[0:00]" Let's go let's guns out how bout another golf -- want to go pot pie. That they've won mirror excuse Patriots playbook got back got combat on the fifth -- on there briefly when. Breaking down less on these -- for man coverage. And these -- really great yeah. Right at the rest of the 2008. And NFL's. And some of the foreign stuff in between now here's John look. On Patriots playbook and."
[0:41]" Get a short work week here kid right back playing football on Sunday afternoon welcome inside Patriots playbook. It's Wednesday even though we're kind of -- Tuesday mode we're going to try to cram I guess two days into one today because. Short workweek Monday Night Football with I am John wrote Mike -- from Patriots football weekly is here Mike how's it going. Not bad it's not only do an excellent excellent. Pats did of course makes a news today just a short while ago. Putting Rodney Harrison officially on of the reserve injured list the IR. They signed -- spun to replace him on the active roster. On and they also signed Dan Connolly -- And Martin Dillard to the practice squad to fill those slots as well so I can't say that becomes an eight terrific surprise too many people would think."
[1:27]" No we kind of heard over the weekend aren't they really Monday night Tuesday morning Rodney Harrison would probably be out of the year with the quality of years ago. That was how much of -- on on coming back there's a guy who's had some experience that's assuming camping on the field all last year as well. We know you kinda getting from him obviously not going to be Rodney Harrison so. They got to make -- move in terms of personnel with burner whether. And James and so that going forward but. Yeah well at a major prizes what do you think now are the chances of them possibly going after a guy like John Lynch -- they could have lynch right now. If they want to -- you would be here today but they chose -- on. Those who would they think of lynch and I think what we all off wins was not very proud of and neither -- anybody else because he's on employed. Right no chance I don't see any need to bring him back -- it's based on name and reputation only he's not the player he once was. Not even close -- that any added and only was -- in the pre season did not play well and none of us really thought. I was surprised that he was cut because it was cut goes -- the second run of the cut I thought he would need it and then a couple weeks later that they found other options okay we can do this. -- guys play -- this is no. There's no chance and coming back that it is our tails -- just. Out of curiosity do you feel in your estimation that the defensive backfield and is is set for the time being or their of the things that potentially that could happen here. Well on the -- always happen down the road depending on who becomes available there's always that chance for another transaction. The way the way bill talk about today and in terms intelligent and well you know -- run the ball well -- that you want that you find a way to make that spot available believe me they -- do if they won it. There are probably some players here who are expendable in terms of strengthening in other areas of they had to do so they would. I can't think of anybody who would become available at this point on the road. But you never know in the league you know things happen in time he's funny guy you -- pocket dial up the street that is done in the past with the guys in my don't but he Artrell Hawkins. And maybe they kind of clearly that looming after coming at some point right now that guys bond."
[3:35]" Okay fair enough so that the news of the day obviously with the 41 to seven win over Denver. On Monday night's I know that a lot of fans have to be thinking in in fact I've been thinking it you guys are probably think it is well. Distant real a much better than expected. Occurrence this is quite unexpected what happened on Monday night in and it was unexpected for a number of reasons but certainly. Back -- the team had played so poorly the week previous in San Diego. I'm not quite yet sure what to make of what we saw on Monday night what about you."
[4:06]" Well I thought they would win the game and being -- to win 41. I was surprised that it was that. Non competitive. What to -- on -- I really don't know John because this has been very it's ranked team from the start of the season one week we won in the next week we totally different yeah it's kind of funny because in fact I've seen in several different media people picked -- an effect of one which the Patriots scored thirty the next would give up thirty yeah at all -- that a lot of accounts it's that you. So that would mean that this week. You know it would be the -- Patriots that which we'll look at St. -- to -- go -- that -- right based on Saturdays on that logic yet they're due for another bad game but I do think you know with these two games back to back home. Winnable games in my mind currently with Denver the waiting at the match up planned and also it -- coming -- and OJ Lewis want to grow. I'm not buying this dramatic turnaround yet but the Rams maybe a little you Gloria complaint for a new coach and he's doing different things -- excitement. Heard the end of the day it is a lot better -- is by far. And I I from the winning team. What does that mean well will you know who won more games against tougher competition because he's seen this year has not been good it is an eagle and -- blown out. What's going to happen two weeks Indianapolis. I think that -- telltale sign -- as they come on here they when he threw home games and then go to Lucas Oil field need to get run -- tariff. That's a problem. Maybe I actually started and you back to being an up and down team that you can have seen it. Drink together three wins RO wind fortified when he to ES first point can come to any sort of conclusion on this team."
[5:41]" I would certainly agree to them but I would also say again. Trying to recall. How most teams feel like they want to be playing their best football post Thanksgiving. I'm willing to give the Patriots at least from a general standpoint. A lot of latitude here in in obviously almost the entire month of November and ordered -- quote and quote get their stuff together in an effort to try to become a team that could challenge in the playoffs now. Certainly having Indianapolis but the first litmus test for that's concerned yet I -- I think the next week against Buffalo. Maybe an even bigger in some of it is right now other game behind the bills in the standings."
[6:15]" Yet they get the bigger game in terms of where you're going forward because that's a division game and chase and the bills currently I think Indianapolis did as good barometer. If not play particularly well and again -- on on Sunday at Green Bay which -- really surprised because you know yeah I thought there but it turned the corner of the way be a bomb ball -- point that. Supposedly great -- And it has come out and -- Packers -- what -- there -- the -- coach John what do you make it difficult it seemed they need to go up and down."
[6:44]" I think that visited the two teams kind of mirror each other in terms of their inconsistencies they've had some injury problems. Obviously you know Peyton Manning had a couple of surgeries and is pleased that you don't win basically on the second one unknown to. Everybody but basically Payton and Tony Dungy appears. In in he's still obviously rounding into shape. I gotta tell ya you know in obviously Marvin Harrison has lost step and quite frankly you know I think the off field occurrences -- has certainly hurt that team. Or at least -- Marvin and up where it's affected the team at some point so. You know that's I I think that will probably in. You know lost to Michael I'll probably add that intrigue when we start talking about that we're for real and another week. So I'm not sure how much of a barometer. Indianapolis is going to beat. I mean they're kind of lumped in the are now at three and three with a lot of the teams you know not only NFL but. In the AFC yeah in terms of the playoff race is concerned I look at all the power ranking polls earlier today. And they're not in the top twelfth. In fact a word like 16117. Another so I'm thing you know while that's definitely middle the pack and and it to me that's that's very on cold like just like what we -- the Patriots being un Patriot like this for. So -- a team that obviously is having some problems just like the Patriots are. In tells me even more so that you've got to take care of business and because the Colts could be Jacqueline I -- the pats --"
[8:07]" You know money a year ago this game one the -- clash between two undefeated teams you know biggest regular game of all time. And here we are yearly do you could have a team you can have once you know three and -- are born three again maybe a five and you were born three team on our side. Right big big difference it would happen in a year both teams and and a lot of it of course is injury related."
[8:29]" Place a lot of pressure on both teams that -- from a different perspective as opposed to you know hey you know the number one seed in the conference which they've been fighting for the last couple years. I'm. Because we started kind of talking about the Rams and in obviously were trying to mix two days into one recapping a bit from Monday certainly but the taking a look forward to the Rams as well. Just sold those that are just joining us will know. In half an hour we'll have JC Pearson. On will be doing the a coworker on the fox national television broadcast. With Chris Rose on Sunday afternoon at Gillette he's going to join Ashley's former defensive back in the NFL for those that are not familiar in the nick Wagner. The senior writer for Rams dot com he's also going to join us -- our 3 o'clock error today so we'll get caught up to date on everything that is of the St. Louis Rams. In the meantime I want to step back for a moment ought to Rodney Harrison because obviously that's a significant story. Fact is is that Rodney Harrison has more than likely played his lap down. A football for the New England Patriots wanted to ask -- today while this expression on everybody's mind right now. I've got a two part question that would open up for the email and so that when we get them you can far more often than enough. We'll see how we go of that but. Right now I'm number one in your estimation is Rodney Harrison. A hall of Famer. Is Rodney Harrison and NFL hall of Famer and has he been around with a pages long enough to consider him for the Patriots. All the things. Hall of Fame Patriot place so you know there's two separate halls of fame I know he's a fan favorite he's one of those guys that. You know in all honesty. You'll love to have him on your team but when he's not on your team we talked about this a lot over the years. You know you hate him you know he's one of the most reviled guys in the league he still at the top of the most of the dirty -- players in the NFL poll that espn.com. Did before this season started. He was still at the probable lists. And I think it was. In a lot of people look at that as a respect factor there that they give him respect for the -- it was still hard hitters in the game. You know he's probably for the travelers in terms of fines as well. You know as being you know things that have accrued over his time as a player. Someone asked Patriot fans today well it's still fresh and hot -- their memory and it looks like you know Harrison was definitely put on the IR today's we've gone for the year. And -- some questions during PFW in progress. On if you think a is he a pro football hall of Famer if he's done. Class of 2014. I guess it would be right five years correct is he a potential pro football hall of Famer and Kenton. And is -- potential Patriots. Hall of Famer for his time spent as a captain and as a two time Super Bowl winner. In New England so we email address web radio -- Patriots dot com. Web radio at Patriots dot com -- you'd like to call you can do so -- 5 wait 5437482. So are going to put you on the spot -- what do you think those two questions."
