[1:47]" On week nine in the schedule. And or. Not liking your girl they're playing that game was more than that at they're playing in Indianapolis. But in any event. At least the last two years about the year before that they play that game expecting that was I was home game the but. Nice win. Against the -- past week. Some serious injury -- throughout the game high in the in the backfield were juggling to try to get. Good win over the Rams who worst start in place and good ball and Jim has. But now the we we've got. Peyton Manning and the uncharacteristically. Uneven. -- three and four. Certainly not a good time for the Patriots either of those guys whether they're -- injured or not but. This is not going to be any game of course. The white Indy in four record and and the fact there there office has not been Peyton has been throwing. Way more interceptions and where you're seeing him throw and just doesn't. [9:32]" But anyway back to. Back to the game at hand and we did it at three and four. New England at Indianapolis this weekend. 815 and a night game. And one of the hotter players are always been playing this week Dan don't take me -- don't dig out of context through dinner. Is tight end Dallas Clark caught a couple of touchdown passes last week from Manning. And I he earlier this week I had a chance beat with the New England media and here's what yet."
[10:11]" It. Dallas how -- And I think we've taken a few minutes. -- Without Colts and a little bit of an unfamiliar position not. From past years that at three and four what we didn't how would you answer sort of -- the Colts three and poor in."
[10:31]" You know we're you know we're doing our best -- that -- every day. But you know I think just tell compact it just. A combination of a few things just you know just people make a little mistakes that. Normally not make ends are. It's it's just got a younger guys -- on this. It's timing it's dumb. You know just misfortune. You know just opposing -- and -- well. You know this is really. Really not trying to. You know. Try to put blame on anything or any -- you know we're we're just trying to get better or just trying to you know keep the focus on. On getting better every day and you know we should type of that. Last week getting his hand you know distance. You gotta put the -- or worse and you know we're learn how to do that and you know assistant just been you know on this year for whatever reason."
[11:30]" How odd is it to be facing the Patriots under these conditions and usually we -- that meet her. You know supremacy in the -- both teams are undefeated or maybe one loss but now both teams are. They're fighting for their lives here. Yeah."
[11:48]" Both seem to think they'll. Very confident themselves. At great leadership then. End you know -- both teams are really. You know kind. You know and -- you know in the panic button you know yet to think differently I think the leadership -- become just. Just you know just kind of leadership but I I think that's really going to Church really going to help -- all the teams and really helped get through this tough time for both teams and you know I think both teams are definitely you know going through some adversity that. You know not used to threesome -- you know I think everyone has. This purgatory. You know this is definitely a different situation for -- split. You know definitely hurt you know look -- to the challenge."
[12:36]" How hard was it after the Tennessee game at its sound like Tony all but conceded the division I am saying it was but that's going to be tough since. To get back and try to make plans but really the division was probably out of reach how tough is it to hear that you now halfway through the season."
[12:52]" It's very difficult but. You know that's just. We've put ourselves and then let you know that we have nothing not to blame but ourselves of that. That's Dolphins you know boom -- we do know. On this last few the last he'd played an inning and get an at the net and -- still can't force them. No we're definitely not you know we're back check it out yet them. And then just you know then that Horford -- what happened this -- put our effort in the the next -- And you know just keep our mindset that the -- You know attack keep the blinders on not through the games on the road and just really just put our energy and focus and castration I don't know what we -- at times."
[14:02]" You talk about your past battles with Rodney Harrison who obviously isn't going to be there this week and how that might affects your game of the game overall. Yeah."
[14:13]" You know just regular. Our big lift for there dig deep threat than you know I know. Or is very next guy. Just on this side of the -- you know I think Rodney. A tough guy and whoever plays he -- You brought -- you've got so much versatility. The end and just that toughness that you know that that that that the defense -- You know I think he you know he's able it -- our -- to do a lot of different things that he can cover tight dancing cover. Don't you know he -- and -- sure. Wide receiver and stuff like that so. When you don't have a guy like that that's stuff you know but they have they have great leadership bond on the -- and they have -- they have guys who have been there again and have been and you know situations like this before it's. And it you know that there's just -- rallied around each other then you know help the younger guys. Power that you know you know they're they're definitely you know not give up. Do you -- think -- training camp and they're they're they're going to be able the other so get ability to dispute this saying -- and prior -- And they do love every every."
[15:23]" I guess if you were making a list of the things to feel good about what the Colts your performance Monday would be one of them do you feel like you're. But -- stride after the knee problem."
[15:34]" The it was very disappointed. But. Last week. I just dead if you you know especially the ball -- through my hands for the interception that really it was a turning point for that men are just very frustrating. Nothing like that is just you know. You know on and so close games like that every play counts -- nation forget about what you did in the first -- No points and so therefore of course like Townsend here can't expect me to make plays you know I didn't make that -- that's very frustrating so. All of them very very. The very satisfied with the with the performance and had to play expected. Keep -- he'd get better."
[16:19]" Yeah start you've been asked this but considering the hype that's generally around these gains between you guys in the Patriots and and I guess in particular last particular last year on the way it was how different does this one feel."
[16:33]" I don't think it's any different in I think that's you know I think. -- I think. On their -- on the Patriots it was part of the family you don't you know you you know what you let everyone else -- build. Game hype didn't at all into thanks. You know I think it's best for Tom for the players who were just kinda look at every game the same every game's important. And you put every effort to put everything into it each week that when that game's over it's over can't do anything about there's no. You know we should definition that they -- do you there's no second chances so. Really matter. Record doesn't matter where. You're facing support at the same could be put all the -- the same. Routine of game film. You know personnel. And all that didn't you know that matter you know -- and so. But it just. What's great about -- not certain why it's such a big. Always you know hyped up and because you know both teams -- You know this year we have -- You know so that different but there. It agreed to -- between us and our. And it's usually a close game that's the end and so you know definitely work you know people will."
[17:57]" Does that mean -- almost more at stake and anywhere is less Seattle heightened both teams are here everything else. Now because of where you guys are where they are there might be more state and has been in the past."
[18:11]" My answer is just that you can't sustain you know every every aspect. No matter -- I think that's kind of what are trying to explain this you know it doesn't matter what threat that it doesn't matter you know where you have the divisional every -- big. Away from we want the sweet sixteen. I think that's anyway that's how I handle every game. Our base every you know every game is big you know it doesn't matter if your -- and oh. Yeah -- on the same. And you get this you know -- the -- percent of."
[18:46]" Well Dallas -- on the new stadium now how fast is it has -- style of play."
[18:51]" In the least bit before -- It's definitely different and they are quite different than they RCA -- and in many many here. I think it's it's definitely. -- think we're getting used to woods in the I think we're getting comfortable with that but it's you know to great. Great thing for the city at. For the we have for the for Indianapolis and at I think everyone. -- even players -- you know. Have been excited. Have -- that this year. And but in the same sense you know stuff like you. It used to it took you know took full time but. I think they're you know very very comfortable but. It's a -- far post player."
[19:33]" Dallas how alone has Dominic Rhodes healed and her just in the diet. To a degree as you're often changes -- in the lineup."
[19:40]" Our government dominated these. Fantastic player he you know he just brings so much energy and just you know -- play maker. And you know. I think that was kind of the point you know what we brought him back -- this year I think just tell -- what what he's been able to the past for us and and does have an impact it you know especially a situation like that with -- get hurt. And you know have a bad you know just not. Leaves him much and yet they're two different kind of stuff. You know because -- to prepare differently for them let's. But army is. He's he's a spark plug these he. Can he can make big plays happen and this big plays happen and play happen them and if there's -- the -- poor blocking or else -- are nobody can make guys miss and and just -- You know that elusive but just you know more power runner and and it's the whole. But and you know it's kind of one of those things. You know that doubt that there are big addition. Fourteen. Human and just get by -- settle our."
[20:53]" Colts tight end Dallas Clark speaking with the New England media earlier this week. About the week's matchup between the his team the Colts in the New England Patriots and night. And NBC 815. Clark brought up a couple of interesting points during. His line of questioning there. With regards to. First off how he'll be defended he spoke glowingly about Rodney Harrison and obviously out for the year for knowing when. With his quad injury. Last year's game you -- called. The coaching staff for New England decided to put Harrison man up. On Clark throughout that game and worked. With with. Considerable success -- Harris -- a great job of covering Clark throughout that game. Wasn't quite the fact that he could have been. But this year. Clark won't have Harrison to worry about. The question remains. Who's going to cover. Couple of options I think the Patriots might -- might do in the scheme. One of the two safeties either meriwether Brandon Meriweather -- James Sanders could do it. And I think they might be able to do that probably. May be seen them do it typically is as Rodney Harrison did that with his eyes and strength and speed. And that it's going to be a tall order with -- capabilities. But here's on approval recollection here how about. Rookie linebacker Jerod Mayo who coming out of the tennis you left here and and in the draft was. -- exactly Paul was noted for his his speed particularly his lateral speed but. Maybe not much down field coverage. But I but I think he might have a chance to do that. Size wise early matches up with with Clark much better than either Meriweather or Sanders would. And I think he might have the speed to do it we haven't really seen him in that role has been. Predominately. -- in the middle and like like we mentioned earlier he's leading the team in tackles right now. On but Gary got another rookie linebacker has been seen considerable minutes more and more of late on the and I sometimes along with mail and there. And they do start out with a nickel cover all of the the -- weapons on offense. Gonzales -- Harrison. Wayne Clark obviously Addai coming back. I think it. Belichick always of course is known in on his excellent defense for mixing things up for further quarterbacks and you know -- may be an experiment that that won't work but maybe that maybe there will try maybe they'll put the rookie out there and Dallas Clark. Will this have a I know us some of the guys -- to -- progress earlier this week we're talking about it kinda. Felt the opposite waited they thought it wasn't really that plausible but you never know I'm not -- I'm not going to -- to say not. Because the more I think about it more -- Mike the might be a way to go for them more have to count on their court but. That was one of the things that Clark brought up another another point talked about was. The panic button and adversity that. His calls have been facing this year and that that they're not really quite ready -- panic button but. At three and four at this week Tony Dungy kind of all but conceded the the division at the seven in -- Titans after losing to them on Monday night. And you'd you'd have to think at three or now. They're there if they're conceding the division for all intents and purpose is there they're fighting for awhile cart -- and if they lose to New England their three and five. They can afford that ended their season is it you know. Pretty much over so. They're kind of he's he's as they're not -- in the bank but but I think that kind of our. In that they really have to win this game not just for pride and you know what what these games have -- in the past but. Their season could be on the line here they win at their fourth or their right back in the thick of things and only one game behind New England in. Any wild card chase knowing would be -- and three at that point. So it's kind of it's obviously a must win. And no game in this league isn't but. But the call I think they are close pushing the panic button there's that they don't win game can be a turning point or. The first time in. And pains rookie year pilot did it. Colts wouldn't make the playoffs that he's kept going out of control the -- and characteristically has so far for them this year. But that's the Clark factors -- Many. Often effective at the Patriots going to have to try to find -- to."
