports to the -- So I think you know office I think it's a pretty -- offense villages. I don't feel there -- so little because -- they have -- three guys in the capital Lima -- their lectures that takes a little while those guys gel. And blocking schemes although I think they've been doing pretty good joke protection. And I think -- JP you play a lot better than playing he's capable of it I think he will do so that's an aspect of the rushed through that. Certainly that's definitely at this -- it very underrated right now and and defensively I think they've done an awful lot of good things I don't think they're overrated really be especially hitter problem right near the bottom there to put. It's -- a couple big ones with a couple runs here and there are couple plays that they let get away from. As opposed -- consistency that they need to have probably be successful so I. You know you never know what's going to happen mcenroe -- when you play in New England when -- played them our division rival he can try to throw everything out the window last year. I think doing what was heavily favored as well and Annika. We have a victory there were debilitated New England yup and and in in you make use similar thing is we've got -- a visits going to be very challenging for the bills but. But again it to division rivalry -- when that happens and with -- that -- cursed at those events through now on. -- put to bed a little that they -- never story a little bit and always -- bad but the fact -- he's hit some good prognosis as well I think that would really help from the."

Play from 38:01[38:01]" Nothing markets you know maybe overrated really wasn't that the the term that I than a -- that was appropriate use their perhaps then. There's certainly is an area of -- of improvement that you already identified on the table offensively and -- and actually I would think the consistency has to be that probably for just about anything you you talk about."

Play from 38:21[38:21]" Yet -- throughout I think if you if you are talk about a -- displayed. Much better than they played last year I think it should be that the deck was. I've been doing a really nice job Kyle Williams -- And Larry Tripplett it manners and and -- cargo I think if they have played some really good football first couple weeks here that's an area where they they needed to get better -- in order these fans and I think they've shown that so for the but it this year."

Play from 38:46[38:46]" Let me also suggest that one of the more difficult match -- for the patriots. Is Aaron Schobel and trying to keep him out of the backfield and often Tom -- backside during again."

Play from 38:57[38:57]" Hey is quality during the cup fielded in Iraq brought down inside the he he's a permanent end rusher and I I think he's he's pretty hungry or four I think yes act -- yeah you been playing well today -- in addition to some it would be offensive players I think he has. And and it you know I think yeah he did do some damage -- especially of five or seven stepped up that. That the other pitchers into deep thought and threw out they got that hole. Chorus stable receivers there in NL I think -- that you don't have to figure out a way they handle that -- but the I didn't over on the outside or not. And that he's pretty he's pretty athletic heritage we can drop -- recovers to electric stuff from. Back in through the middle little bit as well a minute if he's he's got the edge Rusch go -- you're always worried about him come back inside as an offensive tackle which you can do pretty effectively as well but 88 you don't play well I believe the last couple weeks and then hopefully. It would be it would be no different this week with we -- doing."

Play from 39:58[39:58]" Mark also again a former bill now part of the -- radio network joining us here and -- the patriots playbook what is the buffalo perspective on the whole video game escapades that took place here over the course last week."

Play from 40:11[40:11]" Yeah I am excited to make coaches -- I know it there's. But the truth of the problem I think in the community here in what are by type about it it just really -- compromised the integrity of the game I think there are a lot of coaches to sit up there they they put the binoculars like guys they try to steal signals in the game time but it was. I think that -- maybe or the fact that it was a blatant disregard for the rules and I think that's what people -- Upset about spin and I mean I think every there's probably every team in the league does -- its like its signal on game day all they do what it would in this spirited -- of the rules. I think it's so hey like the punishment that they edit that out. Okay I felt like itty -- made it designation as to whether they made it close -- that would affect the way the punishment was handed out so. -- that really has really should play a part how successful they are just that they did it they need to be punished. But but I go back later you know you have binoculars on -- just trying to figure that and -- as -- that because. It's two or three different guys were under the hot signal just like in baseball or your -- are trying to do so. And I think it's a big is big deal still undecided it is the blatant disregard for the rules in place."

