Play from 0:00[0:00]" All that's gone now -- bombing out at all. These Patriots playbook government outrage at the thought I had it right -- That that -- Patriots playbook. Breaking down less on these games yeah go ahead admitted it and because of -- going to pass over the top nick and he's getting -- go -- it. That they've won fair and the rest of the 2008 NFL decent back cut back on it didn't want a career and some of the ones that the between even and you -- great payment that you want right now."

Play from 0:33[0:33]" he hadn't -- news."

Play from 0:36[0:36]" John Rollins dollar."

Play from 0:40[0:40]" enough but -- negative let's just pushed outward and upward because you know after the elections last night really. Really just have to kind of like the hot I ignore the bad plays the broad impact. We will -- means that playbook here on Wednesday John brook and Mike ready for Patriots football weekly. I hope your favorite candidate one might know. Okay I'll say about that no -- that -- let us. You know I -- look at it somewhat philosophically. Going into the thing I really didn't feel like you know home of the candidate that I -- was going to win but that didn't dissuade me from casting my vote anyway we're not just don't vote somebody because the -- going to win so -- I I really believe that it's John McCain's misfortune. More than anything else and two on two counts number one. He happens to have an. You -- had Alfred. For. Obama toward the end because I think people has caught up got caught up in the in -- as -- in the hole open. All that kind of stuff right he is a very charismatic individual there's no doubt about it questions -- either feel good story I mean it's a meteoric. Historical rise. On in the man was in the state legislature in Illinois. Forty years ago and now he's president of the United States I really like that for a second think just think about that we're second bad is. Not only remarkable it is a down right miracle."

Play from 2:19[2:19]" It's great he's a great public speaker but you know those counties and and there are a lot of guys speak well in public -- And in what we're looking for -- these -- you get -- point -- have to -- but we're saying -- I just -- I think -- Well I think my it was to have -- no matter how well as I don't I don't buy in right now I totally I totally -- a you know what but. That's why I just hope people voted because they liked what he had a nap because they dislike Republicans and there are so but I put the Bush Administration at the -- on the put anybody in there. Who has the behind their name we can only hope that that the majority the overwhelming majority that voted for him. I hope that people are not small minded enough. Aware that all the other bowl Obama because I hate bush and I think that's I don't -- that John and you know I -- the emanated -- and mine. Person that while you know if you -- I think I'm happy that you're you're just you're bitter old white man in Europe federal race like and the well. Well there hasn't been a black -- on the ticket and in my generation. All right and I hope that Democrats -- right so yeah. Oh my he's not voting Democrat -- exact has nothing to do it that it is nothing to do nothing what was or whoever I'm happy not to go very. Although we'd like regular didn't have. A factor in this I think there's no doubt about it because I think people got swept up in the euphoria. All of the possibility that we might actually put -- or don't ever come -- now here. That's that would correct and -- what what calorie up to this I hope he does the job because he's our commander in well now we have to support him that there's a big elegant. Here's the big thing we'd all better -- a little prayer that he does the job you know high. -- Exactly I think we all need to realize that we better get behind him what you voted former not that you'd better get behind the man in not abandon him like so many abandoned George Bush I agree on a present a lot of people of being in -- wouldn't support. His president -- across the fact that you know both for and and vote for Obama but I -- apart for uncle Bob because he's in charge of a lot of them exactly our best and that's exactly what I have to do that only 20010%. Agree come I'll be -- I support the office of the presidency and today and whoever is -- it. At the man I'm going to support as long as this country says this is who we've got to support or this is who we're going to put in this position I just. You know hope and pray that you know he can make chicken salad chicken Brothers. At the -- you know. I could just elaborate what's really among -- yesterday I candidates that you can't you know wash in your -- apparently you have. -- pretty foul mouth on the radio -- but all right if it's just awful isn't it a shame on me. I mean I thought our show is bad but this you to pop -- it to a new level. And we got a lot of bad things on now Gary and I don't think that it's not I'm not technical a lot of -- I think I have I think there's always go everywhere sit at a luxury of PFW in progress habits yet it's exactly -- that's -- told Fred Fred you're just a bad bad influence on me Fresno that it actually enjoy -- much time. -- wait too much from listening -- you know that that that big problem Fred has a -- has by the way they can nine and a half I had because they're coming come into the and I put the headphones on -- my neck that's on several notches of these things. Right now --"

Play from 5:39[5:39]" Who we get all that away and I promise that's going to be hit for the extent of the political blog I'm sure we sort of got some people thinking like all either going to do this again today. No no no no that's not the show's all about although you do have some comments on. Something that we have already mentioned by all means this is a free forum here okay so web radio at. Patriots dot com and let it fly even if you're ticked off for the two of us for saying what we've been saying that's fine. It's free form in only can be football certainly but it doesn't have to be based on the absolute. Not only national. Story of importance but world store -- the importance that transpired yesterday in our room. In our voting polls across the US arm. The I was actually going to get into all the -- it's affected hate -- going to remember the fact that. The Patriots are going to be now -- trying to extend an eight game winning streak over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday."

Play from 6:31[6:31]" It's amazing how in this division because divisions always been competitive and in division games in general are -- up on every team to when he wrote and anybody. I was like I -- nine games it's actually nine because and they weren't given the work on that they would Miami's had a year there are so bad human the other -- fourteen to a -- Miami. Yeah who went fourteen right I mean those strange things happen but when the bills play the -- it doesn't happen. It's it's phenomenal that absolute correct nine you have. Give us an email or -- on the radio go our pal -- and that. John -- India is podcast laws on my lunch break. I just taken a big whether it's going to opener at all and that game and you call -- and hole. I like our that I hit to an all across the table my coworkers I'm not very pleased -- odds of making money at the end that the minds of John is going to be cranky today. And Eagles on the say I know I miss nitpick -- David figured I'm here I would put a pin. I agree with you about the fourth down timeout and -- well -- not going deep to Moss at all. Living in the general area of Buffalo and taken -- I moved here in and you -- and it's gone from thinking crap -- given crap and hopefully I'll be on the giving end for a few more years ago that."

Play from 7:50[7:50]" That's great that's an excellent yeah because they. -- and listen I'm I'm very happy that I gave. Good -- fourth a little bit of the jocular in his life popularity. You know I'd -- Eric with that the big -- the crap out more than three syllables I don't know. John Q later if that's -- putting -- my last name is theories and and that -- actually I can understand why you know there was a little bit on the character with the you know vital have thought of that of the of the name of the guy yesterday here and he was give me credit they can remember the name of the -- it was going to -- Brian Jensen as the play by play voice of the Texas Tech red Raiders and Brian and I worked in local television together. Back in the early 1980s. In Texas he was. He was sports director at -- television station in Beaumont Texas while I was. -- Texas which is this the far southeast quarter. Corner of the state near the Louisiana border. And I was portrait -- station in Waco Texas and so cover in the old southwest conference as we did. We ran into each other all the time we got to be very good friends. Brian ended up going to work at WA affiliate channel -- Dallas for a few years. On in the NF for they didn't renew his contract and a funny how that works in this been is in this business is that happened in the appeared to. He is and obviously he's at Texas Tech graduate. And he was able to -- all latch on as the football voice the red Raiders taking over. For a gentleman who had been the voice the Raiders like four years name of them but the manager dale and I realize this mean probably nothing to anybody lecture statistic there. And I remember when Brian got the job and this has been probably. 810 years ago cause I was right about the time that I started -- Boston College football. It's what cinemanow congratulated him and you know Lebanon landed on the speed after getting -- ceremonies -- for a -- channel late in Dallas. And he thought he told me he cities on cloud nine I mean chance to do. You know here's the play by play for his alma mater. It was something that you know he'd been hoping everybody have a chance -- the only thing I could -- possibly better -- would be for you to be the voice of -- Holliman -- and so I'm like well you know I'm only that'll ever happen in. And I'm sure enough it hasn't yet but I haven't really -- you know I looked into that so. He is the first person I thought of actually. After I got over all of my anger and disgust with the game on Saturday night. Brian the first -- that I thought of the amicable you know what. I know one person that had a helluva night in Lubbock Texas on Saturday night so I'm happy for him because it's always great you you put your heart in your soul. Into covering the teams that you cover I do it. I didn't you know when I was doing Boston college and I still do as I do the Providence friars game on the radio it was my twentieth -- recover them and frankly Mike I do it. When I'm sitting at the microphone you know at Gillette Stadium. It is it our best interest and I will make no bones about it. It is in our best interest and are always the hard."

