To fly there no teams getting set up for Sunday at Texas stadium in Irving. And again as we mentioned on yes -- program. Only the fifth time the fifth time part of it may be believed. Who believe only fifth time in history that 25 an oh or better teams meet the regular season. -- the good."

Play from 1:14[1:14]" The fact is is that. You know obviously it's very hard especially in this day and age it is I'm sure many of you were aware of solid kept the ball to to go defeated. For very long obviously the the conversation of you know being undefeated for a season in the 16 -- has already have been talked about it talked about the point where it's kind of like all right do we need to go there anymore. But it will. Continued to be a part of our discussions as I've mentioned already a few times as long as somebody stays undefeated. And it will stay a part of the discussion -- probably until somebody actually does meet or surpass what the Miami Dolphins did back in the 70s. Obviously it's a different scenario now back then it was a 14 game regular season it's 60 now so technically after going 19 you know to surpass with the dolphins defensively -- but. Fifth time in history to five you know 14 to five -- team's network they were better the other four games just in case you were wondering -- you may have seen this already but just in case you haven't in the NFL has -- play in the some real big this week which is why you're seeing ESP NFL network and I mean the hype is out. The hype is definitely you know this if you pretty invention on the national level the hype is definitely -- in fact I just heard Jerry Jones. On the owners slash general manager of the cowboys on. My -- Rico show on ESPN radio this not 15 minutes ago so there definitely building up the high ball over the country. But doing it largely from a cowboys perspective that's what I still believe largely especially now in light though spike gate that kept the count Dallas Cowboys are once again back to being right there if not already there. As America's team. I don't the patriots were after 2001 and to a certain extent over the next three years even through the 2004 Super Bowl. All of a specialist since spike gated area in especially. Because what the patriots are doing in the salary cap era is treated somewhat with his -- is like all. Not the patriots again but -- ever going to lose and I I do think there's a lot of then the around the NFL or when it comes to consider the patriots and so that's why I think. People were going to like you know you know actually I might buy myself rooting for Dallas because they don't want to see the patriots win again. The other four games back in 1921 on November the 13 the Akron pros and the buffalo all Americans. Akron was 7 at the time buffalo was six in all of the time. And on that November 13 they they tied 00 -- about that so that it would both stayed undefeated on November the fourth 1923. Was the second time this occurred. And that would be the -- bulldogs and the Chicago cardinals both teams were five Indo. And the -- bulldogs defeated the cardinals seven to three that day on November the fourth of 1920s then you had to go 50 years before it happened again. You imagine 50 years. October 28 1973. The rams and the vikings playing at Minnesota and Minneapolis. Metropolitan stadium and the vikings and the rams were both six to know that day in the vikings beat the rams at home tendon nine. And then the last time that this occurred as I'm sure patriot fans are definitely aware -- the patriots at home here at that. Gillette stadium back in October the 24 2004. Just three short years ago. In the course -- beat the jets here both team for five you know on the pats on the game 13 to seven. So those are the the previous four times in NFL regular season history that teams at five -- oh or better net during the regular season. So this is still a rare occurrence I realize it's only been three years since that happened but when you consider that there -- 50 years between -- occurrences. In this streak is still as a significant occurrence in the overall scheme of things in the NFL. That a lot of great individual matchups in this game I mean we talk a little about this on yesterday's program if you didn't join us we're asking for EU. In particular whether you're patriots fan or cowboy fan listening to the -- the broadcast we ask where you thought your team. Had a definitive advantage. In what part of the game. What part of the football team what part of the field -- your team hold a definitive advantage over the opposition. Talk about cowboys versus patriots and and vice -- and -- the match ups here are you know the really good even though quite frankly they don't actually go against each other but at the obvious one is is certainly. Randy moss and Terrell Owens they've been talking about the all week obviously -- the humorous little message on his tape on his locker four members of the Dallas media. Taken yesterday you may have seen them on your local sportscast funniest hander on some various -- does and that he wasn't going to take any questions until after the game and calling him so be originally won in the second 81 of course referring to Randy moss and that particular instance which I think is humorous I mean you know. With -- like him or not I mean. Terrel Owens he may be all about trying to you know. Plug Terrell Owens but. The fact is is that he sort of got an reverence to limit. Quite frankly I think we're all kind of used to -- in you know in the one thing that I think the NFL can always uses a little more fun and I actually think. Is sometimes it may be a little bit of a bass backwards way if you like you know if you understand the meaning but I think that's what he's all about. So -- you know it's fine it's okay. Hum but obviously that's the one matchup we've got that you know Tom Brady versus Tony Romo -- got Brady of the present against you know potentially. I've heard in several circles this week the Brady of the future. In Tony Romo. And in part to dispel that. I think you know -- certainly is a different style quarterback in Tom Brady. Like Tony Romo in fact I heard this announced yesterday and I happen to agree with a Romo is a young Brett -- He has a lot of the same characteristics of Brett -- of the quarterback he's got. You know toughness about it he's got that ability to kind of pick a team up when he knows that he needs to pick a team up. On he's got that sort of -- gunslinger mentality