Play from 41:26[41:26]" And I they most everybody would tend to agree where that's concerned now of course the more important matter is how halves. The reviews spin on -- looking at what the patriots have done to start their season and went in the added offensive weapons bring to -- a defensive coordinator job of trying to prepare for these guys."

Play from 41:43[41:43]" Yeah very difficult to prepare. Then they fight scene it's great stupid fighting guys opening this seems and that's the scary part because. -- think you're -- some anti France which cover those guys but wouldn't do that you'd better have some pressure that you offensive line is solid. Ended if you go to resolve yeah that's pretty -- back there he's going to I'd a waited to peaches so. It's a combination of old saying in trying to bring some confusion I think it would. What breaks -- regularly throughout Beckett instead certain pocket but at the use that plays from the buffalo sabres this year. Well that your guys are still a good bet it's. Not a all the weapons and it's going to be sure for the built the same."

Play from 42:26[42:26]" If you could fine and value probably haven't even seen this yet you that you may not have -- it probably come this week in your in your game preparation. If you could just. Game plan if you could find something to do to move that football against the patriots defense that that edited -- Thomas and and I some other regional factors in there and his you know right now try to do this in in in doing it apparently a pretty good level without guys like Seymour and and Hairston in there. What would you do what what what do the bills need to do in your estimation at this stage order try to be successful."

Play from 42:59[42:59]" Roy you know I haven't I do much thought until later in the week like elegant give -- specifics but I. Generally I know what the patriots do you have you can it's very difficult to running side MM it's got to find ways. The bills you to push -- other media do these guys put it bootleg where did you move in the pot it's. Whether it's perhaps -- But he got to get outside the tackle Iran because. Those gathered to get an inside I mean it's about -- assure their two gap but yeah other than those who will -- and I wore those guys keep their shoulders where Eric. And really do a terrific job of not letting that up as a -- to get to the second level. Very difficult to run. Aqua tackle against this team you have to -- just sat on the edge. Inspect weapons maybe like you know outside attack -- and that's oh -- that you can do that sometimes is with the bread. You move guys doubt in English bred that feet and felt so they predetermined a little bit more what they might do prior to this step in JP is an opportunity set. That make the adjustment and maybe a couple -- at the line I think is that in the best play called possible. In the other thing is see you're you're when they post some -- it was they've got them. Some some interesting ones when they're bringing guys receivers have to be aware ready have a quarterback -- be aware they've got a runner right route decided just. The quarterback got -- our you gotta get the bot ever going to be big problems and those are."

Play from 44:24[44:24]" Market got a final four him and ended -- I don't know more than you'd have an opinion on this but it just seems to me to become an extraordinary affected the line on this game. Is 16 and a half I think is it is right now which is I don't remember a line in the NFL being that large but one team being favored over another by that amount especially. When it comes to -- division rivals playing at each other -- use that as motivation."

Play from 44:48[44:48]" So we're going to have a plastered -- figure -- as I could possibly have quite an important role in your locker to locker room. And good isolate. I wouldn't -- that he would be that tied the game especially being individual rivalry but. We get the look at what they did this -- your name with the bills did in Pittsburgh -- recently shut them. Probably the most prolific offense in an element in the -- that has very limited production to this point so. I mean given them the traditional seven point is there -- public -- another seven more. Because right now they seem to be better football team in the built so I wouldn't think 14 was unreasonable to start to go higher than net. Then and that that seems a little uncharacteristic for me."

Play from 45:28[45:28]" You always realize though that -- 14 points and shrivel. Pretty quickly when it comes to turn the ball over -- field position."

Play from 45:34[45:34]" Yeah -- in those special teams have been outstanding just outstanding and and that I would expect not -- us again this week they they put the building great position a couple of press last week. Scored the first week so you never know what can happen to ever article Veres and then just -- returning kicks him into it is one perimeter that you did think you -- brought back it opposing offense appreciate opinions also -- factors well."