Play from 11:04[11:04]" I couldn't agree -- 2 absolutely yeah it's same with you players more bearable and easier to deal with. And that's fine and he -- when they deal with all the -- but it tends to mean this is different stories and me from the locker room while. There's always awaited the -- but yet players generally a better mood after -- and technical or any team."

Play from 11:27[11:27]" Absolutely absolutely so. -- I'm happy for him you know and I'm ready to move on you know. Frankly getting through that four game gauntlet that Texas did within three and one record I think is. Is definitely a good thing it's not a bad thing that was -- original for the season started I was you know hoping they can win one or two in the unit of one entry. So in a one all things are equal I'm I'm happy with that is this team is still a year away. It only got thirteen seniors on the whole team. So because of that I think next year's got -- the year. And they're still not out of this you that's the beauty of all tech has to do was lose one. In Texas will automatically -- go back above them in the rankings. And if there's a three or four -- tire whatever in the big twelve south public break the tie. In at the plate for the championship is the highest ranked team in the B yes and it's going to be Texas if they don't lose again in here for a playoff when an. -- I do have to admit. A do have to admit and that's the one thing actually that I heard that Obama had to say on the air the other night when he was on what parliament and catch it live it -- the clips. Was he said that he thinks the -- he has -- a joke and he'd like to see like an eighteen playoff. An and quite frankly. I'd like to see that too yeah a couple of the things that I actually happening on with a Obama. You can take this current structure of the four major bowls. You know Rose sugar fiesta orange. And play off the four winners into national semifinal."

Play from 12:54[12:54]" I think it be and you're only -- Kodak he watched them at a big I get a commitment of the college football guy went to URI is going to be great college football. It's always been there yet Pittsburgh and you know in this northeast in general John is not a big it's not a -- college football -- we did not grow up watching. That sport as others had -- right right right. But I I watch the big gains in there are more big games and I certainly want them. So I know adopt them as -- not just the casual fans who enacting the hardcore fans. Has started to come around like the same thing it's more footballs that are well Baltimore date."

Play from 13:27[13:27]" You know as well as I do it's all about money in the -- you know school president's university presidents from a country to say that your knowledge too much football. It's too much time what studies that bull we have and we don't get them. All we could do was get to a number of where they'll say one now in the draw will open and dropped to the floor and -- in. That's all it is it's all about the Benjamin's and we all know that. And all you're doing in this instance. Is -- adding Warren later. And quite frankly from the into the regular season. Which for most people is either the last weekend of November which is -- things can we get or the first week in December for most teams they're going to go complete four weeks before they -- game between the in the regular season and a bowl game anyway. So let's back up the Bulls and get him started right there after the end of the regular season you know after like the fourth the fifth and all of December wherever it is right. Start the Bulls then and that way. You're probably getting you know you're adding one extra week to you need to put the semifinals before you play the champ but your game right. You'd probably be done. With the college football playoff by the latest mid January and what are most schools doing in mid January -- Nothing exactly and break. It. Late exactly what sense -- it's way too much sense. So I don't. I don't know I am -- to see an executive order come down now I would be a total Obama fan if the first thing he did what is this the presidential bickering and -- Our on our cars -- exactly if liberty flop and that's exactly what would happen. So anyway. But that was kind of an interesting sidelight to them in the whole football week -- and a election cycle of and."

Play from 15:14[15:14]" You know -- of football -- think of the possibility of DeAngelo Hall. Being you don't want and -- ability of our league the possibility of possibly in coming here I of the I've signalled for."

Play from 15:25[15:25]" I usually -- I agree. You right now if you E Street free agent type -- things so you know you can get him for short money right. And if you can get the -- short more money knowing that you've had the problems you've had enough you start to pile up injuries back there you absolutely have to do. This is not like. Earlier in the year when I was advocating for bringing in a veteran quarterback. Because you know let's face it Matt Cassel has proven me wrong in proven everybody else wrong who didn't like the fact that he -- you know come in and taken control we office. You've got more bodies that you have to cover four and right now they're just getting short of bodies. In De'Angelo hall maybe maybe somehow lightning strikes twice and he can find some of that that magic that he had when you know he was a top draft pick and let's bring him in here and see what -- can do."

Play from 16:12[16:12]" Well -- the news today on -- going to IR -- and that is not a big impact move he had not been active in any element racquetball and Brett there's nothing there -- about right they use their roster spot to resign Jason Webster who is here in camp but -- not really participated all because he was hurt and rehabbing. Now here's a guy who has some talent but has been injured his entire career and really can't ever on the field so. The big concern now is he is going to be another body who was bothering her. Purity have Wheatley is down we don't know for how long but I think his participation was limited today corner -- Reno who was at practice. And that he wasn't out there during the media portion Lewis Sanders also is not out there and he has played in a couple weeks now so your argument and people. I think pop with the resigning away at indicate that there -- little or two ago we leave -- not to long term but maybe for a couple of weak and was. Wheatley was Wheatley -- today -- practice now. Eric that he was not out there aren't those ten minutes how's -- Aren't fun though that could be a problem going Florida maybe even a couple of weeks he'll need healthy body out there and Webster fits the bill but. It as a lot when he was available knowing I'll wanted what I think that today that. This was one of the first work as an indication that he's worked. Maybe -- calling but I don't know if anybody terribly impressed. And in a banana Ryan was out there and passed over him to bring in -- guy who never even on the field and practice. On those with -- And that was evident they Clement at a camp but he started four pre season game. -- that there is a lot that the problem back -- I mean the guys that are available. Aren't -- home about I mean this is another one of those years where you're bringing guys like Mike stone and Artrell Hawkins. And you try to make them which positions and do things and you doin'. I mean Artrell Hawkins had a pretty good -- here for awhile but you as a street free agent and the guy that nobody else really had any interest in the in singles -- went. The big thing with dialogue being out there -- the fact that he probably want more money than you weren't right that's that's a big hold up by. I still feel like if they won -- dialogue that can happen and I don't know they. I think we'll be good idea of -- the out of should we felt that we think we have to realize that in an opponent so let's move on DeAngelo Hall is extremely intriguing. I agree I mean he's still young used Jack that -- four. Canty also add to your special teams -- say that special team guy you I -- that's always a plus guys but for now we need the body back into. Defense backfield for a form right and a guy could. Cover I mean but did you know series from raider fans and people who -- the -- he has always really been in the right -- Well this or Clinton or that his skills are diminishing which -- kind of alarming given the fact he's only been in the league you know or five -- exactly -- got a lot down corner in college eighth overall pick in 4. I -- only Atlanta Falcons rating. He."

Play from 19:10[19:10]" Absolutely was one of the best defensive back to college at him along time when he was playing at Virginia Tech that was when I was doing the BC games -- got seem every Europe close and personal. Always thought that he would have made not only a good quarterback but he's a great kick returner punt returner special teams -- I thought he'd be able to contribute immensely and in in immediately and for whatever reason. He just has not lived up -- any response or any of his. Of his advanced billing and so in this regard. That's why this is such a perfect thing here's a guy that could very well have that quote on quote chip on his shoulder and the Patriots have made obviously they've made. A lot of chicken salad chicken for the like -- pulling up veteran guys who -- looking for another shot."