[25:50]" So holds the weekend because. Like we said earlier the the Colts are getting -- died back it looks like off of his injury he he's practiced this weekend. Dungy said that he expects him in. And on the other night about standard of play so. And with all the injuries and chuckling -- they had to do in the secondary last week New England that is. Going to be tough and it's a matchup on off on the other side of the ball though. Cassel coming off a pretty -- we began managing the game pretty well the two interceptions you threw against the Rams you can't really blame him for one of them was a a ball that went off of it was offer Randy Moss is and that at tipped by defender and -- a safety stands. And the other one Wes Welker was crossing over the area. On the left side and -- and Allen gave the defender ticket office but he really can't. Get on -- for that. And he may have run into a stroke of good luck when the Colts -- now. This week that cornerback Marlin Jackson is now out. -- the year with a the knee injury. That'll help somewhat underneath and on often on the -- For the Colts defense but. The return of Sanders which. Are looked like is going to happen. You know that that Indy defense is completely different team. When he's out there especially against Iran. And he's proven it time and time against her I was only about 58. To barely 200 pounds he's he plays much bigger than that. And from that safety position coming up and hoping against Iran. With new England's banged up running back situation that also brings up a concern about who's going to run the ball week last week the rookies and Jarvis Green Ellis got. At the start and got. And their LaMont carries. Did pretty well from office thank. You know wasn't expected. To shoulder the entire burden of course and -- Good news according to this week apart page report so far is that. LaMont Jordan has been out there and maybe closer to getting back anymore we know is probably more. I think even said this week he's more like about three weeks away from may be getting back into the rotation but that's certainly good news because you know after last year. His injury coming at. Coming off one of his best performances of the year and then. Losing in the years that my immediate thought when he went down again. It was a two weeks ago San Diego. Was that. He might be out for the year but it sounds like he's not going to be conflict will be back pretty soon but in the interim. If they can get LaMont Jordan back in the lineup. That's going to be a big help because it's kind of a lot to expect the rookie elect Benjarvis. It's have to go into hostile road environment like Indianapolis and trying to. Get the bulk of the Kerry -- Kevin all pitched in a lot to an outstanding game went -- again Rams but now in the passing game. -- carries well but. As we are earlier this year when they had the one to even 123 -- Maroney more ball. Usually Jordan. That into work for them and the more running backs that can get back. For the game. The better because. Particularly Sanders comes back and plays you know he you know maybe he won't be at a 100% exactly but still the fact that he's out there. It's going to be a factor that the pats going to have to. Try to find a remedy or. And you know like I said -- Green-Ellis has shown that he's he's capable of of contributing an offense I don't know I'd go far and be comfortable having him carry the load for an extended period timer. On. Or even against against the team like the idea. Electrical -- and who granted isn't the same team that they've been in the past but still any given Sunday and especially in this. In this rivalry -- series."
[30:03]" Can't score enough points. And scored a point because. It always be shoot out the team. Bill Belichick earlier this week and one of his press conference is also credited. The Colts and what they're they're standing pass rush but I never -- that -- think he did bill I was hitting right there in the front -- talking about. Robert Mathis. And Dwight Freeney who I think he's there were probably the best tandem of pass -- or at least -- our. The year end and maybe you'll steal season. Barring any. And -- in development but. And it. A big test castle as well. I think in the over the last few games he's starting to show them. -- signs of growth their baby steps of course but it but those in those in -- up -- time and I think there were aren't here that. Particularly. I'd give you a quick example from the Rams game there were there a couple of times where he had a pocket -- collapsed around him. And you know maybe even a month ago when that were to -- he probably -- to tuck the ball -- run with it. But they almost kind of looked like Tom Brady against the Rams a few times because the -- start the collapsed and he would just keep his -- focused down field he and the Russian. He would step up to that one little. That one little have to step that Brady would often take two to Alou what was coming. Keep his eyes focused now -- at and gaining first -- he -- his men and nine and fire the ball for completion. And the little things like that Macvicar are going to make a big difference for for the guy in his in his in his development and are confident and seeing how we did that against the Rams. Who you know certainly don't have -- that you know the most fearsome pass urgently but they did a pretty good job of putting pressure when they had to. Particularly later in the game. And started to get -- and and he started to handle and he's going to have to do more of that this week because the Colts currently are going to are going to lay back. Are they going to blitz him a lot. I think they might play it -- at first and try to -- what he can do because ever really faced him before and maybe him a little bit of a cushion kind of like. The Rams -- for awhile and then. Even some other games we saw that that's kind of been you know the Jets they kind of would let Cassel. And accurate throw to kind of knew what they're getting out what kind of game might be having and in order but the pressure on players ago but. Whenever they are to do that whether it's right of the batter later on. -- going to have to continue to show that that that's sort of poise and pocket presence that -- that he's been displaying. Over the past few weeks and and Billy and talked about it the other day about how we noticed -- are in. -- come into his -- trying to get more comfortable back there in the pocket and you know -- as a way to go obviously but but like listening so far. On the other -- the ball as we mentioned earlier that'd that'd. The cheated to winning this game it's a beating Peyton Manning any time is getting and is based pressuring and acting him making him force a row earlier getting them. To throw. Off target. And Padilla -- last week against Rams had another another big game can complement other sack in his starting to come aren't going to model little more this year than. A little bit of a slow start to the year and it's going to be imperative for him in their front and to get them. The pressure on Manning throughout the game I I wouldn't wouldn't even around you surprised they are blitzing him pretty quickly off the top. And when. When he addressed the media earlier this week at his locker that was. Believe among the topics that he had discussed. Let's hear from a different IDs in a second."
[34:05]" They have a coat and he doesn't saying they pay minister the quarterback is saying players saying quote so. On thing here in their record isn't what it used. Being you know and so it is it is you know none of that matters and come Sunday at them some place that. From individual to team again going all through phases Houston and then the Texas game down and next thing you know this Brandon -- down evolved to turn the clock so that just goes so explosive. I knew that they would get more pressure but I think -- time I think he's just attitude. I think the game dictates that scores. Situation. Down and distance let things dictate you know. What it is that you an opponent that you're going against so. The supplement it I think you become an American. -- one book from a distance. So whoever it is and you know you have to do it and then play the situation in the game you can't say okay zone as far as. Plays that. Predicated on do you -- capacity in an -- I mean this guy you know I think but personally thought the and you know. You know -- time news. You know I don't think you can just take -- out of the game means so good as you know it was a Russian. Upstairs and have tickets and go to -- so which is that the you know playing. The -- down you know when you think -- looked like his. And they get a check downs in the bag and it goes back yard gain an -- if -- generic. So I think that is traded down zero you know he's always he's very soon. Redirect the protection and -- storms or does that Tuesday -- fundamentals and play hard. Team. I mean last week and you know -- wouldn't give Chris pressure the quarterback is important but it's her time you know. That doesn't go without TV's coverage so it takes all eleven guys in particular is that there came all four of some kind of pressure on our house. So. I think that's just the main thing is everybody just doing your job. And -- we supposed to be an opportunity presents have to make a play and make it."
[36:51]" But that explosive wideout out -- it. I he's very he knows he's very tough to cover you know he runs good routes. Stretch the field vertically and you know it and he's come in and become the keyboard and running again and the -- key blocks and so. Yes you have your hands full so. Into. Trust that you to a -- 2 with I don't feel place."
[37:16]" Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas talk with the members of the New England media outside his locker earlier. The week here."
[37:23]" Bull and somebody's at the door. Sounds like it Russell back from his -- Russell. I don't reference. No I'm going to develop a complex Russell is the second week Hirono at Johns left me. Let me last year in the studio while he runs often does as a college football broadcasting. Job. And -- that really terrified that I'd honestly that's."
[37:51]" I don't know -- need. Proud of this city Philadelphia. Oh congratulations well having having good night last night I won't say of that the biggest baseball fans but it respect member I can remember sitting. In my living my parents of my Brothers and sisters about forty years ago went -- jumped up in the air and that was kind of a nice reminiscing moment I mean. When you're really mean you'll win twice -- 120 years now you take when you can get a spot. -- the comic -- and Joey. It was -- great era it was father and but it it is parents they got breast are sold but. A block -- a broad street is where he grew up and I know he has smoltz stay up there and job on the bet. The John Cook -- cedar in the middle broad street -- something other than a mountain details. And it's not very early for the bombers paraded you know."
[38:45]" Well wherever he is we miss them but the we'll let the ball well or to head I don't know him personally -- it really. Russell is by far the most popular segment of his entire program and I -- that well that that's true that's true."
[39:01]" By the time my time to check out those regular homework just felt with."
[39:06]" don't miss the old Phillies powder blue and maroon uniforms."
