Also winding down this week's -- sessions of passing camps that was limited to 36 of the younger and inexperienced."

[1:07]" Players my site listed one of the papers as quote the headliners of the week word Dave Thomas victor hobson and Mike Richardson some of these experienced players out there. We got that would really be headliners hobson and the guys started a lot of games in the -- played a lot of games but mostly young guys draft pick side undrafted free agents out there. Working this week we were out there on no roster moves to speak of there was no transactions and I would say the biggest note as we found out that Dave Thomas. -- the -- healthy and I'm -- you know on the practice they'll -- so there were some things that he didn't -- yeah he was out -- that's a good guy and you know and now you know she's likely not a -- because I generally assume all those guys -- I don't -- in the -- things are strong -- to begin training -- do you think -- you know we're -- get into the roster here and you mention -- that there -- On it sort of some foreshadowing of maybe some to come even even in the next up month they're culpable dedicated to bat. I was gonna ask you do you think -- you mentioned that Dave Thomas probably based on the fact that he was out they're probably not on -- start camp. Do you think there might be the last guy on -- to start camp and David happened in the past. Because of the roster limitations. Maybe they need more guy you know whereas maybe a guy in the past kinda era not a cost him an extra week. They need him out there and now not necessarily because either way he's going to count towards the roster right. So that's why I'm trying deal I mean it basically -- thing you're you're doing is opening up the UP window for the season. -- by putting them so. I don't think it really change much and I think their. Probably just a lot healthier this year and have been in previous off seasons -- Mina knew that I don't know -- need to do that I don't know and you made. Very well the -- right -- There's always guys like Benjamin Watson and I think spot in state at both those guys -- BM TV and and there's always guys there's always bought five guys like that every year to me dad. Right now you could say he could be MP UP and I completely understand why and and on the first day of practice they could be out there that's an idea must be recovered Brett and I just don't know what stage of rehab they're in right now. You know it's accurately make dad. Prediction yeah I would say those two would be potential in it specially -- and talk about. Two injuries multiple for the jurors during the off season. Yeah I think there's at least a chance that he'd be a candidate but. Talking about the roster and looking at some of the -- you talked about we were sort of led to believe in -- into -- build altered quotes in a minute talking about the roster. -- that they could be moved coming at some point. Due to the fact that there's now it hard cap on the -- country hard eighty man limit. No longer do you have those NFL Europe roster exemptions that gave you up to 86 spots on the roster. So you know it's going to be a little different there's been a lot of talk about this a lot of people. On both on the coaching -- in the players -- we're hoping the owners would vote on it and expand the rosters to 85 or eighty that they did not do that it read remaining and hard cap right now John -- on the record -- he's going to have a shorter training camp because of it he doesn't think there's enough bodies in the wearing air. There's some speculation some teams will cut back on double sessions and change the way they. Gripped the practices so no there's going to be some sort of trickle down effect on interestingly you know the Patriots we talk about you know are their roster moves coming. Even when you list all the rookies right now. Those guys aren't on technically on the roster then I'm contract but when you -- them as the team PR department does right they're only had 81 players -- tell -- you're only have to cut one guy if you have all those guys finally signed contracts potentially one of those guys could be based on what bills yesterday. Hunter because they have three guys right now they carry three into camp last year but under the new regulations it looks like they might not do that. Obviously Mike Drago pitched the young undrafted rookie free agent you have the veteran experienced veteran but newcomer Scott player. And obviously Chris Hanson holdover from last year who sort of you know surprisingly took that job after the three guys that went to camp. Didn't you know team bowed her head in it and Tom along was cut. And and a judgment jocular Miller was newspapers yeah. And didn't and a latching on follow along elsewhere an injury replacement but I want to read the quote bill that yesterday when asked about. The punters -- would they be able to carry three into camp and really let them pick it out. Over the course of a few weeks and -- say he said quote -- say it's going to be harder this year given the roster restrictions right now without contracts being -- we can carry a little bit over the eighty obviously at one over once those guys on contract it's a hard eighty number have to make some -- there I'm not sure that we'll be able to take everyone we want to. To camp. The numbers have been lower in the have been in previous years with the year guys at exemptions and he's basically saying. There might be and cuts coming up in the next you know after mini camp or whatever and I'm in that June July area before they they had in the camp. It'll be anything to see do we know what. Hanssen's cap numbers. I would assume it's veteran minimum salary I would I would I would open when he came in bright and that on his plan dating and -- Don't forget it was after September. But I -- Sammy was out yeah available for -- either way you both those guys are talking about a high 800000 dollar comfortable nine tenure type veterans nine. Andre goes it would be a -- and I think that you accurately portrayed the situation yesterday and it by saying that Turco bitch and what he really. Yes performs poorly -- stuff in the room prize you know he's probably going to be given an opportunity to compete with one of the two veteran and -- you know one of the two veterans will be let go. Those guys are more known -- they know what they have there maybe they get mini camp. You know and nine in June you know command expects it's right around point next week June 6 rate. But let alter it and kick out there are many camp and and you kind of a one of them you know like he'd be in -- tomorrow. And it's interesting I didn't know a lot about to go of it but milk -- burning the draft -- his top 100 players available Lena and I want to say that's pretty he's pretty good. I mean he clearly has high hopes for him. On the eighty film long love with the long leg like I do you know in theory of a piece of physics -- for a couple of yards on Ehrlichman -- I gambling man Crable Olerud -- homosexuality but you know I. I've seen enough from him that he's inconsistent but he's got a strong like there was one either yesterday the day before that he absolutely crushed. So I'd like him have a chance to try to win the job over the course -- my guess is but as players out. Even though he hasn't really done anything they were comfortable pants in you know quote unquote situation -- punting last year thank you bring him back is the guy you're comfortable with. And then you bring entry goes -- hope he kicks the crap out of the ball takes the job that they signed player before. The ghost of it was in trial. Can you remember I believe so yeah I mean yeah for pre draft turnout. That they've lighter after -- which was here at rookie mini camp in India and a player was already here I think they're ready I believe so yes okay that makes sense right. They they didn't -- probably going to have to know exactly and I thought it was going to be drafted in the third round like I -- and player is kind of like Miller last year. With the Browns I believe he was a a replacement injury tonight yeah right. Substitute experienced guy correct my guess is I won't get to make fun of his new entity Simmons and like appearance another guy talked about yesterday with bill in relation to the roster. Potential addition now keep in mind anybody at this point then that could change numbers game junior -- Bill was asked you know we any closer to coming to a decision and it has built -- that the owners meeting that that wasn't -- time to address it. And he said I think it is closer to reaching that. I think it I don't think it's any closer to having any kind of a commitment one way or the other we're not there just yet but we're close. And and he was asked yet you crystal ball out telling that. I'd say it private closer training camp the meaning camps so by training camp which is they expect to have a decision which. Tell anything par for the course pretty much right and they did it last you know there was the report that they were going to have him in to get a physical to see if he's healthy enough to nine. I'm I don't know whether that has a cork -- hurt or not on the report made it sound like it was -- on the yeah definitely did. -- is there any Virginia there on the roster the I've I would mind having him just. For insurance if they don't get them on -- that's going to be the end of the world though."