Play from 19:51[19:51]" And you know it's ironic how things work this year when they've put somebody in in the lineup and fill -- on -- the the minute LaMont Jordan goes in there and -- and play yet. And then Morris replaced him and he hits as the running back -- the quarterback in and we goes in there after Deltha O'Neal that -- that the team we go and always restart and he gets very get called -- I mean it's a revolving door. And been that way all year and I don't know if there's any light at the end of the tunnel may be what -- can stick. But I mean I would be shocked that I went it was out there on Sunday it hurts them. Visit to would be protocol and then play the way it worked there."

Play from 20:32[20:32]" Then you have your excuse to bring -- a guy like hall now. Is this -- in this regard I mean I think we saw where. You know both Jonathan Wilhite in Mike Richardson got a chance to play and -- that they were both matched up at various times. Against a guy like Anthony Gonzales settlement field on Sunday night in mixed results if not you know worse than that for both of those guys so. Are you of the opinion now that one or the other is going to get an opportunity to sort of you -- win this job over."

Play from 20:59[20:59]" Yeah I think I don't think anything that aren't Eric cornerback position and hasn't been that failure Lewis Sanders started the first game and by the time Deltha O'Neal got caught up he was starter but we've already talked in detail -- and so -- and now. Wheatley was stepping forward a bit and get playing time. Will play is more of a lot defenders so I -- him on the outside -- I don't think that his role that will we be here to do. -- will play so we we can't go. Would you packet and after the US or Owens O'Neill hit back in the lineup so -- as a rotation there with who's going to get the playing time. You know and the coverage wasn't great against Indianapolis when we all agree that the Manning when he won the throw and had a row was making throws it well. I thought he was picking them apart I think on the net optical and it -- just in an -- and that was the run because the past playing nickel. Well you know I think your Peyton Manning you've got Reggie Wayne you've got Marvin Harrison -- Clark. You've got Anthony Gonzales. They have Terrence Wheatley Deltha O'Neal will. Remember. That that -- Low on via via you have to trust your get open or Carl what the coverages. That those years are better than those offense back -- if you put. I mean you -- five guys you can put Gary myself you -- back there in nickel coverage and doesn't matter. Throw on. It -- game and made little -- that they shouldn't throwing all night and it was pretty clear from -- that it Iowa and anything because that the wind at their very nice job out in the and -- apparent early on though. Out of ditch our running game how to kept current until they got me in the -- never stop them. That this COLT had two red zone possessions they scored touchdowns on both positions on touchdowns Anthony Huggins. You know in Olympia that it even before the half during the two minute offense before the half. And they were moving the ball pretty well into the and having timeout they they can stop the clock. Manning complete long pass and and Marvin Harrison who retired about five years doesn't call anybody. Days in bounds to the oblique. It can't stop the clock and and therefore the -- that happens they were Gordon that's right to probably. They were moving at will through the year. And in his season it would have not had a ton of us on the football at -- that alarms me going he -- all up in arms that the great loss. It bothers me B I don't know I."

Play from 23:31[23:31]" I -- I totally disagree that this was not a good knowledge it's -- and Mike I'm one of those guys that never think any losses grew and I could see where is your team. That you were downtrodden and you hadn't competed for a number of years and you go in in May -- play the defending Super Bowl champs and -- hold them to a you know a couple of scorers you lose by three or whatever now I could see what that could be termed a good loss. If of course you know you've been used to being down the time but right."

Play from 23:57[23:57]" Not a good team you can have been lost totally -- will be a good game. And girls it was a quarterback at -- five into team coming in again that was green for. Now I get a hold desperation angle but a lot of teams are desperate -- can't win that that that that's irrelevant to me. You with a better team I think they were there a better team in the cult team added physical team like Paul this afternoon of the -- the warm up. And Manning just threw it well and that and that wants me a little alarmed me is there inability to score in the red zone book I which I thought it corrected. Has a very good here at home the last two week against St. Louis. In Denver and I thought okay they've turned the corner and Allen in -- maturation. Is a sign that there are no move forward here in the making more plays either one either actually punching it in. And they go out there against the Colts and at one point 41. It's unfortunate and that and that's the big difference in the game at the big big this corner one more those possessions."

Play from 24:53[24:53]" when. You know I you know -- I just I've never I've never thought ever. At any point Sunday any losses termed a good -- and I and I certainly thought -- after Sunday night because there was so many opportunities for this team. -- to take control to season and they just could not ever. Get over the hump and because of that I I felt frustration. More than anything else and the problems that I saw. Were all correct double mean you know there are questionable decisions made by the coaching staff. Questionable decisions called you know on the field especially defensively even often I mean they're just there were too many things I thought that transpired in the game. That the Patriots could ultimately control. There's not a lot that it'll was out of their control -- in the fact you know he has an -- you know the other -- credit for making plays and the -- and a couple of occasions but really. Honestly you'd look at the big picture mean they held Peyton Manning eighteen points what's wrong but that's nothing wrong with that well are."

Play from 25:49[25:49]" That is to -- own possessions in the fact that he completed almost every -- Yeah until they did well our red zone defenses approach in his thing -- didn't have a lot of possessions that the offense. Move the ball officially -- a lot of the clock. God forbid the deny and they had to -- more otherwise the cult would have had more drives and probably had more points and I think their offense -- and -- While I kept wanting the offense on Sunday it is wrote down the field that night and it is regarding the the most frustrating part that I had was. Not attacking those Indianapolis corner when one guy I was distinctive -- created a bit to get out of you know with the -- you know what I'm straighten. Biggest I could I could not believe that I reached for all the ball. One time Randy Moss in the first and it goes -- all their hands out to me as a reason why this is not a good -- It's a stupid -- because they didn't take advantage of the opportunities that were presented and it goes back the info -- about the Colts game and offensively. Again you the you in Ratliff playing on it again name. Guided picked up off the street at two other quarterbacks on the line up at the line. I don't care how many guys he dropped back in coverage. These guys and nobody. Out you bring him a look or look at the -- look -- some things but I just to get actually the other point about this possibly being a good law. As they were two games at people what to means that while. Look at these gains by compared and one of them was the giant last year in the season finale against New England. Trying to thwart their you know he's and they lost that game but he played hardening in the all. Credited that team with the help them during their player. While the difference or that -- didn't matter that the they were already in. And the already had -- team that they knew -- in the post season that was not a meaningful game this game could mean that in the playoff race because of this loss in -- a three way tie in the in the right far more of an impact in the second in knows what it was 2001. When the Patriots lost a close game at home to the Rams. In November -- garment acumen. Foxman but -- to the written about him a football right here. The Colts -- at 34 record and plus we didn't know much about -- one Patriots yet this was before the hold tiny the -- again. That this this Patriots team for better -- for worse in regards the fact that Brady's out is held to a higher and it. And the Colts are had not been good that those games and even compare that sort of a certain this was not. In any way shape or form a bit lost. Where there encouraging things within yet I think Cassel played always improve yes you can always find the silver lining in the otherwise dark one out but that doesn't make it -- law no it. And I got a really nice era dog fight. And now you've got three division games in a row which I think they I think among those teams in the they're still the favorite to me I think the way --"

Play from 28:43[28:43]" They honestly should be but I I also like the fact that I'm listening. While it was last night or the day before but I'm listening you know on -- the -- on his -- and in some of those you know yet he has officials sent or -- good judge in the ball of the -- route to the division and I'm like you've got to be kidding me. What are they watching. Yes Dolphins now I did -- yesterday show that I that the Dolphins have three teams. In the AFC east. Which one worried me the most down the stretch were on it was Miami because Miami has by far away. The easier yeah of anybody else in the division and their only your game back at foreign force of the Marty gone further than anybody thought they would get this year. It's and now the Dolphins have to be considered a true contender. Especially since they already -- win over the Patriots."