[39:10]" Yes I'm in -- despite disappointing I think you know the Phillies -- fortunately have not drastically changed. -- uniforms like some other team -- god I missed the Astros. All goes. Just have been amazing technicolor dreamcoat house. -- that he at least they have it was a little sister doesn't look. Speaking of the other way with a -- won their only other previous World Series. Up to the little debate -- here I think people will. Remember. Whatever you know when the when this series used to be five games you know the NL CF. Before there was a while Carter on and so on that people tell you that five game series between the Phillies in the actors and 1980. Had more probably I don't we just craziness with the suspension. But that series had more crazy moments only with helping out from one. And it looked like it can be another bomb out here for that they want a winning the last two games in Houston I would say there's a triple play in that series while there was all kind of nutty. Stuff that went on and so wanted it it was very very clutch -- of course they -- people Royals and so but again like they you know you know. Wanted to know what a great pitchers of his time and also won a you know set he had you know problems. Medical problems and JR Richard yeah who was I mean you want to talk about a man who could who could break it. That that was the that was I mean I thought I never it never complicated person. In Philly you know I used to go to Philly games thirty years ago but he could be not people want to kinda -- one across the plate he -- that oh by the way. The guys that is instead made that was -- series you know what that was coveted for Aetna."
[40:49]" While good not to NFL instead they were -- him and how -- a shot at Barrett. Some late breaking news we got to as the show starting. That we get to talk about the first or -- there was. Kinda. Not totally surprising news but it but it has finally come down Vince Wilfork. Patriots nose tackle has been -- 35000 dollars. By the league for his. He hit in the head of Jay Cutler. Bronco quarterback India. In the teams Monday night's contest couple weeks ago. Yet met with the commissioner. At the league office believed Tuesday. Came back from that addressed the media the next game was actually very. Positive about. How he felt that meeting went and I didn't expect to get ended. Or at least it didn't appear that he was going to be -- because typically when he. When these rulings come down -- come down at the end of the day on a Tuesday that a team can kind of get prepared for what they're going to have going into that weekend and when when when they rolled around and -- around and they hadn't made any announcement. We he wasn't going to get an a but it but not surprising they ended up getting a fine. Did you happen to see the plate -- over the -- Russell and."
[42:07]" And oh really I'm sure will be regretting it tonight on sports center and so on but. You know sometimes. In these species to have been in that date with somebody like mark carrier. We used to get find a lot partly it's and so -- yeah of course you a lot of things get fine but. No Vince I think coming at times that you fight last year or at least four times and so once sometimes unfortunately. You know like -- that I got defeated again. -- really judge ought to put some -- you're. You know guilt by association if it necessarily as a violation. Again that's what they're responsible leaders say without seeing it again yet but it seems like you know. And it's going to keep all you want all the people on on the New England defense. You know about about within the last couple years you know right Rodney -- as much. In in latter years -- they needed when he was with the Chargers don't want. It's seems like this has been kind of some that happens within itself but I -- really see the play get to really actually give -- a fair. Assessment but you know -- you simply put Erica mean. You know fines for hits. Fines for criticizing officials. Fines for. You know verbally abusing officials find -- face match I I actually have pointed the -- this year -- this year low because I I have no way do we cashier's. And you know work you know there's like five or six -- a week in and at first -- like stuff that is. We're even talking about the."
[43:39]" Uniform -- I was just say yeah that they'll drop earlier."
[43:42]" That's strictly. That it took part just like to -- over Burress. Got a point 5000 dollars in -- 49ers game for throwing the ball they had 49. I mean ten. Those kind of those really thousand dollars -- verbal abuse of official. And 20000 dollars for war. Criticism of officials don't just -- the game. And I can't OI kinda including the suspended game. In which he was suspended which he was a paycheck for. When he played Seattle. That's a total different issue that the team issue and so on budget -- find gravelly grabbing. There with the Pittsburgh Jacksonville game earlier this year we -- it -- steelers' line for taunting. Unsportsmanlike conduct I -- you know here's the court in revenue to rob but from the commissioner's office."
[44:32]" But here's the course and I have are -- finds. Having their intended that are they working are they deterring the crimes that they're being -- they're being sent."
[44:43]" Well I would have to look at the list spoke protests -- off the top of my head. What I haven't seen the so far below what -- Hines Ward admitted back to back games. Hunt toward a record of the top of my head against the off the top -- I can't negate Blake who's been on the -- quite. That relative that it future quite."
[45:04]" I have a -- from. A berth in the is."
[45:08]" Indian guy yeah but okay I -- which you can veto defined I think with the totaled 35000 dollars for. Verbal abuse of official. Politte to face mask. And -- and I can't think -- the -- he -- find in the one game he broke about once once you've been mail doesn't seem like somebody's. Do what you -- of course trying to work out playing. -- back to back games for you know unnecessary roughness and ironically the game which he broke Pete reversed jaw yeah. Which was a clean hit -- okay and the bank of himself now upset about that. No fight for that so. Yeah I get a feel this is committed this W one of those things that the league takes even a closer look like during the off season. Did you -- the media to have one that doesn't matter since that come and sit and discuss it. Over there and so on it just a big vacant rectify that situation. Yeah you know -- That's a whole other and always thought 69 point game last week -- hitters obviously very entertaining game yeah yeah yeah made but it didn't last year you know -- is funny he saw Miami and the Giants which. What did very entertaining game very sloppy game and who would it don't -- it one afternoon you're going to see the worst team in the league in the Super Bowl champion you know. It's likely I don't I don't know where San Diego New Orleans are -- other than maybe some more at 3237. Games. Because they both can move the football do you want to play great decent run. But you know as we get sidetracked that's what I love about do it showed just go on -- on about different look in the same place yeah so it's kind of like it's kind of like I don't think can essentially talking to go to on the during."
[46:49]" But -- but. My point in bringing up the the the question of whether or not the lines are working is is particularly Wilfork case. You saw a guy who last year had for the okay I know like he's -- so far this year maybe nobody's committed to a panel team you know I've been done find more than once so far this year but. Is just for this for that particular season that reward or or shouldn't shouldn't these fines have some sort of weight so that. A player really has to affect. Any sort of inappropriate behavior that he brings the field whether intentional or not he has the no that he goes out and does what he did before they're going to be serious ramifications and he's going to have to like like you said Rodney Harrison. In later years of his career was being find a lot less than it was earlier in his career and I think that. A lot to do with the fact that he'd been on how many times and finally start -- and maybe you know he he wasn't -- early. Backing away from hitting people after a play but it's something in his play. Led to a conscious effort of his not being fine as much as he was before and so are -- you know a great guy he is he he's you know we we see him all the time we talked them pretty frequently. Just being around the team and great guy. And -- teammates love him but. If if he established a pattern here getting find every season at least once or more than once. Is not a problem that. These fines are really address. At least in his case."
[48:27]" Yeah well I'd I'd like I kinda. This year Eric won almost ten this year separately because. You know again initial lancet thinking about our -- from last year the problem at the audiences in the title doesn't run out report roll them. You know you'd be able league office and you know there's -- argue they'll confinement for you. But they aren't constantly sitting on the list -- who was fine this week. And I don't think it very when they do -- it'll really differentiate. Applying for this contract put some of fine -- I think all the fine going in the big pool in terms of the way the money gets distributed and so one to wherever it goes charity -- their X better and better. But just that it initial glance it seems happier than usual. Maybe that's because we're hearing more about them. You know I I might be way off format but I just. I think that's what the reasons we started tracking them here it's going to know we had -- actively out but it just seems like it's heavier this year. You know the -- it also strikes me is. -- it did did did blow to Jerry was where refresh my memory."
[49:35]" Handed it to the head it was today at it but it was it was so far after the play that I believe that when the Patriots look at a -- that he didn't see anything on there. -- but that the Broncos may have had either a different angle or they may have rolled on the play. A little bit longer so that you finally did get to the right. So from bill perspective you really anything on on the on the Patriot a that indicated that there was any problem but a -- I don't want -- there -- somewhere but yeah there was it was a blow to the head I believe it was an elbow that he that."
[50:06]" Right deployed I was going to make it to -- again I don't I don't -- played and I really can't remember right now -- I think some of the things had been scuffling for last year -- is getting refresh my memory. What do low blows."
[50:18]" Well what the want to get Losman was yeah but there was another one against the Giants where he."
[50:25]" With a whole different thing I mean if you look at you know I remember double -- game of the year yeah that he tell us at a game and that was that was almost like. -- close to a fist fight yes you know that was that was different that was a different situation and so."
[50:39]" But I but he had another one of those in that same game. Where where he had this were worried great poked a finger up under the of one of one of one of the one of his one of his opponent -- while they were -- at each other."
[50:53]" Let's also look at you like we talked about earlier it's probably be why he's gotten a -- getting -- Benefit of the doubt -- him. You know because sometimes when he sees something like dead. It's -- in your mind everybody's human being and so on night. I probably that's what you have to mark carrier. You know who seem like he was constantly being defined. For a late hit and there was just what -- much. You know -- it was almost like -- comes up behind. What did mark carrier do this -- DC it was becoming came like at the poster boy for it is so one invented everything seemed to kind of did -- You know I can have a little bit but again this year there seems to just be an accelerated effort. And again again you know abuse of officials. Unsportsmanlike conduct a -- really eighty. Priority here of you know. We know we're trying to clean up a week off the field seems like they're really bacon. Concerted effort. This regime to clean it up on the field as well so but you're going to have I mean I'm sure we're going to talk that this in the next. Three months where there's going to be what I -- say this I also saw David peoples of the Falcons. And we're Trent Cole sacked Tom. Matt -- last week and you can't tell me. That that was rushing the passer. At all I didn't I mean -- Mets still had the ball that -- was going down they called rock in the past term sure you'll. I see well Vince Wilfork again look at the triple yeah there's any doubt. Did you know when you look at dead and I you know the guys -- with the government so one you know I didn't it's. It's you know on piously you have got to be candidate Eric yeah the calls -- you -- I've been in the process of swelling. And that's one thing if you taken steps watchers -- to -- to get to bed -- times -- week week like grow like I could be called up but if you had any bladed it it's gonna get caught. This wasn't about to -- Reps -- was the process took early. And I don't know how your right mind you could've made a call. Like that wasn't Eagles Falcons game like to deter people were listening here they'll tackler talk about."