Play from 45:59[45:59]" Absolutely Mark thanks so much for at a time of the day we greatly appreciated and a safe travels to New England for the weekend. The other -- also get it was a former safety for the Buffalo Bills are finished his playing career in it was it was 1993 I believe was played do what 810 years in the NFL eight years over on the NFL now he is. And he high school football coach in upstate New York Gandy is the color analyst on the Buffalo Bills radio network in joined us here today -- inside the play -- one other question that we talked about -- had to do with you know if your bubble defensively how do you slow down what you do how do you match up against the patriots offense. And our email question of the day again is -- we're a little slow on this folks to get off on this now we're going to make this happen -- We need your nicknames for the patriots offense. I however radio patriots dot com finally 5437482 in the second our program get inside the patriots locker room and that laws are here for patriots coach Bill Belichick a little bit later on you know number two for programs there thanks again Mark Kelso four bills safety wise it linebacker item on the Gary just that he was a former linebacker and I just happens -- little rule to ultimately. It did not immediately dawn on me that he's more Kelso who used to play football for the bills and saw saw the name -- recognize the name but he didn't say. Former bill former bill player didn't say anything about it -- support you also don't -- Bio won them it says stay. -- Allen had read I believe anything -- there's -- problem I don't believe anything wikipedia -- you do. Okay magnum PI thank you. Thank you god thank you that's from see I Oreo and saint Catherine's Ontario thank you magnum PIR -- I did get Tom Selleck right -- correct. I did accurately did say Tom selling this could remember the name of the character and the television shows you gotta give me you know at least what. Half for that one. Here's -- give me crap okay Craig in South Carolina what's happening Craig."

Play from 56:32[56:32]" Eight it we haven't. Well -- and -- it there's fanatic curtain San Diego game that I don't think anybody is. I've talked about do and Diego head. I don't know -- ball. Here and ones and going -- okay near the end of the third quarter San Diego we scored. And it got the ball back on their own 18 and literally and point four. It eagles -- gotten down field -- connected on three passes. And an -- 37 yard pass interference penalty any of the 12 yards and then 12 yards to be. Well well there were back -- getting ready called all the deep sense over. And outside on TV you know they had all the guys -- around in in. You know he was I -- saying what he had this. Hard hitting well now caught the ball was run down field. He's probable and did go to the ball back and score almost point 414. Milicic had just gotten done with his defensive -- and really. Absolutely yeah or Philip Rivers and his powerful back 30 some odd yards they can't even kick a field goal I mean. That's just not only did -- bigger players are actually you know react to bill my. You know I just thought that was an awesome displays see those guys just. Just take our play after play and keep questions in go back almost."

Play from 58:23[58:23]" well I think when you're sufficiently motivated to do that when. Somebody spends the entire week you know -- you know Jeter in that you know what you earned over the last you know six years three Super Bowl wins. You know obviously is somewhat denigrated now and I think that they had certain you know sufficient amount of motivation what -- in. And put San Diego back and Ed Ed did it and every at every point and I -- I'm not surprised at all. That they completely dominated the football game not a not in the least."

Play from 58:51[58:51]" Walnut Jeremiah and I know it's a lot eagle you know to go undefeated nobody's done it since the 72 dolphins but the way this team has played the first two weeks -- that any indicator I'm gonna say that we got a pretty good shot that."

Play from 59:06[59:06]" Well we talked a little just a great about you know where you thought the lie noble that the likely downfall could come. And you know I think there was some bought two weeks six because some. All the game is at Miami and it traditionally is a tough place to play and it could be the only time this year that the patriots you know it would stand to lose a divisional game we also looked obviously in the that the November 4 game in the orders and ninth tenth week through with a game at that your at the young colts as a possibility. And then down I think the Baltimore ravens game a little bit after that of course the Steelers so there are still three or four potential -- home you know problem areas and in certainly questionable weeks that are out there on the schedule. But you know the way that they you know completely and totally flat in the last two teams in in both ought to be pretty good team -- suggested there's no reason think that if they stay. Healthy and of course that's a big gift because you know we all know that injury do you play a -- even though -- people's view you can never use injuries as an excuse well technically that's true. That's true but. You know you are clearly a better team when you're healthy then you are when you are hurt and so therefore your team is affected by injuries. And if they stay relatively healthy they will have a shot at it perhaps doing. You know what the dolphins did back in 1972 I think that there's a legitimate shot is what we saw last week."