Play from 29:29[29:29]" They can be in or heading in scheme at Miami. That could be real tough spot for both -- and we don't know what New England will be at that point they could be at an injury and maybe -- team but maybe -- these next two. And I look at it I mean god forbid. Somebody evident marine who I'm aiming to pull the third place. A lot can happen in the victory and -- hobby again I and I said this at any reminders that these next three weeks this is the season. Or he's angry this is the season the Patriots need to come out of this. No worse than two and one and the bills are big -- you can they've already lost two division games. And -- not a -- fall on I agree I agree so you know this is a huge game for the bills -- beat up by the -- with admiration equals victory and after from the -- going to win because -- through at least the Patriots are going to have their handheld I would also -- you know he's you have to win your home games especially -- in the division yet it also puts you know the onus on the Patriots which makes. This Sunday's game pretty special. And in this that this is an addition be a great game that you are right definitely funnel we have to enjoy these next three weeks. Could get Buffalo coming here Sunday. That yet come here on Thursday night which I'm not happy about -- Niedermayer and greater audience there and let him exactly right -- that same IBO world title -- them don't and aren't I get screwed. This team play one Thursday's game in five years yeah and got to be this there's ST Peter renfro it all on the -- hockey obi got. That's only good contender war is going to Andrew Friedman yeah and they'll have canine branded. And and in Gary brewer coming into the hole contender alumni. -- green during the part of it anyway back to the football but I did talk about -- but it felt like -- of the contenders. -- want tickets. We have that -- game the Jets come here on Thursday then off to Miami for a big showdown -- team that is what you -- 2451 home at home right earlier this he's that huge huge game and take it so -- on the schedule -- and -- that they knew that that happened. They go three way tie in all three of those teams that I'd be on the field -- three weeks playing each other. Now that -- might and chipping out are are making out like we think well maybe the other and they're all on the same spot that three week. But I tend to think that this is an opportunity for the Patriots separate themselves from the actual absolutely going into the stretch on because they're scheduled -- that typically -- The only difference is in the ever there on the road. But the quality of a point that they play Seattle. Who who is terrible and Oakland terrible. In nine -- Buffalo should be top but the quality of the opponent is not and I think they can beat Arizona here. They are coming here could be tough but I don't think their schedules -- fairly daunting in the last by its week. The volume of road games would be concerned because in beating the Jets in week -- this team has not had a signature road and that kind of bothers me too well and I think their body about."

Play from 32:29[32:29]" Yeah I realize that a -- To me the sign of a mature team in the sign of a potential champ which team is a team that can beat teams in the road but beat good teams on the road and this team. This Patriots team is not there yet they could have taken a step toward that had they won this game last Sunday which is why. I'm actually incredulous. That anybody would turn this a good law right it's not a good law get done and lost one -- team be talking about all the poise he showed on the road a tough -- played be talking about six and two game lead in hand. With three coming up in the division and you control your destiny just like you did a year ago. And I guarantee -- the national media will be talking about the Patriots almost in the same breath as they did a year ago and without Tom Brady. That's my friends would be a story."

Play from 33:16[33:16]" Absolutely and they've dropped the ball big time and exact a lot of little things added up and we know about Jabar Gaffney drop. We know about David Thomas penalty at the end all of those things factored in. The root of the problem is that -- that's been a problem all year and it -- on offense and it looked at. As the print and on -- I don't know how that improves I don't know how the secondary is improved with the same people out there all year. You would think with castles maturity. At some point the -- something will click but that we thought that the two weeks prior to that right and it has and then it goes back to square one again -- Humble humble little worried about but I'm excited because at this going to be a lot of on the green on excited about it but you know since the trepidation there should be."

Play from 34:02[34:02]" The other should be and I know -- of course there's -- there's up just a slight part of me might that's like you know so used to what's gone on here around the last figures -- like. You know not like this at all under the -- the crowd but rather take the irony is everything yeah they're pretty -- to be fun now well yeah. Well why everybody else around the league is looking at the should be fun Patriots right now -- you know kind of a wringing their hands but. Yeah this is what you want you want to game that means something in this year. You've got a game that means something every stink in weeks a while that may not be great. You know for a lot of Patriots fans it's fantastic for fans the they have and I think it's more -- to beat the crap -- him well course it is courses because you like to be making him only camp but yet realize that isn't going to happen that doesn't happen in the real world is certainly not going to happen in the NFL. So you know it is so rare even so in the NFL because the NFL's we all know is a -- wrap this up with a with a political comment. The NFL is socialism personal wanting. It and -- it is it's it's socialistic. Because the NFL wants parity. And parity means everybody's eight Nate in May the best team win. After the Patriots have done that. Along with the you know just handful of -- teams but and anybody else over the last decade or not -- quite the decade right admit that correct and so now the Patriots are -- back of the pack. They're spreading the wealth. Dot. They're spreading the wealth -- other -- well the opportunity. That's exactly what's going on here -- It's exactly what's going on here so the now that you know you're gonna get a battle -- you go this is what you gotta we gotta battle."

Play from 35:39[35:39]" And my buddy you are -- your best -- That mean email while back I want to read it because we were any -- bitching about our accommodations weekend. Oh what was thrown your company -- the hotel gym lacked in terms of heavy -- they'll. And we're gonna have dumb bells on the indicated with a walker early. Treadmill -- I I don't I don't run on him them than it is all I need is an exercise and trying to trying to put Donnelly I'm you know people lose him kind of put on weight. They had with 35 pound bundle as -- as as all the doubles over had a lot. Well I don't know why. On over the guns. I got a back thing -- squad in the long time I in my back the final thought. Why don't pay -- but the ball getting all the work you got to work -- have a -- yeah seeing guys on the Gonzalez or maybe ten minutes is not a good day. The -- last -- the ladies. Yeah you'll find other means sort of glued I'll I'll do -- late neck size but the squat and I'm not I'm not 21 anymore right into. Okay I'll heal over in pain but that I want -- want to couple decades now we don't. We talked to our as a football PFW in progress John -- is is what in the switching things -- didn't switch -- Gary gets mad at me drape from the pac ten. Straight from the fact we don't do football field. We've been talking politics the last two days -- little of everything. Everybody -- our -- Jeffrey also emails and he actually touched on a point that we just made okay you guys were talking about corners. The Colts had Ratliff not even know we have the corner the innings replied -- and we have Moss and welcome like -- put -- on. Where are you that was out."

Play from 37:20[37:20]" That was to me one of the biggest -- failings of the entire game on Sunday both -- not attacking the corners of the Colts until too late. Until two like they did finally a little bit in the second half of Moss look at more with Welker mean -- going to remember Welker to never catch and for every now. So that's why I'm like you know what in the world are they doing. And I think I'm Lamar possibly all around him I just I was totally and completely dumbfounded. At. And the offensive game plan in the first half he just made absolutely no sense whatsoever."

Play from 37:52[37:52]" Every as -- in that at best as they they give him number 82 he won and I said that I said that on yesterday show and it's at that point best thing. That is the absolute best in the John Madden is set in five years I agree I think he's under present that on. Brady would not care they're playing nickel hey how do you -- do. You be like that -- downfield. No restaurant."

Play from 38:15[38:15]" That's right let's let's get a break in here and then want to take a little bit more time looking closely at the bills. And I also want to take a look at some of the that the personnel groupings and some of the individuals. On both sides of the football and get Mike curry and these viewpoint of what their mid season grade. I lean green okay about that he like that. Q what you think because you know you watch these guys you see them and let's get a little bit of insight from -- so that we're going to do that coming appear inside the play -- animal."