[11:25]" I think he is a borderline NFL hall of Famer I think he -- very good years only in his career New England because he was utilized properly you know clearly playing in a better -- with better talent around him but of course -- made -- impact quickly get to second part of the tape. But as far as being an NFL hall of Famer I don't think he had a lot of great NFL hall aimed at San Diego. It is very good player very hard with the charges came here and revitalized career at the end. I think he'd be -- for him negated an especially based on his reputation. Around the league is being a dirty player and being cheap shot artists which I think a lot of it's justified but clearly that's the reputation that out there. That got to make it difficult to get in the NFL Hall of Fame -- are a pitcher hall of Famer. I would put him in there because I think he played as important a role in the second -- this kind of he has any player that because. After 2002 this was so terrible apparently here could not Opteron they got blown off the ball. There were an awful awful football team on the antidote to they went out and 3 they brought in a lot of guys. To rebuild this -- pants and the key part of that was -- Harris who I thought when he came in an 3. Immediately at the tone in training camp that year he was letting people while he laid out and fall. On -- big hit one game practice and I remember that being out of the tone setter as -- know what we're not going to get put her on any warranty that out today. And it did that 3 D fans. Probably the best -- and I've ever seen in the game and I haven't out of that are on how long but. Yet to in my in my generation best I've ever seen that a three team and carried over an open or they had so many injuries and -- was always a point. As a vocal leader and a leader by example back -- I think for what he did 34 season and going forward sort of taken the team for just being a you know one year wonder that title all the to being the -- and it felt kinda -- I think that's worthy of consideration and it's need to nomination and -- and the pitcher all -- no question."
[13:27]" Well I asked the question only because he's you know -- he will only played really six years or six. Seasons with the Patriots all right and he's been you don't knocked out of the season with the with season ending injuries three of the last four years. So he hasn't played a lot of full time play for the Patriots even though as to suggest he's certainly head. Some significant contributions. He made the Pro Bowl in 98. And also -- 2001. During his nine years that he played with the Chargers. Once -- what else let's see he is the only player in NFL history with thirty sacks and thirty picks. -- he's got them he's definitely got them. Era in the sanctions well exactly -- on during his sixties and the Patriots nine sacks and eight critics. So we obviously continue that and in because of the in just because of that 3030 investing you know a distinction I think he's got a very good chance of landing in canned. I would say that as it stands that because of that my guess would be he would also at some point be included. In the Patriot Hall of Fame but strange as it says you know basically only -- six years in similar usually partial yours because of injuries. I'm not sure he qualifies as someone who is. Been around long enough to hang his hat here to be in the papers all the things I -- it really did well what the criteria is number one. And I they would all have to realize that you know the guys have stickers and the Kraft family -- a large say in who makes you know the hall at Patriot place."
[15:01]" I think a lot of it it is going to end up being to take done thousands beyond I think there -- many players from this current run. That it contributed so much they're going to get in because of the overall as a team. Fond of saying with the team was great all yet like I played a big -- that to put him -- put him in. It almost that when -- retiring numbers he just retired everybody who -- impact on our new team. But I think the reason I pick Aaron because that the fans being that dramatic improvement from 2. To the deepest that we now orally -- for a good for a five year stretch you know with the injuries I think he was the big he was the main. Cog and then machine over the years. Basically know three you know for me adding that his contributions those who Superbowl teams cannot go one note."
[15:49]" Where he was find well over 200000 dollars at least by the totals that I can -- appear. In his time in the NFL in fact one game. Cost him a check he was suspended one game in 2002. For that helmet to helmet hit on -- rights when rice was with Oakland. The cost him a game check of 100000. Dollar effort for that when they don't know like yeah I wonder if because of that. Because of the quote unquote dirty nature of his reputation. If that will keep some. Who have -- they still in this keeping him away from home for."
[16:25]" While you think it will yeah I think exactly that -- time -- think his reputation of the partner I think that baseball happens in every sport. Weary guys aren't voted in because of the kind of people that others think they yard and the reputation having anybody who knows Rodney here knows he's in a guy absolute class guy -- nice guys we'll talk to now locker room I think we hit it to I'll get to know a guy before he can make that option."
[16:47]" We can balance he is you know you know shall we say violent nature on the field. With the fact that he's a good guide the media here effect -- has always been a standup guy. He's always been you know available relatively so whenever you know the times are there to talk to easily been very forthright in his answers. Fairly easy to talk to an interview seems like a great guy I think it's part of the reason why fans love him when he's on your team dislike San Diego fans loved him and and a lot of them still think very highly. Of him but that when he's all your team to look at him his home like I can't believe right guy's terrible he's a dirty player so in that regard I wonder. His ability to translate he is true nature or at least what we think would be -- true nature to the media. As being something certainly that will go in his favor."
[17:34]" It's up to say and I don't know if it's just you know him reporters may have that. That sort of chip on their shoulder and because in the news may have never met him at all but they'd look at all the fine. And look at some of the utley hit an -- and thinking of this guys is now all named Albert. Annika or club people's judgment it happened in the -- another sport. Where they've tried pickle famers and guys look at him because of the perception. Not not necessarily what they've done on the field. Yeah and -- and not sure though that are seen on the field. Is necessarily Hall of Fame board advocate of big debate but I mean he's -- close as though it is is no definitive answer one way or the other for me. -- no chance are accessible -- thinking and maybe sitting on the fence on my part I really think he's Portland now."
[18:21]" Okay and that's what we asked the question because I'd love to get. In some feedback from fans today based on their opinion whether or not they think Rodney Harrison as the is pro football hall of Famer and -- repeat trio -- so please share with us your thoughts on Rodney Harrison. At web radio at Patriots dot com that's our email address 5 wait 54374. 82 is the telephone numbers aren't so Harrison is done it's bound -- spot has been re signed as well think it was -- spot on the roster. We've seen Brandon Meriweather I think this year perhaps come into his own. A little bit more you know he got his third interception of the season money out of the win over Denver. Likely. If you will move into the starting role maybe with the exception or two here in their but I I think it's generally considered it he's probably going to get first crack -- it won't. You talk about Meriweather whether --"
[19:11]" Yeah I think he's not a starter now but all that position the next game and I think they're role may river in terms of who's going to play close the line that they've backed deep in pass coverage. Society now Sanders and Andy Hart and I agree on this -- the guy who'll come up I think mark. As the the superior tackler mountain -- Whereas Meriweather I think there's a better job in pass coverage putting the media. Everywhere that and now it's three interceptions he's clearly figured something out this year has worked on hand. And all I know he's a ball hawk. He's no -- plays back there and and I think at times when Anders left -- and playing up close line. I -- it has made some -- on those big plays and just take funny rout of the ball on coverage. And that all of that alarming to me of perhaps now. You can emphasize his heels older more put in a position where he's going to be a better football player. And the -- duty as well whereas you put Meriweather back here now at the same time. He plays he can pass coverage etiquette rankings you know you you deepened today that the main hit a particular Harris is the -- now. Announce that of having meriwether Asia there at AT and earned. Nickel or dime package it's it's it's now -- that that's big difference in the guy after the start to look beyond. We -- Harrison getting up there in age and we knew that coming into the season and we knew Meriweather was a first round pick my sure public enemy to jump. There were probably of people who thought perhaps Meriweather could be -- by the end of the year. Maybe he'd be maybe he would move into that role eventually naturally. But now obviously it's been forced by injury so. You know perhaps the changing of the guard here."
[20:55]" I -- that's I think that's at saying it exactly what is going to mention I think what it is basically transpired here is that this is they'd be changing of the guard you never like to see it happen. Due to an entry but it is sort of hastened to. The process in terms of you know is sort of passing the torch from you know one you know player who has Hall of Fame credentials. On to you know someone who came in as a highly touted traffic and a guy like Brandon Meriweather."
[21:19]" The big opportunity for him too because. You know he he sort of make an impact toward the end of last season he was starting out -- on special teams obviously but he came on strong at the end. Got a lot of playing time and though he's an had a big training camp this summer a -- pre season now is off to a good start. It has continued here now because there really -- dependent and made those plays keep making them more so they -- For or five weeks they don't have that a network Harrison anymore and now at a time where whether. And they're really live up to the billing as number one pick as you can look at the other side of the coin -- utley with Clark Ernie. As a first round pick not getting it done now he's on IR. They don't really need to -- to disappointment in as many years it's really you know and that -- here at the time from Ireland and step up to keep doing what he's doing. It has to be big for everything you do that."
[22:08]" that was another thing I was gonna mention not that it comes as a huge surprise to anybody that -- which only was put on injured reserve just before the game. On Monday so it means he's done for the year are you ready to qualify him as a bust. Maroney -- I'm really close I think this a big chance he's not going to be back next year. I don't know when I told that the somebody Monday night effect Michael and they look at me like I had three kids that -- what what are you talking about it means just his third year blah blah -- did this man and and he rushed for almost a hundred yards to gamble the last six games last year and and I should go right or we have we have this right we haven't seen it consistently number one number two that's what makes this year so much of a tremendous disappointment right the fact is is that we were led to believe that he was finally coming into his own end here is he's taken other huge step backward again so. You know I have I've never been Maroney fan you know that in the end have been hammered on him left and right over the course let. Couple you're just because the question is their ability and I think now. I think we all have to which he used -- ability that cannot be doubted any longer now says he has other issues -- is time to come out with some of those issues right now like WB page -- real long and it would not shock me. With a -- the year after this from left on his deal the Patriots found a way to new deal him cutting him. -- whatever but the very least they are now going to be in my estimation in the market for a running back beit rookie or by trade this next offseason."
[23:34]" Yeah and with one year left on that rookie contract -- can get out of that. Without really hurt them financially then that's not that are really kill the cap it could be done if they really want him out of here. It could get done. Now at the same time you try to get that thing in return something -- of sort of value but I don't know what the market is -- injury prone running back -- has -- you know what you get a -- really got to come out you're looking maybe you know I had one way or the other if they don't want him back. You will be gone and think and -- he's the boss and I think that's what they'll lean towards the Al leading toward but because they haven't seen we seen those classes John we saw it last year in the amber. He ran extremely hard. Really carried this team offense down as does the pass game heads up a little bit sure it is great teams start to figure things out now their game any for the Patriot passing game. And Maroney have courted took the -- there and any heat he carried the load down and had a great job the playoffs as well. But it hasn't carried over this year even before he got hurt -- had any knowledge that he was hurt he was not run the football while."
