Play from 0:30[0:30]" It welcome inside the playbook for row week. Number nine and as the pats and the Indy colts get set to do. Battle in the game that we've all been waiting for this entire offseason move or I'm John -- we will humans and patriots play book yet again. Our Wednesday program this week we deal with that -- a little email question of the day. Which will get to a just couple moments we will also have what you hear in the press conference and conference calls with the Bill Belichick and Tom Brady in just a little bit and yesterday Jim -- from CBS sports joined this year inside the playbook and had a chance to you know basically just chat with you patriots that anybody else who's listening along but what we also wanted to do for it would bring you that the total context of that conference call. Because of Phil Simms who course is -- broadcast partner will be working the game in Indianapolis on Sunday with GM -- and support that as was. Bill -- And in listening to some of the conference call this or already myself coach calorie obviously it's reported things to say about running up the score which of course is a major topic of discussion not only here but in. A lot of different areas of the country when it comes to discussing. On the New England Patriots present time so. Ralston going to bring you that entire conference call. With Jim -- fills him in bill cower in the second or over program day so that's what we have on the docket for you tomorrow show which on Thursday we normally -- for your game predictions so if you want to fire one off today you can but normally we get that on Thursday night and going to specific question that I. Reload like to get some feedback from -- on base -- hold on of that book just couple moments but tomorrow get inside the patriot locker room watching here from the players on -- out on the practice field today in full pads beginning their actual game preparation for Sunday. All the good news is that according to two sources now one of them being. Mike reached from the Boston Globe the Benjamin Watson is back out on the field today for the patriots which is announced that's outstanding news. He did not want to be limited two too much of an extent. Yeah absolutely so with Watson's ability to stretch the field on the inside that just adds another tremendous weapon the patriots arsenal you know last couple weeks that he's been out they've been -- more than short -- to the -- with a guy you know like Wes Welker in in Welker did take a pounding last week it we talked about that last week. Having watched him back in the fold optics -- that physical pressure awful Welker is huge. Absolutely huge that is a big bonus for the patriots so that part is good. There were a couple of absences out on the field there today during the least the media push the practice calm. Talking Samuel was nowhere to be found so that may be cause for a little bit concerned but we will get the updated injury report just around 4 O'Clock eastern time this afternoon. We don't get it for you here inside -- before we leave the program today well you need to do 4 PM eastern -- which is basically again. Reload your browser -- refresher browser you know patriots dot com and they'll have an up four and so it will appear magically like that one of the things that I did want to talk about that it. I'm asked to do it affected you know we have been looking forward to this matchup well here I don't like a week has gone by we've done eight weeks now ships can't. Eight weeks -- Actually started after the first game so there's the eight week of the program that we've that we've done that you support in obviously our fingers in his earlier this season's seventh year doing a book. -- we we we we've gotten into a lot of different things and I don't think they'll -- a week has gone by this season that we haven't at least mentioned it. This game colts patriots at least once -- twice. That's how prevalent it has been on everybody's mind at the POW guys were just talking about. You've been talking about it with your argument talking about what you uncles you've been you know undoubtedly craving more information will be I'll probably do that going to do in fact tonight here we go get the -- ready Jason. We do in the all my Chileans -- radio tonight from two to six -- and so. That you know Jason Smith so will be talked about that all the other guy out there. On the ESPN radio affiliate -- you'll be on the program tonight com. From two to six yes without sleep that's correct but oh we talk about that and it's because that's what everybody wants to talk about. I'll take a little bit of a different -- however with this matchup today from the aspect of historical. Perspective it got me thinking over the course last year where do you think. Colts and patriots where do you think they stand in terms of the overall history of rivalries in the -- You know -- it seems like it's been so intense over the last few years that we've forgotten. And I know that I had to remind myself to this by just kind of look at the the record book but these two teams used to be divisional rivals where they would play each other twice a year. And they played each other twice a year through willow what 2001 of the last season they played each other twice a year and then that'd be NFL we format it into the current divisional setup that we now have. Tandem the colts moved onto their division the patriots -- in the AFC east. Played once you know three twice in 4 twice in 5. And of course twice last year become the regular season game in -- the impeach him for not like they haven't faced each other twice this season that haven't done as divisional rivals. Since 2001 season. I would ask you now that we have this. Eight no patriots team against the seven locals. It's the first time by the way in the 88 year history we we touched on this briefly yesterday and wanted to point -- at least Pacific league -- in the -- rather significant. This is the first time in the 88 year history of the NFL -- two undefeated teams with seven or more wins have faced each other. Coach from our friends at the Elias sports bureau. First time in 88 years of NFL history that two teams at least seven and oh. If faced each -- I think that's remarkable I think that underscores why Jim -- told us yesterday this game Sunday could it be in fact. One of the greatest regular season games ever played. In the NFL that's how big this game isn't yet -- all of burst the bubble on this -- I mean. The game doesn't really mean anything in the overall pantheon of the season other than the winner. It's still undefeated the winner still has a I guess quote unquote chance of going undefeated in -- tying or or or surpassing the 72 dolphins. And the winner gets a leg up in the home field advantage rates within the AFC and that's it. There's no championships to be why I heard rich Eisen on NFL network or would they say that this is really their -- this this week is Super Bowl 41 and a half. Okay you know what I'll I'll actually buy some of that right. Because I think it's pretty clear that these two teams are the two best teams in the league thus far this season. Only five previous instances in which undefeated teams with five or more wins have faced each other of course we know that's already happened once. This year when the 5 patriots took on the then five -- cowboys. But last month or actually earlier this month -- 31 following and down. The patriots in fact that happened six times overall six times and have a history where teams at least five -- L has met each other during the regular season both teams had to be undefeated. And the -- involved in three of the previous six games. I think that's pretty cool a probable that. Where do you think the colts and patriots now ranks in terms of rivalries in the NFL when you think of NFL rivalries which. Which teams do you think. And where do you think the patriots and colts ranks -- where we're -- where does this match up rank in terms of overall rivalries. In the NFL is it is good as Redskins cowboys in the 70s and 80s. Is it is good yesterday anonymously by the giants and 49ers had a pretty good rivalry going there in the -- in the 80s 2 what was early 1990. What about the cowboys and 49ers in the 90s Wimbledon those teams battling for NFC supremacy much like the patriots and colts are doing right now in the AFC. How about the you know old Steelers -- in raiders right you know there's some really good rivalries in recent NFL history. And I'm curious to know where you'd think. Patriots colts ranks and is does this rivalry get better or does this rivalry. Tail off. Web radio at patriots dot com is email address today go until you get to -- today. Web radio -- patriots dot com you can also call the program like 58543. Somebody for 82 in the -- code Bible wait 5437482. And will be evident that phone call so I think in the interest -- it in big picture term where patriots colts. Ranks what makes this rivalry. What makes this a robbery in your mind is it because now I -- it and until last couple years. Patriots had dominated this rivalry -- now the colts have won the last three. When the AFC championship game 3834 wonder in the regular season in Foxboro twice over the 20 last year. Previous to that in 2005. On almost of the day November the seventh. 