[9:47]" You know at his age was semi nineteen years for him. You know we we all thought this was going to be it anyway last year was going to be so to have him here which is kind of be -- I would I wouldn't expect him to if he does come back. I would expect and be less of aid of an every down -- last year and a much more situation all. If need be try to try to get one of these younger guys. Like hobson Mayo maybe even one of the rookie free agent -- in here. To try to get them more of the playing time and have now if he does anything be morbid to sort of an emergency kind of role but or may be at camp body but. If you want to come back -- taken -- adjusting."

[10:23]" question -- situation all around because first of all he wanted to come back I think I would I'd would take them. Would open no question because a tactic we know bill that tends to gravitate toward the veterans and I know quantity. But based on last year. If you had with eight victor -- works but what you know I'm I'm the coach is obviously know a little bit more about -- tough. You know than than than any of us but -- to say that victor Hobbs who works. What -- turns out to be a good solid draft pick and contribute immediately on -- Okay I have two young guys that at worst you can rotated with the veteran. I'm not so sure that it out in Bruschi -- on the roster that Al not the guy playing in -- he's the guy. Panic picking up the scraps it based on what they did last year I would rather have Al out there. More often than Bruce legendary he's in great shape no doubt about I think -- played better and he flat out played better and then Tedy Bruschi eyes and not a knock on Bruschi had a terrific career there and -- when I thought last year to about seven. -- stay out did a better job on deepened the Tedy Bruschi now they may have been asked to do some different things. Certainly but. Just judging on what I saw last year I I wouldn't be I'd argue the last two years I would I would be philosophically opposed to having ally out there."

[11:46]" With one of those other -- and I think that's -- the -- in the -- an interesting situation however you choose to use -- and then the other -- that we've -- Vinny -- he's not -- in training -- he -- in September but -- on the -- and he -- on the -- almost expecting somewhere along -- get the -- straightaway -- he -- one of those guys that they -- kind of -- back in front -- get -- one of those guys get -- you want to add depth at -- what better -- been here for two years -- as experienced as -- and -- maybe 45 -- you -- can expect him. I I now have him for the final 101112 games of the year and he should be able to make it through that and maintain pretty oppression itself and I think that's a possibility to and obviously that'll make him the guy of note because. People keep wondering -- one of the in Isaiah when -- as the answer I think you won't necessarily find out definitively come July. That his career is done. If he doesn't sign with the Patriots that he isn't a real possibility to be in the year I think Pakistan I think it's and it's situations a lot of different ways to go. And in other ways this -- ago that -- I had my notes I pulled and Eric I did research I've brought.