Play from 1:00:30[1:00:30]" Yet because we were so we've got how much power. And such great balance on offense and on these sensible if you look a lot of the look at a lot of the teams that we're going to be playing against and a great deep sense and a poor offense or you know great defense and no -- you know it just mixed. Probably the most balanced in Oregon State would be at the colts."

Play from 1:00:56[1:00:56]" Well I think you know any time you got Peyton Manning meantime you've got is still you know a legitimate -- passing game and a decent of running game is they still haven't I've always like I like Joseph Addai college I like him even more now as a Perot I I just that you know. I think though the patriot's match up well with the colts defensively and so I think that in itself was where. The -- is going to be I think patrons will be able to slow down Peyton Manning and other won't stop him. I think they'll be able to slow him down enough to where patrons should roll over the colts offense at least in in in in again if they're healthy and they don't turn the ball over to a three times the patriots when the football game you know that's couple months off."

Play from 1:01:35[1:01:35]" Or something different it would -- nice to see our guys running like -- on -- abstract. I think he you know you know your act --"

Play from 1:01:46[1:01:46]" Absolutely on a -- kind of somebody like it was a serious fans is got to have some kind of a nickname for this patriots office."

Play from 1:01:54[1:01:54]" Karma yeah. I and a couple of by email."

Play from 1:02:01[1:02:01]" Oh you did you cinemanow reading all -- with a you don't want then well I'll get to him I'll get to Atlanta I won't make you only use you know. You've given away earlier -- want to. Okay I'll give them the okay good I'll freedom I definitely will read them. Thanks buddy."

Play from 1:02:23[1:02:23]" Your -- blowing you up Craig but he always let you get your stuff in first that he blows you off. With the way -- let's see here we go -- this is nice all that's okay here's Greg yeah -- Yeah I think I saw your email interest in here. I Craig says the -- precision attack team PAT it's not bad Craig's as the driving force for poetry in motion. I was -- queer the relentless wave. But the there's anything wrong with -- of course. The unite the unified front I."

Play from 1:03:06[1:03:06]" Just like the boy -- great okay driving force that's not bad unified front yeah that's okay that's good suggestions Greg thank you. I -- While what did you do to Gary Craig. He does that was such conviction he push that button was such conviction policy there's a bunch of emails and hear from the tail end of PFW. That of -- didn't get to and I always on that I usually read through these gonna do read through these. So all due respect I'm going to get some of the emails out about the offense of suggestions first and then I'll come back to some of the emails is because. Quite frankly some really good and you know hey we like the fact that you do this we liked the fact that she's an immense. All right come from Larry. Who says the ballots -- barrage."