40 to 21 pound the patriots. Here in Foxborough is patted him. So that won the last three and I guess. You have to have both teams able to win a game at any given time in order truly have a rivalry and end. Up until the last three times they played negotiated question more than I was much of a rivalry but now the colts approach. Every bit the equal if not the superior team to the patriots based on the game. That they played last which of course counted most and that was the AFC championship game. Last January. Patriot -- big league it was in the game 383421 to three was the deficit COLT overcame I realize that probably it's sore spot many pats fans but. Yet difficult work you know credit where credit's due in that particular so overall then since 2001. These two teams have played nine times. Patriots that 16 the colts -- want to last. They played three times in the playoffs they were in the AFC championship game together in 2003 which patriots won 2414. They were in the 2004 AFC divisional playoff which paper won 20 to three. And the course last -- they have -- which game which -- won by 30 before. But overall in this series patriots have dominated 43 wins to 27. So this is the 71 meeting all time between the patriots and colts franchises. Patriots leading real World Series but the colts winning and winning a significant game recently. In the series. What do you think it stacks up. How does it stack up in your mind what is a goal gives the best rivalries that you know of in the NFL and can -- sustain. Based on the personalities players the coaches the front office people -- I would tell you that I think that this rivalry has some legs to -- and I'm glad that the NFL has. A rivalry like -- I miss the days the good old days of the cowboys and Redskins. Back in the 70s and into the early 80s I really missed those triple -- because the coaches sort of personified that rivalry with. Tom Landry in tandem. George Allen of course later Joe -- but those players honestly did not like each other they did you know I think there's -- mutual respect your between pets in the cold but do you need. Dislike in order to have a true rivalry. Do you need to hatred you know sometimes they can do -- and then. Some don't I don't think it necessarily in this particular case I don't think you need that because the other team you know is every bit your equal. -- this as a two way street the same -- the colts for the colts as well here. The cowboy redskin rivalry in my establish a little different because there was actual bitterness on the field. Now that the raiders and ended the Steelers. When they were involved in the late 70s an in into the 80s lawyer to actually mostly in the 1970s I think you had a similar situation. To what you have right now. Between the patriots in the calls it two teams are pretty good that would just kind of like exchange punches in Kuwait have physical play yes. Hatred I don't know. I mean you know it was easy to eight you know the raiders everybody in the raiders because they you know they. Some -- by the in the old al Davis and they had some some guys that you know we're just you know blue collar guys. Steelers you know ahead. They had to show that with Bradshaw on Stallworth and you know in an end of Franco Harris and and they had a showtime guys. At least of that era so little different but I -- that the colts and patriots at present time deserve to be mentioned. In the same breath with some of these robberies I don't know ranks number one I don't know ranks number five -- ranks number ten. But I would tell you that now that both teams are capable of winning this game that this. In and of itself personifies what -- rivalry in the professional ranks especially with -- in the NFL should be. I just I'm constantly amazed though how roles were reversed I mean. Back in 20032004 it was a way around it was you know the the -- for the unproven entity or unproven quantity and and you know bill -- in his you know bang in his fist on the desk in the press box and let you know last year -- was yeah a little of it was last year two years ago excuse me two years ago. Pounded on the desk in in in in just pray in the one of his players you know breaks Doug Flutie legs I mean we all heard. He but he was in the press box heard it. And how you know few years -- the patriots were personified as the good guys and now the colts are being thought of as the good guys and the patrons thought as the bad guys. Because they what because they beat up on people because day you know with -- spike hey -- I don't you know. But it just amazing how things turn it can turn it it almost literally a moment's notice in terms of perception. On the that's truly remarkable. Just kind of -- that you know all you really get -- plant a seed in the just keep. They admit this keep statement is keeping it in it's going to grow. -- gonna grow so anyway we we got bad for you today it's not like your thoughts on whether -- not. You think the patriots colts is a rivalry that ranks up there now with some of the best rivalries in the NFL based on some of the fact that already given year so leads -- the email web radio. At patriots dot com 5 wait 5437482 that's the telephone number if you got some other thought that you'd like to bomb. Pass along or if you have some questions comments criticisms concerns you can do so via email if you want to talk a little bit more about the the topic of running up the score which has been prevalent throughout the week and will continue to be prevalent throughout the week and you haven't had a chance to get your two cents worth in on that. There is still time for you to do that as well we will take your email and we'll talk about. In particular get this from -- and Maryland citizen toward the tail end of them PFW -- as anyone addressed to Mike Ditka the fact that 1985 bears ran up the score on the pats in the Super Bowl when it was obvious that they were winning. Even the fridge the touchdown which will remember that. -- that's a legitimate question. It's a legitimate question. It's it's it's not. Running up the score. Analysts to me there's taunting involved number one that's no way that you really know that it's blatant. Have you score in an instance where he could be conceived when it was or the guy slam when you face there's a little -- little -- or whatever frog. I could see that being running up score. It's not knowing the score at the deepest can't stop that day the patriots couldn't stop anybody and they will realize that so I don't know necessarily that it was running up the score. Maybe a little bit but I had you know I mean -- And William Perry was a part of that offense in blocking situations for Walter Payton. So to say that you know they gave him the ball on purpose just to run up the score I don't know that you'd ever get Mike Ditka to really admit to that. Well that's you know it's an interesting point nevertheless. Brian ends August Massachusetts Sunday it was game four of the World Series I left the game to catch the baseball game. I think most people lift early to watch the game can't wait for the in this week in I think it's crazy that the -- four and a half point favorites in Indy actually the last red -- so was five so apparently the money is still coming in on the patriots kids which I think it's it's crazy. I'm sure the -- 11 I heard an interview done earlier today. On ESPN radio Mike goalie can Mike Greenberg interviewed like free of the Indianapolis Colts -- you managed that this morning not but obviously -- with them you know great interest and personable having known a little bit about Dwight -- from his days Syracuse good guy personable guy humble guy. Great football player he's one of those edge rusher that. You know in the past patriots have had real problems with you know -- List Jason Taylor -- Aaron Schobel and and certainly Dwight Freeney all in the same type of class vacation in terms of edge rusher. Which is given -- to open -- troubled past. Well afridi was most complimentary of the patriots as you might expect him to -- evil soul went on to say that you know the fact that the patriots are a favorite. Over the colts when the -- for the defending champs they're undefeated just like the pants arguably their better. Than they were a year ago certainly their better this time years compared to this