[24:36]" This is now three significant players obviously -- that are put on IR. Guys all have focal points you know two on offense now one on defense for this football team and yet they financials foreign to. After you know 67 weeks as it is and with a resounding victory over over Denver on Monday night or what you take away. From the Denver game on Monday that what what left a lasting impression in your mind."
[25:02]" I would probably say anymore. And the way he. Carry the load offensively that was a big night for him for a number reasons number one because. Did you do with the attitude and bat Monday and took advantage number to a kind of -- that day because they just announced -- Ernie. Transaction putting him on IR and they think -- she's going to do here and Morris comes out a career high 130 yards all of the first half. And that's Italy at its own from the star they pushed and her around defensively and that's they needed to do and an -- on the nets take away from it. Now I don't know Morris that is going forward he's now stated they out resume and well he played on the you know I don't know it's not a hot day. Given the court the past if you can now for caution. What kind of thought that was the case because I ever heard in uttered from a couple of guys that he was walking around normally after the game so there's some positive -- and it think you know. Best big needs stupidity you run the ball I doubt you when you run the ball the way they -- rated on Monday that American has has an eighteen of 24. Three touchdowns no interceptions. Not all on his shoulder. And that's why you board and that's -- you brewer fire running back -- camp this year. Because I think there were anticipating. A little more -- on the resolutely glad to even injuries to the back they were so good last should throw the ball that he was going to take that away now early try to. And they needed to have a second weapon. In -- author. And that's why they kept those running back and now they'll lose those running back up and right but it anymore and fill that void. Long enough to give it to the post season they -- who can do from there but he needs somebody right now to -- Everybody has picked up the lack in it would be really tough if they lost him -- and third time."
[26:49]" He but surprisingly so in fact have been Jarvis Green Ellis. Ran pretty strongly of the night but I I'm not sure with a not. And -- and and with all due respect him and to the offensive line -- which I thought had a good. Game against the run or running run blocking up that they were. Fairly porous especially in the first half against the pass again which is one of the problems of this team you know needs to work on and we'll get a little bit but. You know frankly I wasn't sure -- it was Green-Ellis or was -- it Denver's."
[27:17]" all -- the run well. When you see. -- I'll come into almost name being interested in terms yards -- and you can't get deepens a little bit. But he made some -- runs and he's strong runner -- really talked how to vote today to -- the lord of the grounds it exactly what you want from running back out. He's got the frame for that now I don't know going forward or what sort of option -- would -- really need to get. If if they don't have more immediate LaMont Jordan that absolute at Green-Ellis can't be the guy you know he's not going to be that guy right now I don't think Kevin Faulk is -- right now anymore either I think the guy is a change of pace back. A guy gets -- a pass out of the backfield. A weapon on special teams I'm very accurate or trade him if you need to right the beyond that it hurts you. And it it would go hungry -- he gave 125 carries in the game. They keep getting you know -- you know Damian say yeah right going to be difficult yeah. Right so. It have any idea where LaMont Jordan is on his rehab with a -- Well actually single more optimistic about that today can ask if he's shown Germany yes you know and they did day you know on and so forth but -- more upbeat about it and he and the -- that Jordan is back healer and Goran or. So I think he'll be back it's been a couple of weeks now. I would not be surprised if you see him out there on Sunday you don't anymore that it be sort of the trade off yet to give him a week derail the immediate and actually be perfect timing with no week in between. Right one guy getting hurt and coming back and out is like one guy coming back as the day terror. Obviously liked to have both that he can't happen you need to happen -- wind and I would think that Jordan is guy now close to coming back while more. Maybe he had this week maybe act would be to maybe it's nothing you know outlook --"

[31:52]" Well let Tommy here again we're Sunday means you're doing something football. Whether it tailgating in the parking lot throwing the -- get around to just hang in in in watching the game on the tube it's all about football. And when you're not watching football or playing football well I think we both know you're thinking football and all that could make -- little Hungary. That's why there's -- tasty neck wrap from McDonald's. -- now come in your choice of three flavors did you -- to barbecue honey mustard and -- and they're available with grilled crispy chicken. Delicious and easy to eat it perfect game time neck. Grab one today and when you do if you're looking at that you can collectively kind of remind you of the quarterback in the middle of the pocket and now he's surrounded by each interject G rated -- and let us. Well VP you're thinking a little too much about football. McDonald's I'm -- it."
[32:55]" Walked back into the play before Wednesday John looked. Mike Brady. POW. We'll have but Jason Anderson from fox -- a few minutes. Or the Patriots host the Rams 1 o'clock eastern time game first of all it'll be good to get back -- 1 o'clock eastern time games don't you think like. He have elected to thank god. But this overnight killing us there and on the -- and unfortunately we got a couple of might -- to get to go would nevertheless. It be nice to have an afternoon game I think and especially though as the weather starts to close out the round here it's kind of rough around here today. The Patriots have been and your where it is Michael that. You know it's been pretty good run against teams in the NFC. In recent seasons in fact. The overall record against -- NFC teams for the Patriots since 2001. He's 28 and five. I don't know. If that speaks to just you know the dominance the Patriots -- speaks to the NFC. Being shall we say a junior league. Compared the AM -- a lot of ways over the course of the last few years I evidently is probably a little bit of both alike great. But what St. Louis is intriguing this week. In the fact that I."
[34:05]" I'm not sure a lot like the Patriots I'm not sure what kind of it was democracy. Well. You know this team that are known more so I think we're we're pretty certain of these -- not a very good football team and defense leads to battle year. -- called -- a lightning in the bottle with Jim has it coming in and taking over as head coach. After firing out inning and they brought back. An old school quarterback they had over the years that is sure to deepen a little bit they brought back Marc Bulger starter and hand wanted to go -- Trent Green. -- came in is no or oral set with that -- it pretty apparent that has that is on idea. Tony I got a chance not a coach again there he's implementing what he wanted to begin with but. I think this is a bad bad football team that on Sunday and United that is a sort of come off that guy that you Loria avenue -- It's got to go back to the norm again as often for us for a week media beat up a couple of times earlier this year. And they turn the tables on downs of a doubt is not playing with a quarterback -- You get after the cowboy -- do Brad Johnson out there -- not very effective at all so I think that would grant all too."
[35:17]" I'm going to ask this of nick Wagner in the next hour and -- in hopes of he'll give us an honest answer but. At least -- to make you feel like you know that that Rams team had quit on Scott Linehan."
[35:27]" Yet I think that was the reason he's -- I think -- law controlled the locker room all the reports I read indicated. And when that happens. What -- really -- you really can't go on any further the guy does not have. The -- divided attention of players. And players enough playing hard for him. Many half ago Rivera have anything you know anything that kind of the difference between. Situation. And what was going on and Oakland or let the Raiders are playing hard for Lane Kiffin. Even with all the all the nonsense going on behind the curtain they were out there playing hard and competing and they won a couple of games for him to want it 11. Day. But they were playing a lot better than we at least last year to me and he's me. And whereas a living hand it to him like he lost control of player as when agree with the move you make ends of the guys who got cut who were. Popular players in the locker room and invention of Marc Bulger. This like everybody was on board and that's really the only time that you that you can endorse a coaching change during -- to me. Is that he is has the respect of the players and you blow -- locker room it's on movement."
[36:33]" I think Jim has what was all all always thought of as being a very good football coach in that and there are some even that feel like he got it. Got -- a raw deal when he left New Orleans. And that would probably be a matter time somebody took a shot to me if Peters. That he was one of these now right place the right time cunning guys -- I would agree that Eli did an okay job in New Orleans Dallas spectacular -- I -- he never could seem to get them to that next level now and course St. Louis is trying to get back to that level. I don't know what and you'll be able to take the Rams to the level in which they aspire which he now -- like a division champ -- type thing but. You know so far you have him the first two games I mean they stunned Washington. You know NB a Redskins team a lot of people thought may have been one of the best in the NFC and then they just plastered the Dallas Cowboys his last weekend in which the Cowboys -- clearly team that. You know in a bit of this arena with the injuries and some of -- internal things going on but nevertheless they beat the crowd of cowboy well the thing is."
[37:28]" Do you has is that he's an offensive coordinator and a guy who's supposed to be defensive mastermind. And yet is he fit in or were never any good. And now he's inheriting an -- as. When he was coaching this year for the four games -- coordinator -- an awful deep so where this masterminds in the Brian Billick who both -- great offense genius the the other court in -- developer of young quarterback you can find a single quarterback a that it Trent Dilfer the Kuwaiti teams in Baltimore. -- tiger won -- all the great defense ever any had a journeyman quarterback who's there to manage the game. So you know I think the -- Asian kind of heat has little -- he's not going to win much this year he's won two in a row now but they're not going to go on and into turn -- nine at it now -- at all. And -- that come back down to earth a little bit this team played well here this team has always played well -- stadium. This is a good matchup but a good week for them now coming off this big win over Denver to build on a little bit -- at least -- two in -- Before you found sorority gaining go to Indianapolis -- should probably via competitive. If not interest in game."