Play from 1:04:08[1:04:08]" But that's okay but Gary -- sound effects for one that you like -- don't like. It is want to play the game always -- he's afraid of you probably over -- in the box him probably you know some disease -- him. Punch but tonight -- are -- ago. Jim in Florida writes carpal tunnel carpal tunnel right. I grew up knowing that I -- a 40 plus -- pats fan living in Florida appreciate the radio show you its rival opinion interviews wrestlers thank you. On I'll stick with the team through this latest crisis just as I always have to the many many lean years. And the previous allegations of cheating snowplow -- controversies but here's my concern I would appreciate your take on this. Dealing with -- evidence obtained by security personnel confiscated -- camera and videotape is one thing but for a commissioner. To demand the team turn over evidence not directly related to the case at hand is discriminatory and invasion of privacy and simply -- And mr. -- we're playing right into good -- hands to comply with the demand. I was Goodell also season reviews the videos and files from all 32 an adult themes he's discriminating against the papers demand video -- into the issue of the jets game. Mr. -- not follow suit against fidelity NFL to have a block having to surrender this is -- courting disaster based on the unfair and discriminatory nature of this request or demand and considering the heavy fines and penalties levied against the pats. Mr. craft would be smarter to follow suit against Goodell on the NFL over discrimination in days of invasion of privacy an unfair practices what do you think. Jim in Florida who also right past 31 bills ten he's getting in his finals or pick in the early but thank you Jim arm. I totally agree with you I'm I'm right here witty in fact that I mentioned as much a little bit earlier we're talking about the hello Brian billick complaining about the jets cheating last week. As of this is going to turn into persecution matter then they need to make sure that they persecute the other 31 team in the league otherwise it was completely totally unfair. I don't know if you'll ever see them shall -- file suit. Because I do believe that Roger Goodell looks to people such as mr. Kraft for a lot of advice mr. Kraft is -- the highly respected owners in the league. Maybe even the most respected owner in the NFL. And so I think that those in the NFL office from time to time do lean on people like mr. -- for their opinion. And they value it I don't know I think -- relationship there that I I don't think would be wise to terrorists under with a lawsuit. However I think he can be said -- old rock edge you don't think -- unfairly picking on us. Don't you think maybe you -- kind of look at you know this team that team and hey I heard that team X also does this what do you think about that. I think that would be the thing the thing to do. You don't make a suggestion that you know a you know it's -- what will comply but you know if we're going to him comply here than you need to look under some other stones. And -- I hope that Roger Goodell in the NFL is smarter."

Play from 1:07:02[1:07:02]" Then that. -- they realize that you know a big could be viewed as persecuting the patriots and that is not going to win them any points. Style or otherwise."

Play from 1:07:13[1:07:13]" But I think you kind of on the right track -- Jim I do. Okay Aaron rights here a couple of ideas regarding nicknames for the pats offense parading patience."

Without a you know one of those zone sideline jerseys on the photography is supposed to have videotaping different opponents not just the patriots it's actually quite understand -- these that the link here in a -- looked at it while we were listening to some of the locker rooms though there and a Scott answer your question yeah I think it probably is some validity there. I really don't of the that is one of the reasons why Brian billick -- a previous email or head of the program today. -- is what Billy probably called the jets on terms of their you know barking that the that the cadence in the signals a last week. I'm sure that terrorism there are some coaches around the NFL that are probably a little miffed at at Eric Mangini for doing what he did. Sort of breaking an unwritten code. So yeah I think there's probably some validity either the jets had better get their their house in order. But my guess is -- is going to come down hard on them too especially if it is found that that's were jay Glazer got videotape to begin with put on fox TV last week so. I think the gesture in position get nailed two and it would serve -- right. Fan and Dallas may -- you -- Brady's TD bombers Roger says pat scoring machine new England's bad boys and rich from -- says temper your enthusiasm for now. Back in 2002 right after winning the superbowl. Pastor of the season beating the Steelers 30 to 14 and follow that up with a 447 beating the jets seem to recall that. After that they only played okay and didn't make the playoffs that was near the finish nine and seven this team -- probably he says probably better than that one rich I would tend to agree with that assessment -- right. You're -- a little cold water on this thing temper the enthusiasm for now but that's no fun as. Not what were all about here as a -- by the way I like wicked this is about it was wicked. You know I actually I think that's funny but you know and it's very new England's very Boston very -- but problem is I don't think it's gonna get like repeated for publication here so. You know that's the one you're like that's great but I don't -- Bigby of the he's going to pick up on it nor is the patriots marketing -- pick up on the Kevin says I guess he didn't like my suggestion to Foxboro fusion office. I'm archery that way because you read it didn't give it a thumbs up as a potential. Or exploded with a T and T sound effects. You did make a sarcastic comment about me working for Gillette. Because of the play off with a razor brand name by the way I do not work for Gillette I submit the -- and fun just like the other fans think it is a decent suggested probably works -- west coast offense is eight years ago. Anyway I won't stand anymore."