time a year ago. And that they're a five point underdog at home and -- doesn't bother me in -- links to set I completely understand why. The thought process is for the patriots what it is. Whether -- people the way the roll over people what he said we -- look at the video -- today that is going to be a real challenge for a first ball to be able to get to Tom -- in time because the offensive line is playing well enough. Second will be able to guard all their receivers. It's just it's going to be difficult he said you know they're going to get some on us we hope he gets among them. We expect an absolute knock down drag out and I am basically paraphrasing what he had in the interview. But he is the thing that probably was it didn't bother him that the patriots were a favorite in Indianapolis and Bob. I happen to think that that's not quite the case -- every one in the locker room Tony Dungy is not the raw rock kind of guy that a lot of coaches are not even really the kind of coach I think the Bill Belichick is. But Tony Dungy the kind of guy I think that you know what he doesn't say. Carrey's real weight. And I think that above anything else will cause Indianapolis to be self motivated for Sunday's game. About it that's kind of -- look at it. Com Brian Suggs is he -- 30 equals 24 fired off his score prediction which which you can will get most of those tomorrow but it's a five point -- the -- money. Started out at four and a half and is now at five in the early money last I looked early money going on the patriots. People think -- gonna win this football and in earlier that the of the guys you know at least couple don't think he could be anywhere from ten to 14 points. I don't know if you think this homer radio or nobly -- of your colts fan. And you think that the -- can actually slow down. In the patriots authors Percival I'd like to -- empirical spent have you seen the patriots play. I would also point out second -- that that the patriots all of the -- the patriots faced last week Washington was ranked fourth. Overall in the NFL going in terms of total yards points Letterman for and they hung half a hundred -- The colts the fans I believe in an obstacle Stevens is as good as it has been in a long time. Statistically speaking -- Stevens -- also this I believe this week ranks fourth. In total the -- in the NFL just glance at the numbers this morning but I believe that's where they felt. So it's pretty good defense yes statistically. It's not a bit of the Washington was going in the last week. In the patriot put 52 on 52 on now. On the -- so. And I'll tell you look at the cold but it's -- number one in. Thing in particular that does concern me from an Indianapolis perspective and the fact is that the colts -- and allows opponents. To complete 46% of their third down chances 46%. Now that's not a good number if you look at it from deepens out of football not a good number goal for the -- will be the first. So with the patriots the office that they have in the colts having a penchant for giving up on third down you know. I wouldn't be at all surprised of the papers do something along lines of a controlled. Attack with a -- with control passing game mix in a little run keep the ball away play a little keep away from Peyton Manning and the colts. Try to grind out some 101112 play drive that can take of anywhere from four to six or seven minutes on the clock. And captured in. Some model -- didn't quite work out that way as I'm sure that the local Stevens will stiffen on occasion. But you know don't be surprised to -- that I think you might see that from both angel -- both teams try to play a little people. Mean obviously did work Washington. It worked well Washington anyway even though. They said going into the game that was one of the things last week if they wanted to do try to keep the ball on the hands of Tom Brady of the patriots offense. That's the big. You might see both teams currently keep which is why couldn't care you know in them becoming a situation last in the as the bull wins and so. Certainly adding up to be rather special is -- not. Yeah I think that you might agree that it one more here and then we're going to get to walk to a patriots coach Bill Belichick and it is. Thoughts on non preparations as spoke to members of the media just before practice began this afternoon this one comes from Damon in Atlanta. Says he's an ex patriots fan in Atlanta Falcons season took the yanks dances what happened at Jennifer from Chicago I've heard comments -- I can't answer that question for so you'll have to ask the -- W guys stand Gary from Syracuse is can you finally clear something up on me I thought I heard someone say that it is not illegal. The tape opposing coaches is always good to have from their Booth. Is -- true. This is true what is what Bill Belichick did more than infraction and cheating and at this is also true art of the coaches doing this. Are they'll just hypocrites in -- is was apart of bill. Milicic coached have you must have been part of the cheating also were we giving him a free pass on nobody's going to regress. Personal hearing nobody can prepare we definitely don't. That would call -- I don't I I believe that it is illegal to tape any opposing coach and get their signals. It may very well be that other teams have actually done it from their boots and pages were displayed about it because they did it from the sidelines. But as far as I'm concerned as far as I know and from what I've read it is illegal period to take opposing coaches that's my impression. So oh anyway I hope that. Someone answered your questions and captured dozens -- email in. And basically but that include. That bit of information forest web radio -- patriots dot com 5 wait 5437482. I'm John wrote inside the play -- that's your job now to patriots coach Bill Belichick from earlier today. Whenever it's turn -- at a"

Play from 26:53[26:53]" and -- enough. You know watch a lot of calls last couple days of course and editors so many things well the most impressive thing. Let us and that's. Defensively they don't give up any any big plays if any long runs Guzman along passes -- penalties. Does anything extra -- side of the ball that don't have sacks. All right turnovers -- formal. Very many penalties. -- and it it runs in the right at the top of the league all those categories they really make you earn everything and it's hard to get -- although. All these -- that six or. -- results there with wins their rankings all the production everything's very. Very impressive what they've done it really take care of the ball well. Any bad plays early on offense down defense and that's. Enough football that plays well -- plated for us. You know so they wait for us want to get ready for a lot of work to do them. -- are confident. Certainly Nadal preparation time we can get four for the colts that are just an outstanding job all around surface of the game. They're tough and extremely well right now. Big challenge forced there. I would says and I think date. They don't do anything different fundamental I think they do what is. -- the most Broxton and -- Can run the ball in play action can -- social -- so tight ends throws receivers backs. Appearance under an outside you know where you are they're probably -- somewhere else wherever you aren't that's where they're going to be so. You know everybody's that plays and -- concerned about -- Harrison. I create space inside when you start coming inside for the running game Clark and each person those doesn't pressure Payton and got problems outside appropriate match up problems everywhere and it's a question of where where they think -- most vulnerable -- it. And Gephardt. The he's up against them. While there's there's sin balls back from -- older and they use and different personnel groups they use a lot of two tight ends and one back. But they teach Jeter's neighbors Gonzales in the bank -- below that are receiver -- miserable at times. That's that might limit open victory zero times. -- us it's clear they can play pretty fortunately. -- they've they've had exquisite short area when there and there. -- to back groupings they make you know -- move the ball make plays and everything and that wrong to play action. And -- over the top. You know we've but I liked it appeared to find players all the players that are good. That are what. It is important but again it -- indifference that very fast -- it evolved they got a lot of penetration in the running game and Russian vessel they're fast like we talked about Washington and fast but. They're faster up front math doesn't -- restraining. So they're create a lot of they had on the edges off them Astros in the running game. But I'm Salina can't really get from getting covered up in the country of the field in the news on. Quarterback gets pressure