[38:35]" But what for what it's worth this is the first of two teams coming to Gillette Stadium this season that are making their first ever appearance. In Gillette Stadium right and the Cardinals both are making their first ever appearances and played the first ever games here. In the Patriots relatively new facility but not that that really means a heck of a lot but this is a -- the Rams will be totally unfamiliar with -- Yeah they're here don't want to deal -- deal -- or AM very competitive game with Kurt Warner that your. Jose and in any team. John McLaren called correctly it was and it was a 24 to seventeen win for the rim yeah that made the Patriots five and five. After they lost in courses we all know the turnaround and ripped off a bunch -- In the face the Rams in the Super Bowl but a lot of people think that that night certainly against the Rams gave the Patriots. It least in the back demise the ball that hey we can compete with these guys yeah they're the elite of the NFL. We should be -- and so a lot of people look at the last meeting with the Rams in Foxboro as being in the game that began to really kind of turned things around yet at."
[39:39]" Kind of dinner and our line to me that team in 1 reminds me of the Giants losing to New England in the pre in the season finale last year. Yeah going into the playoffs taking an undefeated team to the brink. And everybody that I locker and that gave us confidence going into the post season and in the -- deal. It's similar tagline. I wondered how many fans remember as well you know talk about some similarities here between the Patriots and Rams some of the history that they've actually head. Over the years -- election remember back in about 1993. How close they really came to moving to St. that's good point two -- out of it was not. The parties coming here four or five then yellow -- yelled about it she's -- Andy -- is said. -- noted fifteen years ago now okay I was fourteen. Not -- up a okay you press that -- yeah but it's early and you certainly -- football -- out early cognizant of -- is going on around here at the time you know I knew what was Horry. -- right they were real close and making that -- very -- go James James Busch north wind. Who bought the team -- Inge and and took it away basically. It took him for a song and dance way from victor -- There were very close to moving the team to St. Louis and they had you know buyers and they all sat. Well until the -- ultimately stepped in which you know basically saved the franchise but yeah -- the Patriots had one foot out the door -- percent Willis."
[41:02]" You know funny we were talking about John -- what to back from the team going forward we had an email from one of our house idea jeans jeans and Roanoke rapids. Who ask -- and -- I know it's always on the field Monday night was a Patriots team we can expect anymore in the season. All is the result is a product of a Patriot indeterminate proves something combined with Denver or play. Now he -- I definitely think a lot of -- was Denver too I mean they're they're bad team to meet offensively. And take a little bit overrated overall just based on what their record isn't how the town really panned out. But the same time I eager to repeat his credit for coming out and and and forcing five turnovers. Taking advantage of that differentials scoring points off those turnovers and finally getting something done -- their red zone after -- sluggish start Monday night. And we had the biggest go to the big factor there so but again. We really don't know going forward what's going to happen it would it would anybody in our league and that is the Rams are as bad as they they are now. Would you be shocked -- they came on law and they've given the back and forth to -- here."
[42:06]" No right no not at all. Have and I think that's part of the thing that's so unpredictable about not all of the Piccard -- about the Rams as well as the fact that. You know the Patriots have been up and down and up and down just kinda like you know being on on on -- swing set. And let's get a little bit that if we can."
[42:22]" JC Pearson will be up. Part of via NFL on fox Copeland likely team with them Chris Rose on Sunday at Gillette Stadium former Kansas City and Minnesota Vikings. Defensive back in the NFL he joined us here inside the playbook. JC it's John rookie Mike Brady. How Horry and well our -- and I. Excellent he make sure Dan that you love have him a pipe through the means the other we -- what you are now we got you JC how's it going. Well -- doing all right doing right everything's fantastic here especially after Monday night's game what were your thoughts and know watching the Patriots against the Broncos."
[42:58]" Well they look at it definitely. But my first thought was all they. Back -- factor at -- was -- that bad you know you know the Patriots you know are talking you let it go obviously they've been up and down this year. You don't know what Steve you're going to do it really in you know it seem like I'm wondering expect. Last that was kind of game that they turn the corner and they're getting back to where they work previously we're not going to. You know without Tom Brady without Maroney now about air and they are not going to be -- network last year black. You know you wonder if they're going to be more consistent. Than they've been so far this year."
[43:37]" I think that in this particular instance were all thing in the very same thing we're not really sure. Whether or not it was Denver and their inability to stop the run or the Patriots were really that good going up the middle. We're not short and really not sure what can a team I think St. who's going to bring in. On Sunday appearance -- would because of what we've seen over the last couple weeks it's been a great step in the right direction. At least for their program under a coach has -- but tells me that. It looks like those players that kind of given up on them on the Scott Linehan so I guess any change was going to be good change."
[44:12]" Right in the just a breath of fresh here for how much they get the same players. Pretty much the same system and now they're getting more production out those guys. Seemed to have more energy as well we -- would get on Monday seem like they have more energy and I saw them earlier in the year well. You -- for the -- You know but I think that he's an intense guy. But I think just the reality -- they've made some changes they'd be fired Eric coat so they would hesitate to get rid of any of the players. I think sometimes that reality to slap in the face wakes you up on YouTube player of the."
[44:51]" He did think St. Louis sort of feeding off their right now these last couple of games with a bit of a change of scenery and there they have some kind of you or your playing for a new coach and and it's so to expect that the kind of wear off at some point."
[45:03]" Well I think that your for the euphoria comes from the last two games I don't know it's so much from. From it but the fact that they beat Washington and beat Dallas I think gives them a lot of confidence. Going in the new England and now they're not. You know. Doubt himself now I think they're there they've really believe that they can go apparent weight after beating those two teams in the NFC east. Which I think few weeks ago if -- and the made the changeover and -- didn't make betrayed ended when those two games. You know I think -- Probably rough electoral because they've probably wouldn't believe that they could play -- I think -- a whole different ball game because their confidence level is there. And I really think that they probably believe that they can go there -- now."
[45:50]" build on that for just a minute if we can't because and you're just getting into your -- study for this week especially on the Rams where their concern but. Where do you feel like they're overall improvement really has come from over these last couple weeks since coach has what has that taken over."
[46:05]" It's been defensively. Not just sit on -- sub ball the same guys. It's not like they had any superstars injured and make those guys that they've all been there defensively they were giving up wait wait too many big plays. Over the top can beaten secondary. They've really improved. Leonard Little was -- god it was kind of banged up he's getting healthier and how to get into the quarterback a little better. I think it really starts there and it was Steven Jackson run in the law. You know everybody -- held out of training camp were probably wasn't in the best shape. The first few weeks but he's really come on the last couple weeks as well and you know there's going to play well I think Marc Bulger. Early on in the year I had them against Seattle and you really didn't look like a good quarterback. It looked like he was -- like he really wasn't sure himself. And what I saw last week the last two weeks is guided. Is more comfortable like the bolts are all electric they're really starting to come around and play up to their potential."
[47:10]" We are trying don't you know take a look at St. Louis obviously. Through a little bit different set of lies and the only. -- the concerns that the Patriots have obviously with the fact that it's been such an up and down team. An up and down season and now we put two more players within the last couple of days on injured reserve this year and Laurence Maroney. -- Rodney Harrison and so the injuries have certainly hit new England and yet they have figured out away at least two bomb. I don't know plane. At least close to where they've been the last couple years. I am I'm wondering if you've seen anything. In the Patriots. That tells you that they can perhaps sustained. Somewhat what they may have shown a Monday night."
[47:53]" Well they're thinking about the Patriots that it's so impressive throughout the only people always talk about this. Is that they've always found ability to -- people. Guys -- You know probably more superstars elsewhere -- you never really heard -- might be young rookie guys may be free agent. They've always been able to applaud those guys into that system. And still be very successful. You know you've got to give Belichick and that's staff a lot of credit for that. Is that what I watch those guys it really. Taylor think -- try to make their system. Jeered around with their players are able to do. And a lot of coaches don't do that a lot of coaches just had their system and they try to make their players fit the system and that doesn't always work. And I figured you know traditionally. Away what has been a team that makes adjustments. -- the strengths of the guys play so I think obviously. You know Tom Brady's been out Malone is now out air -- out you know I think bill adjust their their systems just the victor. To do with those guys do that -- in the back of guys. As opposed to just making him try to fit whatever. -- here cinema world used to do."
[49:08]" What do you like about this Patriots team if you look at it right now what stands out to you in terms of doing a really solid job well."
[49:16]" The best thing about them is that they've done it. And there's no substitute for that. They still have a lot of guys on the team a lot of veterans they can play well that have been -- they know how to win it. And that may sound cliche ish. But it's really not because you you'd be surprised at. Expecting to win in knowing how to win versus a team like say St. Louis. Who is really you know they they hope to win they're still not really sure that every time we diplomats feel we should -- and if we play up to our expectations and you know you hear everybody has talent around legal question but you always hear it became as one middle and I think they have that -- And they'll continue to edit and they can get the quarterback. Playing at a high level. Keep the running game -- first of all and take a lot of pressure awful and so he doesn't have to try to win the game itself. You know I think bill -- a lot of games this year."
[50:12]" Yet seems like -- look at some of the stuff on the Iran went there right now they released -- tennis and yesterday. Another moving -- players as late as it took over that there have been a lot changes made immediately. Whether it be bringing back -- now moved me here. Was that much of divide you think and that coaching gap between what has that are what what the Linehan was doing what the players and coaches thought should be done."
[50:36]" Yeah I think there definitely was there and -- letting -- tie it up it really attic and I. The morale on the team just wasn't any good and you know I've talked about expecting to win it warning -- everybody says we want to and but they really didn't seem like the energy was hired as soon as something that happened. Whether you play calling or whatever the case may be seeing Mike they would go on tank. But now they seem to be re energized. You know rejuvenated and you mentioned yeah he can and getting cut. And and firing one thing about players. Is that the greatest motivated for players is fear and if you ever a year like you're going to lose your job or you're going to lose your position. That you aren't you might think you're playing hard but it took you get called out and put you know put on the front line. You you turn your game up and I think that's what happens a lot of those guys ever comment. He's real intensity calls some guys out and you need to respond or or you get cut or. Or -- and I think Gardner also got a response."
