Play from 0:32[0:32]" I welcome to another -- is what -- cast official podcasted in New England each. Finally ran into Friday June 20 right here to let him. We kind of helpful -- would welcome back time because Sally has gone there good thank you very much welcome back me I'll have expanding out and Paul Reynolds couldn't take it away today has done it."

Play from 0:49[0:49]" No IndyCar and it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood is at war I'll make this horse -- upset about that but are totally different reasons -- what shortened week. Because obviously the the dog days of the armory here even though we're still days away officially from Palmer have hit Gillette Stadium not a whole lot going on. Around the facility coupled players in out ITT Tom. Bravery paper on public been thrown yesterday as I was walking in the that's what it is early work holds all the time in -- media and the players a few and far between the one item of note I think that maybe transpired during the course of the week is not a major development but fifth round draft pick. Matthew Slater had signed a four year deal. Which will have him mom pretty ago it started training camp and he was for the draft time but obviously not a huge impact on the on the roster. One item I wanted to bring you guys get your opinion Kevin Jones as a running back out in the world to me with want first round pick. Went Detroit area and knee problems. Injury situation there. Had -- and it was released by the lines another surgery in January doctor James Andrews down in Alabama. I've noted noted what the richest man absolutely noted noted what urgent -- takes care of all the best. Going to be about ten months before he's able played so that's going to have him probably into the -- probably starting a season in on UP. And maybe by middle of October as we get November it to be ready to go. Patriots express some interest in him he's going to have a work out. At the end of this month I think on June 28 the fun I remember that they correctly. Just kind of showed teams where he is right now physically he's been working -- he says he feels great I would expect the Patriots to be part of that. Worked out will certainly keep up to date on that now what you guys know -- it happens but I want to know. From both your perspective. What positions you think might need bolstering between now and."

Play from 2:53[2:53]" I mean you can never have enough linebackers on this team just given agent and injury history that they have but I wouldn't mind seeing them try to. Get a little bit better there I don't think there's really much they can do with this point as far as regions -- out there. Mean that would if I had a wish list that where I would probably start just maybe get us a little bit. Something extra on the inside maybe one or two on the outside and just give any via. What we've seen from the less experienced guys on this team and I have had a chance to play I'd be a little bit more secure I had someone extra over there. And maybe one extra -- and we had three at one point just a couple of weeks ago. But they seem to gotten rid of the two that they brought in pretty quickly so what's Hansen. That -- you finish really needs to go well top."

Play from 3:42[3:42]" You know I don't really think that they need to upgrade any areas if I was concerned it -- spot it would probably be what we always say is. A backup to Vince Wilfork if you had to name the guys can't -- I think Wilfork is near the top of that list. But if he was going to be out for 46 games I don't think they have another huge body of -- to play them 34 Cardinals apple so. Other than that you know be be at the -- the Cardinals tackled pretty stat I mean I. Pending the AME Boris health. -- that you would probably one and another running bad pride in it seems like that's worth their leading with -- Kevin Jones and Morris."

Play from 4:23[4:23]" Certainly seems to be a 100% health I don't know why you'd be on the field for all of these. You know sort of non non mandatory OTAs he was different mini camp but everybody else but even before that the passing -- he was altitude so. I have to think that he he he's ready to go physically and and and insisting a two last year when he first got here I believe during mini camp and passing camps. He had some sort of injury and he was wearing a red Jersey I think he was early in at least early and -- against our -- this year coming off that surgery and his season ending injury he didn't have has red Jersey. They're so that's and he."

Play from 5:00[5:00]" and then one thing about -- that we should mention is. He's one of the best receiving running really gives him in the NFL -- We always talk about that you know who's going to replace ball on the road. In you all the Indians -- before that they really -- Jones coming out of college so even if he can't beat the runner that he once was after those injuries. If he can still be that solid pass catching bad maybe they'd bring him innings of that role."

Play from 5:26[5:26]" Yeah and I think that's certainly what they would probably plan on -- I don't think he's a guy capable of being a lead guy especially with the the injuries that he's come off a serious you serious knee injuries not don't want these kind of take couple months off in your -- so thank Tom brings up the good point there and I also think. The -- four point is a very good one because they really don't have that guy that I would feel real comfortable. Stealing in four games of the time at nose tackle. And you know maybe if there was a weighted to kind of balls to the lines on both sides -- into the middle of the line on defense offense. And a top to bottom you know like you you you wonder. I think they're I think the wine is good I think it much maligned because of the performance in the Super Bowl. But I think it's pretty good line but you always you always can look enough to bolster that kind of an area and an eight. You know we can tease him guys they're two you know what Oliver Ross coming in that we know it to you had been talking to other guys Gary sims was one. That they talked to a couple weeks ago so I I think that might be a position to keep and I wanted."

Play from 6:27[6:27]" Here's a question and based on what you said -- if for them reasonable for Puerto BO for an extended period do you think that would force them. The coach is to try to revert to more of a fourth three. And showed some of those bigger guys that they had it. -- probably is hard because there's not many wolf works around. But -- don't maybe you obviously can like guys like the fat veterans like Grady Jackson or just -- Ted Washington types that you can just plug and they don't play a lot but just so what do have a they have literally had that it you'd like writes kinda out of position there -- so I think that they would probably do that little bit more for three."

Play from 7:00[7:00]" And I think that's a good point as he -- to slide he Morant and -- there -- at tackle right. And then you can kinda you know make make shift your way through the end I don't really have. Traditional 43 hands but. You know it now you working and Alex Vrabel or or eight these you know as that and you can get by that way I think more so than you get fired Tom scenario with a Mike -- haven't played really out of position before. Nose tackle but you know again you know what -- media at the end of June here is not not a whole lot of activity going on here at the stadium so. It's the kind of things with you know we have what off five weeks before the start of training camp. It's going to be here before you know it a couple of balls would get made they always do Belichick always makes moves in this time so. What kind of looking at that roster trying to figure out where those moves are going to come from and I don't want you guys suggest that are probably as good as it is any other you know right now I think Tom that are right if that kind of backed. At every spot yet -- thought maybe a month or so -- you or. Right before the draft -- at all quarterback obviously but they seem to make a lot of moves in Africa they -- together in the free agents they -- brought an end of the address X. They're they're there's going to be competition there's been through to get this thing and it will be fun -- he will bring that to you obviously I've come the end of July but a foot now here are Friday at Gillette Stadium and thought back to -- Thanks guys. Try to get next IR Branyan roster -- like cast thanks for opening gopac."