runner past conduct and the pursue its. There they do a good job Sanders is that he's he's outstanding. Great range terrific tackler promoter they'll Harden got causes a lot of faults turnovers gets sent all players. That the other guys don't get their first it was a lot of times they do so. They're they're good they're good all around. Quality -- state. Centers that is that's what those. All want to go to -- defense than Jennings would come and then and marlin Jackson was going to play nickel corner. That's generally the way to do it and yes river talking about that on Sunday. You know that I a lot of change -- offense the two main people don't know or are you don't all's well. Defensively got a -- and linebackers quarters -- the fundamentally they'd play this and it's. You know he watched last year's tapes and folks with this year's places. It's hard to tell you know this is this year this last year if you really look and say okay hysterical -- you go. But you know you watch the -- you watch execution -- you. -- June -- Hagler and there. You know it's hard to tell it really is it's hard to tell you know the corners. Hayden Jackson Jackson played -- here not as much but it warms up the he just you know there -- at its heart -- and that is fill those innings and yes. Object you know whatever -- has -- about just we're just trying to win games. Trying to coach attainment of but I help the team and put out but once again that's all. Let them they're all the other strokes on -- points down. -- how impressed are you want your team. I'm not sure about would have in the doesn't look at Portland -- we're focused on. Our tests on -- an -- I would have the best. Some other game we down the road. A little while. So let alone but you know again I don't think last week or two weeks goes -- ought to do this and come down the the preparation of the two teams and now that the team's performance on the we've got some great games than in -- through the years outstanding organization from top upon great football team. Clearly got -- last three times. It would be more competitive -- that we've done in the past. Does that -- struck him. They look at her options and protect. In the same thing. Since you know since 2000. Not a -- I didn't. It would rather play good and I put it this isn't enough. Jimmy Johnson's you don't want you know one guy can't stop the running game one guy can't stop I think -- a lot of guys out there. I played I played good -- defense. Paul's lot of negative plays better that'll give up very many big plays they get along error himself that a lot of analysts also are below. There have been a good job. And it and it is so. And any other game or. All games it on the try to put her -- us it's. The week before so you always try to do what you know do this you can't there's always room for improvement on the outside and I. And that our mistakes everybody try to -- those following week and you know get letters. Things that I was. Look back on in previous weeks and different it and try to improve those extra putter and we evident this game. I hope that I couldn't. I'm going to help our team played better we played of their last time -- Dell Clark tight end -- trade but the lineup is Ottawa. Personnel third -- I you know I don't they move around a hard. New Orleans or is going to be a lot of times is what's doubt no doubt about those -- overseer but he does often -- And sometimes he winds up on the facts formation of three I want formation or but Clark and -- but terrorism went on ones and -- and -- on the -- they get some different looks on that. He's very arsenal player and he's smart he's fast catches the ball very well runs good routes so you can it was good receiver out this foot guy he's he's going to come off on scrimmage in the normal type of position. -- is effective blocker in the running game. Does it rank up there in the top 345 is it is go to state cowboys Redskins back in the 1970s and early 80s wants. Do you go back that far or maybe years you're not that far back a fan of the NFL and maybe this game is a rivalry and they do you think it is the best rivalry that you personally. Have ever been apart and if that's the case I want to hear from me today web radio -- patriots dot com it's a email -- far off quickly note when you know what that. Other Asian golf and Craig in Pennsylvania who says I do think of the colts who scored the patriots beat it but I do not think they're going to score will. Payton is good in the pocket but I'm sure bill by the way to bring pressure that. I think the pats win 4228 the key to Indies deepens as the latest in the play of Sanders he similar to the patriots Polamalu steelers' Polamalu but I feel a bit better the first time Brady faced Paul Maholm Pittsburgh years -- it was all over the field. Honest over the run force in the team and a third long needless to say they've put up thrashing on the net that day. Later in the playoffs or Brady used Alamos aggressiveness against him sucking -- plate -- When people over the top of him I don't Pittsburgh -- run the Tampa two but I think standards aggressiveness will be used against him. Suffice it to say your Craig that youth agencies Sanders back in coverage they're going to run they seem cheap into the box they're going to throw pretty simple has been the past that I really want to popped up my chest and boast that Brady has always been better than Payton and he finally -- the receivers to prove it. We have seen receivers lead the patriots for big money -- that really put up the numbers that respected them patent Gibbons branch. I feel ready made those receivers look better than they actually work. Now the question. He believed Payton has had the luxury of great receivers all the time -- these guys actually be just average receivers on the tapes as uniform -- become. No I think if your questions about the colts receivers Craig I think that he's had. I think he's a great receiver from the get go. Anyway you can say -- and Reggie Wayne or not great receivers they are Dallas Clark and become an agreement tight end. You know in the NFL certainly -- ability to get them the ball where they want to win they want it is a huge reason behind them being talented receivers that they are but it goes hand in hand those guys' ability to get open. So Payton can get them is also a huge reason behind I don't know that most guys would necessarily be clean receivers plain Vanilla receivers. If they were another team -- in the -- I think certainly it just depends on the quarterback I think it'd be a little bit better receiver if there with New England. But let's say if they were -- Ron in that he or jets or Miami Dolphins right now. I don't think they would be quite the same receiver that is to be good I think they'd still make the other team a little bit better. But don't they certainly wouldn't have the impact of their having on their current teams so anyway you know. The fact that Brady has these top notch receivers now on the world -- what we you know a lot of us who follow the game for. Long long long long time. Have realized for the lesser years the bulk of these quarterbacks are good. Both of these quarterbacks have similarities both of these quarterbacks have differences but the both really good. And I've long maintained that if you put Manning in the Indian if you put -- in New England and you put Brady an Indy. Now much which effect I'd wager a guess to say nothing. Would change which point between other side. The end result is that that's to win a football -- either one of those guys quarterback so I think that's been on the best. Analogy I can use to the overall value and ability of both of these guys. I think arguing the semantics over which quarterback is actually better is flat out ridiculous -- mean -- but -- that. I just you know. I don't I think it's pointless because the ball good. Trite to say the Brady is you know a little bit at a demanding is is it's pointless -- pointless conversation. It's it is performing -- sister two -- state in this game but worth mentioning colts have the number one pass defects. I can't see Tom Brady having a clean game if there's any game this season Brady has multiple picks it's this one. I'm quite concerned that our running game is not good enough to at least help count tactical pass coverage. There's any point in this game of the patriots -- secure or completed the first quarter called seem to be extremely slow. At the beginning of every game well let me kind of attack that protecting its first of all yes the -- of that won't pass defense up until this point in time though which is really kind of this year the colts and headed good statistical past -- the ball on them so they didn't as as much. This year it's a little bit different. This year yet says that with Sanders in there and relatively