Play from 43:57[43:57]" Don't -- exactly you know yeah. A little bit viewed by some really good qualities -- He -- No secret that I think. That gives them."

Play from 44:09[44:09]" Like -- welcome back we continue with baker playbook on here for a Wednesday John -- with the POWs Mike for renting. Team is fifteen in one. Fifteen. And one in games following a loss since the beginning of the 2003 seasons -- not a lot of back to back opportunities for -- for the Patriots. Although you'd have to say that you know of the certainly. Could be one but we spoke with mark Kelso yesterday does the color on the radio broadcast on the bills radio network and in. He definitely thanks -- the bills team is really a little bit having lost through the last -- to basically what what was up with that and is thought was -- team too banged up and so what aren't we all and you we just both coming a little -- out of that but. Fact is is that that you know there are some key injuries in Buffalo's. On Buffalo's side not the least of which is in a guy like Schobel the president which ought to make Matt Light very -- and I to me that could be one of the of the biggest losses of the mull that one. And -- Whitner -- that you know in them at cornerback certainly going to make them I think someone pliable and frankly here's another chance. But the Patriots offense to take advantage. You know of some of perceived weaknesses like they didn't do against the Colts."

Play from 45:22[45:22]" The win -- used because he played number roles in the secondary weathered the corner. Nickel back and and packages are playing kind of a hybrid rules linebacker clothes line of scrimmage and bill talked about it today and how versatile player he is. And without him now you don't really have anybody in Dudek on the guy's complete those roles and multiple base this team by team though it's hard to take 19 do that you may have that to a three guys feel and and equality in the -- job because of that -- trouble now for -- they've had to deal -- that. And he he media that he's in two with a lingering injuries right -- Pino with him coming back you know for the season finale in England. Depending on how important that game being but I think the big loss here is indeed Whitner. Because the fact you have a match a big unit needs to throw the ball more and if you have any sort of weakness in the secondary. The Patriots should try to like that -- guarantee that they will. But my guess they'll try this week now I've been in after three for a week that passed as -- as act and we haven't seen anything materialize like what is it that -- very troubling to me that we're not seeing this I don't think they they -- a lot of really don't make a lot of people. They didn't trust him a 100% and by god they should've gotten a quarterback they could trust by premium makes it might you know how much confidence -- or. He's the quarterback technical Europe. Yeah I got a call the plays to record. But they talk much but has improved pocket presence and how he's not taken acts anymore. How -- stepping up now he scrambled at the right time off that case and I would take the training wheels off and let him throw the ball down -- him more. I seen one too many greens are quick -- right side dump off and act now on Allen and bonds. -- and I think you have the opportunities do that. They that the one -- and it was that they that they play the entire team ran the ball well. Currently you can keep -- in any law that over the top the Gaffney and Europe try it all -- yeah. And then it went back to the end. It's almost that there were too timid try to play again and try some. How much of that level wildcat formation like you know Miami did the Patriots you know while throwing down he'll ruin a broader than that -- and screen but but the tribe -- that all behind -- split out there right. But have a back."

Play from 47:47[47:47]" The inning along sidewalk. So Woody and do they obviously Paul and either on the ball so that would it was a much versatility on their wildcat play. That to me is still something that has a work in progress and -- kind of figured -- better formation and a better way to run a bit more effective and I think you can see it."

Play from 48:04[48:04]" Do you get a sense though that -- orange just a little bit disappointed of the Patriots ran that I mean didn't it seem like the Patriots are. Finally copying what other teams are doing and and has that been in the past the Patriots from one setting the trends offensively and others were copying them."

Play from 48:19[48:19]" Yeah I'd agree with that surprised -- editor -- I under -- in the past but not not to that degree well they've done that primarily. When. They were. Reeks of desperation trying something -- the offense going let let direct snap the ball -- you can -- going let -- throw deep. That's really -- guys who just signed -- no -- all an -- it can't be that obvious candidate. Well now I just think. I admire them is they they he would Indianapolis playing and again goes back to that point. They'll take what they give us that -- and that they run the football on the radio well Johnny B in the ball pretty darn well I thought. On Sunday 140 yards I thought that was really well considered. No one of their three top backs are available but that -- for more than one shot down field. It literally took one shot and Irene and and that was the one to capital and progress yes. I mean if you gotta run that much you gotta be sitting up on the -- of the bigger or something -- with more of them more volume keep. You go to the well again. Absolutely. And again. In. Well let's."

Play from 49:41[49:41]" Let's talk about and maybe some of the players who are getting it to borrow your Fraser just limit. On both sides of the football -- academy Anderson I'm I've got about. A good 23 guys on each -- of football that I'd like sort of a mid season report card on. -- these three guys at least in my opinion I thought the book was sort of open with -- words. You know he could go either way I mean it would be great for the Patriots to get solid performances out of on the frankly before week one we didn't really know what we were going to get -- some curious now as to what you think the Patriots have at this stage of these individuals that's okay. Sure okay let's do all right let me let me start then that if -- if -- a letter -- you give me a letter -- right and we start defensively then what the rookie Jerod --"

Play from 50:25[50:25]" Hey. No question about it he's been in on a lot of -- Played a lot early in the year in and he's been their most consistent playmaker to me now -- the rookie mistakes make time to time nothing and build them at all. I've been very impressed with -- he's out there as much as he is usually the conference the coach and that hasn't him. There are enough aren't really want from the lineman Richard Seymour. He plot. To be there. You know -- so much coming out of camp of how he was healthy and hit them down a bit -- be a monster year but. You know what the recurring theme in all three losses. Has been a lack of a pass rush we need to really talk about that today and are now the game as they lay a finger on Peyton Manning and but it laid a finger on Chad Pennington and lay a finger on Philip Rivers against the charges either. And that alarming and no. You know I know the not the defense designed to get back in the -- I think the guys that Seymour or Warren Wilfork. Should be putting more pressure at some point in the opposing quarterback and it only union -- not -- And I want to go to the second -- guy who's one of the few that actually been back there at least complaining and that Ellis Hobbs. -- really act good yeah I think you start out strong this year mightily -- plainclothes of the ball taken more chances. Covering his receiver which we end up in the past -- that kind of lit the bit and I started the separation and that that was a problem last year where he's not. Getting close enough to his receiver so it's been up and down but I I think to me you know I could be wrong. The positives outweigh the negatives and plus factor in -- on special teams is the best kick return in the league. You going to hit the -- grade for all that would be okay. -- I think you know when you when you factor and a special teams capability like CB -- sure he is leading you know the AFC. And in return we'll return right -- want him. Okay let's go to the office to sign now and was clearly obvious what Matt Cassel what your great. -- Be mine. Okay he's borderline me I mean there are positive obviously he's gotten better over time I think he he has he has good leg at a pretty good motor has -- I think he I think he's pretty smart back there and doesn't make a lot of dumb throws and dump -- but. I've been very good chance to play in the red zone when Megan at 18 balls are. And that has improved and early on -- on the yeah he was pretty in the eyes of about when that knocked the ball and run away in the complain about. And that -- he's hardly get that that why he means it'll in the B category. But he has the work on and in the red zone offensive production. Whatever the case maybe not all him but are ultimately falls on his shoulders and yeah it's a team."

Play from 53:10[53:10]" I'm going to cheat just a little bit here because it's really hard for me to single out one player. So I'm going to go with the unit and I'm going to ask you about the offensive line. -- Nottingham I don't how I would have gone and good really. I plan and the only reason is is because guy like Stephen -- been hurt but I mean yeah I think we've seen how much better -- this is. When -- is healthy and he started you know against the Colts to thing and and and they rushed for a 140 yards and again I know what's against the Colts -- not want the worst run defenses but still. I like of the trending in the trending is definitely an uptick -- back in the lineup. And the first time all your might add that they had bowled by helping Neal and -- cash or starting as they did a year ago."

