But don't you what is strange. Rubbed the top and everybody seems to be raiding the cowboys' coaching staff. He and the cowboys with a team that failed miserably. In the opening round of the playoffs this year and back cowboys have one playoff game since what 1986 I believe. But yet it's their coaches that are all being considered for head coaching jobs elsewhere you know so. So would you want to about the I mean I think it's -- maybe it's because they can't. I don't know with the guys that are our coaching the patriots right now only Josh mcdaniels is the one -- thought of it in a head coaching way and he came out very early in this process and he said you know what. Maybe he was adversely affected by Eric Mangini leaving one most everyone thought he was leaving may be a little those soon. And you know choose your favorite pro football's -- you probably going to find out about it -- it's right at the top of the at -- of this is a story. The woman is identified in court records -- his were shall Washington of Fort Lauderdale 35 years old. She filed for and was granted protection against moss she alleged that he committed battery against her this injunction in Broward county Florida it is up now for a court hearing a court date on January the 28. This was being reported by European with in the last fifteen minutes yourself. So there -- court date set although there have been no a repeat. No charges filed in this particular instance he's just up for a hearing. On January the 28 according to -- Cornelius -- no criminal charges have been. Moss didn't really give any details of this alleged incidents may have taken place saying he was restricted by the legal case moss said that the woman was a friend for the past 1011 years and that she asked for six figures for what moss that was an accident in which she was hurt. -- provide any details about his alleged -- but he says whatever allegations were made their faults. He said -- last couple -- days he's been fighting against threats of going public with this if you didn't pay X amount of dollars. And apparently he's left it to his legal you know attorneys is attorneys to to handle. And that's what the story came out and that's what you responded today his quote was this young lady by no means is -- I did not hurt her. So -- what you hear from Randy Moss the patriots wide receiver all pro wide receiver earlier today at Gillette stadium in regards to these allegations."

[9:13]" You know before people rush quick to judgment I think you need to find out the facts about really was don't know one this young lady by no means is her I didn't hurt her. You know because I think that what I heard was -- really don't know the whole story. -- of what's been -- all I know Islam supposedly -- battery or whatever maybe that. Up physically -- woman well I want to make them clear. In my whole entire life for live in thirty years of never put my hand of one woman physically or any or any angry manner so. This battery that they're talking about I guess for the legal or illegal that point there has to be something it though like a hit I don't really know all the facts are really don't know what going of one you know -- everything's been latest. -- I know is that you know friend in my young lady and -- was an accident where she herself. And down to where the Vietnam. Call call me call my attorney. Trying to trying to get X amount of dollars out of me in if we don't give X amount -- both wrists before the game before this game. Anything like Gibbs so they went on and -- I'm actually going to hold off. Up for questions really wanted to get out there to the people that. You know I am aware of what's going going and I don't really want people to rush quick judgment in not known fact though -- My team -- don't have many saying to do with this they don't know winning thing I think it was just brought to their attention so. If -- pleased to lead them out of it because they don't know anything we're going on I don't really know the whole. Situation was going on just bits and pieces. Allow him you know and it definitely was not my intention of -- thing like this like it with his battery with a woman. You know there's there's really not my make up that's not me -- never been in this situation where I have to put my hands -- anyone and any lady so well like say ma'am for you rush quick judgment find out all the facts before you start. You know criticize me or judge in me -- I think."