healthy but certainly he makes a world of difference for the team overall defensively. Another holding opponents to 165 yards per game which I think is near -- at number one number two in the league statistically speaking I do believe however that the patriots running game. Is good enough. -- any pass coverage because when you include the running game in that you also have concluded the dump up to the running backs in Kevin -- as one of the best there is that. Wheels Laurence Maroney get involved with a little bit last week. So saying the patriots running game isn't good enough to count Erik Cole's pass coverage I don't think it's quite an accurate statement. I can understand maybe why you might think that because statistically. The numbers don't seem to be there but I think it's largely because the patrons passing offense has just been allowing everybody in the running game pales by comparison. I would agree to a deal that or is that yes I think that the patriots should do everything they can't put pedal to metal early in the game. Yes the colts are somewhat slow getting out of the gate. Least by my impression they've outscored opponents 37 to 27 this year in the first quarter not terrible but not great. What do the patriots 75 to seven I believe it is in the first quarter. The -- as the colts generally a turn it on in the third quarter that's been their best quarter of the year. That outscored opponents 7221. So yeah first quarter start big start of the pets. Very important in the overall success this game get that crowd out of the game as quickly as you can. I think that the you'll probably be in good shape but -- of the colts plane from from behind. And if you have a cold playing from behind in this game that you want to make them more one dimensional and I think that's really what you want to do. -- that -- the deep and to be able to have to know and for the most part what's coming at them. Brian writes in places and curious what the patriots would be a four and a half point favorite the game is an Indy colts defending Super Bowl champs and Peyton Manning's two quarterback. It look at talk about the slow early Brian if you missed it reason patriots four point favorites because the money. Is going on patriots. You know the guys in Vegas did -- take you know look at the relative strengths and weaknesses of the two teams of any two teams from the set -- going in. Based in my you know not -- of how you know sports books go out and help -- he set odds but honestly. They do it because they have a sense that's with a money's going. And if they had made the colts. You know even a pickup game morrow or slight favorite I guarantee the money would have been pouring -- on the patriots is because the perception is that the patriots. You know may be running up the score if they are the perception is out -- that they're doing it. And I think the people also realize the patriots offense is something rather extraordinary this season. I mean extraordinary we're talking about all time NFL extraordinary. Yes the -- for the Super Bowl champs yes Peyton Manning is the quarterback though but they don't block and tackle. -- doesn't block and tackle. So they'll they'll be in a race where they are probably going to be forced to out score the patriots in this game in order have a chance to win the game. I think that the problem probably capable of doing it to be honest with. The a lot of it depends on how well the patriots defense. Matches up this time of the colts offense and -- here's where I think the real difference in this game Iowa. -- mind now that the colts have won three straight against pets. Don't you think about probably sticking somewhere in the -- Bill Belichick. And or dean Pease the defensive coordinator and or guys like Richard Seymour Tedy Bruschi and Mike Vrabel and Rodney Harrison just to name a few. And -- of their first and arguably biggest move of the offseason to address that the fans. But coughed up that 21 to three lead. In the AFC championship game last year and so they went out and found a guy like a Davis Thomas. To fulfill a need to make them a little bit not only bigger but also stronger and faster. In what we term was an aging line backing core a year ago sure absolutely that's the biggest reason. And of course the receivers and everybody else they came after the Thomas was the first. That was the first move the patriots had to make in order to address making themselves better based on what the colts did to them last year. So when you take when he had Thomas into the mix and you have a healthy Hairston and or in ala Harrison -- helping Seymour back -- the full okay. Don't think for a minute of the patriots will be -- the test try to slow down cold this time and I elderly think that will be with the difference of this game will law. Patriots will make a stop with a -- that will force a turnover somewhere. All they need is. 11 or two or maybe both of those things will happen when they needed to happen on Sunday. In order to give them just a movement a enough margin to win again that's personally what I. Reynolds that's what's going on on Ellis Hobbs although he's a great returner of the is going to be huge year for him but he's at this point. I don't know why you even say that I mean guy's got a 108 yard kickoff return -- How was that disappointing I mean maybe you're talking but in terms of defensive backs. Are -- doing an adequate job but I think the patriots also healthier. In the secondary -- they've been in quite some time so there's less reliance on him playing every snap of the football. I think -- holidays. You just got more bodies back there you're able to throw in fresh guys and I think you'll -- playing him on Sunday you money was -- make a player to. Our topic of conversation but it email question -- has to do rivalries overall in the NFL and where you'd think patriots colts. Ranks personable is patriots colts the president today NFL rivalry. Is there another one coming into the right now that ranks up there. With the patriots and the colts as things presently standing amongst the 32 teams in the league. And number two. If it does. Witnessed this what does this rivalry rank way what is it good does it is that there was some of the great ones of years gone by cowboys Redskins raiders Steelers in the -- 40 niners. Giants and 49ers giants and jets what what what is it what does rank. There's -- belong up there in the pantheon of great rivalries great battles great teams in the NFL history. I think by the very fact alone that this is the first time in the 88 years of the -- as we opened up what this number today. -- in the first on the show I think by the fact it is the first time in the 88 year history of the NFL that you've had two teams at least seven NL. Meet each other in the regular season. That puts this one right up there at the top. Can't wait. You know that we all kind of a share that and so it's our job to kind of hype it up and talk about a little bit and get your response to in and get your thoughts on this Brian says I'm only 21 years old but since I've been watching football I think the -- cold from the number two. Rivalries since I've been watching football I'd have to say that raiders Broncos. But the biggest -- it brown that's actually a good recent day rivalry it seemed like you know the especially I would say since the in early to mid 80s and the Connecticut of the of the 90s and now even entry into the the the new decade new century. Raiders and Broncos in the AFC west. Have been a passionate rivalry it's been a little -- one sided plates -- maybe it's taken a little of the luster off that. But it always did seem like those two teams tried to decide things in the division there's no doubt about that. So that's actually a good suggestion he says I can't wait for this weekend's game two -- quarterbacks in the league the two best teams undoubtedly that's the case. And I'm sure that the a lot of people -- on the entire league not just fans in Indianapolis from the wing in the feel the same way this one this email comes from Ben -- nova Scotia they've been howry. So I can't believe that I actually which having shared opinion with thread kirch. But I completely agree with his comments yesterday regarding the -- regards to the -- patriot I too. Felt no anger toward the bears for the simple fact that they were the superior team and it was their job to show. I have been a pats fan for over 25 years and we have suffered some big losses over the years and now we're giving. To me it's simple if your ownership group does not feel compelled to put a competitive team on the field it is not the other team responsibility to take pity on them. This is professional sports these athletes are paid to perform at the highest level at all. Now regards to the colts as anyone else terrified