where he'll throw a pass into a spot that. He probably should Madonna and he might get he might get picked off but he won't cause him to back down and be afraid to do it again if he thinks that the best way to get the team down -- the obviously didn't have a -- from last week is buffalo but act as the cowboys won the game soul hard to argue with -- overall. Mom any surely get some foot speed in some ability to run out of the pocket and create things where there are -- there is nothing. And so I think that's what a lot of people like about Roma and while he certainly an unfinished unpublished product fact is is that. He's got the capability -- think of leading his team you've got the top two offenses. In the entire NFL matched up. That's -- number one cowboys number two. You've got to or excuse me actually in total offense it's actually cowboys number one by just like five yards. And the patriots number two which you've got the top two scoring offenses in the league the patriots number one of the cowboys number two. So great matchups. On that side of the football on the offenses -- you notice that I mentioned only offensive players in offensive facets and an aspect of the football game. Defensively speaking hum. I think that the battle when you have two very solid teams going at each other. The battle always comes down to the trenches and certainly feel position turn -- it always does when -- of two teams that are of all of like an an equal ability but. This is where I think the Dallas Cowboys have shown the most improvement. From last year to this year they've had a tremendous amount of solidarity inconsistency in this in the play their offensive line I think the cowboys offensive line is vastly improved Marc Colombo local fans here in New England might remember him from his days as a standout offensive tackle at Boston college. And he was a first round draft pick of the Chicago Bears and he got himself hurt early in the process and he was a bust. -- Chicago and he was picked up basically off of the scrap the by the cowboys and even though he struggled at times last year he has had a superlative. Time this year he's a -- he's had a very solid season and cowboys will be count. On Marc Colombo to keep the patriots Ed reg Ed edge rusher out of the -- the back. I think that'll certainly be one key you can look -- obviously can flip it the other side but -- Matt light -- had a tremendous year as well for the patriots. In keeping Tom Brady relatively clean in his Jersey under. But the play of of Colombo on that all of its line with a hundred your rotten at it moved having moved senator. And and Flozell Adams having having made -- better than expected year over the cowboys offensive line. -- has been a huge factor that kept Tony Romo relatively clean as well and that player that line is open up enough lanes especially -- for a guy like Marion Barber who I think is a vastly underrated running back. And it allows. Rowboat to make plays which is what he does best. In that offensive line is the catalyst. But I cowboy offense. And I I I believe that that will be a big factor for the patriots in the game on Sunday whether or not they can actually get penetration. And get by that cowboys that improved cowboys' offensive line. With the front seven and create some havoc now it by giving -- different looks but by on occasion maybe taken that well planned opportunity to blitz. Were jam the box of them fall back in the coverage and and you know that's definitely being worked on by the patriots this week but I really feel that that's going to be the key to the football game on Sunday. How well the patriots defense. Can penetrate that that cowboy offense -- line and caused problems for Roma they can to slow down even a little bit. And you force the cowboys into some second and third and long situations. But I have to go over the top of the you can change the fences again. And put extra coverage back there you know and then and certainly get pressure with your front career or or or or whoever only they decide to rush then I I think that will that will tip but over the patriots favor without too much problem because I do think that while the cowboys defense is improving. We've seen their quickness especially over the last couple weeks. I do think that. The patriot offense will be able to move on the cowboys' defense I I think that they'll probably you know certainly while I think teams will look at what Cleveland did last week. To give the of the patriots a few problems. I think teams -- shall we going to play their game. And I think cowboy offense will on the via patriot offense will be able to move account would be Vince I certainly an account via patriots will be able to get into the 30s on the -- The question is can the patriots deviant hold the cowboy opens down keep them and say the team into the 20s. -- I think the general consensus after listening quite a bit but to the national perspective both on television and radio over the last couple of days. -- expert consensus is that we're going to get a 30 some in the 20s and then football game. And them in the majority of the people think that it will be the patriots in the 30s in the cowboys in the 20s. The spread I've noticed started it. Morning camp and I noticed this morning it's five and a half. So the that the early money is going on the wing with. Because the spread is jump the point point four hours in a five and a half point favorite. On the road. That's that's pretty significant means people think that oh overall. That the patriots are about a touchdown may be a little bit more better than the Dallas Cowboys. -- it's going to come down of the patriots defense at least slowing and confused in the cowboys' offense a few more times -- two times I'm sort of tending to think that this game is going to be a little closer than most people consider although -- respect of the five and a half I think actually is about right right now. I think that's about right I'm I'm angling myself more toward a 3124 or 31 to 27. Type of score for a and that's what I'm feeling now it's you know that's one thing at least right now here on Thursday. As -- that leads me to one night email question of the week for you. It's Thursday people so let's fire off the score predictions I know you've been waiting to do this all week this is the biggest game. In the NFL regular season to this point in time weeks six of the NFL and you've got to five an -- teams going at each other. For only the