I would never. -- what is that fair in love the game of football love my teammates that I would never put myself or him in the situation of something like an excellent. I think the best thing is that is that it resonates around. -- not I have never hit a one. Against him in Broward county Florida now. Last not a Florida radio station WD BO post historian of website. Saying that this injunction had been entered against Randy Moss for protection. Against dating violence that's what it -- but just a couple of hours later again later last night station and pulled the report without explanation from the website. And it's on the pro football talk about -- picked upon as well. -- in my email in box this morning and I had three separate people email me from this radio station website in. What do you know but what do you heard about that's obviously my answer I don't know into. -- on pointed out about it dislike you more but they're the street station now has three posted a copy of the document to its website. And obviously we're talking about the one same Randy Moss that in a place for the patriots I guess. You know personable why did they posted the -- and then post it again. I think it's legitimate question west. You know more than not sure about the story to begin with that they have to you know did did somebody call and threaten them if it's up there and then they found out later after moss then. You know about it in the put it back up there because it legitimize the story. I don't know. All I can tell you is it's a little fishy there's obviously a heck of a lot more of the story hopefully at some Stanton will all find out about it my question to you today is does this now serve. As a distraction to this team and try and prepare for this football game on Sunday what are your thoughts. You really do you believe Randy Moss. Do you believe what he has just told you. You believe what you heard. You know that this was on the that you know they were trying to do to extort money from him. And leak it now before you know the week before this big game you know the AFC championship game goodness sakes I -- You know moss has been the model citizen all season along with -- patriots in spite of some of his zone -- on past troubles shall we say. Some people I'm sure thing and I've been waiting for the issued a drop. And there are others that I'm sure will be saying well let's cut him a little slack. Depending upon what the stories because we don't know what the story we have no idea. No way of knowing of the stage of the game until you know court can actually you know come with some sort of conclusion. And again there's a hearing scheduled for January 28 would be of the beyond that we don't know anything more about. So based on what you heard. And you know at this point in time is this now a distraction. To this football team is -- a distraction to the preparation for the game is it a distraction to Randy Moss. -- video at patriots dot com is the email address love to hear your thoughts. On this particular story today and that's really it that's all we know you're looking for a little more today you're looking for more comment on it -- I'm not sure what else we can give you although the fact that it's happened it's out there Randy has responded to it he certainly stood up to it. You know who knows. I would suggest that he is absolutely correct in certainly one facet of this. And that would be wait until you get all of the facts before you rush to judgment. He also said that you know if he's found have done something -- this for sick ticket situation that he will own up to which okay that's great. Mean it's great that he says that doing -- I think is an entirely different matter. I'm not going to rush to judge it's unfortunate that the other 52 guys in the locker room. You know may have to have this affect them in some form or fashion isn't enough to affect this football team. In a negative fashion going into this game with the chargers I don't know. I guess time will ultimately tell that. But my guess is is that you don't know these guys in the locker room -- thing about it. They other than what they might have -- Earlier today and so they can't comment on it to them it's just BA -- business as usual. It could affect Randy Moss. Maybe then may may be it won't maybe he'll maybe you'll use the gridiron sort of speak as a way to you know protect. Move on give him some sanctuary from you know his off the field troubles as they now presently exist. Who knows and in time is going to tell but that's why I ask you the question of what your thoughts on patriots nation needs to respond here. You know give me some you know. Give me your thoughts on the you know if he did it if you didn't do it what should happen if you want to go that far that's fun let me know if you -- rush to judgment. Are you -- judging the man based on past history already taken on -- case by case basis I don't know that's why I'm asking the question that's what its other -- you may think it's ridiculous I. It is something that is going to affect this team either -- in a large faction -- a very small faction. Because of the magnitude of the game is coming up this Sunday. -- it well you know we'll be burying her head in the sand and doing a disservice to you do. In a fan of of pro football worked in the patriots it we didn't have something to say or something to do with it. And so that's kind of we come from today and that's the attitude that -- taken this and I were treated for what it is it's a story and then we'll leave it open ended because it's obviously going to be a continuing story and if the patriots do manage to win this weekend. Is going to continue into next week because that's when a hearing is going to be elder. What do you think needs to happen concerning this is always great show thank you it we -- not news that's news that we've known about some time that. The patriots you know that apparently the jets and asked for permission to. Videotape as they always do the patriots let's say they did not grant permission while the jets -- had permission granted which I can't imagine happening. So there's obviously more -- there to that story than meets the -- or -- But if if if writers to bring up spike it there's absolutely nothing you or I or any member of the knowing the patriots can do about. That's their right -- their prerogative. It was a story it was an issue it was something that was brought up it's out -- you'd like you know as the cats out ninety -- back into the -- is not going to happen I would suggest that if cut them more than that right does bring up spike gate and if they bring it up you know like during an interview week if the patriots are fortunate enough to get that far I would guess that it will probably causes certain degree of consternation. In and amongst the members of the team means got like I had nothing to do this and yet I'm still getting asked about it. So you know I'm sure they'll be ready for it on should have a pat -- upon answer for it. In of the get tested -- up I'm sure it'll stick in the crowd of what with a use it -- some kind of motivation and the the whole season colony has been motivation against that. I think these guys have been sufficiently motivated the point where they want to leave no doubt. That they are championship worthy and that they are. One of the great teams of all time I think that's what this story has helped fuel this season I'd think there's absolutely something to that. Sold it to the limits and bring it down I really don't know. Tells you considered do about it I just don't think that it it's going to matter that much beyond that. Who knew when John Elway beat bird farm in the Super Bowl twenty 32 that we wouldn't the other epic matchup for the next decade. To see Brady and farm squared off this year would be an excellent game would be one of the most memorable games the Super Bowl history. By the way when you look down the list of Super Bowl quarterback matchups one game sticks out like a sort of Trent Dilfer versus Kerry Collins the cortex make the game in my opinion you know that used games on the ages well there obviously is jumping the gun a little bit already looking at the Super Bowl and I'm sure that makes chargers fans who would be. Logging in or listening to the program today very happy to hear that but. -- he's you have to understand I mean in -- paralyzed patriots fans and certain faction -- fans feel like you know this is all the -- complete it's going to move on. One of -- who bold talk about and I can rest I can assure you that it. That attitude is not shared it down the hall. Great respect for the chargers. We as fans and we as media members can afford to speculate we can afford to look down the line and can say the F. More so than those guys can't it's not a direct slight against. Anybody of media fans talk about it you know fans do it on fan boards and blogs and things like that all the time. That's all this in his. And I would agree I think Beatles -- to match up wife would be great but I mention of the program yesterday -- And I'll say it again here I'm personally personally and this is my own personal preference kind -- person rooting for patriots giants matchup why because I like the whole New York knowing -- thing I think it adds spice to the rivalry. I think it's -- and Sox Yankees for that matter. I -- New Yorkers like new englanders and vice versa. So I think that become a court plus you have ratings because you'd have to the largest markets in the country. It would be riveted on this particular subject so I don't think it would be. That would fall flat the ratings because it's all its New York and New England I mean you could say that about any Super Bowl. I think people watch the Super Bowl period because it is the superbowl. -- but that's my personal preference. Com I I couldn't argue with the Brady -- match up who could you write to Hall of Fame you know caliber quarterbacks going at each other. And you'd get a lot of matchups like this in the ultimate game of the superstars were actually the focal point -- My guess is that you know hopefully with a little luck knock on wood right we'll have much more talk about after. This Sunday where that's concerned are standing in -- as I was wondering what was Igor Olshansky thinking -- of these players learn. He's talking about the Olshansky. Comments that he made concerning the patriots -- really didn't think there was much about it to be honest with."