[53:04]" Well. In any event the the Wilfork -- I think Wilfork got away with. He got off -- it easier then I think I might have expected. And I think -- fortunate in that regard. I just wonder if if a 35000 dollar fine as big as it might seem -- the most of the rest of us how much of an impact it really has on. -- on an NFL player who make you know how many times more than that. And whether or not it'll it'll change in behavior and that's that has me wondering aloud but. Left yeah I think the the elected at that they'll have him for the Sunday's game against Indianapolis. Traditional week 9 yeah Cordero now yet or heroic at this at this juncture in the season. And another prime time matchup. They were lucky I think to come away with a win against the Rams if only for the fact that their secondary. Was getting thrown on all day and they kept. Net net falling to injuries in 2 home old and had to keep up on the lineup. Back there for much of the game before it gets -- quickly your thoughts on on the the went over the Rams."
[54:13]" Well let's and they did what they had to do I mean they take they were plane Rams team that had regained -- that the confidence. They don't give up 31 point two beating the Redskins and Cowboys probably given up at least 31 point the first four games it's really really bad doing it. You know -- and I think New England survived. A decent day by Marc Bulger threw for over 300 yards you know the problem with the Patriots and I don't know it's going to. Hold up this week because I'm not sure what the passing game. Indy is going to bring but they have been given up a lot of big pass -- And it's not something you saw last year number less sure what they had lead to Europe but. -- pass -- will take this number for what it's worth looking they already had seven games this year given up. Ten -- plays of thirty or more yards. No the Patriots the Patriots gave up only seven all of last year him. Well that's. That's it that's the big difference and obviously would all the change wholesale changes they had the secondary and not necessarily get that the pass rush that you head right. A year ago but of course you also don't have a big push straight. Ability -- they have with who my -- Tom Brady put it not able to put teams blunder he looked the monumental difference in in any kind of football especially pro football. It's -- difference of throwing what you want to Detroit when you have to and you know a lot of times the Patriots rushers forced teams to throw when they. Didn't want to -- were forced to. In order to catch up that is not necessarily the case this year."
[55:44]" Right and I think they're going to have to didn't put themselves in that position. Against the Colts this Sunday to have a better chance of beating Michael I think."
[55:55]" I think there's a question about it their pass rushers that let's live a very common denominator between games they lost -- won the Miami. And 12. San Diego. You know second either of those two games -- a -- if fourteen sacks and the other five games that they want. So getting to Peyton Manning which we know is never easy. But even the times indeed Patriots have beaten him. David necessarily put up exact numbers now they picked off quite a few times in a -- Ty Law in the AFC championship game yet but. Getting some heat on him I think it's imperative. And it's going to be interesting to the Colts. You know who are. You know what you think that that whole division right now they're all four games out. You know the surging Tennessee -- And you know adult baby is that -- suitable point. Put forth game itself for any team with nine games played it is hard to win the division of course both these teams who won their divisions in the Colts but the Patriots five years broke. Both emerge struggles this year at least the Patriots are are no site for first place. In their division but."
[56:59]" And according I lost their to the division leading Titans are ready so that put them that's sort of torn half games."
[57:04]" Actually by the way to hold bluster Jacksonville. Which means they have to play Jacksonville again and them. At Jackson told them though they haven't really kind of put themselves behind the people that it didn't know no doubt about it."
[57:16]" Right so so there there for all intents and purpose is the -- it must win against the -- knocked it and I said this before not that any game in the NFL is not a must win but right. When you look at the ramifications down the road if the Colts don't get this game. They're season really could be. Over."
[57:35]" Well I mean -- and simply put Eric last week I thought it would be much game to remember they were going to win the division. A -- at -- it's an -- I'm not a person you brought up must gave it away and at -- we did you know but this could be more much skate in terms of playoffs. Or they start relative brilliant ball every at five right hobbled with everybody there's a lot of the -- to three -- four at Carolina gets 500 at that right I -- a question plan on going on a long run and -- this team is. Capable of going illicitly -- interesting about -- they are 34 right now. The last three years -- the -- gotten to this week nine game. Against the Patriots. They were seven and now. Yeah seven and now it's seven. It's network yeah I mean -- we started out incredibly strong. Remember the last three years this seven and -- last year though you know the year before where they won the Super Bowl thirteen you know the year before that would make. You know in the best record lead -- loss to Pittsburgh in the Indy divisional playoff. But always strong and now for you know lost border. First seven games this season."
[58:41]" And part of that has to be -- at the money injuries they suffered they got more bad news today when the announcement of Marlin Jackson now father of the year. With the knee injury. But it looks like they're going to get Bob Sanders back on the -- He was. Out of the last six weeks now -- and -- and Joseph Addai on the other side of the ball. Practicing this week and Tony Dungy said that they have a good week of practice they're going to play. I had earlier. Regardless of how they practice and they're going to play anyway this week because Patriot. And like he says that it's. It's more must win because of that the the that the for vacation this game. But losing Jackson on the corner gaining Sanders at safety help not only the past game but the running -- totally different team. Against Iran when -- and."
[59:38]" Udoka have doubt and helping also the running game with the addition Joseph Addai book I keep like he -- this week. As well but you know what it's funny you know -- the COLT -- expecting look like you're gonna lose and other guys that they just can't seem -- the get themselves and even kilter this year and Peyton Manning wasn't you know you want complying had. You know it's just something seems to be with their. Patsy game sure it was that we we know we missed the pre season recovered from -- don't need surgery and so on. He's a typing -- seems to be his sense of lack of timing with -- deliberately had wrote one really good even. Then against Baltimore and they beat Baltimore fairly handily. You know eve did he just didn't seem. Like they were on. And at this same page most of this deal with the passing game it's on -- and Marvin Harrison I think it's very very noticeable in this and it you know this is the most productive. We're quarterback to receiver -- the history of the NFL under the yards receptions and touchdown and -- he just seemed like. Marvin -- two steps ahead Ortiz has behind. Morgan also looked like people lost a little bit of a step as well I think it'll completely and a very thrown nine interceptions this year to 72 to fourteen all last year in more than half his games this year he's thrown multiple interceptions. And that's it you know that's -- panic as a rookie upbeat music guy we don't know."
[1:01:00]" Yeah that we haven't seen the kind of play from him in the Eric has been in his second year they went thirteen and three -- at a completely turned it around. Made the playoffs and and ever and then they've been they've been on the ridiculous role. Whether it's been almost unstoppable on offense and at times their defense hasn't been that great but. They've gotten certainly a lot better the last few years gotten a lot faster. But the injuries have mounted up and you're right on either side of the ball they're they're not quite the same team. And old saying that they're three and four and this is so dangerous game for New England."
[1:01:35]" Well because -- question about it and when these teams could look. Hook up I think this is in the in. This is the ninth tightened security due to bet that means they beast he's about the playoffs -- it's all because they're not -- seemed very in the -- division anymore. Like the old days at the AFC east. And so once and there's always something special about this game -- I think that's like the NFL treat this game. That these -- luckiest retreat -- its efforts sisco in the mid nineties."
[1:02:02]" Interesting little note there that now that you mention that I believe next year. The way the schedule is lined up the New England has the play and AFC south team on the road. And as as you and I him and a lot of our listeners -- the schedule. On those yet to be determined games is determined by where you. You -- and where you finish. Now if things continue as they are. The Colts and Patriots are going to line up in the name. Spot in their respective divisions which means. We're not going to have a week nine in the New England now if it continues."
[1:02:39]" Unless the Colts the Patriots -- and second. Now how funny would that -- And yeah which right now the Patriots of course are tied for -- Head on tiebreaker -- it's hard to do tiebreaker not only right we let's suddenly played a little light though it's normal you know how what are you beat New England. And issues -- of New England finishes seconds -- eleven and five. In the COLT finished second and nine and seven. And don't make a play out in New England does make the play yet still again they wanted to play each you know get a feel that might not be in week nine. A fifth straight year you think not an -- at the other teams finish Eric."
[1:03:20]" but speaking of the of the standings in the division last week we talked about if things worked out the way they should. New England would be five and two and if the Dolphins the care of business against the bills. The bills will be five and two ended it tied the top of the AFC's gets what happened that exact scenario played out now that we've got two teams that both laundering and tied. At the top of the division."
[1:03:42]" And actually a week away from. They're big meeting there effective doing right and."
[1:03:51]" Wasn't totally surprised that Miami won that came a week. Over Buffalo. But that's that he does the kind of game that Buffalo needed to win just to prove that they were. It very young teams still trying to figure out how to win and a game like that. Would have helped their confidence enormously I thought going on the road against a division opponent fighting to keep their place atop the the division. And they didn't get it done and now they're in a tie with New England like that regardless of what happens this week against Indianapolis. That's going to be a key game next week when Buffalo comes town. Because of the playoff seeding implications."
[1:04:27]" Yes and it it will be interesting. To see if Buffalo who last week had a self destructed in the fourth quarter it did at fort turn over to believe in the final quarter and let they can't get away but it wasn't like Miami -- with that. While camp -- offense and play out double over but actually Chad Pennington the past of silly. And billion billion scored a touchdown -- game at seven catches for 175 yards. Good to continue to do you know as Buffalo's secondary a little banged up terribly banged up but. Yeah that might be much improved."
[1:04:59]" You think I don't know legitimate threat for them again I'm."
[1:05:02]" I'm not -- I think. You know do we feel that this week that. Well wide receivers don't necessarily flourish as rookies. That to anything that really drafted to be eight and big wide receiver -- usually drafted it's over targeted direct. Ability to beat the white receiver pretty good hitters that can totally different banks. But on the other hand. You know is that Soriano Miami's at a place -- Who looks very very provide this year I don't know what's the weather Caldera since -- back under the Parcells Rasheed or whatever it's revelatory held."