Play from 1:51:24[1:51:24]" Gamut of -- Francis we -- potted everybody here. Warren in London England hello Warren. Play from 1:52:38[1:52:38]" Patriots firing squad -- I'm writing them down I think that I think -- potential. It may only be made it thinks that can't but it has potential. Thomas says I got it. Patriots flash pass good news good news but always is wickedness of bats that covers all the bats if like WTF is a day it was Thomas on the he's freaking fast pro linebacker -- monster know what -- the pads could catch him. You got to thank you that's that's it okay those that those of the suggestions now I've got six or seven here that I like. And so I think you know. If you have any others that you really really feel this strongly about. And send an email and make sure that it's in theory that Richard isn't it deleted -- before tomorrow's show people do is I'll give you the final list. At the beginning of tomorrow show at 2 PM eastern time and it. Beginning of the shall give it to you in the you'll have the entire show. To vote for your favorite and I'm going to pass on the patriots football weekly and then we're going to start referring to me on the show that we get them to do the same right. Was he wouldn't get -- to catch on -- like that play is good for another patriots. You go first only to you know seven years that the catch on how appropriate thing yelled sitting at their computers I hope at least somebody did somewhere. Somebody somewhere I hear once that I like. By the way they were the fans were great -- on Sunday network figure. I mean that was his loud and as decisive as I've heard first down yelled. Maybe maybe ever mean it was really good I don't mind my family said listen and watch the game in Texas they heard it. Almost every time we did they heard so. Are you regale BMW I like that one -- the whole Brady moss Welker BMW precision offense that's really you know like that on Brady's bombers BBs guns. -- thunder. Wicked this is that the Boston TV party. And the firing squad like all those those are all really good other you know that was another -- was in their economic cut somewhere -- I've picked out those seven in particular. Right -- you'll have your chance to. Come up with the the vote on that tomorrow but you can least begin thinking about it if you want to go that far off the vote sent it on into web radio -- patriots dot com -- holed it for tomorrow on spread dozen races after two -- for it doesn't do that. If your report is cover this week kids usually comes at around 4 PM eastern time on Wednesday as. And we get it before we leave here we passed along to you and yet it is out the patriots did not. I have Eugene Wilson or Billy Yates participate in practice today Wilson with -- angle gates of the shoulder Brady Stephen Neal David Thomas Kelley Washington Mike Wright had limited participation in practice today everybody else full participation. All the Buffalo Bills did not have Ryan Denney Keith Ellison or coy wire participate in practice today no one of those three players did not. Take part. And is as -- understandable Ellison and wire may be pinned up for awhile while wire with -- sprain especially so that could make them a little bit thinner. Off defensively against the patriots offense but next week and that does not bode well for buffalo probably a large reason why. The other spread I think in the game first -- post with about 14 points is already up to 16 and a half -- may -- 17 now. Just over the course the last 24 hours -- so. Tom and that's an extraordinarily large points spread knowledge is because as the NFL but it's large because it's two divisional rivals went in the NFL so. At any rate there you go now what we're going to do we -- isn't looking around at a time as we need to get on the patriots replay we will lump. Yeah Craig -- sent to many emails and you. We're going to hold coach Belichick ordered the fresh coach belichick's before you tomorrow if you really need to hear what bill has to say he really looking forward to hearing what he had to say you just have to go elsewhere the website. Today you display -- by himself. Because it is -- there for you and I would like to include included under the guise of the program here -- analog it is kind of somewhat challenged somewhat. It was your computers and it's easier just press the one but -- live listen now. Which is the one that you press the listened to this program organ on politics or you can get it -- and don't right. You do that it so we'll bring you Bill Belichick tomorrow will also bring you. Russell Baxter. On that you're going to play you who Baxter. God you always do that maybe the first -- you've ever not done that."