With infighting and arguing between quarterbacks and running backs expect to see some of that this week debatable. Either or both rivers and LT play. -- the patriots have more yards per carry this year in the headlight than they have like for 26 years so figure that out they can't run just hasn't been the emphasis the of this offense. But these were used to run first -- when needed not pass first we couldn't win needed. And -- clean Bill Belichick knew he was doing -- Maroney Nellie is fresh and healthy not beat up and worn down from 300 carries in the regular season. Maybe I'm wrong but when you've got happens on the outside like Stallworth moss walker and the quarterback take advantage of it that's what they have done. This last week I find it curious that if he had a chance to go back in why he might not -- He just didn't know enough about what is Hendry was ended want to do anything effective but then again. I'm of the opinion you don't dude that your last game he got to go out you know. I mean what you say and four right. Totally curious. You know this is not to demean. The back -- and taught me every good team has to have depth the patriots goodness we -- know they've been able to build what they've built in this decade because of depth. One guy goes down they've got another guy that can step up or my score the can step up into the slot and do the job effectively. If not excellently you know I mean but that's -- patriots have become the patriots. And social you know Michael turner he's certainly capable they paid over two million dollars to be a back up running back in San Diego this year. Capable better. Look we know less but then again what we did see them against the colts who led the team and a touchdown drive the given the lead and ultimately the winner of the game. He's very talented defense though we're going to face they got forty turnovers and he deserves -- five in the playoffs to fourteen points a game in the last eight weeks and they're undefeated and Thanksgiving Day got twenty sacks Richard Merriman and Phillips and 42 sex -- team. Number want to turnover differential so. They're very healthy you know on defense got everybody there -- get depth at corner it commercial faster -- linebackers -- athletic and powerful style one of us and those cars and football. This defense will challenge morning defense we've faced all year. It's very different team and we played well personally to you know -- the replay does well this weekend only we're I think we're going to be able to answer this round of purposeful."

[1:15:36]" I think he strikes out more opportunity and I think he's got the ball more I think there's then. Chances for him -- We're a few weeks there without any tight -- so you try to draw a bunch of plays with no tight ends from her and the ball is stiff challenge in -- She's got much more an opportunity now when you have a trying to in the game and you kept -- your whole menu of runs. He's taken advantage of that solution may make a lot of guys miss you you run with power he's -- the -- he's right he's got. He's always a very very good vision. When it comes to three and out -- just don't do it all that often the other number what you remember is 41. 4115 and 41. 41 signifies the number of ten play drives but the patriots hall of fans had this season."

Obviously the situation going to play itself out but our -- I've been well do you think that this can be a distraction for a team that has really -- at a cottage industry to avoid distraction."

[1:23:08]" Yeah let's of that beat out right away it would be a resounding absolutely -- It will not being. And it I doubt it would be. That's for those situations it would be be talked about that much in the locker room so I can't imagine that would be a distraction to New England Patriots."

[1:23:26]" I'm glad that you actually brought up a comment on that -- because obviously you're having played for a number of years at a very high calibre you've been a Super Bowl situations. I mean how did you guys handle at your locker room in the giants -- something like that come up."

You know -- I didn't double single all are you a better quarterback reality has been in the past I don't believe that's probably be just -- Different players a different offense more opportunities and the so that it showed the statistics and but the fact that they've -- undefeated. And they had this season so far to where they are that make me go wow. But I know emotionally and physically hard to always be up there and of course they work during the season. But they always found a way to win -- and they they hung in there and even when they had they worthy of playing near their best. And the agenda wasn't the same for them as a -- airplane against the -- still -- weight but to me that's big tent stuff."

[1:39:29]" Does this team have to win not only this game Sunday but certainly the Super Bowl a couple of weeks. In order your estimation to be considered the greatest team of all time."