[51:43]" I think that's of kind of a neat thing about it when you watch a team try to turn it around into an about face. During the course of the season. What kind of energy gets injected into the system and above all I think Jim has has certainly brought that the St. Louis because. Two weeks ago before the game against -- Washington. I think St. Louis is considered may be one of the worst if not the worst team in the NFL."
[52:05]" Body doesn't matter a couple of weeks makes say they were considered. They have more Kansas City the worst team in the utley you know and now they go out they beat the red scare in the beat. America's game the Cowboys to a lot of people thought. Just a few weeks ago was the best team in the league and now you know people look at your whole different light."
[52:26]" Well that's that's the beauty of the NFL things can turn really. Well in a matter of days if not a couple of weeks. And I think it's done that for St. Louis or at least it appears that -- that it -- it -- it may be that way for the Patriots but the biggest question around here though. JC is affected we're not sure which -- team shows up from week to week. -- like one week they can score thirty the next week they give up thirties so to look over some consistency in the wind and."
[52:51]" He had no question but you know obviously they expectation level vary so much higher also. You know it's surprising to me and it's funny to me. -- forward to. What people -- like you know they're like that are written a ballclub they're not good anymore than that. But you know you -- so you're still -- something right it's just that the expectation level and it what they've done you know on the the past few years -- You know everybody expects him to be undefeated you know if you lose the game and all of sudden you know the world come to an end. They still have a very good nucleus so they're obviously battling some injuries. But other still a very good team like you sit there and consistency get some more consistency but you know I think got that worked itself out what what do you."
[53:36]" Think that is what even the perception is that even with a guy like Tom Brady going down. Why do you think. New media what do you -- national guys have given up on the Patriots."
[53:46]" Well just because there's -- expectation again there undefeated last year. You know through the regular season although it to a Super Bowl. And so people expect him to win and they expect from the blow everybody out they put up you know. Crazy numbers last year and everybody knows that you're not going to duplicate those numbers black. You have expectations. Not just last year with the freakish you know they've been so good for so long. It obviously with Tom Brady going to out that going to -- up big loss. But still people think Patriots -- they still let everybody else that Randy market that all these other guys. You know they expect to go to -- to go blow everybody out every week and that's just not you know well."
[54:29]" No it is not was so what are your expectations than four. For this Sunday and what do you think at St. Louis will be able to will make this a competitive game I think we all feel here that it will be because we don't know what kind of well kind of a Patriot you -- but what are your expectations for some."
[54:45]" I figure it's gonna that would be competitive game. I'm sure there are going to command and focus on stopping the run and try to make Matt Cassel beat. I'm sure that's going to be focused. Throughout the year people are going to want to see Matt Cassel and winning game four I think defensively they've got to continue to play well and take the ball away. They can't give up the big plays down elected like they did against San Diego. Because that's on -- don't think Marc Bulger Torry Holt in this it's not Avery. -- their speed receiver Albert there one -- feel unsure because people thing. Other people have success against and so they're going to have to limit the big plays. And then Matt -- going to have to not turn the ball -- You know just basic simple stuff but it also -- cliches but those that think they're really win games for."
[55:36]" Good stuff. JC -- again a former Kansas City Minnesota defensive back part of the antebellum Fox Broadcast crew will be in Gillette Stadium on Sunday over the Patriots in the St. Louis Rams JC thank you for the time today we'll -- seeing you on Sunday. All right they -- thank. Pretty good insight and thought yeah overall Mike. Fact is is that you know as he kind of goes to his progression and he learns what the Rams are all about the Patriots -- about. The fact that he's seen the Rams before. It's not like at least there's a little bit of intrigue added to the fact that the St. Louis having won the last couple games they've played certainly shouldn't make this a more competitive game that looked like it was going to be to a three weeks ago they."
[56:16]" It -- of them are interesting because they had been -- coming in here on though they haven't really be a game all but. They're facing a team that won a couple of games in a row and has a new coach though. Is it still not a big barometer to me that's going to be next week. What you till I see how his team responds after big victories -- at Iowa panic carry over -- do we get now because. Yea -- can you can be high one minute and very low the next one of these peaks valleys continue. Regardless of the opponent I think I Kamal that demons and dementieva had to be talking about having fun doing all those things again. On Sunday as they weren't Monday night against that are that that's the big question -- me. Right right well and you got to get up and his -- the bottom which on the spot first -- quickly what are your thoughts and for Sunday and more than a Patriots get a win. I think they went by at least two touchdowns really bad -- Yeah -- it could be a late are down but I think it's sort of the games that could be a little sluggish early but eventually you'll wear down. -- with their own running game -- who's out there I don't think the Rams have very good rugby fan but I think it will run the ball ball into the -- will again -- vision. And at the start on him minor improvement him on a weekly days. Small little things -- but nonetheless improvement and I think of -- and continue --"

[1:02:37]" Wagner senior writer from Rams dot com -- will be joining us and them get the Samir emails. I have to admit that them. Little perplexed. But what I saw on Monday night and talked about about this in the opening on the program. With Michael there's a little while ago so I'm not quite ready to say that. You know this is a team that can't be this or should be that I don't know what we're going to seek -- I'm I'm really looking for some consistency here. Estimate that. At least we also kind of Warner -- what can Rams team we going to see on Sunday as well. I don't have to admit that after a 41 to seven win. On Monday night. Normally since that earlier that you know because. A BS schedule this week we had a combined going to Tuesday and Wednesday show into one day today so August this qualifies as nitpick Tuesday as we normally do. Picked and it's at a below the previous week's game. I can't find nobody needed to pick. I really care. I I think that we can -- I think the one thing that really bothers me the most about Monday night's game. Was the inconsistent play in the offensive line I did some improvement. Certain with the run game was concerned -- large a lot of that can be attributed to was Stephen Neal return although he. Played heavily just second. On Monday night as -- recall -- up at them and I don't have the the plate Church in front -- mom. But any certainly at -- you know count some of that I mean he'd a lot of his damage in the first half without Neal and send more rested. And I I just I felt like the offensive line in terms of pass blocking is still getting pumped. I steal -- susceptible to the speed rush on the end. And I still feel like you're susceptible to you know the blitz right up the middle woman over power. You know open and go to 11 against him. I just. The Patriots still have a lot of work to do aware of the pass rush is concerned and granted some of it. Of the six sacks that Matt Cassel had to go through a Monday night. I am willing to give him blamed for maybe a couple of them. Largely because he probably held on the ball too long and I I could sense especially in the second half the game on Monday. I can sense the fans whenever Cassell -- back to pass and and he would start to move out of the pocket. Fans screaming in the stands."
[1:05:02]" I don't know I don't know."
[1:05:05]" You may have been one of them yourself. Get a bit of it whatever it may be. And I think that's his biggest fault I think you know sometimes -- still holds onto the ball too long and try that you would probably you know. Put the blame of at least couple sacks on him from Monday. But but forced sex is still. Still too many. For my -- H it's way too many fourteen that again at three Pro Bowl offensive lineman last year and I'm kind of holding this offensive line up to those standards and I realized. -- that may or may not be fair but when you consider the guys who may the Pro Bowl last year. And those guys are still win this football team than. What's the difference. I think we're realizing now that Tom Brady headed and it ability to you know make. All of the players around him offensively better especially. Those on the offensive line because of his ability to you know step into the little crease in the pocket or to sidestep -- to you know get rid of the ball quickly. Snapped off a roll like he had two or even to throw one away. Or as Matt Cassel still try to go down his list of progression and check off it is primary receiver he is not open. And they scrambling out of the pocket and he's looking over option CDE and F down the field and he's got guys barreling down on it. You just can't. -- just can't undervalued the ability. -- know the -- fans and to have replicated yet time after time after time. And it's only going to take more time until Cassell can become more comfortable. Sort of what to expect that he was going to be. Anywhere close Tom Brady it's just it's ludicrous. It's idiots it's just it is just it's ridiculous things you can't see however where he is improving it's a slow learning deeper. And it's only going to continue to get better with more repetitions in practice. With more familiarity with the receivers. -- team chemistry. More chances more game like situations in practice as well as in the games themselves. I mean I sensed that at least he moved out of a dangerous situation in the pocket better than he had previously I don't know about you. And I think that's again with the offensive line has to continue to improve because they have to know -- They have to knowing they had anticipate okay. We gotta go to -- you know 11000 to 10031000. And then -- going to take off right something along those lines anyway. So if they can think like that and they could be in sync with him. That I think we'll probably see better pass blocking right now they're just still not there yet and hopefully it will get that way. It before Cassel gets himself killed in the it's going to be Kevin O'Connell turn. I'm not so sure we want to go through starting all over. All over again doing a book that's what's going to happen if -- doesn't figure a way to get rid of the football. August you know -- is really twofold number one. Pass blocking for the offensive line number two. Castles and ability to really recognize win -- to get rid of the ball or take a sack. How's that for -- you have you -- it picks and also include them web radio act Patriots dot com in addition to your thoughts on Rodney Harrison with a -- he thinks more than you think. He is Andy on pro football hall of Famer -- Patriots hall of Famer. In some five years from now if indeed his career is over his week. I think we're all expecting -- will be as -- was put on injured reserve list today. Aren't let's get a couple of emails on this from come from our friend John says. John my nit picked for today after a great game on Monday night its excuse time. Beginning with a Monday Night Football announced -- by the way. Up -- in -- honestly. There's anybody absorb more abuse. In terms of announcers but Tony Kornheiser. I don't actually think he does a terrible job. Does he really adding any analysis no but then again he's not their. To -- analysis. And then you would say it will then why is -- overall I'm going to tell you why Tony Kornheiser is there okay. This is what went -- and won the love in the ESP. Relevant because he's a reverent okay they love him because. He has a sort of and an every man type of approach to