I never thought I would see this day and ever thought I would already -- right at them to what this day would beat. Because you know in this day and age of parity equality recap of free agents the everything's there. In the current atmosphere in which we exist now in professional sports not just the title but in pro sports overall I don't know that. The term undefeated ever came in in my mind and what you cover professional sport. For a long. As I have. And that includes the collegiate sports as well because -- quite a bit of the work in the college ranks as well. You know I just don't know that those terms ever come to fruition because it's just it's ludicrous. Nobody goes in. Nobody goes undefeated college football teams play what twelve game regular seasons and go undefeated anymore. They don't. This year we have for the first time ever. In -- BCS championship game two with two losses and LSU and a win the dog thing so undefeated. What the patriots are doing now and what they could do. In what we could you know all the talking about two weeks from you know yesterday and today. Is something that we all all of -- no matter how many of you were listening right now. I don't want to win what do you talk about a -- if you nuts and loops. Sosa and the cowboys that won the previous Super Bowl and beat the dolphins the dolphins' turn around and use that loss to fire them to a to an undefeated season. I was kind of 5050 on the but I'd I know one thing I watched. I watched. And I know that there will be many pro football fans would you love. 48 or you don't care. One or the other about the patriots you'll watch. And the reason that you will watch what do you root for or against the patriots you'll watch because you want to remember you Shaw. History being made that simple. And I -- I don't think I'm really stretching it geared to say that you know. I'm -- either I mean I guess we could it can I guess it's conceivable because it's inconceivable that -- is where we are right now. That's inconceivable but we are. Who could have it again yeah sure I guess it could Willits don't know. Fact that we're here is is totally just -- I I I said here I try to -- within over the last couple of days."

Like you might be here and obviously you know the POW guys do is well they do as good a job that is probably anybody but. In terms of breaking down -- and comparison comparing and contrasting the patriots personnel and the giants personnel I mean do we really have to do -- First of all these teams played each other just few weeks ago right to do 34 weeks ago. I I you know patriots won the game 3835 as I mentioned with the the guys a little bit ago com. It was a ten point lead until late in the game Trent scored late got a two point where they could you know try an on side kick paid pitcher patriots covered game was over. They had a double digit lead. That they couldn't hold -- at home analysts. So you know I guess there's and several different thought that can be the can be rejected here. On there is of course an X factor in -- foot. Now if you. In the pictures online of he has a foot in the booed his right foot and in a protective boot as he was getting -- visit his girlfriend Gisele in New York yesterday that's part. Whatever I am sure it's just precautionary thing it really did not alarming at all I mean the fact is that if you get a shot of Tom Brady with a boot on his foot. Yeah -- that in itself is probably someone alarming because you just don't see that stuff of course patriots what is going to have closed the best but I -- would be alarmed now. Now if he was really hurt after he heard he would have ever gone back in the game. You know for those. -- final few staff especially if the game was clinched -- the patriots were chewed up the last nine minutes of the clock on Sunday. He was really hurt not using castle there. So -- I do I expect him to be healthy I think muster expects -- to help the I don't think you when the patriot returned to practice this week which will be Thursday heavily used when -- start. Workouts for the game itself -- be surprised if you see you know -- work out."

[11:47]" I don't think you work out here I think you'll continued treatment and you'll. Into the film study the requisite film study all -- but you know these guys and still have I think the giants fairly fresh in their memory. We're talking about it'll only a month going by between games between these two sides that you look at this almost as a as a divisional opponent. Rematch and even so I really don't think you get divisional re matches as soon as the month apart in the regular season did you not usually you don't. But I think this is going to be very much like you would game plan for -- a rematch with the dolphins the jets of the bills. And I don't mean to under score under sell the Super Bowl it is still the game it is of the most watched individual athletic events in the calendar year. On the globe on this planet. More people will watch this game than any other single game. In this calendar year there's no doubt about it that what the Super Bowl is. But the patriots will approach this like like I said they will approach this. Like the divisional rematch they just played one. It'll still be room and in the giants personnel and the matchup to be rolled over afresh -- keep in mind now -- split everybody in the game they didn't do the what thing like Tampa did and like Dallas did. It like some people suggested they do they wanted to play and I gave the giants had tremendous amount of credit after the game and I am still given -- They wanted to play that game to win and they darn near did it."