of commenting is going to dismantle Hobbs. He plays so far off the receiver that even Eric the leg in his fantasy league could get open. Little piece of W reference there. I hope that if given the opportunity we do everything we -- to demoralize the coach and secure the -- colts -- secure vital home field advantage keep the -- spread the true what's the patriots then. In nova Scotia the expense. First on terms of running up the score you know you're right on. You're absolutely right on and I think people that are saying that you know the patriots are. Somehow displaying a lack of class or sportsmanship whatever the case may be. Just they're the revisionist historians is what they are either that are that just plain stupid. You only have to go back do what 20042003 to on the colts. Doing the very same thing the patriots are doing now 1985 bears great example. Anybody get really upset with the bears for crunching the patriots 46 to ten -- crunching people left and right would arguably the greatest deep sensible time. No what about the 2000 or 1999 rams the quote unquote greatest show on turf. They put up some big numbers it but he criticized -- running up the score not to this extent. And so now the patriots are accused of running up the -- why why why. Because there's a perceived and data that you know or trying to get revenge on the rest totally because the -- spike get issue it's that's not all. Mean like I said earlier there's no doubt that. That little spell that we went through there is gonna serve as a great motivated for this team that is now you calling their integrity into question. You're saying that you know for whatever reason. You know they took an unfair advantage this year and maybe maybe even tainted their Super -- years of previous years and it just that's not going to set -- anybody in that locker room now what you've done as you you've you've pissed off the giant as what you've done you've made him mad. In this is the way the giant is going to treat you when you make him mad. This is what you had in now. Joe -- you know basically. Saying what we should be a big under the underdog going in the last week's game. Tom Brady wasn't buying an event he knew that the Redskins will be somewhat upset of the patriots still went out did what they had the know. And they hope that the two points that he too. Any two points on the NFL's number four rated defense last. Oh and by the way the colts are also rated number four in the -- totally events this week. -- one other -- that want to bring up as we get off to a Tom Brady now for him bomb. Brady's touchdown interception ratio of the season 15 to one. At 30 touchdown passes and two count on to. Interceptions all season long. By the way via NFL record touchdown to interception ratio over full season -- by the won only Payton man. In this was three years ago when he of the 49 touchdown season in with 210 interceptions so when my new math. That's four point 921. Brady right now is 1521. We got to play our best game. I think there is excited -- Yeah he's a great playmaker 13 and I think he he brings a great level of consistency and dependability. But it defense tackle so well is. He's obviously a leader you know he's not a game I think he's he's able to make up for. He's able to make up for for a lot of things happened on the fans. Is he doesn't bite on -- actually he always seems to -- talk about players that. Yes and he's one of those guys that always is guessing right it's not that he's -- and he just he's very instinctive and he's always in the right place great players -- best safeties we've played. Great tackler. And and got a group of guys and I think they really feel about. -- well -- he's very consistent that's that's one great aspect of his coaching legacies. Proven over the last eight weeks that we can play it pretty level ourselves you know two undefeated teams and obviously with the history of these teams and makes for a great match and a like I say it's going to be a long week there's going to be it short week to hand. Thank you look back on our games they've always structure career and you look at. Once -- probably stand you know -- time political it's always an exciting game for all players coaches this. You know when your plan your playing the best. -- Randy moss. Vegas it's I don't know that's a good question. Yeah yeah maybe tomorrow if act."

Play from 1:20:17[1:20:17]" Pick your quarterback Tom Brady -- members of the media just short while ago at Gillette stadium and some good comments that are on them. I'm on the match up well with the -- Who can blame him for Wanda yeah there'd be a blowout I mean you know he's professionally as Friday he wants his team to win he wants to -- all cylinders. You know he's had done to him in reverse so why wouldn't he want to expect something like that why wouldn't you want to go after some like that I think bad just personifies the entire. Mindset of this team right now I mean you know these guys aren't really look at the -- the scoreboard they're going out there and they're playing. From start to finish from whistle blown the whistle blow. If they -- have a hundred on somebody when they shut somebody out Wheldon you know -- Not their fault by the way a couple of milestones that Thomas approaching case you were not aware with 30 touchdown passes Tom needs one more touchdown pass to tie. -- parolees single season record 31 touchdown passes which you sit back in 1964. He's one away and tying the Mark -- away from setting new single season touchdown passing Mark for the patriots. The other number I want to bring out was. -- him point oh he needs six more passing touchdowns six total to pass Steve -- going to become the patriots all time career leader. In touchdown passes -- had a 182 in his career he needs six more. Past grow and become all time touchdown thrower in patriots history so again. When it doesn't really seem like he's been around near as long -- some of the guys in patriots history when considered with the patriots history has been -- before this you know superbowl era -- just gives -- bit of an idea I think how welcome an impact he truly has had not only in the game but of the patriots as well. Email comes from Michael says I just I want to just say or tell the world -- patriots are the best and we are going to blow the colts out like we've been doing. Oh Brady gets hurt doing what he's paid to do been great but then just sitting down getting rusty that's foolish anybody who thinks that is a fool. Matter of fact the pats don't warmer out all walk naked on this trio or for that thank you for much Michael. Beautiful but -- get all kinds here thanks Michael appreciate that in in don't bother to tell us what you forms that we can look the other way Fred from earth says do you guys agree that the winner of this next pats colts game will go and not including the close -- to the team to have a shot at beating you know I think that they have. I think -- whoever survives this game definitely has a chance to go undefeated I don't know that they will. I still think that the patriots should they win this weekend have some games that can be considered some you know. Red flags Philly is one Baltimore's another. I don't know that in the -- would be put those two certainly standout I think is if you look at the rest of the schedule. At this point in time as far as the colts are concerned we touched on this just a little bit yesterday -- for -- but. If the colts beat the patriots they have next week. At San Diego which is. Going to be their toughest game the rest of the year following that. Following that I think that the -- would probably win out. So -- they've got one left the patriots arguably at Warner or two left that you consider to be. Significantly significantly challenging football games by the way he says I do not root for laundry but for players. Like Tom Sally I like talent foremost but also humility perseverance and hard work there's nothing I -- more than arrogance trash talk and he looked at me attitude. So I am a fan of Tom Brady and remained so even if traded. Okay you know what for that's fine and I I think that's a great attitude to have I actually wish more fans rooted for individuals as opposed teams laundry. But I think it's human nature to root for laundry because that laundry represents who we are and where we're from and were all very regional as to -- point of view. And so that's why I'm saying you know hey that's why you know or we have people here. The root for the patriots who previous to this year never rooted in would never have rooted for a guy like Randy martz. But they do now that you -- the patriot blue silver. So you know while I think it's great that you can do that ready to root for individuals the majority of the fans are not like Q. Sure that you probably realized."