Play from 53:51[53:51]" And that's why can't kill them on the grade because okay and healthy and I think Billy eight at times they'll deny they Marco -- and his job -- has very tackle. The protection clearly hasn't been as good as it was last year we have three guys in the Pro Bowl but I think part of that -- giants' -- I think ET one sack that Brady would have avoided. So that maybe changes your evaluation of the line Brady makes about in the pocket and avoid the playing get rid of the ball and while -- protection. Well well you have to edging there while -- had two -- must not be too bad. But yet when it Cassel -- Kimi taken additional two -- three Zach because he didn't step up enough and -- while by our line up today so I think it's a little bit of both. I adding that -- get healthy and make you said having that whole unit out there on Sunday and rushing for a 140 yards. Probably no coincidence."

Play from 54:39[54:39]" All all very very good points volume. I was going to ask you about the the offensive backfield the running back frankly none of -- and on the field -- I think he has given a big -- eyes as an incomplete -- that absolutely still in that regard let me ask you about Randy Moss."

Play from 54:56[54:56]" He -- I think. There have been times herald thinks he's running through completing block. And I am I think he's. The level he wasn't Oakland where he was the enchanted in enough interest at an all I think that he still is running out there and heart by I think there are some time where. You know he's is not. He's not completing plays. And there have been a couple of times we hasn't let up for the ball fought for the ball and Corey and we all too often credit the corner that from making a great player but but he's a great player to. And every down that you expect him to come down the ball in article up against the Champ Bailey. But they signed a two bing bang plays you know two big pass to Moss covered by Champ Bailey. It should be -- epitome and on how many catches and and in how many -- there are because Champ Bailey is great and so is Randy Moss. As of my point is Kansas chalk up everyone into great defense. Every now and then it's on mall make the play to -- think he has made enough than those in those spot this year that a couple of drops. Everybody job now and then I just think it. You saw -- coming because he caught 23 touchdowns last year. And you knew he couldn't duplicate that it was going to be a down year by his and it's but he he's -- could've been great. And are proud of all the factors and a passel being in there Brady being out all things considered I don't think he's been great."

Play from 56:17[56:17]" I've got one more Fauria and I guess is based on the fact that you know the season got off to. You know. Shall we say an unexpected beginning I mean nobody expected to have happen what happened. In the first quarter of the very first game with Tom Brady so in that light. With -- everything that is transpired thus far this season how would you grade the coaching staff. The whole path. I I -- yet to put the mall together now if you if you need to differentiate. And think that one coach has done an exceptional job or an exceptionally poor job you can add that as an addendum to -- now."

Play from 56:51[56:51]" That come to greeting cards that -- they'd be mine. And I think is there in the b.s because. They're five and -- without Tom Brady who is below me the most in the NO player in the league and -- kind of thought -- and having said that there have been questionable calls. And not to all of the COLT game but I think there have been times they have not adjusted properly. I was very disappointed with the Miami game and how many times that Dolphins ran that play and beat him on. And he never made the adjustment. Or for example in San Diego and they made such a commitment to stop the run. And they given up forty yard bombs and they're not make in the appropriate adjustment there either so I think they've been a little bit quick on the draw at times. And like we talked about they've they've scaled things back for Cassel connecting they haven't let go over it soon enough. The point where he should be given a little bit more leeway back there. -- they've middle of a conservative at times calling plays. But you know what again they're dealing with a ton of injuries and there are three retired first place in the second half of the season. He can't be album he can't give them today is that you may I -- fence sitter and they have that there there -- and beam line as their closer to a in my opinion in and day out but it."

Play from 58:05[58:05]" Okay yeah I actually what I would share your. A which are similar sentiment for the coaching staff was concerned. For what you -- going to be -- habit and ask -- thoughts on the game this Sunday symbol because of the the magnitude of the game as we've talked about here in the opening our program. You know type first of the -- lost a couple of divisional game to drop through the last four. This the first of three straight divisional games the Patriots have and yes I do believe this is the this is the full chrome. All the Patriots 2008 season this season is going to go one aware of the other because of these three weeks so how do you think they get started."

Play from 58:38[58:38]" I think they'll win this game on -- I think Buffalo heading in the wrong direction that the Patriots are heading in the right direction despite this. Quote unquote good law on Sunday which we both the agree with but. They have played better of late Buffalo -- to come back to the pack a little bit now it cuts and injuries. That shined in his auto worn off Trent Edwards a bit at quarterback now and this young team built talked about it today it's a good team but it's a good young. And will of the -- of the magnitude of the playoff race on the road. That I want to eat there are still enough veterans on this New England team who have been down this road before where I trust them more than it off both the point. Plus the team is here which is a big factor. I think analyze the two -- victory. Good stuff -- is always appreciate time on Wednesday. Excellent contributions today and no problems on I appreciate too I'm let you say your best stuff for us at all they do. I got the potty humor in the in the in the jokes out of the way on the other show that come here we talk real pull -- off at six -- the if you sit next Andy -- that's the point yet United and -- an area I'm not I'm -- thread here seeing seeing. Yeah that's what it was president sitting in the chair too long but yeah I agree he's at that moment Fred and I just -- to -- to -- swear that I thought oh that's true you could have speed of one final opportunity if you need to. Well no my my our pal -- emails me back now okay."