[1:05:37]" Helping his arthritis and now."
[1:05:39]" Could -- but I immediately if they don't want to give those up I think that he's been extremely record which he always has been. Somebody who looks like -- a little more upon the passes this year yeah and that he seems like he's throw the ball downfield with a little more confidence. As he has in -- in previous years."
[1:05:55]" Yeah it you know he's he might finally be over that. Shoulder surgery that he had."
[1:06:00]" Sometimes I think we knew -- forget what happened and Jeremy is that the yeah and people forget about it could ever read -- see no it's not exactly Joe David -- the last but he's always been very very accurate I mean in recent years. You know ball you know he could call the late game. You know when he threw an out pattern. But doesn't care. You'd you'd -- it would even you know -- much it ST wildcat offense. Ran that the Patriots silly that game. Up at Foxboro. Chad Pennington put up big numbers. In that game when he played and it wasn't just -- game that it that it did the Patriots it was -- you know what's funny is Miami's 384 but they're 211 in the division. And beat new England and Buffalo. And Odom -- to throw them into the mix as well I mean obviously a long way to go. Come and there are you know to gain their first but it. Like I usually it's -- and it's one thing to be appropriate for an 3 of the division I think to be period four -- one that --"
[1:06:58]" Yeah like already -- story and it. And now Buffalo has. The second of three division games in a row here."
[1:07:08]" This Sunday against the Jets -- the ball close at home this week though. But another important game because in the division. How do you see this matchup. With especially with are coming off. And horrible performance again achieved they're lucky to -- that game now. But it was there was part. Miscues that almost -- the next game."
[1:07:30]" Yes seven interceptions the last three games to a more each of those games. You know. Kind of somewhat forgotten exactly greeted the six touchdowns and one pick against the Cardinals all of a sudden he's got a little doubt that elicited a play that well it's Oakland either when -- Lawton. It is that Aldridge just doesn't seem like on the right page and I think they took advantage of a very young Kansas -- Literally just pull one out by the skin of their teeth but did not play well at Oakland differently Logan's Kansas City. They had trouble Buffalo even when they were even when the Jets were good at Buffalo was not. And you know I think Buffalo really needs to -- accurate in the worst way. I I don't think they can afford to. Go Corey could -- the inevitability game at home in the division after losing to Miami event -- do lately comes up could turn into what spiraling effect for the Buffalo Bills. And that 51 start can get -- got real real quickly good that it starts playing -- conference because. If you go you know you go nine it's evident you're wanted five in the division doesn't -- a helluva lot. So I think Buffalo in the -- we need to stop the bleeding. And I think -- their running game. Get to cranked up their offensive line played like it's capable -- This is a good jet -- that's about a great Jets these tentative -- big -- people. Failed a lot of holes -- the football against. The Jets last week -- 280 yards and."
[1:08:54]" The matter pass let's breeders' you know I played great and I I I just think that. They could definitely do some damage. Against the Jets defense the Jets to -- you're just a roller -- team right now. Who they look like at what they get hot which they've shown he's kind to be an odd that a team that's destined to go anywhere from seven and nine United seventh."
[1:09:16]" Yeah eight I had them I had them pre season out there today innate. And mostly because of Favre back there because I think we're now starting to see the Favre. That we've seen the last four maybe five years with the exception of last year's you know wild -- that they had winning all those games but. You know are not the Favre that he was earlier in his career in green."
[1:09:39]" and I think it showed you the quality receivers that he had in Green Bay. And I don't know other Laveranues Coles and Jericho Cotchery and up and comer. But he had some real talent in Green -- with Donald driver's pro bowler. A Greg Jennings who has a real up and comer might even -- B there let me think so. Support from the tight ends and it. That's one thing media just haven't seen -- necessarily spreading the ball around like he did in Green Bay it's almost he just doesn't sit in the Jets -- don't look like comfortable football team I think. That's the best way to put it."
[1:10:14]" And you know we we also kinda -- forget this but it because he's such a veteran and he's had a Barrett in the league that are running that packers' offense but. He was coming to a new team at the very end of you know I almost at the last possible minute. To be in time for the season he got an all pre season games with the Jets but. He's still learning the offense it's no doubt about it halfway through the season and he's he's he's he's had. Wasn't now barely twelve games if you conclude that the the pre season game. So to learn and an entirely new offense sure you know there are similarities players say that all the time basically name -- different terminology."
[1:10:52]" Going to look well metabolic brown. They go to certain way and so on but for people who don't. I think it systems matter they they really do let's think it's drastic difference and so on but. You know. He'll wait which is don't it's about the green -- okay I mean I think that he still had some of that with Laveranues Coles and and some of the receivers he's he's able to teach the young kids. Some tricks and so on but it's it's just -- different ball game nickle from what they were killing. Up there pretty much doing the same thing in being able to do a lot of that on his own at times to what he's doing here in New York and."
[1:11:30]" One of the knock I had on him when he was in that weird soap opera an off season where he was searching for new team was that. You know -- he had gotten to the point in Green Bay where he didn't have to put in the extra amount of film study in. You know that the class from time to learn his offense. And he'd gotten to a point in his career where. You know he wanted to go fishing or hunting or do other things in the offseason Mary's and before you know the week of the game he could afford to do that -- he -- the author and he had talent around him. If he was going to go to any new team it's hard at that point. When you get use of that kind of like I'll only turn it on again -- go in the film room every game and study. I'm going to learn the offense going to work from our series after practice putting that type of dedication with a new team new some new players. I didn't think he'd have the the the energy to do that or that or that the desire to do that with whatever team was going to go to and I think we're -- seeing the fruits of that. Negatively in the ways -- played in New York the last few weeks."
[1:12:31]" admirably -- the dictated Internet. It's a long football season but get children quickly."
[1:12:37]" The other team in the AFC's Miami. Had that win as we talked about over Buffalo last week but they're going to Denver another team that's had its struggles that year. But Denver's never really. An easy place to play. Given the way New England ran out all over the Broncos defense though a couple of weeks ago you gotta wonder if Miami's going to come out. With that wild that wildcats' -- it's got so many names on even know what's called him."
[1:13:07]" I've got some -- sure there's some people were calling -- other names that we can't say years well probably yeah. You know it's funny about that an air polluted do -- a quick about face and I want to talk about Miami Denver and then if we get into England and Indy because. I kinda this is called like Brady are -- had something pop up -- it tends to -- and so -- but -- let me throw -- something -- and I champion -- at -- ever -- the Patriots game and the San -- the Dolphins -- numbers have -- every week. The large yards -- look bad doesn't mean that they're losing game. But I think they're using less and less of what they're doing in terms of that while I thought that I think they're only using it. Periodically -- help -- and I think now that they're kind of get to know each other as a football team I think that's what's making it. The will be interest plus -- the one aspect and nobody talks about it Miami's deep sense. Which is much improved on the defensive front against the quarterback or more often. Who would have thought the Miami -- it would be better minus Zach Thomas said minus Jason Taylor you know -- they're kind of plain better the end get support from -- offense but. You know Chad Pennington isn't really. -- at all that the quarterback but he has brought some really really. -- stability. To a young team. And -- I think there's a confidence factor there as well as on the Denver side I'd would -- you sort of two weeks ago -- is horrendous. And it almost looks like he typical Denver star tickets at a box to it over three -- and and and -- San Diego December Denver could wind up in the playoffs. The weight divisions going I would be surprised the Raiders came back won the division -- it's not -- did not have a question at all so. I'll be interested to see what happens with. You know Miami -- far as can be sustained it's gonna get back of 500 -- and it Denver Stevens is really had -- out pretty entire here."
[1:14:57]" And you mentioned the perhaps underrated Miami defense Joey Porter just named today. NFL defensive player of the month."
[1:15:06]" You know why are good for a quick so -- in that it restored must have something about linebacker. They got two guys on the outside James Harrison and our Whitley when he had sex seven halves respectively yeah. And the guy who they jettisoned. Extended FX -- yeah unbelievable via must be it about I don't know what they're serving in Pittsburgh I know it's more than iron city beer and which is which -- tried not to know."
[1:15:31]" That's opens and one half for pregame -- that -- Yep Porter finally putting his money where his mouth is I think a lot of times over the years he's he's talked more than he walked. If you well. OK -- that you had in my business to attend to the off."
[1:15:47]" Yes they do what you want to do quick grab on -- shortened because I don't want and we be completely -- work so I'm not appreciate -- oh welcome to live radio ESPN you know --"
[1:15:57]" That well that's that's where you there. Lot of injuries on both sides of the ball. You know on both for both teams as well to. We think has the edge. And why in this game and."
[1:16:12]" I think do we look at playing better football but you know we have also seen you know -- almost looked like -- do we -- Diego game. From a couple weeks ago where there where they go on the road and are facing a team that really really have to win now that -- New England doesn't have to win. But was in the cold of the total lack -- beat the Patriots streak -- in a -- It is still Peyton -- it is still secondary that Marc -- kind of exploit last week I think I'm going to be looking that is. The Colts pass rush would Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney. The Patriots gave up a lot like twenty not exactly -- already yeah you know a lot of that has to do -- castle and experience and -- New England. Is is. I -- Indianapolis will banged up in the secondary and so on but. -- less do we -- this offense we are still on the Colts. Into the fourth quarter which I don't think it's really been their MO this year I just kind of like indeed it's spring back the light here maybe make. One last stand to at least aspect of 500."
[1:17:12]" Okay okay so. And I don't know if we normally do this but you have a score prediction for the game."