fifth time in league history. You're dying to get you to -- him here. So I'm not only do I want you. To give me your score prediction on Sunday able I want you to do is -- what you think -- this game will be decided. I just told you were I think it will be decided by the will be in the trenches between the patriots defense and the cowboys offensive line. That's where I think that's the decision the game decision will be -- is there another area of this team that you think. Will decide this turnovers field position patriots offense you know how they can exploit may be -- a guy like Roy Williams or or or Terrance Mathis in the defensive secondary. That's what I want to know from -- web radio at patriots dot com as the email address. You know what already but I repeated 40 anyway case your uninitiated the program here web radio -- patriots dot com. So fire up your score prediction in fire off if you got a decision to make if you've got 80 a definitive idea where you'd think this game hangs in the balance. On the football field. Tell me what you think that competitive imbalance might be 585437482 is the telephone number. Finally five point 37482 we do have a time to get to a game today is a podium today here in the program coming up in about five minutes will lump. Whether it's tailgating in the parking lot throwing the pigskin around -- just hang in in in watching the game on the tube it's all about football. And when you're not watching football -- playing football well I think we both know you're thinking football and all that can make you a little Hungary. Play from 20:26[20:26]" Red earlier today it was a this morning heavily it was five so it's increased by another half point which tells me in the money still moving the patriots way. A lot of people think the patriots will be able to jump ball over the Dallas Cowboys based on what is being said throughout the country so. You know the the action continues on this game in the notoriety and the interest continues on this game and -- graduate is whether you're patriots fan or cowboys -- the idea years to create some discourse and some conversation and I want to hear from you today web radio at patriots dot com. Who's going to win the game tell me what you think the game will be decided. What part of the football field will this game being decided. What facet of the football game will this game beat decided where's the make -- break area for your particular team. Web radio at patriots dot -- time to get your picks and and your thoughts on the game on Sunday in the meantime this is the tenth game over -- overall. That the Dallas Cowboys in the New England Patriots have -- the football field. After all these years. All these years patriots course -- 1960 Ellis cowboys. Began in 1960s well -- they were an expansion team in the NFL of course they came in with the old AFL for the merge in 1970. But this is the tenth time these two teams have ever faced each other. You think that would have been more over 48 years but really it hasn't been the cowboys' -- they decided seven to two advantage all time over the patriots Dallas won the first seven games the patriots have won the last two. Last game last time these two teams met we talked a little about this yesterday was in 2003 here at Gillette stadium in November of 2003 number 16 was the -- patriots pitched 12 nothing shut out. That -- The last time that the cowboys won it was in 1996 in 1996 and the cowboys won in Dallas which -- the last time these two teams met. In Dallas last two times. They've played here in New England here in Foxboro 2003 in the previous time before that was 1999 which was at 13 to six patriots win the two. That's wins. The last time they played in Dallas was the last and the cowboys won the game was 126 for the cowboys back on the some of the 15 1986 so it's been a while. Since cowboy fans a better chance to see the patriots. At Texas steady. Now that has really no bearing on what's going to happen on -- just a little history lesson four overall that these two teams even though you know they're studying up on each other there isn't a lot of familiarity here. There are some common threads with players who were teammates in college on both rosters medalist you guys and such would fact of the matter is is that the cowboys -- the team that everybody wanted to emulate everybody wanted to copy from the 1970s. And again late 80s right into the early 1990s when they were winning you know their three big Super Bowls in the 90s. Cowboys the team everybody wanted to copy cowboys were. And as I mentioned earlier may still be America's team overall with the like Jerry Jones or not. Patriots have become the team now in the two thousands. That everybody's trying to emulate everybody's trying to -- And probably -- just a little bit so you have the two most recent dynasties. In the National Football League facing off in addition respectable team for five you know. This is the clash of titans who have been with exactly what it is and on top of all of this you probably you have arguably. The two best teams in the NFL certainly within their respective conferences meeting on Sunday. And I'm not dispelling the the the Indianapolis Colts at all. -- we have regular emails listening to us and were colts fans you know and the colts will have every opportunity to prove their worthiness. Coming up on over the fourth on the patriots go to the appreciate and so that that spot that spot will will deal with that another day. But fact is that the cowboys -- to be head and shoulders above everybody else right now on the NFC. And he can certainly make an argument for the pay it patriots being the favorite in the AFC. So yes in week six this could make a Super Bowl preview. It could. Be a Super Bowl preview. The the fact. I'm looking here says that we actually have some cowboys players that might have or to play against patriotism when I'm looking through. Some of the Dallas notes that have been able to go on wanted this week but I don't think that's entirely. At the other few players are on the cowboys team that have actually faced the patriots from either 2001 or two or 19 under 2003 most likely. They can you -- Greg Ellis Ken Hamlin Anthony Henry Terence Newman played in the 2003 game Terrell Owens obviously put against the patriots in the Super Bowl. Roy Williams Jason -- so there are a few cowboys they have faced the patriots are imported -- village it was talked to Craig in South Carolina recruit you don't"