But now I think -- as does the fitness aficionado of mine so. I appreciated the obvious when we do we do well there is a good role. Thanks Mike all right thank you John I will see you soon got a Mike -- you Patriots football weekly. Pause here -- the time I'm coming up body just few minutes we'll have a conference calls with the members of the Buffalo Bills head coach Dick Jerod among them. On Sunday that the Patriots at least if they fell a little short. This past -- against the Colts the Patriots certainly have things really stacked in their favor of bid for this week now. It doesn't mean that -- in the law of averages will catch up with a team as we did make him in the Patriots are trying to extend a streak of nine straight wins. Over Buffalo and that's extraordinary in this day and age of parity is I was talking about the opening -- That's an extraordinary thing to have happen and you know eventually the law of averages -- is going to catch up. And you know not only the bills get won they might even get to a three against the Patriots used hope that. You know you can kind of put it off for as long as you can and of course when a guy like Tom Brady goes down and the bills get off to a five and oh start is 4 start as they did. You think well maybe it is here and then again somehow some way things have a way of just even in themselves out. And you find yourself now with a bit of it of an advantage albeit slight but maybe bit of advantage of -- playing at home. This week and the fact is that the one thing that has been most -- most consistent. About the Patriots and their performances of college years is they've never really. They've never really let down after loss that -- been able to pick themselves back up his witness mentioned. Fact that they're fifteen and one in games following a loss since 2003. So has only been one back -- back -- involved in there and so. You'd have to think that this bodes well for this week of these guys our veteran guys and that they know how to sufficiently prepare and get ready for an opponent. -- of the opponent notwithstanding. Come. The Buffalo Bills. Our team though that has spent the last few years. Mired in mediocrity at best and I think we'll realize that and so because of that when you combine that with the fact that. In the Patriots playing at home have been you know devastating. 22 most teams around league. This does add up in their favour than you and that's from the injury problems the bills have been coming in. You can see where the Patriots you know would have at least an advantage on paper going and but a divisional game. -- rivalry game for lack of a better phrase and you know you may say what you want to but the fact the Buffalo Bills and whether or not they are the true Patriots rivalry. I would call any of the divisional opponents a -- I would throw Indianapolis in their as they rivals have to because of the games that they played a bullet fears that are really meant something in the overall scheme of things. I even throw Pittsburgh in their as a rival is because it's going to attend the play the the Steelers there's something on the line kind of like the Colts. But divisional games. To need those are the true rivalry games in the NFL. Cowboys Redskins. Giants Eagles ranked. You know in in in this particular -- Patriots Jets Patriots bills Patriots Dolphins there's history -- each of those three teams. And when I just I think the players. Looking at a divisional opponent. I think I don't want to say that they've they had a lack of fire or lack of emotion but I think what they have is familiarity. With the opponent and so because there's familiarity. They leave no stone unturned in their preparation. And so I think you're seeing guys play a little bit more close to the best. Because they know they've -- especially when it's the first time around player divisional opponent they know they have to -- them again. I think you see. A little bit more tanks maybe a little bit more anxiety. Because these games mean double. I mean after all what the first tiebreaker you go to if you're tied in the standings at the end of the season you go to divisional. Record. Record within your division. That's the first tiebreaker you go to. Well head and it released the first tiebreaker but in everybody's tied what are you go to well when you go to divisional record. And them. That's what you have to win the games. As many of them as possible within the division because it gives you a leg up on the other guys and yet played team. Twice in the year and -- there's more pressure on you to win because it's one of the first tiebreaker involved Wheldon you can. He get a sense -- of the importance in guys go about their business in a very serious way. Buffalo. Cannot. But both cannot. Be taken the Patriots lightly in any stretch personable and out of position to second ball they've lost nine straight times. That's got to stick in their -- just a little bit. It learned to place that you know nobody has a whole lot of success. In Gillette Stadium and they're really a little bit because that had some injuries. And so I'm sure the Buffalo Bills were anxious to show not the Patriots but the rest of the NFL. Certainly the AFC but the rest of the NFL that they are not a fluke forget not to foremost -- This is a game as I suggested earlier to Mike this is a game where if you were on the road. In the you're a true playoff slash -- championship contender you must find a way to win. Yet find a way to win it. That's what this team has to do. Buffalo has to find a way to win. And if they can find a way to win. Then. The guess he is is that it well then you know they they priced themselves right back into the limelight. Not only within the confines of the division but certainly wouldn't within the AFC in the NFL the media and everybody that covers professional football prolific. Buffalo Bills must be for real this is a legitimizing. Game for Buffalo. Is again that the Patriots. Should win need to win but is -- legitimizing. Win. For the Patriots and I would argued -- no it's not not yet. To me what lies ahead the Patriots the legitimizing win. Will come in game three of this three game stretch when they go to Miami because for whatever reason Miami now his stamp themselves. A contender. They're four and four and there are only a game out of first. And this team that won all of one game a year ago lacked the Patriots by twenty. Plus. And that made him a contender more than anything else. I'm not sure anybody really believe because that was their first win of the year after two open losses but you know I hate. They're four and two since those first two opening losses. And they of resounding road win it. They have a feather in the cap the the other teams in the division do not I have. Not like that. So this is Buffalo's opportunities. And the Buffalo probably will have a little bit more that sense of urgency on their side and they probably should have. Whereas the Patriots will look at this little bit more I think in business businesslike fashion. On the and the Patriots obviously you know having won nine in a row I don't know what kind of an effect it will have on them and hasn't had much of an effect. This point in time but I I hope that at least they are able to keep in the back of their head and not let it affect them one way or the other they treat every game as a single entity just who have isn't that -- nine in a row together. Patriots -- 49 and ten at home at Gillette. Since 20021. Stadium open. That's the best home record in the entire league. In that span of time 49 and ten. That's what five out of every six games so there in other they're basically going. 716 into. Every year. Which frankly I think he showed that they should do that. Phone. Especially if your team any good now to meet your average team also has to be at least 500. If not slightly above 500 on the road. That means going foreign foreign in probably five and three. And you need to have a significant win somewhere and so that's what Buffalo will be striving for this week. Should be interest should be interesting. This week's game against the bills. As though we've mentioned first of three straight in the AFC east. It's their first string of back to back to back three straight against. Teams within the division in seven seasons they haven't done that since 2001. In over the seven seasons the pay to 36 in ten. Against AFC east opponents. That's the best divisional record in the NFL so they have the best home record and the best divisional record. In the entire NFL over the last 67 plus years. Pittsburgh second by the way in divisional records since 2001. Five straight division championships as we talked about. Most in the history. Of the AFL and the AFC east division. Since 1960. And of course the Patriots won six of the last seven AFC east titles on trying to further their dominance over the bills and I guess. Part of what I was trying to go through here is to show that. I'm not so sure it's going to be he anywhere near as easy an entry you probably realize that. As it is as it is apparently seemed event or the last few years. Throughout history. Between these two teams from the Patriots and bills. It has been a series that has featured some streaks in the Patriot but we lead the overall series Buffalo. 55 wins to forty this is the 97. Time. That the pats in the build on the Patriots have 55 wins over Buffalo at their most over any opponent. In the entire league. The Jets for second most I think the Patriots have 49 wins over the Jets. They won fourteen of the last fifteen in this series over the bills dating back to 2000 so. It's clear that you know in this decade to decade of the Patriots resurgence and winning three Super Bowl -- everything else. You know they have built. Some other championships. On the backs of the Buffalo Bills. That's what kind of adds a little bit to me anyway dazzled and intrigue in this game. To Buffalo's mania but I enlisted the Patriots can respond. You know he is is always a measure of a team with someone you know -- around a little bit. And you're able to respond and come back and -- them back and kind and we haven't really seen that from Buffalo do we see that this Sunday. Patriots beat the bills here last year 38. To seven. Complete and total walk over. And -- mitigating complete total walk over. And then of course winning by 46 points on the road so I mean it's it's just been you know. It was one sided last year of course that we realized both teams are different although the bills. We're still trending upward to the point where they started out this year -- on -- kind of brought that up yesterday. Whereas the Patriots certainly don't have anywhere near the team right now that they had a year ago although you can see flashes. I think the offensive line is getting nearer to where they were a year ago. We don't have the quarterback -- on the offensive backfield I think we still have the receivers. The wood on the quarterback -- to the receivers apparently or at least the coaches have is not allowing the quarterback to get to the receivers as they shouldn't I think that's a fundamental problem right now. -- got to see got to -- more downfield strikes. Especially in teams that are banged up in the secondary and here's another team to Buffalo it's going to be banged up in the secondary again and you know. What's gonna happen -- the Patriots take advantage of it to me that's what the big question mark to this entire. Game this Sunday and frankly it's one of the reasons is keeping me from his jump right on the Patriot bandwagon this week and -- Patriots issue when this game he's. I don't know I don't know I've got some doubt in the back of my head right now because I just don't know what kind of a philosophy. That this offense is going to undertake. And get a trip in the same thing they did this last what you get the Colts having they had -- scoring drives you know of what each over fourteen plays -- it was his Leslie that's great. But it really doesn't mean much when you only get three instead of seven. Patriots are so soft in the red zone on both ends -- it. They had a chance to improve themselves and albums of the office or the -- the call a time out. And the kick a field goal. I'd just you know I -- I just actually ranked on about that yesterday and I'm just I'm going to have a hard time getting over that. Because it was just so on. In -- at this. It was so on Belichick -- it just was it was not like him and it was not like this team. And so that is planted a seed of doubt in my head. Not only about their ability. Putt to make the right call but about their ability to believe that their team can convert. And score a touchdown the red zone. The coaches to have cut they altered his feet out from underneath them on the call. And so until they have a chance to prove that they can do it. There's going to be a bit of doubt in their kids. And that's just that's one of the lingering effects I fear. You know from this past Sunday that you don't that's something that you just don't need to be dealing with when you're going into a crucial stretch like you're getting ready to go into right now. Our system kind of -- dealing with the offense just a little bit. You may not of Internet opportunity. Check this out yet but I thought we taken a minute you're just to go play some this. On Josh mcdaniels -- as we all know is Patriots offense coordinator and he had a chance to meet with members of the media. But it always does me good in the and -- did find out what page he is on as opposed to the pages that you and I and the rest of us who covered his team are on -- weather and and why we're apart -- if we are part how far apart are we in terms of our thinking. Didn't leave the pocket unnecessarily. And you know invented and -- and they did make some plays well rated scramble out of pocket when it was necessary to do so and I think it that's improving every week himself that showed up. You know on on Sunday night. When he. When Matt. Comes bettered that as the how much does that help but look the other parts of the game. I just think it allows them. You know what you're stating in their comfortably in the pocket knife again it just over the last two or three weeks here it's really started to. Patient dividends for him. In the number of second and third reads. A couple weeks ago and then that carried over into this game so I just think it opens up for the offense. And it allows him to move back at the first or second read if they happen to be covered and get the ball -- just someone's -- open that obviously you know -- start with -- particular place but because you keep the play alive and have good -- in the pocket. Wasn't the first tree there -- a little bit of pressure from our right side. And he did a nice job of of hanging in there he just kind of stepped. Not subtly to his last didn't leave the pocket didn't pull the ball down LeBron kept the play alive allowed -- Israel that the right to have. Joba made -- move at the top of the route got open and you know we threw it nice on the comeback and we converted a third down so. That was just one example and I thought it was an important play in the plated. Again that he's improved and and now is capable of making. I'm curious to. All over the middle but Welker -- Mexico's third and eleven in the fourth quarter that that -- there but hit him and struck with that his first Serena map quest. In the red area there's one yet it's nowhere and that this fourth of one yet. In this Portland. And it brought up you know there's it depends on the coverage on plays like that sometimes when they drop off and played very soft. As they did -- that that particular play. Then you know we we we try to get it to somebody that has its opportunity to catch and run it and try to get the first -- leg instead of always turned to a behind themselves. They were playing a little softer on that one and -- you know he came to west quick. And that peppery. It always an issue. You know on some of those underneath -- Because of worries standing and you know there's been plays in the past we've had them there's some plays in the past where. You know the receiver crosses behind him and and loses the ball and just so happened that the efficient got down just in time and way and I can't take a lot of concentration. Play from 1:27:02[1:27:02]" box. I think it's you know in terms of your preparation. You know and I'm just I would speak offensively from our point of view and whatever defense does something that's a little different. You know -- you have to make a decision and a choice of how much time to stand on bat. It may not be something that they've done very much but you still have to make a decision and a choice of how much practice time and how much preparation time. You need to spend on that element of their games during the course of the weekend. You know obviously Miami's running a lot of or at least -- significant portion of it. And you know some of these other teams that are filter pitcher now these senators. You know going to have to decide -- and how much time we we put towards this and you know are we going to check if they did and it every going to run our all of our calls are we going to you know get out of calls and get in the something different. You know how we going to defend that if they have a very. You know to use it against us so. I think it's something that people are doing it and if they don't have anything except I'm sure you're not missing much of that again which is by what you've seen it more more from Miami because they seem to be successful which -- so. You know you run out and you make the other team worry about it in the course of the week and that's part of coaching in preparation and it's a pain in the butt sometimes what people do things are very few number of times but he still have to prepare and spent practice reps on moment. And and that's time that you're not spending on something if they've made me feel a lot -- so. You know there's sixties that's an appointment I think -- you know you if you can if you can get it to work for its great and not been you know at least the other team's got to defend. Play from 1:29:23[1:29:23]" like you know we really onto those trips. We headed here or yard run and it negative path and that really anytime you get into -- third down and long scenario in the red zone. You're already short. Feel -- quit because you don't have a lot of field behind them. And when you get into a situation -- it -- you talked about certain eleven down there that eighteen and you know. I'm nineteen yard line it's tough to run a lot of patterns past the sixth and -- to the back of the end zone which. You know we all know those those players are lower percentage anyway so. I think you know and in our minds if we stay ahead on the down and distance if we get positive plays negated a third and short. Founder and original you know that you got a greater chance to succeed on third down and on two of those trips unfortunately we balance the third and -- and and those are I mean the only the only convert third and ten plus you know an entire season. You know maybe 810 times a year and -- and to try to convert in the red zone it makes it even more difficult so. We've just got to do a really good job of trying to do what we did the rest of the game which is avoid negative plays. You know no penalties no negative run the trials they have on down and distance and I think we'll. You know we'll see some better numbers down there in the -- which which obviously we're going to strive towards."