his writing. Into his radio broadcasting when he was a full time radio broadcast with the is in radio. You know and you know obviously people love him for his of these Washington Post columns over the year he's doing radio -- and they they just liked Tony's way of self deprecating way if you will of not only attacking him but attacking other people. And being kind of hip about it and even though he may be you know fifties older -- easily you know sixties. Well age he's got a very thirties attitude about him that's why they love him he trends and news. EE transcends. Generation really. He can relate to guys who were my age I'm 49. In older than me he relates to guys like that in yet. I think a lot of ways Tony Kornheiser can also relate to those who were younger and that's what they like him because he can appeal to one play people pour. He can -- awful -- people put that fact is is that people watch and they listen. And if they're reacting to Tony Kornheiser hated to hear what corners at one knuckle it. The package reacting. Hitter the fact is that you are taking the time to -- act. You still watch. If he is negative performances. If he is negative. Performances. Directly impacted ratings he'd be gone like you know what -- groups as soon as you know I mean that quickly. That quickly. But they like his chemistry with Mike to Rico. And they like the fact that you know jaws who you know was obviously on the program this last last week and in obviously is fabulous analyst. And does his job as well as anybody. As well as anybody in the NFL today. They dislike him being sort of the glue guy a guy that Dennis Miller never was. They like Tony Kornheiser. As a modern day Howard Cosell okay -- those -- rolled -- remembered Monday Night Football. In all its glory. With you know frank Gifford and dandy Don Meredith and Howard Cosell he's Howard. He's the coast style role. He's the glue guy he's the every -- that they have a particular football expertise when he first started out. He was a journalist. He was a radio guy for number of years he was also a writer for number years and at -- that's exactly what Kornheiser. You know cosell was significant because of the you don't know nasty twang he had in the accident but he added the people like to make fauna and people -- thought of Tony Kornheiser for different reasons. But the thought of it. Doesn't matter they know that corner that you can take it he could take what you dish out. And he can spit it right back at you and that's what cosell did so very very well for number of years. It was so obviously developed unbelievable. Chemistry. On the air with Gifford -- And it's the same thing they're hoping that Kornheiser will eventually do with -- Rico and Jaworski and frankly -- yeah I think it's gotten better. I think it's gotten better over -- last year when they really kind of first got started. So we'll see if we'll see if the other high muck -- continue. With that thought process but my guess is -- going to stick around for awhile so you know anyway. That's my two cents worth on the Monday Night Football announced -- you know -- to Rico I will admit he's a friend. We spoke briefly before the game the other night and caught up on things. Due to his time. Reworked and televisions are -- and his time covering teams in the Big East and in running into each other on rare occasions and he -- Bristol so. You know I think Mike's a solid play by play very solid. -- spectacular he's solid. Kornheiser I don't have as much experience with although I certainly know him and I've actually fielded managed shipped from time to time. On the ESPN radio when he was doing you show several years ago. But. Intelligent they love him because he is you know the 21 century version of Howard Cosell period. Are -- get back now to John email he says. But tip of illness team that started off but seeing how the pats went from an undefeated team to barely surviving after losing Brady and now Maroney. Against the high powered passing team like Denver blah blah blah. But the second half the tone changed suddenly they were saying how good were saying how and I quote anybody can run on Denver anybody. Once again let's not give credit to a team who reached down after a bad loss and came out fired up. But now all the local media is asking the question was -- good pats performance -- bad Denver performance. That's John that's that's the request and we asked that fielding are the -- did not really sure. And I think it's going to take this week in his Mike renting. Suggested. It probably take next week's game against Indianapolis to determine whether or not it was a good pats performance or -- bad Denver performance that was all this past Monday. But we know the Patriots are up and down like the stock market and obviously mostly down. And you'll yourself I know John and so many of the fans had to say oh my -- anybody can run Denver that phrase had to have crossed your mind. If you were stunned admitted you which. And that the Patriots could run on the Broncos like they did. I mean you know that the Denver you know a team it was being critters criticizes it not being good against the run unit that -- to but the C. The Patriots to a par 250. Yards on the ground Monday -- come. You surprised just like I was in. The rest of the media wants. And you have to ask the question. While it's like anybody can run on them all they would do it was reacting to what you were saying I was saying a lot of other it was six. Absolutely. Pure gut react that's holidays. John says the pats play the best game this year so for Randy Moss was blasting -- Cassel was completing passes finally. Watson a walker finally got into the game Sammy Morris was amazing the man named after three existing Patriots. Benjarvis quickly Ellis who have been testing in his first chance to shine. Right -- like that. Three existing Patriots it's true the defense created turnovers held Denver in check caused mistakes they played great. And the overall -- of the team was fired up confident able they were reminded they can get it. God -- email. There's a reason though that you a lot of that happened the cast was garlic in complete passes because Patriots had a running game is. Which just in the opening darted to take the pressure rough on the Benjamin Watson. Finally get into the game because. He was able to hold on some football he was thrown to the last week. He couldn't catch everything. Com. I don't know where you mean by Welker for elegant in the game on the -- ever been out of the -- Welker has been arguably the only. -- consistent whether that had thus far this year and yes Sammy Morris was simply amazing it's -- aggregate. Certainly hope that and that we all hope that the once we begin to a bitch on the injury reports on the participation reports later this afternoon that. He is as a need bump or bruise or whatever it ends -- is that he short term situation. And the VO. Surely benefit of the Patriots that he can come back and play this Sunday but. Don't be surprised if you as we talked earlier -- we surprised we -- the B LaMont Jordan comeback this next week since he was close to coming back anyway. And anymore -- the extra week off in order to become completely healthy. So would be like you know trading one for the other at least for this game against the Rams and because the Rams. I have not been a very good team against the run. At least this point in time this season maybe the Patriots feel like that's something that they came in they can live with for this makes them. -- this one comes from -- line. And uses as the UW how in progress or government all this ping -- okay well all we'll -- thank you appreciate your last. Hum -- what game reminded me of one of the games from last year I think as a team the pats played great here my pros and cons of the pros. -- roars were nothing short of the beast. He hit the whole running hard and hard and like mr. twinkle toes and do you think of Maroney -- the -- like Morris did last night he would run like more inch rain last night actually yeah. And it's a good point. Good point. Home. Problem is that Maroney never did hit the hole like that -- you know that brief. I think -- toward the end of last season when he seemed to be able to you to get a clue and know that you know -- getting the whole. And he got to attack the party can't you know sidestep and dance before you get there. Well but yeah I think there's a chance to Maroney could have done as well it's anymore it's -- chosen to hit the hole. On the -- is who wants Cassel cut now. I don't even want -- cut but okay I think equally great game nothing else at three touchdown passes went -- compliments the greens this year. One of the things he needs to work on though he's going to his second read a little quicker no question you're dead on right there you did. Number three the defense was outstanding. Besides forcing five turnovers I think it is solid job stopping the run and getting to the ball quickly. No arguments. Obviously forcing five turnovers -- huge Denver never had a chance never had a chance to get into the game. Because they kept leaving the ball turf. They did an okay job stopping the run great okay. They did get the ball much more quickly and I think part of that was because they had good run support in the second. On over for the defense and a solid job of putting pressure on the quarterbacks on the that the Patriots lack of last -- I would also agree with that much better job up the middle. -- and and from the outside backers from -- Vrabel and in Thomas and and in at least if they didn't get. To Kotler which they did what second three times against. They didn't get it didn't sack him they certainly put pressure on him enforced and hurried throws. And we combined that would affect the Cutler hurt his finger. On it's going him the first play of the game by bouncing off the helmet all the Patriot player. I think it was Seymour but he bounced off of I think that combined to make it very difficult night for Denver to get any kind of consistency what you saw Patrick Ramsey comer of the game and he was lost up there as well and then they'd had a little you know with the color -- can't get any -- really hurt any worse we can't you know. Worsen the injury he already and it. But it definitely affected there's no doubt. And that she says how do you guys think Hobbs played in my mind that you played outstanding. At the -- he came back almost pick want to Denver passes and that was the third down play -- broke up the ball out of pretty good -- coverage was pretty close. -- he obviously had an opportunity. Against you know some big receivers obviously Brandon Marshall as the beast himself. Big tall physical top receiver I think that it can be a very very good one. Eighty Royals you know got that little scat back type thing go into -- so it's an interesting. Yin and Yang. That type of situation in the Denver has in terms of the receivers -- big and he had some consistency quarterback with color -- Offensively you can see why and how Denver can move the ball -- Michael Pittman at running back did an okay job run the ball. Not great but just okay -- defensed -- OK. Not great just okay. But if you can see where Pittman ever has an outstanding many east clicking on all cylinders and they really pound the ball. Now ultimately you can see where that the passing game can be deadly with the that that type of receivers the Denver has. So you've certainly got to give kudos to the Patriots defense with -- coming up with a good game plan and trying to slow them down if not shut them down altogether. -- the Koch says the offensive line did not perform well pass protection. They did a great job against the run but six sexism acceptable although a better like. Very funny are. Yeah I mentioned that earlier the -- XX is unacceptable. My of major -- panic. Major nitpick from Monday night is plays the pass blocking from the offensive line it was just terrific absolutely -- of the that. -- definitely going to be worked on the Asian team to going to. You know you know it's. Teams are going to rush they're not going to have to blitz a guy like castle. The gimmick -- try to beat them -- his arm. And so you know pressure going to be -- it's time to give him as much time as humanly possible to be able to get rid of all the football. And you know. Be able to be effective with his check downs and and -- his secondary receivers and such. Shelves as it other than that the Patriots put a solid game on a side note last week you thought I lived in mean it's trampling -- in -- I'll live in the opposite direction of -- Okay thank you very much appreciate the email. Excellent job -- you. Love the thoughts love the analysis in the houses -- all good and only you're just -- this year. You're own analysis