Play from 25:49[25:49]" I don't know group -- Well US for fans feelings on this game yup you first Dallas as neat. Balance on offense. In order to sustain drives that is they're running instincts they haven't they these events and well balances. I'll let the well look at it all without players that I fear on there -- that we shut down Whitney there all flipped Ortiz once again the at all and the witnesses demanded. You know it publicity and you know witnessed -- Beckett and -- very quietly. You know renowned in the league I don't think and -- player but he's definitely Ramos playmaker as. Tell -- deep sense. Basically -- secondary that success of this secondary is largely a reaction because they've gotten a decent match. Pass -- on teams. There's secondary is not quick they're not great and it banged up. Roy Williams. That the scariest thing about -- entire game. Because I am I just really -- as Roy Williams you know pull in the old horse collar on. I'm Randy and just take him out and at developing that bothers me about the game I'm completely confident there's going to be at least a 14 point."

Play from 27:31[27:31]" While aren't you know your point about the cowboys secondary is an appropriate one because you're right a lot of times. Weaknesses in secondaries are masked by the fact that you were able to get a pass rush with -- front for your front four. So I think the cowboys definitely benefit by the quickness they have in their front seven overall and that allows their secondary to stick with the receiver just as -- just long enough to be able to break on the ball and make a play so."

Play from 27:54[27:54]" If anybody can exploit that -- definitely villain and the patriots I mean between them. Personnel -- he they have on their run blocking and in their task protection yes. I'm sorry I am just looking for wet and rainy and you know just have a very good game and I think our passing game has -- to -- our running game."

Play from 28:17[28:17]" Yeah I would I would agree with that I think the passing will set it up and I also believe that the the patriots can take a lot of the quickness out of the cowboys front seven by. Digging in dunking in setting a mid range opportunities just to space them out a little bit. Not allow them to get their different substitution package in the game and then when they do you know jam maligned hit him over the top."

Play from 28:38[28:38]" Yeah -- I definitely think we're going to be running a lot of misdirection you know to try to compensate -- Words yet but they're speed drills they've run their blitzing and whatnot I just don't think there's anyway analysis -- it would keep us under 30 points and quite frankly I don't think they'll ever going to -- 20."

Play from 29:01[29:01]" So give me the score than Greg"

Play from 29:04[29:04]" I think -- England 37 Dallas"

Play from 29:09[29:09]" 3717 -- right. Greg's on the record thanks --"

Play from 29:17[29:17]" And and Gary blows you up lovingly Greg. Lovingly we're going to get the bill that's exactly right all right web radio -- patriots dot com's send us your score prediction your thoughts on the game. Do it now will get to it that we hear from coach Belichick. -- moving right along here and in this situation stuff today. More or so."