[1:17:17]" Well I well but he. Let's say. -- I'm -- go -- 3834 like the AFC championship game a couple of years ago and so it. This does this seem like 82617. Indianapolis -- the game like okay okay that 26 can mean. Four field goals and attacked two touchdowns. Organic but that's I think what -- cut I'm kind of looking at but I think the difference is the Indianapolis pass rush. Against Matt Cassel some money illegal -- zero. Not a Gary and we don't know and he did what we in New York last week. You know cannot watch we saw blackjack team -- Chris Berman like the 64 field goals a safety and a touchdown did you want."
[1:18:02]" Are well will be will be. We will be there the PFW crew will be there. On Sunday night. And Russell is always will will talk to about it. Next Thursday I don't I'm not going to predicted John's going to be here next week because I I don't know -- schedule anymore and and -- systems and you know we got to be sending me a message but that we have we appreciate having on an and we know he got other. Other -- matter who attend you over Russell thanks again and we'll talk to a week right or -- all right enjoy the -- this weekend."
[1:18:36]" That's -- back from ESPN via there NFL guru. Now whose job it is -- John always says the talk football point for hours a day seven days a week turner five days a year to better -- don't follow up policy a hole bomb outs from afar. But will have more on the playbook right after this."
[1:19:34]" Eleven -- catering had a good speed for a hot potato nuts or make it very far from together catering and give them good I'll never forget what -- I'll let you go back."

Try to -- sausages down franks of the Patriots -- and a wide variety of flavors. Yes there. You drillers are all you need for the perfect -- go home barbecue check out all the Patriots gridiron. The Jets Patriots. Playing in bowl. Patriots. Gridiron drillers. Roche Brothers are very far Johnson's Dolphins job. Flight eight. -- when you just can't wait for Sunday."
[1:21:07]" Making another run in the MLS cup championship and cleanup should Gillette Stadium with the Budweiser it was for the cup. But from what once -- quest for the cup back you'll continue to one of the -- final matches of the and a pair of what what's revolution. Budweiser quest for the cup -- back to -- UW's. [1:22:00]" Well -- had -- here again we're funding means you're doing -- football. Whether it tailgating in the parking lot throwing the pigs get around -- just hang in it and watching the game on the tube it's all about football. And when you're not watching football or playing football well I think we both know you're thinking football and all that can make you a little Hungary. [1:23:36]" Q double catering had a good to beat for a hot potato nuts or -- very far -- together catering and give them food down never forget let me get I'll let you go back."

[1:24:06]" What next Patriots playbook. I'm Eric Snow -- from Patriots football weekly Eric you know it's a period of phone call John matured John's -- okay John. When he got for us today."
[1:24:18]" Kentucky area do. When we we to a really bad and I know we knew it was not a whole time that I did not know that at all and I know you really didn't. -- you have right now. All. All about right -- That's not right. It would not let it let you don't want at I'm sure we do it again that he would expect X one of the guys who wrote in. It was talking about how many -- the end point. And all -- oil. Way so way vehicle and you're calling the game tonight."
[1:24:55]" got DSL or and then again tonight zone. Will be a actually the the it's for people that don't know the symphony airport is actually not in Cincinnati. Across ordering yet in Kentucky Zola. That's actually where I'm at right now and stumbling lately and airport area hotel yeah yeah exactly and -- we've gotten up to. University of Cincinnati here at about thirty to 45 minutes into. What we're here to go or your house that. I just didn't work so revealed that work to -- in the game monster you'll want to vote on the Sports Radio station in your neighborhood if not. You can go to XM channel 23 tonight Helena."
[1:25:35]" John everybody do listening to the revolution -- counselor. Okay that's true that -- every game I forgot that -- just what actually why I'm not during the playoff. They're going to institute. Well hey listen what their -- they -- out of -- done and I know that that knew them. It is but hi my game go last Thursday because we reading gets talked you know last week."
[1:26:00]" Actually last 31 pretty well on the it was a little bit of the world argued it was a sort of look. A semi surprise put West Virginia played real well we've played dumb Auburn. And you know before the season started. That -- to be one of the -- not you know not Robert came -- you know sectional game intersect will be be here. Okay this struggle a little bit what for being looked more West Virginia or west -- so -- turnover world for them and then tonight is going to book. Battle for survival -- that you it is just because. Both Cincinnati and south Florida. You know desperately want to kind of -- thing in the Big East race and the Big East is if that doesn't have an overwhelming -- dominant team. It's barely get a couple of teams paying enough without for the fiber that's because they they keep you know to keep beating themselves you know."
[1:26:48]" Not a traditional -- Patrick. I also think how Florida little bit of discipline and yes I would have to agree with that."
[1:26:56]" Be honest with the I think that they were kind of pump. Okay I'm in position to be the kingpin in the and they know what instead they're told our whole giving its Pittsburgh which is. Really you don't know road great shame that -- a decent this year but then. They wouldn't somehow inexplicably lost -- mobile last week and mobile doesn't get -- between the -- edit your past. Arm and apparently it was because they last week's self portrait like fourteen penalties and turn the ball overrode you know four times in. You know and then they would call reports on the on the road and you know tackle anybody we play on the road. You can't make mistakes be should result put. You're going to lose you know same thing to be said the Patriots on Sunday night you know and that's what -- itself or so except for the terribly disciplined team. And -- like Coast -- Jim Leavitt the head coach but I just don't know that they have the discipline. Or internally. In an effort to be one of the nation's elite teams just yeah."
[1:27:51]" Well back to the NFL now -- the -- on the game tonight by the way the fact that you play well. You obviously saw the the Rams game last week you were you any announcer. To quickly before we get to Indy -- your thoughts on not on that win over the."
[1:28:06]" Frankly I thought that. Very. It was a big hit just enough to win and I didn't mention this and shook political but it but it was that -- best game that you played. So far this year. I saw some things for -- that. Frankly we have seen -- this year in terms of his decision making. His ability to adjust on the -- His ability get rid of the ball at least a little bit quicker rebel pocket and step open to the into the -- of the pocket one over the -- to collapsed around him and so it'll there's enough there to see that you know he's got an upside. Yeah I think as long as we continue to see an upside. And -- of the Providence journal that actually really good piece on him topic was today that I read. -- comparing his number quite probably Tom Brady's first seven games. As a professional and almost identical."
[1:28:55]" Yeah I saw actually I you're right I think that is in the journal I also saw that says that flashed a broad recon on -- and believe. And it is remarkable how similar they are. Obviously Cassel has the advantage of having been in the system. For years longer than Brady wasn't at that point. But still. You know I I agree with the Cassel is Cassel hasn't really done anything to show me. That he can't run that. In fact it's the opposite I think he's been at rather efficient and some of the mistakes he's made. Some of the interceptions in his early in the ball particularly last week -- or."
[1:29:33]" That's so and so I'm 110% behind that."
[1:29:35]" Oh -- of his act though I think are worth more his faults. In the beginning is I think he was. Escaping the pocket a little bit too soon and not giving it enough time. And I try to run out of trouble."
[1:29:48]" That's why I think that the biggest criticism of him I think it's a fair criticism. But this last week though is the right hand side probably -- look at what we expect -- agree but we saw him. Try to let the pocket develop around him a little bit more and when he bit -- Girardi chose the right time the brought."
[1:30:05]" Ya know I agree with -- and I even wrote in my now after the game that. It looked like at one point Tom Brady out there in in when the pocket would collapse. You're you're seeing Brady just stepping up feeling that Rusch. Typing up away from it for just an extra second or half second and gaining the field making that throw downfield and Cassel did that. A few times whereas. Even a month ago maybe he might have done the opposite hook the ball and run -- tried to a gate and you know not focused down field but he did that against their hands and you saw the result he had a really good game."
[1:30:43]" Right absolutely I totally agree with that so you know what that might overwhelming impression was that -- you know over the Rams in near as bad as they. They played their first four games but I don't think anybody is either as good or as bad as is any one game in particular I think Jim has would certainly as. The right thing for the program but he that this time in the -- This then this week against the you know the Colts I think it's -- you know you boredom of the same things it always doesn't. Well -- the Colts -- some of their injured little pieces are back in place with a -- their effective."
[1:31:15]" Yeah. Well before we get. Started in that Colts game. We have some company in the studio now on my my road roommate Brian hello you me only familiar with this is here with -- return -- Mike on their friend."
[1:31:30]" I have good idea on you know we're to a different experimenting the other day it was union Michael currency. This time union LB you know low -- you know nine studio or on the ball you'll find the right combination eventually. But I like the experiment. Minority yeah."
[1:31:44]" I mean especially with Shell at least this year this the first just because if -- can answer this as well as anybody but. This is the first two that we got some flexibility -- some extra guys that we can actually use. Because invariably I would have put all of them you know hey what you -- hope this is the last football game I have in my schedule night and I sort college basketball on Saturday. So there will be on occasional you know before the focal point and flyers. Yeah exactly -- you know but that stuff happens you know and I am happy that we have Michael and Eric around where we can. And I have them as contributors and said the players that -- really comes."
[1:32:19]" Now it is at all they r.s -- we are people you can use John I mean. You can and I mean that is out there just I didn't I didn't use time that all Patriots all that for the greater good right well -- it really is about. Position flexibility and versatility. Gone we can't have one dimensional people. And here below you know that we are we try to be we try to be most of us succeed. Are not naming names so a lot of it. We got. We're going to be room again this weekend -- vote and -- it and I mean well. Well you know and ends -- most likely you're right him in the IQ -- yeah it's an inside of me yeah mine unless that the knocking on the door at all out. Okay. -- Yasser -- your original point. Prior will -- staring at a hotel I am looking forward to the trip to India are no other reason than we are going to the Weber grill for dinner you know what they want the best on Saturday of the of the the god. I don't overrated John I went there last year in the -- is overrated giant -- I guess I disagree with her -- threw a couple of -- the -- was fantastic well."
[1:33:26]" It might well I don't know how long -- you went my way in February with the with a below and and not Andy Hart for the come -- but it was I've I let that had better that counts. I wasn't."
