I he's been a pro quarterback for four years but he might people be known he Jim Sorgi your pride will be known backup quarterback in the entire NFL but that is all changed this week. And got it did you hear from my neck I was involved in the paper locker earlier today as he addressed the media. For the first time. Officially as starting quarterback and -- he's a very confident guy and he certainly has a lot of weapons around him. -- from a fantasy perspective a great course in the week is what kind of value does Matt Cassel have as a fancy football quarterback. Let's look at some of the pros and cons. The pro are pretty obvious look up and down the Patriots roster. -- In my opinion. Anyone who's catching pass as anyone throwing passes to Randy Moss. Probably deserves a spot on fantasy football teams somewhere is he and it's sort -- point three touchdown pass to Randy Moss. That might be a stretch that's what Tom Brady did last year that might be right but when Randy Moss is out there and he's healthy Wes Welker is healthy and when the Patriots have the five. Headed monster at running back that they have not to mention I help you Benjamin Watson if you get out there I think Matt Cassel can do little bit of damage. In the world fantasy football the question is how much of the Patriots going to rely on the -- will they rely on the pass as much as they did last year. Arm I don't think they will quite as much but I think I think that -- on as long as he can keep those interceptions down. Is -- to have a big year on is going to have some big weeks. Maybe not this week I don't know going to be -- immediate but I think Matt Cassel. Is going to play a role another topic related and Newcastle which will also get it into with Gregg Rosenthal. What they have now right on my team and I think -- early for keeper league -- I'd love them on my team. I don't know if Matt Ryan is going to -- the job done every week I would expect and interceptions more seconds and had we want on. As far as next -- although I think there's a better chance. And we are joined recap of the first week of the NFL season had the fantasy season and looking forward to week number two of the fantasy season. And joining us now from -- world docomo managing editor of wrote a world dot com Greg."

Well we appreciate you have -- Brees and having you on and certainly was an eventful first week in the world of fantasy football and as you might imagine. Around here in New England. A lot of story lines from that first game none. Are there he goes that people are taking is being too positive. We're talking about the quarterback situation I get there right into that what do you make of this -- situations quarterback situation we senior opted to block. Blog that you do have nightcap as the number one quarterback available in both leagues what do you think of Matt Cassel as a fantasy football quarterback."

But even in the lineup when he -- their -- a lot better than Brodie -- you especially with Wayne though it. His numbers to a lot better when -- and I think that helped. Well how -- the biggest problem he had. I -- that Brodie Croyle now last week yet he dropped it would have been good but it cut them that afterwards and you needed I've been paid."

[19:03]" keeping with the quarterback -- switching gears -- just a bit we saw some really. Big time performances this past weekend and from guys like Jay -- like Donovan McNabb Ben Roethlisberger. One that jumped out at me on the opposite side Carson Palmer. What can we say about this in any offense from a fan perspective. And -- are we are are -- going to be as bad as they seem to deal with Carson Palmer and and and some of the the other weapons they have."

[19:29]" Well a lot of time after week one player and I -- they looked -- they're not a bad replicate the I think they're Ravens are going to make a lot quarterback. What that people forget the power they have in their front seven. Now with that said it looked like they had them warming up to do it airplane the Titans this week with his. They didn't -- that he'd bend Indiana I think those two of the top is that going to be cut it week. I think overtime they're going to have bounced back they kept improving to do. For me that the -- either pop I'd quarterback he's well you know I don't care about a good luck to get double B -- and quarterback that."

[20:09]" If anyone played the Ravens I think they're going to you know have a big game especially at home. Yeah and that didn't make that quarterback look that I'm a little worried about the -- communicate and that happened -- that game a lot in that the Patriots have been kinda feel. During pre beans together and hope that kind of worked out how it's certainly add over the last few years these guys have been among the most consistent fantasy option and --"

This is going to be pretty pretty solid group of rookie running back in the long term arm but the question is right now most of them are at at best splitting carries may be with the exception of Matt Forte. And and we a lot of guys that he is charged with -- their value talking about Rashard Mendenhall. Jonathan Stewart I like that. Among this class is Felix Jones is another one among this class of rookie running back who. Do you think it through just the small sample that we have we want is going to have the best most fantasy value as removal on your 2000."

[21:35]" Look at how. Our whole. It is who if I'm going to let Matt -- pick yet that is not played very. I'm -- Chris Johnson is right behind you and Darren McFadden right now that I think that the bumper crop of rookies like that and that -- Some of them are putting Kerry down and it would be the next guy and let. Our situation and I guess a couple of years ago you know we have the same situation here in New England. Without Laurence Maroney and Corey Dillon and and as we've seen here it takes a while before rookie running back sometime depending on the situation -- really. Didn't really make that impact but -- they certainly. Had a breakthrough performance in prime time that it."

[22:48]" Yeah and yeah do you have the feeling by how -- you don't need that and it it depends again on a coaching at. And the players that it went so Lovie Smith who has not afraid and that team over to nap for a I think in Tennessee best pitchers not to upgrade and the majority of practice over the -- not been good they're very high on him after go to Carolina. Yeah again it's only one -- and -- as we mentioned earlier you can only read much into it but would you yet if Arnold was a -- the Patriots fans might have a chance to -- up close and personal in just a week and a half. Is he a guy that might not to POR a one week wonder like guy you know Alec met a couple of years ago offered him -- you had what two touchdowns and we wanted to. Dearly EI dearly have another one or desire of his season is if if Fasano the real deal."

I'd better he'd been started and I think he will be around a year maybe not. As a superstar in the media like you know that I."

Arm in over the course of the week how you develop your idea your opinions and finally come out with rankings like you do at at the end of the week."