of the game and everything else that we actually gave muted the question of the day. You know via email here in the program so by all means by all means there's no right or wrong answer here you know sometimes I know. You know one when we're pulling an x.s and those around and given our opinions based on what were were observing it is that I understand -- you know. A passive fan can be somewhat intimidating that's that's not the goal here. This is -- this is a forum for discussion for all fans -- that your serious fan. Where someone who has just passing interest and the Patriots were in the NFL march. It's so there's no such thing as a stupid question until my journals request that. There's -- things to question the only stupid question is the one that you don't ask. So that's fine. That's -- all analyses and opinions are welcome. This from come from John and South Carolina who says. Benjarvis seem to run hard when I saw him what are your impressions of him could he blossomed into something. Who you know honestly John it's it's tough to. It's tough to tell I mean I like the fact is we spoke a little earlier like the fact he scenes to. Keep his use you know -- center of gravity load the ground which makes him tough tackle the tough to tackle running back. He does seem to have pretty good burst off the line of scrimmage. But I think his lack of -- overall would certainly keep him from being. You know an every down type -- back he seems to me to be cut more in the mold of the Kevin Faulk where he could be a change of pace back in the long term as opposed to being someone. And we get fifteen to twenty carries football. Now he was in there on Saturday for a couple reasons number one because Sammy -- was hurt. -- a number two because. You know the Patriots knew they were going to on the football only want to get a look at the mean let's face you want to see -- the guy's guy. Thirteen carries 65 yards not to shabby. Fact is though that you know we've yet to rely on him. Too much. -- could potentially be a little bit of trouble. So I mean when did Jarvis Green Ellis is in the game. One of two things -- the games either way out of hand or it will in the end. One of the other well with the pages of -- some significant injury problems during the course of the game you know could blossom in the something. I'd like to see it happening in say the Baltimore Ravens but it happens against the New York Giants -- Washington Redskins are teams that can really defend the run. You know we could see that kind of performance where it -- actually hole actually create some holes I want Selig does the team that bought him pretty good decent. -- more accurate assessment. He offices will we be seeing any new offensive linemen next week -- lightly in this did not notice the -- Matt Light was out there. I don't know if that was it that just wink wink nudge nudge. -- at light's play I'm not quite sure because can always tell emails. Calm. But yeah I'm Matt Light was out there. I don't think will be seeing any new offensive lineman this week. Barring injury. I do think that you know hopefully we'll see more and more of a Stephen Neal as he rounds himself back into shape. I'm I'm not sold on them. Billy Yates at all I think that he is a weak link on the offensive line as announced and as -- good linemen he's okay linemen. I think he's good in a pitcher and -- good as a back up because you don't expect you know 5060 snaps -- backups. He expected it snaps do you starter. And penalty Billy Yates is if if you're sixty snap. Kind of opens -- lineman in the NFL. So hopefully Stephen Neal continues to around as a back into shape we see more of him. So maybe that would be a new offensive line but short of that no I don't think we'll see anybody else this week. That's kind of where we stand. OK here we go this from going from Todd is the name game pick one Cassell or Trent Edwards. The -- You know I love playing these games are -- and you know this -- stuff actually. And good time to bring in in consulates to this summer hold on -- perspective. And I'm surprised we haven't really had a whole lot of feedback on Rodney Harrison right now. Is because you don't care. If you don't that's okay. Yeah that's very true. -- let's took about the guys -- employee who. Two great wins the last week so what the -- is rampant."
[1:34:10]" Boy -- a lot that's happened you know I think and that really kind of start of the top -- with -- with the change -- change coaches and then go -- There's a lot to be said for leadership and attitude all those things and that's. There's just complete change at all and -- all those areas since since he became head coach and and that's that's and to knock on the guys Scott Linehan who. Before it's just just a matter of some some guys -- legal then and -- remain that -- at some guys -- I think it really starts there and then -- told that a lot of other things -- that are involved you know -- little gets healthy and I completely change the complexion of which you can -- defensively and and you start getting some other guy's yard that -- kind of emerges a deep -- so although -- excited kind of happened all the same time and -- all came together in the you've seen the results the last couple weeks. Did this team quit on Scott Linehan. You know I don't think so vital it it's that it happened -- I think that they would have been competitive at all what you -- an early game they really were competitive but but that awful all game and the New York game they'll -- it no games -- fourth quarter and they -- how to fold up shop. And that's the difference really you know and Jim Everett who took this job the first thing that was we have to find -- way when we want relentlessly adversity. To get along just forget about it and so on this team and down because really there's a lot of guys here who have been around when parents and had that experience of okay this is how we overcome when something goes wrong and so that delicate area that -- that they really needed help and in the end obviously the first what do of course five minute that you -- watching games Stephen Jackson fumbles and it's like uh oh here we go again but they -- to what -- a way to win the game and and and it would not done and others."
[1:35:48]" Best move that Jim has has made. Since he's been the head coach in your estimation."
[1:35:54]" I don't. That's another tough love what's up short like not put our quarterback to quarterback right away I think I think what they're really good day and then you know our borders confident that if nothing else that was as important get that back because in the in the waning days of of talent and Eric Odom. It has been well documented that he and Marc Bulger didn't have the best relationship and it's -- that immediate vote confidence that hey you're our guy we need you to deal will be honest TB you know were paid all this money we need Jeter to step up and do this job and I think it really showed early and and really mark Portugal moral leadership role and -- at any point in his career I think that the direct reflection of of what to head coach now as talented they'll. Wasn't -- do you think they use removed from the job. Bulger I I do it does a lot of issues that that would into the offered the struggle first lawyer you got a new system in place without starters who the coordinator and people try to learn that in all these different date on it. Clearly that a lot of pressure to win in the Cleveland -- head coach and then sometime -- May be at the panic button you know. Of course it wasn't -- anybody too -- it's just maybe at the -- panic -- and their -- and I think that was kind of something that played into that decision and certainly came -- played well but he you know he didn't he didn't play great you know he -- he -- that the magic -- that that maybe -- looking -- but he would -- it -- I don't think -- the -- people disagree -- quarterback -- of --"
[1:37:22]" Nick -- guinn who's a senior writer for -- dot com joining us here and said the playbook as the Rams and the Patriots will go out at 1 o'clock eastern time Sunday at Gillette Stadium. What are your estimation is down another of the large reasons in addition to the the change of leadership are supposed. And of the big reasons that the Rams have -- been able that apparently turnaround as quickly as they have."
[1:39:13]" No doubt about that I think one of the intriguing things -- that. Looks to me to be on something that could even be in St. louis' -- for Sunday is. How the of the battle of the -- matches up because St. louis' defensive line and I guess. You know looking at across the front. I wouldn't call it gargantuan. But -- strictly imagination. They went up -- certainly a bigger offensive line that Dallas that is last week in. And seemed to handle them pretty well and the Patriots have had some problems especially when it comes to pass blocking on the offensive line so. Perhaps with a guy like little as you Marty suggested back in the fall and somewhat healthy that could be a bonus for St. Louis."
[1:39:51]" Absolutely I think that's an area that you know almost the point now where -- really has the strength of the -- grip on the and then maybe even a strict but it was army unit they're not -- A -- played better than. And that deep but the light right now what they'll go to the joke about it here today because and I know that the Patriots have been started Marco or over right -- he won't be -- in the lineup this week maybe get healthy air but because he was eventually Gary and I in training -- but he was -- At the time on the roster last year. And are you know what we we all know what kind of player area and Italy and he's not a necessarily as a starting player in the league and so -- that's a met -- would learn a little bout you know up. What -- have that advantage you would have their course you know he's not going to bite -- matter -- game but you know it there's just something you we you'd see advantages that you -- that he can take -- take advantage of him and maybe people are better than them and that's what happened in the game so. Okay that the way secret that the people at the line right now as a player as well any any your honesty."
[1:40:50]" Offensively speaking with the -- and back at controlling things it certainly helps to have a guy like Stephen Jackson whose -- the NFC offensive player of the week this week. Running like he's currently running."
[1:41:00]" Yeah absolutely that it will be the one thing you know you don't Stephen Jackson as -- banged up he suffered suffered a slight strain to his thigh in the in the waning moments of that that went against Al last week so. How -- that he didn't practice today and then I think they'll probably maybe do a little bit individual work tomorrow but we're going to come away Ito Friday hopefully. -- open anything get some snaps on Friday and -- repetition and and be ready but. Indicate it but he's the guy that makes it all go -- and you know outsiders -- the ball many times and you know they use him in the passing game very effective between the tackles and and the underrated speed if he'd give outlet passes as Dallas found out that badly people going to catch -- from behind so there's no doubt that it Steven -- goal and they're as good as he can go he's he's as good as anybody in the league."
[1:41:46]" It seems that if film on the flip it back the other side defensively because it -- of that are is it an Achilles -- it looks at the Rams have had some trouble stopping the run at times this year. Why do you think it is and what do you think are are the what's the outlook for things getting better."
[1:42:02]" You know I think of the biggest freedom that they've had struggled -- brought a lot of mental mistakes you know if you get a guy out of position in the god guy who misses his run gap misses milk doesn't necessarily play assignment football police also do and and then somebody -- targeted -- You know it -- we call -- the -- around here because -- local radio guy -- always -- look at -- has -- this -- away then they -- this much -- do you -- take those -- away but you know that they have a tendency for giving -- runs and a lot of -- they're really -- about you know -- 123 yard -- they hold -- that and then all of -- the -- mistaken -- get out of the -- for big games so that's one -- that -- that they've really -- clamp down on -- had a pretty -- week two weeks -- although. Again don't know law's situation rare couple long -- many in the past midnight -- at 135 yard run the rest of the seventeen carries went for. Like seventy yards which is which is pretty good at. If if you can do our normal basis so it's for that despite a way to limit the big plays and and keep guys from from didn't big gains on not just one carry."