[1:33:36]" I haven't been -- you know it's like when you -- on an airplane and you flip through the magazine you got those statehouses around America and all that. I am I the only one I've ever been through it pretty good and it -- good but. Not what it is not everything that everyone talked about to -- that -- all they would hit when it's your -- and almost I'll take -- make in the -- you go to an almost I think you know I think you know closing ample time -- I've been on the yet the scouting combine for the few times. Adds an extra extra trip to -- and try to hit it up every now and about they want. -- like -- and we went to the Weber grill. Off which was fantastic. It was fantastic really about that I'm about private extent -- it into it you couldn't bail out that it Shell out straight food and they cook."
[1:34:22]" All there all of there. Offerings on Weber grill. It better and you can he would you know -- date they have the kitchen area wide open he can he in the back there in. Flames going it it's great stuff and they serve generous portions and."
[1:34:37]" Yeah it's it's -- and here we go there it was a bit odd now or has it they're all going to play the game -- I actually don't that they -- cuisine from all big hit it to the game -- us around are going to win any games that night that we always talk for whatever the era exactly."
[1:34:53]" But some of our email -- John and and listeners are on. Concerned about a few things about this game and and rightly so one of them -- from DC who dies a lawyer by the way as we found right if W progress. While no do we think Cobbs is going to be ready to play. Never thought -- spot to -- never thought I'd say these words you read but I really think we need him out there are very concerned about. What Peyton is going to do to -- otherwise you think we can survive this game with a totally green's secondary."
[1:35:22]" When he was our practice -- Hobbs was obvious that practice he missed yesterday missed yesterday he was a practice today Deltha O'Neal are really Lewis Sanders. Was the only cornerback not a practice that doesn't mean that. Hobbs O'Neal -- 100% of -- Hobbs will be in the major port we get a later on today but they need whatever whatever capable bodies they can get in the secondary. In this game really in any game but this game. In particular pop is healthy. You know whether or not -- can stop Marvin Harrison. Reggie Wayne and it's also these guys it's hard to say it but pods isn't available. They do you think about sliding everybody else up one spot in the depth chart you're talking about you don't need you Jonathan Wilhite. Hell maybe starting -- about a Mike Richardson playing in the slot as a third -- you know you got an issue so Hobbs being back out there today."
[1:36:04]" Yeah I I agree to specially after what we saw against the Rams and -- even mentioned it. In the in the game the post game press conference in the day after press conference about how ya you know he admitted they were there -- they were there there were. Searching at the end -- at the -- waste of the plug all the holes that they've gotten in the secondary. -- injuries and and the guy who went out early in the game. Came back and made the key play him or they'll O'Neal. But you know Chris brings -- a point about Hobbs. I think he has shown me something this year that that he hadn't in years past I I think he's starting. I think you know. I'm married to put him in a not to him Miller Ty Law category or can't or and certainly not -- yet but. He's clearly the best corner at a record they have on this team. -- I think that he's there at that day to -- but I think -- actually becoming a you know he'd he'd get injured a lot in games. But he got you can't question a tough the guy comes back a lot and he he's never really missing. Games because of his injuries. And he's becoming a pick a legitimate. A legitimate corner in the league he."
[1:37:13]" Gothenburg the few times on me you know quite a few times but he makes a big play he's got a nose for the ball. On you know these big plays in the secondary overshadowed really anything else. That they've done that the Patriots defense has done. And you can't just you can't just the miss these big players. I'll put Hobbs is a paper I mean I think he's improving. I think you watch him you know tempered by Donnie Avery or Vincent Jackson or whatever annually ought to have you here we go again. On he's pro he always Fortier Murray and -- you know a guy keep that in mind in and out you know it was really Asante Samuel Fortier I think that was it. First big figuring out there you know so you know that they're. You know I I I think the jury still out on him whether and I could be at number -- shutdown corner but like I he's showing up finally. Sure he's showing improvement yeah and -- the point. I -- at times a game tonight."
[1:38:07]" I am only air at 730. Which means I've got to I will be leaving more I'm currently located here in the next fifteen minutes and about a half an hour drive to the campus from where I am."
[1:38:22]" I I don't I don't know bill I don't know how that feels below what I had that happened to me. When I called in from California you actually go that. I remember that well I mean -- would Gary's doing is in the best interest of of what's going on here he doesn't want to talk about any sporting event or yeah."
[1:38:39]" Now you know how it -- below what -- I've -- you're gonna -- I don't know -- other -- doing -- the doctor whether -- be keeping your radio that -- that's where the focus is right -- that even -- or -- radio bullets near the end game -- that's right Gretna green right on the -- I don't know where is John winners' -- in your -- and is in Kentucky on the -- and -- that the Cincinnati south Florida game -- that that that that the game I mean that's what is -- USA era. -- IKEA. To conduct Cincinnati Cincinnati staying in top bright idea right right there. What situation it is it is we've we've been through that situation and done it yet that it's all about the -- So back to the Weber grill at all yeah. Love it grilling steaks on the -- they grow they chicken at all every -- they serve is cooked off of a -- girl that built into the kitchen Gary here we went there once we're there for 45 days went there once it was in the rise over data. Try to go back later in the week you know our halfway yet. Minimum hour and half way to minimum we stay out of had a -- with us he's you know he's only one person -- you have to say easy for four when you go -- that -- you got a -- breakdown how many people -- and to see through you right exactly exactly."
[1:39:52]" But no it was a great place we stayed I believe it was the end -- week in Indianapolis and whoever girls is part of that hotel on the first day we got there like the middle of the week. Early afternoon are hungry got to the plane like Ellis go try to put out right down there is phenomenal food. Phenomenal food great Irving's great portions and then like he'll -- Saturday night. That -- want -- that in restaurants we went through to try to get in on Saturday night having risen because they need more than an hour and a half -- all the plays are we know better now at why equity index -- made the reservation and actually said about locker immigrant and he did -- hop hit next week and the Indianapolis chamber of commerce jumped up. What you know to be fair we do have a listener we have a call and -- PFW progress. Into the Colts have a radio show on their Internet kind of like we do here. With with former Colts players and the coal man who's written and I forget his name. The up my head but. He's written in several times and and I. Because we're more entertaining in the former Colts players know and always R and a whole lot of Colts news from here up on week nine of the NFL's regular rock -- Colts always play the Patriot."
[1:40:59]" Right if it's perfect as ever you know Patriots if it's right week it's Colts Patriots and you better it's gone on -- I'm looking for this new stadium. Lucas Oil. Yeah I know I am I'm not a huge RCA dome guy and and we've been there are so many times in the last two or three years that I feel like I've -- beyond that the development in the construction of Lucas Oil stadium. Step by -- On it but it seems like it's a pretty good one night as far as from the new games are earned and now it takes to get a feel for conduct is is the don't still. -- any right now we're still blown up or what I I I I think they'll ever pocket yet."
[1:41:38]" No I'd love to do that though Woodson and Billick have helicopters to spend over there to pop -- pop a little for. I think these. When we were there for the combine back in February I think what we heard from the at the the Indy area of people was that they were going to build Lucas Oil first. And then deflate the dome and I think build a new conventions now where they don't realize that over the dome is right now so."
[1:42:04]" It's great that's going to be interested you know hotels the convention right stadium. Multi use on aren't -- game is meant that the different story had so many events going on right. Should should be fun I mean there's this game this game every year I don't care that the Colts are three of four and in a date date they still have. You don't they still the same guys in place on you know that they they'll -- capability offensively. To do what they've done in the past. And it seems like this could be one of the weeks where they they do have all their guys are clicking a little bit and help the -- had a die should be back. On the died died -- yet Joseph -- should be back I like what it's not a Dallas Clark yet United and he scored twice. And got the -- the Patriots have done a good job against Dallas Clark in the past yeah with a lower key it's riding accident or running like you're the lone. Exception was BA championship game two years ago when he right he had a NASA game right scored a touchdown other than that. I was that today -- he's played every regular season game. The Patriots Colts have had since he was a -- your -- was active as a rookie but and so forth he has had more than two catches and anyone game I don't think is that more than twenty something yards annual game hasn't scored a touchdown they've been -- do the job on him Rodney Harrison has been a big factor when it comes to that. That's what I'm watching that's really wanted to he. Situations key matchup I'm looking for the game is how did the Patriots contain Dallas Clark without letting those three wideout absolutely destroyed I."
[1:43:29]" I floated this area out earlier this week on it took him progress and earlier in the show. One who you think. Gary guy and has been playing a lot more minutes lately and at linebacker. When the Patriots drafted Jerod Mayo the first round or one inning defensive rookie of the month by the correct. One of the things we heard about him was how great he was literally. Be laterally. And in. Maybe not much in coverage because he would have to do that it is the but. We know that player and -- and size wise she matches up with any tight end. How about you put gotten on the inside in place of where Mayo is it let whom the Patriots come out in in -- yeah because of all the out of India in the present. And light Mayo over to cover Clark like Harrison that -- have -- to shadow which I -- I -- I don't ever like Clark's on because. If your other alternative is to replace Harrison with the safety that replace him. You're talking about either Sanders James Sanders. Or Brandon Meriweather and I think there on the smaller side to becoming a guy like Clark. I know from covering him but I -- I think. He'd clearly have an advantage over either of those two guys that you put a mail out there. Who clearly his eyes yet maybe you know what will he about to beat against him but I think that might be more favorable matchup you put the rookie. Guy who's been getting more time there in the middle. And player your regular nickel and how that works out for at least try."
