Play from 0:01[0:01]" Team I think system. A lot of big plays like to stretch the field with what the count as a country. All it is it's always a big challenge the it's like to give the ball downfield and passing game or is one heck of a back -- night. Thinking -- a lot of a lot of players around the league and so this guy is a really. Talented back martz is always had a great attack offense through week. Likes to get the ball downfield spread you out does a lot of different things so it's always challenge for defects."

Play from 0:30[0:30]" Busy busy that doesn't panic when he gets to third on me a lot of plays the ability to make this stuff on third downs. What do you do go to -- For a second I try to put in the situation in the middle of the rectified."

Play from 0:42[0:42]" Well that's the thing about legacy martz is offense has always been he's got a guy that. You know. -- third down for -- third fourteen seems like they've got a lot of calls a lot of times offenses say we don't have a lot of calls for third and fourteen it seemed like. He doesn't any does a good double convert them. You're right we've you know first thing get it on defense get to get him into the situations that's number one thing then the second thing is then. We just got to do a good job of changing things up like most people want to do and just get off the field on third down which. You know we have not going to going to jog at this this year on -- in that's our challenge we have you know doing third. -- options football's very difficult. Prepare for was that some that going that Miami game that if you -- you don't have stuff in the defendant that's really tip of the -- turnaround in game. And -- just well that's true I think of any offense anytime somebody can give you a different wrinkle. You know you gotta adjust it -- that's our job. They did a good job I give Miami a lot of credit for have a little bit of -- scheme that and to come down and give us a different look. It's my job those coordinator to do a better job though didn't adjustments to our guys quicker we finally got to -- so good I need to do better job. Of getting it quicker. And I take responsibility for that and then the players. When we did get it adjusted need to do better job attack on that because that we will probably is the we actually had to stop we just didn't tackle. And that was not the case early on they caught us I give them credit I take responsibility. We gotta get that we get get a handle quicker they'll do a better job players that do better -- maybe use the scheme those Ginn and then later it was maybe just sloppy play there first couple times. Yeah and then we got to finally we got it fixed and and then we've -- we gotta do better job tackling let the volatile long run we had and stuff we just we missed some tackles on the the last 63 yarder so it's combination of both. But it's my job as coordinator to. You know get a stop on that. Experience for you as a coach the well. Yeah it's just like anything you know you have good days you have bad days -- more my better days when Salem are better days on -- period and you know you try to get you try to be. You try to cover all bases just like you do on offense you're trying to overall blitzes you know and there's always going to be something that comes up. And guess how you adapt to than how you adjust to that and you know moving forward hopefully we've we've -- he will do a better job against the house would you assess the team's past to -- it. With the -- Kind of like our way we've played defense and consistent and I think has just been typical. Kind of what we've done in the first three games we've played well time we put more time we've just got to want to be more consistent we'll be pass rush we'll be tackling will be playing deep balls. Third down all those things we've we've been good at times we've been that's a good time we just go and be more consistent which is kind of what we have been in the past we gave him back there. But start as a rookie linebacker we -- we. I think it's hard to start and any rookie position probably in this league I don't think this is necessarily linebacker Vegas just. Probably difficult to start you know as a rookie in anything you just gotta you gotta learn but. It the way you also look at it is at this point in time we've been through four pre season games we've been four weeks in the season that they've weakened our rookie anymore. You know if that's college season already we've played so. You're playing a freshman in college in the -- in ninth game -- season -- his freshman anymore -- I consider these -- rookies anymore. Like and what you hear from you. At times -- plane just like the rest of the defense he's been good at times and that's a good at times just like coach. And that's the good times are good at times so yeah we just all going to be more consistent."

Play from 4:40[4:40]" over the played Brett Favre and the Jets and he said that we can be patient you know considering Mike Martz is sort of expect to hold onto it. Try to get that downfield plays that does that help them for preparing for the."

Play from 4:51[4:51]" The different type of patience I think you know with Fargo was a little more of you gotta be patient because. Who knows when the ball's gonna come out of what time where he's -- when he throws it it's a day if -- right is patience but it's a different kind of patience. Yeah he was it conceptually what the Dolphins steadily since mud -- do. With the read option stuff that's in the college game is it conceptually really similar to the Chinese the bonds Bay's new line splits are a little wider and that is are hard to explain it -- deeper than that because -- and the one thing about being a coordinator in college for all the years have seen it. And having going to head coach we have we ran with Cribbs as a quarterback. At Kent State so. There are no little bit about it but it's awful it's it's a lot more -- it did take my whole interview decision."

Play from 5:36[5:36]" Explain it to yourself an -- out of that and more protection breakdowns -- more than nature of their offense was trying to go deep. I'm not I'm going if -- it gives -- the league in sacks allowed is that it and breakdowns and their starters that more than nature of an offense -- is going to have stacked. I think it's probably a combination little bit of both. I think it's you know that'd be some inept -- smarts not me a community -- yeah I hope so I hope so that things got."