[1:43:07]" Any surprise that Eddie Kennison was released again."
[1:43:11]" Not a lot of surprise there right now they're actually carrying a receivers on the rosters -- they've been a little banged up at that position group. At the foot injuries still rather be up for a couple more weeks you know -- Booker had a concussion and they had a little accident where they found an abnormality on his -- and -- So there's two different things that Calgary and he was kept around after he was always the first time so you know he had made any catches and it was just kind of a numbers game adapt or they had some injuries and other positions -- The -- Colorado hitters on the not a real surprise there."
[1:43:40]" and then them. Because a lot of Patriots fans certainly probably going to be as familiar with the Rams as they would be. Or no say against. The bills for the Dolphins can you give us what you think is an unsung area of this Rams football team in terms of their personnel. Somebody that has. Proven to you early show do you they have the potential -- pretty good and it's kind of flown under the radar."
[1:44:00]" Yeah out you know I think -- they're they've had a couple guys that are have emerged and then maybe people on the all -- you know lots of free safety is a Chicago highway and you know yet he interception last year which was tied for the lead in the NFC in and really didn't get a whole lot of recognition for this year he's already got three receptions yet. It's -- the other -- and -- exactly it and -- last fourteen games -- ten interceptions so he can have a nose for the -- yet -- 75 yard fumble recovery gets -- for touchdowns so he's -- kind of -- who while not because he's -- United -- big hitter you know not -- comfortable Polamalu -- Ed -- but he's he's a very good player he's always around the ball. He had that -- We'll come up with that's so easily the guidance as quarterback they have a young guy to run -- isn't really kind of settled in and outside and become kind of up. A real solid government so they have some guys that that's a flyover radar -- secondary and -- obviously earlier in the year when they -- didn't. Just really really beat up in the secondary in the a lot of a lot of big plays or give it up close -- first game -- it's Philadelphia and and on battle -- but but they've really had a -- there ought to know again that's all kind of a product to other -- of a pass -- so it all top players together but the older a couple of guys that I think people maybe don't know about that that they could someday soon."
[1:45:18]" I want to get to look a little homework on a Chicago public by the way love the name that. It's a good look at you you sound like you know pretty well at all. What's that OJ. -- should report correctly called it to the sounds good -- we appreciate the time thanks so much safe travels will become this way. They -- it exits and Wagner senior writer for Rams dot com -- with us here incessantly. -- before we wrap up and I'm going to -- you off to the a conference call."
[1:45:47]" That Rams running back Stephen Jackson just held. With members of the Patriots media but to want to get back just very quickly to won't. Todd email when he's talking about playing though the name game Cassel -- Trent Edwards. I'd have to say right now even though I'm becoming more and more Matt Cassel fan and have to see Trent Edwards terms of his overall experience what he's done for Buffalo. -- or Derek Anderson. Based on the with a plan now I'm going to go Cassell Cassell or Chad Pennington. He says. I think it's elliptical Pennington. Cassel were JT O'Sullivan Cassel. Cassell and Kerry Collins. -- I've never like Kerry Collins Cassell or Drew Bledsoe in his prime. Bledsoe. Okay. -- wanted to play the game with the Tigers I was like when you do that so that's good stuff like to play would you. That's what I called again would you would you takes on so over so and so. And why would you take them so good stuff good email there are right now tomorrow program again because I'll be in transit I'll be joining by phone at some time. Eleven guys in the studio hold down the -- and of course some. We'll have Russell Baxter for -- is -- as a part of the Thursday show as he always is again 'cause it took a short week. Or playing football again on Sunday how great is this -- them right from one game into another. I almost wish they could all be like this. With the guys -- hallway feel the same way about that in on the little help here. All right Stephen Jackson. Rams running back was just named NFC offensive player of the week for his performance in their big 3414 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Meeting -- members of the Patriots via conference call."
[1:47:27]" He obviously hasn't gone through a little bit of a turnaround here I know in week one Pacman Jones had a had a comment that. Concerning eagles' race -- the Rams do it and see guys heard that. Does that here and I can't think how provide provide motivation for you."
[1:47:46]" Relative quiet for a isn't ready to. It's subtle -- it was. -- had to try to fine. Disillusioned with the little -- an organization to get things turned -- You know want to get that thing. What particularly. It doesn't motivation call it and hello. Become the death penalty kick the rest. We can't try to will be doing it you know we also wrote. You know I'm glad that you've been able to."
[1:48:27]" What's the difference what it was coach has it done over the last couple weeks and and what does he brought it maybe coach on hand couldn't at the end."
[1:48:39]" I don't know if it's like you have a couple of you won't hesitate. To Blackburn. -- a close that it is don't -- that remotely but. Could have gotten a lot of you know took the week off the red. It better than -- I'll -- it and say that we couldn't turn things around. Okay stretch and I. You know going to let -- you know that the that a lot of guidelines you want to."
[1:49:18]" Didn't seem to have via the lake Dillon."
[1:49:22]" Okay you know. Yeah quite short the government will gladly put -- day. What I went coached good -- They had the look and them look like me. Kind of looked over my body doormat that they -- are procured especially Tibetans Sunday."
[1:49:51]" The Stephen did indeed did not saw time in training camp do you feel that slow get the start of the season -- were you ready to go Raikkonen picked up."
[1:50:00]" Yeah. In great shape. -- my body better so. And we can't simulate it all depends on the football don't let it -- but could actually live I thought I was right there ready."
[1:50:20]" Is that anytime a little bit about our immune why in your mind is really the low point that -- for."
[1:50:32]" I that they hadn't seen him. Brooklyn actually had to play fortunately. In the first -- I don't think we can say that you know. We've had pitted tall -- input at some point. I don't know what might have been you know. I found that thought says now that. Virtually every game he -- he got fight through it and everything that the difference between these last two games for the first four."
[1:50:59]" it did you watch any of the Patriots Monday night's game against the Broncos."
[1:51:03]" Blocked a little bit. That first half but the it at a watching people. -- technical at all. Tonight they're in the league players are used to playing on all the TV it and can't -- It doesn't happen to come others."
[1:51:31]" What do you see from that Patriots front seven in terms of they had some pretty good that's shutting down LaDainian Tomlinson a few weeks ago and and obviously they going to try to. Take you -- your game."
[1:51:42]" They don't run it from Portland. The talk about it. -- not and that was the best again in the National Football League you know the guys are relief now that they're they're they're responsibility that a cat and they do a great job of tackling. It was you know you can -- to -- You can see why does he would think he had all the regular season rested and well. You know that it that it has all of not quite sure the weather is going to be nice let alone at the end of the passionate. Keep on the I come hell it didn't have a chance at playing. To look sort of don't we can't keep them on it and respect my game -- that would that we come out with a win so. I don't look at sort of low numbers I'm more concerned about being able to contribute to my team and help him get away. But first things first -- quite ready."
[1:52:35]" No disrespect to Trent Green but did you feel it was a good move gone back Marc Bulger."
[1:52:45]" Look at the topic. It's hard as -- to run it didn't work at I think more -- guys that. -- can't rule about -- because they didn't want the F protection. If you put the ball where he's a big overhaul that. We have spot on the field the throat and I think more that that with the best of."
[1:53:04]" Did you go all like coach wanted to have lost the team."
[1:53:07]" Not a -- goes well -- It is an NFL that's -- you know decided dealt. A good as excited -- about and had to struggle with a fourteen. That Kennedy you know -- rough it was a rough -- candidate. We won't we know we went a little bit and now unfortunately -- because of losers. And a little -- season."
[1:53:31]" when your own for coming off the Pirates had a little bit of -- I guess with the coaching change if you look at the schedule -- and Redskins Cowboys Patriots. That they'll look pretty daunting what was the mindset. Going into that."
[1:53:45]" I don't how to look. You just take one game at a time. Lost just or -- want on a four game winning streak. He doubted that people -- even that although they get these guys that is so. Want to -- one game at a time if you look at it. At least began acting all. I don't know what they quote quote. Caddie gave the book of me. It is NFL you know it every -- every team -- who thought."
[1:54:15]" A big confidence builder is being -- is called out of town it's you know -- Albania. Confidence boost was that for you guys and and how big hurdle was beaten them."
[1:54:25]" Well don't want these currently we have had tough in this locker room. And that's their problem and have their ball. Well we're going to come out and execute that in the sixty minutes look at the scoreboard that."
[1:54:39]" No love you have been the most talented and had you -- all right to beat them in in media companies to move forward whose voice yes we're at it I don't."
[1:54:50]" Even to that I know you probably that would every team coming out in the draft siren call at that time the Patriots for a while there where. Running back without Antoine and it that the time when you're coming out you'd call. Any interaction with the Patriots and all -- at that time when you were coming into the league."
[1:55:07]" What you guys saw what -- Pacers acquired Corey Dillon and there was some talk that -- may end up in New England but look at it and think assure. We know that it was going to be appreciate it out there that. Yeah actually -- Cordova came up it was available. You know. They really worked out orders for the league it is a veteran guy can't understand that in the arrest of trying to draft a rookie -- a -- now. Compared -- that is in the league has proven so. I won't play you know it could happen but it did."
[1:55:41]" The unit and you take that. Come appeared on network and any of the -- here."
[1:55:46]" In my present."
[1:55:49]" It's it. -- it. I'm young receivers specifically Avery how -- when you."
[1:56:00]" Tremendous you know it bailout safeties. Who now have to respect as he headed deep threat ability. Over the course of the birth of the baby about two games. That would help our passing game. Allowed stretch the field. Get into the opposing team I don't know block walk all the alternative. They don't. Everyone."
[1:56:25]" You can. -- loved the."