Tandem -- that we of the week it rook below the link to a great article regarding running up the score by the patriots in the whiners and keep complaining about it. I was embarrassed for ESPN after listening to money -- football pregame the other night. The large majority of the commentators sounded like such babies and after looking at this article Steve young is a total hypocrite. The meat and potatoes of it is that young was very down on the pats and set running up the score was tainting their accomplishments this season. I laughed out loud several times after reading this article what fraud. Most compelling excerpt is this. Finally young also got a commitment you know the 49ers treated woeful falcons during his tenure in San Francisco which is pretty much the same what you treat the water in your toilet bowl. He urged the scores of the San Francisco Atlanta series during young's tenure leading. The post Montana 49ers 198256 to 1741 victory in 199442 to 315 to 14. You know the mourners had -- 164 quarter points on the falcons and that 15 to 14 tuneup for the super bull run maybe it would have tarnished San Francisco's image so drastically. Interest thank you Josh and I appreciate that -- that article I actually glanced at it in hadn't had a chance to -- from start to finish -- the part of the argument that we're sort of making -- and that people like you are making for us here this week on the program. And there's so many things to talk about I guess what intrigues me of course we're excited -- what intrigues me how they bowl both teams will be used. Bigger opposition this week and how they vocal about trying to win the game and I think that the history has shown us. Initial media the TV analysts that -- they're both willing to do something different but especially the New England Patriots. So I can't wait to find out can't wait what's."

I think -- two guys that great respect for the game great knowledge of the game and he is still -- the players certainly. Respond -- probably for a big guy that you'll see a little bit more animated on the sidelines they had bill. It again I think it's you know I think these two teams are a little bit different this appointment watch Indianapolis the they've built this team through the draft where. You know it made -- look at this New England -- a lot of skill position rebuild through free agency and I think it is an interest in you know approach is that these two different coaches have taken organization pathetic but or both very very much. Look upon it the cream of the crop in the coach."

Play from 1:35:31[1:35:31]" that it tells them doctors say this you don't Tony Dungy. Both Jim and I have that was committee have -- games and you know -- confident talk stood cities. The calm and in. Talk does that -- that's exactly how he talks to his players in meetings we go of their practices. You'd never hear the coaches say anything in practice they talk you know very loan variable total -- the only person you goalie here at Indianapolis Colts practice is Dayton daily -- he's still have I want to do. And -- is dollars so different from -- attacks as Bill Belichick wants but for the super ball down in Houston. You know of course I knew the answer I think how would you describe your coaching style when he says I -- threw beer. And you know I tell people they better play better are all potential for a call from -- job. And that's kind of how he learned in the and its I don't know he's still exactly that same way but he has -- a different style of Tony Dungy and it. Dictated the way their players -- you'd see at all and I think that's why is that it's caught the attention of America over the years. Because even if you don't follow football. You conceded differences in the personality of the coaches of the teams that you want to see what's gonna happen. Your next question comes from talk duo with Hewitt picketing is going to regulated yeah upper lower or or bill a lot of the attention has gone to Tom Brady. And it -- receivers of the skilled players but the way what. Could you each talk about the offensive line what that means it's. Well probably update I'll say this that they always kept Bill Belichick has always. -- look at the good team well it's amazing I don't know cookout today it's for the better than me. But -- the head coach. I the first thing I'd do is make sure my office supply at least give all the skill got a chance because it just going to team -- they don't play well. And the patriots have drafted. They've moved players that it doubt I've been up there in years where they imploded substitute guys that during the game into mobile. Play from 1:38:39[1:38:39]" I concur with well it -- It -- in both. You know he was one that got this guys we have get to was wise that we played against them. Because he -- a very good job of orchestrate lines that you -- have a wanted to communicate it looks -- one I think that's why I think both these coaches understand recognizes that. You know I don't care if you run the ball more -- you have office like you can't do it starts right there with I think that both recognize that I think that's. I think part of --"

Play from 1:40:23[1:40:23]" Yeah you know I -- not a pathetic and I appreciate that it's a good question aspect. You know just because the game as much higher level of magnetism doesn't mean we can change. Take NFL rules we can only bring one game into a market that you actually by the direct TV package so it's it's not a rule at the end I was going to. There's going to ban that if they've been there for us this week you know who's to say. This certain situation when another network as a really good game they could go and as for the same things so 20 rules are rules he got to the by the no matter what the in no matter what the weakest."

Play from 1:40:58[1:40:58]" Which -- pre collegiate career. Your fellow with a good things that the consultant yeah or probably be missing that they don't but right direct the and what that little -- can't replace -- you know really going to be really you didn't they're missing in all likelihood the preview of yet another -- in the AFC title game. Probably missing a game that's going to be every bit as exciting at my score has what we had back in January and maybe they even -- open a couple -- more -- if that's possible that game you know was in the 30s. In the way New England going averaging 50 points a game here the last three weeks in -- the slowdown or Indianapolis you know slowdown. Having a look at that. The look at what Brady did in nets that championship game lecture with. Reche Caldwell at our guest the only outside and won't Troy brown on the spot it's critical that the picture for them I definitely think Indianapolis hasn't proved to on both sides also. You know. Yeah that's that's a great question gas though because either if you -- that you cannot obviously can't violate the rules he can't rewrite the rules but. You know the taxes and and the raiders is going bigger. Cigarette market I'm sure what were people is great as our game going to be at Indianapolis but now they're -- children he protects. There the going to miss one of the five highest rated television shows of the -- sports or otherwise. But you one thing the superbowl the effort to previous champ should come never trees going to be this game. Play from 1:43:02[1:43:02]" For information. Securities question -- Johnson made at the Boston Herald he's -- speculated that."