[1:44:55]" Yeah attention one if I'm not mistaken that if -- championship game that was the game where Eric Alexander. Starts are sidelined and played quite a bit and and -- You know in Dallas where there were problems up the middle. You know it was it was -- it was not the other tight end -- you think of his name right now you you tech and then there was another guy maybe more fullback and I can't remember his name. -- especially late in the game. I there's a guy I can remember name but anyway they're going over the middle and and -- you Eric Alexander was involved a lot and they were targeting him on it may all. Is seen as a -- as a as. But he's certainly a better version of Eric Alexander in coverage and at linebacker but obviously the Patriots in the past have considered. That young athletic inside linebacker tight. To play a big role in a game like this against the call you may be right. That nailed -- and combination one way or another. -- could be very could come in very handy meeting they always the guided the sort of shadow Clark. On it if they have the right guy and play like they did with Harrison and known to replace Harrison but if they do the right -- in place that's what they're looking to do to neutralize Clark -- and dom doesn't think body you know it's it's also a matter of you know can you put that much on Gary tightened. To be a starter in this game -- one way or another though. These guys are playing a big role many of these guys they have it's not like they're you know they're going to find any and anyone -- Downey Junior Seau was going to be appearing."
[1:46:19]" All the -- has not yet not yet not yet I still think -- chance -- there might be some time next month it's getting it's getting that they went out without Sherry were were led by Thanksgiving we all -- I think giving me I think where the other I think on like you know and and after Thanksgiving it would be if there's a disaster injury wise you and you've gotta you've got -- apathy and but. -- tough matchup is a tough matchup we for the Patriots and and -- is this is tough it's tough for a lot of -- going -- in schools on. You know it. Will they will you know I it's a tough one I think I'm interest it definitely in the Clark angle. And they throw three wideout a -- well in addition Clark that's a tough that's a tough for the --"
[1:47:00]" On the other side of the ball they're losing Marlin Jackson for the year on the player of the year. But it looks like they're going to get Bob Sanders and a yeah who not only helps them in pass coverage but there at their completely different team against the run when he's in there. He's one of the most guys only 582 -- pounds. How building and I am and he's a defensive player of the year. And and a great in the running game and knowing -- they had some injuries in the backfield yeah."
[1:47:27]" More going to be out for the game you gotta imagine that your Maroney after the season that left with. LaMont Jordan who I believe was back to back at practice yesterday and today I'm good nine and you gotta figure he's he's rated ago any any. Evidence of of the injury that that you missed practice had -- up this week no Q did the Patriots practice -- shortly after -- really tell much of it stretching out there doing other doin' it."
[1:47:51]" Look like John you know some some nine non you know them running doctoral without the ball to some lateral movement and stuff like that. On you know hearts at all I don't think it didn't look like he was limited and I believe I -- injury report he was listed as limited limited and Richard Wright which which basically means that on he he did something other than part has been actually everything. I did exactly what are not unheard of for a guy to be practiced Wednesday Thursday and Friday coming off an injury -- they'll miss the game right it may come down to what you know game time decision. I I do think they'll. The -- on the Patriots would still feel comfortable if it's -- Evans and Green-Ellis going to the game Kevin Faulk. And the game last week at the game against the Colts last year this could be another Kevin Faulk type game. On I don't see it being a big -- game if you count on for twelve to fourteen carries I don't see that. But I think the Patriots can get can get it done a little bit offensively. Mixing and matching a little bit there using Faulk the way to use him last week which was. You know somewhere twelve to fourteen army guy named Morton at sixteen touches himself some aren't you don't want to do that. You can get away with that every single week. On but he can be effective on a short stretch like that if they to a LaMont Jordan available. That's even better on Gillick rom with some of that is I think that they're going to need the numbers and need the bodies. Defensively. That okay let's say you have LaMont Jordan out there or who. From last week's conference and doesn't suit up who's inactive it's not a one of the cornerbacks in you know those guys -- linebackers. On is it. Another offense why -- I don't that's where all say it is right to have Jordan companies do it right if LaMont -- a 100% and they're -- have no worries about him maybe Benjarvis real."
[1:49:34]" So there's there's -- one thing that. Bill mention in his press conference earlier this week was. The praise that he gave to Robert Mathis and point for me. Probably at the two that the best tandem of pass rushes that there they have a this year and -- you'll face all year. As we know going has given up an inordinate amount of stacks. At OR this year Olympics at all ball already -- almost thirty -- yeah. I like the what -- out of mark with or who stepped in career nick catcher on the right side even Neal has gotten back. At least in a rotational bay at right guard. And on the other side Matt Light and Logan Mankins are you know then they're Teddy -- as they always have been. Odds are the -- going to be able to get to Matt Cassel and force and do things that he doesn't in his early wanted to."
[1:50:32]" I think I think Robert Mathis. It is going to be very -- for the game he'd eaten -- last year and -- back in there I don't know the -- is going to pack in his week. -- catcher oral or. That's a matchup heavily in the colts' favor. And I think that's why -- worried about it I'm -- not a blind side but on yeah I remember there was a play earlier in the game last year catcher got just destroyed by Napa and you know Freeney light I mean I. -- you give the edge to Freeney against virtually any left tackle on other light help is on having like an old zone but -- avoided free last year he got hurt. On before -- game and you know these are quick these are fast. -- that pass rushers on whether or not Cassel gets a lot of sacks -- he's going to be forced into. May be forced into quicker decisions that he's used to doubt what he's been doing is his quick decisions are often right. You know -- he if he doesn't find the open guy early he's going to rot. He's brought Iran a few times this week and you might get hit hard because in -- there was quick decisions. My not to act. But on some of these run plays where whether it's running doing -- try to run outside the sideline more off just to avoid and it is it. I need to be Russell that I think -- you know. If you know the sack total is a very high to sack total doesn't tell you everything right I think he'll be I think he'll be very often. I'm wondering if we're going to -- a lot more. Two -- in the back field or extra tight ends. Help chip on the edge and knows that that's that a topic that we do -- of the waited now Watson and Benjamin Watson and David Toms used. They're combined for the only pamphlet catchers on the season combine. They've been needed in the blocking role more often and dad with the Patriots are missing this year I think is what they've had passed the program Kyle Kyle Brady type of a blocker and virtually offensive lineman. Neither Watson or Thomas. Is that guy they're capable blockers and you're probably right an -- date they've been you know lot of snaps. And more for their blocking more more for blocking him. On -- they've got Heath Evans. And often as well but doubt it that's another good one you know the the usage of Watson and and and Thomas. What other kind of on the block more."
[1:52:39]" Our intrepid producer -- ridiculous enemy this latest practice participation report. The Patriots have their Thursday additions here they -- Pretty much same -- yesterday Ellis though like you said miss yesterday but he was limited today."
[1:52:54]" I I'd put money on and I point yes I would absolutely. I don't put money right yeah the only other changed to the report was that Randy Moss who was limited yesterday with a foot injury full participation today that. -- practiced I want and -- they written. They weren't full yeah yeah in my district is mixed up yet they were. And that's some off and what you I was one of the interesting one because what happens is. -- media goes in the practice at the beginning and then you don't you don't need to rest a practice and on the injury report comes -- a couple of hours later. If a guy appears on the injury report that you didn't expect much Moss was yesterday limited right. The one thing you have to keep in mind is -- got injured during practice right I got to get injured during practice it could be for all we know. A -- can get injured during practice into season ending injury right and you don't really really know until it put on IR right when I saw Moss out there today it's okay. Maybe something came -- practice may be used during the week in -- during the game that we didn't know the fact that you're out there today by all appearances he was going to be able to participate. Mostly in practice right that was good."
[1:54:01]" And the reason I ask about whether it was full pads and -- because if if if you're conducting a walk through or yell practice you -- beautiful you might be able have over to patient yes. It's different story when you go full pads on all out if they're limited -- not your and the fact that he was full participation in a full pads practice is even better you know he was also quite -- vociferous. In the locker room today I don't know over."
[1:54:25]" I'm all I was there as one anything on the loud and it's one thing about him he didn't seem to be showing any military -- oddly -- good natured. Even a little about a little bit we can't repeat it all here we can't really -- here now. Not to say it was mosques being mosques. It was entertaining. I think everybody got sick and the Colts -- they have yet it lives their Thursday participation from yesterday and wait for you know I don't they know they show only -- While they had that other show that nobody listens ha ha politics it ride out that write them yet Gary Brackett -- and -- and Dwight Freeney. Roy -- Dante Hughes -- Jack while wearing a lot Marlin Jackson. Tim Jennings all did not participate. Freddy -- a -- With a -- was limited. Robert -- not injury related did not participate. This is there Wednesday that is there Wednesday when you have an updated Thursday but just keep in mind I -- react on tomatoes because like the Patriots last week then Monday night game on the road. -- they practice. Some of those guys and non non injury related -- there's been not. 36 hours after a tough game yeah we're not practice every exactly gotten out of they want to which -- OC you know until unless and until we see. On him something similar today right on the areas report I wouldn't read too much -- remedies not the Dominic Rhodes Reggie Wayne the other two notables both did not participate broke an ankle -- with a -- I'm guessing he both of them yeah -- the most -- thinking about all that is no Joe who has not out there. There Brandeis pops and thought Sanders right -- that -- well. Going to be a fun game it is going to go away."
[1:56:01]" I think if you -- forecast so yeah I think it's a huge test or at the offensive line. -- test for. The front seven of New England to get pressure and and Jack Manning and for the defensive backfield. For New England so it's not a huge test easily just for the special teams right prolonging. Right -- it is not a big petrol not a big test I'm more confidence AF special teams player of the -- right the Nuggets now how about hands -- You know that good point -- a point yet again the Rams were on the Hanson of old who was kicking the ball far when he and kicking it short and all that well. That could be an interest in game but yeah. Will have one more -- to talk about it amongst our cells before we hit the road -- really want and I talked about a month and I won't be talking about it again next week when we get back but. -- pitcher playbook for the week below what's -- next exit of Eric thank you went there way to be. With -- that you dumped me. You don't I don't I'm not always no no I don't know that I did I do know coming you know go hug below and a load and -- which you listen to all the time and they -- fans EI. Moves. On defense can load on every week I gotta be you know with the idea only on the I have to. Fantasy leagues of which I was part yeah I have not that'll literally -- one of them --"
[1:57:26]" That is just it just disheartening. Our folks pitchers playbook will see you next."
