And I think the general consent that have been able to come up with a my own mind. After kind of paying attention now to what others are saying at least -- about this time yesterday. Com. It is still a team that. I think the general perception is the Patriots are a team that largely has everything in place with the exception of one guy. I think that's the that's the misconception about the Patriots. I think the Patriots are now realizing for instance how much they really miss a guy like Asante Samuel in the defensive back. I think -- and they're all a learning that. One or two. Perhaps the linebackers and I'm not going to name names you come up with -- combinations. Have seen better days. And maybe one or two others are not living up to expectations are not. They may be pulling their own might. But because they're not helping the others it it though the entire unit operas by comparison. If that makes any sense. I think the defensive line is under performing with one exception. One exception based on what I've seen at least over the last two or three weeks. So right there you're looking at the entire defensive unit. That ought to be pretty good indicator as to why this team give a thirty point the other night. Offensively speaking I think we all realize. That yes it is a different team. Without you know you know who quarterback. But the problems offensively go deeper than just that and again. The misconception of Patriot is all it's the same team they don't don't have Tom Brady Tom Brady doesn't tackle Tom Brady doesn't block. Never did. May never ever do it again that's pressure -- and catch pass. On the offensive side of the ball -- Yeah if you're gonna miss. A certain hall of Famer. Quite frankly you're you're going to suffer little bit by comparison. And we've taken great pains -- you week. Is -- the season opener occurred to explain it on tape that -- castles go into the same type of thing that Tom went through when he took the job over Drew Bledsoe. For the most part. And comparatively speaking and we've done some of the comparisons that you probably read them on line was seen on TV -- read -- and a newspaper. The problem is is that you've got a problem in the offensive backfield. And I think we all know where that is he would even suit up. That is the the the equivalent of rubbing salt into an open -- I don't know how the Patriots defensively allow that -- does like offensively I don't know how they kept from getting one yard. But a lot of the team to go 98 the other way after you come up short. I I I am I'm still lost work it was a complete in order. Melt -- break their failure. Finale -- two of the last three games they have -- When he is throwing the Miami debacle. Tells me at this team playing any tougher schedule that they have left ahead of them. There's no way that this is a playoff team with -- they're currently can you know the way that the currently -- and yet we didn't really notice. I think it's most troubling here. We didn't really notice. A lot of the flaws in this team until. Brady went out. And just now -- beginning to understand you know what. Where would we be if we had Brady. Would we be four -- one would we be five and no I I'd after what I on Sunday night I can't imagine. I cannot imagine the Patriots head away. With Brady at the national animal a little way if if they got the lead of causing people to give up causing teams to basically say. Well we're not going to win this. I grew I truly believe that it is all mental. So many things are equal physically -- mentally is where you gain or lose your edge in the NFL. The Patriots had the mental -- and they've lost the key. Part to gaining that mental edge over the opponents in their quarterback. And so when we lose the quarterback that people are thinking hey they don't have the quarterback maybe we got a shot a what you start believing that mental thing kicks and and then what you start proving Andy's start you know beat them up a little bit and push our. -- a bit and shot the ball down their throats for 98 yards well then okay. All right. And I got I got so I -- of your -- and got a team that will to play with the on equal terms. When they had Brady it was on equal terms. That much team into the franchise overall. Other guys have the ability I believe still on this roster to pick up the slack and they're not doing it. Some of them can't stay healthy. Some of them. Their best days have passed them by. So I think what we're seeing is is that when Tom Brady went down we're looking at a low. -- remaking of the New England Patriots beginning the transformation has begun. The areas of your team that need attention I am willing to wager that both Scott pioli and Bill Belichick. Are aware. And have been aware of for some time all the problems on the team. Certainly they addressed at least some of that in the off season -- Jerod Mayo. Maligned backing core and try to get repeated you know time in the pre season at least for Pierre Woods and Eric Alexander. You know in keeping -- guy -- and still lecture while we have seen Shawn Crable. Com. But you know perhaps on. I think that if you got to shake things up right now. I -- him you know -- Deltha O'Neal right off the roster after that unbelievable. Performance I mean -- named him to go. -- remember Elvis to post Patterson for the giant speakers back.