Play from 1:43:10[1:43:10]" And it does for bill and coach tower I'm just curious -- thoughts on the -- margin of victory this year and if you do you feel the path of violated any unwritten rules as far as run up the score."

Play from 1:43:23[1:43:23]" Coach okay law. I got a -- in my my opinion right now like -- I guess football team that plays with a tremendous sense of -- almost sure what their supporters of the it is -- of the addresses where -- You know the fact that you know you have -- you treat their players in the game with Mark in what they are that that's that's schools they. You know -- its decision I think it was that he -- why is that you know it's those guys computer in those situations. You know that that's his decision he has a right to do that and so I don't know group of players that is I think it -- this team right now planes like it tremendous sense of purpose of the field -- as a player that. You know outlook about you race it's Orosco -- he -- had very high level and coach's prerogative."

Play from 1:44:28[1:44:28]" It was -- Phil -- has some -- have hopefully we'll talk a little bit about during the game if -- if we do we have that opportunity courses can be beat to death between now and game time but did not play for coach to Bill Parcells they always. Definitely you know so I I coach I think that's probably immediately to actually focus on my -- worry about themselves and I have not seen a redskin game located in the mail hopefully today's sometime I I'm really yanks as the budget and you know a lot of coaches believe you don't worry about injuries you play your guys and you know if you you can't protect on the like well don't play over the preceding at all -- if you worried about it. So there's some issues there it is bringing him up some controversy. And I think it always feed it and just helping the New England Patriots they love controversy you know I look at. And gym they at -- bed beneath. I'm with Mike -- able pity Bruschi Rodney Harrison you know Tom Brady you'd aim at the thing that they be. I look forward to the battle. In -- willing to battle from start to finish and you gotta prove as the opposition that you -- in the fight that -- is that we really. It didn't know what they love they love the turmoil they like is that they like the action. My dad once said to me. You know be careful what you get the fight when -- fight somebody doesn't care about winning and losing just like the action you know be leery of those guys -- in the patriots. They love the action. And all this stuff that you read about everything that's gone this year I truly believe -- then go to the atmosphere that they love. Just a follow up on that so the whole spike gate -- elected there's a part of them I just want to say bleak view -- one -- of their accomplishments in the wake of that. In -- typical athletes I think in a -- our noses to I'm sure he gave -- team -- speeches in his career they don't respect. And this is the same thing it's just it's just some people up there. And it's amazing what athletes who will buy into because they're looking forward to. Because it. There's nothing better than us against the world -- issue is that yes I believe whatever you want to call back gate. Are they run that the score just -- a list is there are all issues that they put up there you go. It's us against bill though."

Play from 1:46:54[1:46:54]" I don't think there's any question. That what they're doing on the field is totally political what happened at the end that we won. Because all of us in the media took that opportunity to go back and review it somehow attach what happened there. With the spike gate episode all the buckle. And tried -- some of us took it so far as to say that this stained. There -- three championships they win all the no wonder they won because they cheated so now they've they've had their championships they've had their integrity. Call for the question. And maybe it's not something that's verbalize you know in and and -- in this sacred setting out although Rocco. A room or just the coach and his staff and 53 players made -- audience so that I have to be. Talked about but I think they've all internalized that. And I think that there afflicting -- punishment on a weekly basis with that right at their very core."

Play from 1:47:51[1:47:51]" Thanks very much work done. That you -- next question will come -- Richards with the Indianapolis to. And I pay attention to everything. Because I'm always afraid what I was going to ask a question about the game to. You know someone that ilk as critical what you recovered a bit this is available to the opening day ago Korea and I want to know -- I've only -- me. The thing with Tom Brady so I'll watch it closely and I like to see what they're doing physically both bubble. You know like to see the concept of the coaches are coming up -- that in how teams approach the element in the and I'm fascinated by it in say this too you know the NFL has changed people always says is it different when you played it down. In my answer was well -- really. Prolonged but it's changing because they're put more responsibility of the quarterbacks became just get more dynamic with the throwing and it throwing down the field which is exciting to that they this exciting for me as an analyst. -- these two quarterbacks are. A new generation of where more franchises being coaches are going to have to develop. And try and build these type of quarterbacks because it's that's what happened to Italy you know -- Green Bay paper -- 15. The -- go while we -- green -- got -- for a but I see -- somebody -- cycle. The only the next guy trying to beat Brady living if that the team developed an -- course improves a little bit but it detailed as there are so always excited -- they're playing in regards to the play in the play each other it's it's it's -- media like Tom Brady says. Play from 1:51:28[1:51:28]" In this game yes yes. Well I mean -- I accelerators quarterback is it compares to the quarterback in this series you want to go what people do with the I think if you look at these two feet he uses see what's your approach would be to stop. Get a kick off because you two oh -- shall hopefully that these guys field as well that what is you know those who bought standard although although he has -- but you're the only single coverage outside. If you take away a lot of agent if you look at the New England you know they got that that would go or say it was the second period. Quarterback is just really -- it that day he could be -- close in Italy or I mean back -- I. I mean just throw it into the windows that are not big you know the velocity the accuracy is all clear and you say what -- they always have -- of course not. Quarterback throw a lot like pitchers they have these was not quite you know it's just they can't get that rhythm work. Not just with so little bit you don't -- may downing parallel last week. Physically you know it took -- throw that you don't -- to make it ever make cells in. You don't look at Tom Brady last year to play all the times in Indianapolis he didn't throw the ball. Physically as well he's capable of the woods so you know I don't know there's so many great components it might just come down -- who. Which while others just physically have that great of day that could be the difference in the game that much."

Play from 1:54:18[1:54:18]" All right I'll say this so this week at least see a lot of people we talked a lot of people. I don't ever get that sense maybe a person here or there but generally here's what I get. Nobody will be to patriots isn't -- unbelievable and it's all they can talk about this Tom Brady. It's up to their tour and a touchdown passes in the spy game in all a I haven't -- I truly have not heard that. Maybe once or twice I don't know but what I usually here is what I said it's the greatness -- what they're platelet. And -- only been here. Much about the colts it's all about knowing patriots. Title here. I don't hear anything that's strong I think hates him too strong but if there's a good guy bad guy let up in this game you know I really think the -- would be New England. What with the this -- they're running up the score chatter that that everywhere out there today. -- interest -- the -- transformational because -- they won their first superbowl but 2001 season they weren't the patriots you know they were they they were like America's team loose fitting that they want they introduced they're they're always there wasn't a war.