[13:23]" So that's that's. In NFL -- think this game will be closer than the court -- point spread by the way. The line opened -- fourteen right Vegas line open but fourteen for the game it's already downed at twelve what does that tell you. Tells me that there's a tremendous amount of money obviously already moving on the giants. That patriots have not over the last two months of the season they have not been a good scheme against the number. Far from. Patriots have been horrible team a -- a mediocre team. Horrible mediocre team overall against the point spread that your because of the double digit point spreads that they've been favored bought and late in the season they've had a hard time covering that. Because teams have geared up for this -- Taken out batter or whatever they've done a match up an excuse me but. Fact is that you know that the number continues to shrink. I think he'll probably continue to a that you probably continue to see -- money coming on the giants if you were so inclined. I'll venture a guess here. And I -- that I think that the number could probably get down to about ten. Nine and a half for -- Mike kickoff I think that's possible. When you consider the patriots had a ten point lead at New York did not really play their best game defensively. Allowed New York scored late as well giants dating back to -- December. In the win the game by three. I could with a number shrink to you know right at denied -- inquiries I could see that. And I think there will be some people that will probably portal extra cash from the patriot it would because and they want to winning ticket for team that -- ninety you know. Who would do the greater need to go a lot better all the pats well I'm sure they'll be some penalty shot that. You know just for posterity posterior so I guess there -- several of always look at. But the fact is that I expect the giants would probably like the two playoff games of the patriots have played before them I expect that the giants will keep this game close and keep it within shouting distance into the third maybe even in the fourth quarter again much like it wasn't New York. I don't know the patriots will give up a double digit lead. Or let me put this way I don't know that the patriots will be find themselves and double -- hole going into the fourth quarter elected -- New York but -- of the Johnson -- to give open double digit lead as well I think of anything is more likely happen that the patriots. Knowing that they can come back from a big deficit are probably less likely to fit in that position to begin. That makes sense hope so -- making sense to me but I just said that you would forgive me it's the drugs that -- settling in here -- But I don't know that. Breaking it down and talking about the of them but matchup Michael Strahan on Matt light I just don't know if that's really going to have anything to. That's why I think that you know we're going to city and we're going to talk about the game we're going to talk about whose golden errors don't mind. Where this put the patriots in the overall pantheon of great teams not just in the NFL on talk about it all sports. So if you really think that the two week stretch between the championship the the coverage averages in the Super Bowl as long you ain't seen nothing yet. Does this two week stretch is going to be as long a two week stretch if you probably ever experienced in your sports life. That's just the way it is."

[18:21]" And I don't mean. -- to depress you you know it's just it's a factor one thing that we don't do -- punches. We give your thoughts as we see them give your opinions as we understand that back to be in the give your best guess an aerial and that's what I'm doing here. Not a whole lot of game -- and the patriots already know how to beat the giants conversely the giants already know. What it would take to beat the patriots executing that game plan is a different story."

[18:51]" And even if they execute the game plan you're still going to have to get some help. That's because the patriots have a definitive advantage over everybody played this year in a physical match they are superior. Talent wise that's not denigrating the giants."

[19:08]" It -- the patriots offense makes everything else pale by comparison. They had. -- had a mediocre to lousy day on Sunday. Only put up 21 points on the board Bill Belichick added after the game is always left some points on the field that. And they still won the game by nine. They still -- headed really in the fourth quarter much because the -- came up big with the red zone play and holding the chargers to four field goals."

[19:38]" Meanwhile an an and I think Tedy Bruschi said it best after the games like it or can't depend on Tom Brady in the -- to roll 400 yards every game and he's right. So if you look at it a total team patriots fan you should be thrilled with the way the deepest plight to that mentally yet. I'd be interested though because at the patriots will have to go down as one of the greatest teams of all time certainly having one of the greatest seasons of all time. In the history of all sports forget. Collegiate amateur professional whatever. I'm talking all sports for all all in there and with a major to doing this year what they could end up with this year. Could end up being the best that they were ever will be. And could be the best that will never see again ever. That may be what we -- all experiencing right now that's how that's and you know that's overall experiencing right now. -- what that's going to where I'm coming from today. Is that -- will fall -- everything that they do unless of course they go undefeated again which may be the most stupid thing anybody's ever thought.