Play from 1:30:48[1:30:48]" After what was. And fourth quarter where you were. But not for fourth and one and then they'll call timeout once you go. What was the dialogue like on the sideline there like this which."

Play from 1:31:02[1:31:02]" You know we we wish that the player and originally. And you know down there at the end of the field you always have it's always a little bit more difficult to tell exactly how much you need. If they don't measure and you don't really get an indication from the official. How much you know how how much you action for the first down you know it's kind of a harder angle for the press box and obviously in the balance our finalist we run all the way down there. You know it's difficult to tell they're cute so we -- to play and originally I think you know we were -- and it was it was much less than a yard and ready to go with our into the best -- we felt like we haven't. You know after we broke the huddle on the ball spotted me you know you know we got a better look at it. The bill ran down there and decided to caught not just takes more time to you know make it make resources -- the best the best decision we could make at the time obviously it was a crucial place so. You know after after it was decided that it was at least a yard you know or or very close to it. It is felt better about kicking a field goal and and and tried to. The play defense and and they get the ball back and then try to have you know successful offense we -- pack. What we've done most of the game and and we were doing the next time we got it you know until we until we -- into the penalty situation. He got into third -- so. Elevated and -- excited you know -- total equality. You know what we have got -- I don't know. You know what we we we made a choice to tie the game up and definitely had a had a good enough chance to win and after that so. You know with the decision maker of tennis game. And you ask for betterment. You can you can request the measurement. You can request the measurement and usually they granted I don't I don't lesser. Of the exact ruling -- how close he'd be what have you but. As long as it's within reason -- believe that they'll they'll give you measurement. And that's situations. You know and at that -- I think bill a bill went down there saw for himself and and watch the ball spotted in the -- I was cleared. You know we are kind of personnel cut out there on the field and we also got a little bit better look at it from the press box self. Yeah you can requested. But I am not exactly sure you know as far as that was concerned of course it needs to be you know definite agreement."

Play from 1:33:21[1:33:21]" On those kind of plays you've often where I'm going to look like you're running it my anabolic snapped the BQB sneak and Tom obviously was fantastic at those. What what what is it about a quarterback what kind of skills you have to have to squeeze out those you know yards and a half or whatever it takes. On the sport in shorts."

Play from 1:33:38[1:33:38]" Yeah you have to have I think. I think really and truly. That's in time that I is an excellent -- but it is an excellent relievers are successful and match at some sickness -- well. I think you have to have a really good feel for where to go because you don't have long to make a decision. You know you and we kind of know where we want to go and watch the ball snapped he's got to kind of -- yourself and there. You can't you know you can't go down to the ground you know you got actually kind of -- you know that. That's soft spot wherever -- be if it's for the write this letter to the left of the center. And and really try to push him there and keep your legs moving and drive and then we got tall guys a quarterback that have long legs and they got to continue to do that Tom. Was very good -- getting better every you know -- using its you know he's doing a good job of finding that soft spot and actually. You know making it harder yard pass that that he needs to get -- to get the first down south. I think it's more of a feel thing once once you once you know which direction -- and then going to try to stay upright and really you know get their behind the center and the -- and try to push the other."

Play from 1:34:46[1:34:46]" Just get them. The rap about found. Don't belong happy -- it -- the after the game will be again. That would happen quite good I'm just moved up opening up and I would get open you can go back to let the court we're doing here where -- And then that would you know. Why that might be popular little -- that the do that and and maybe get them you have that you have the power. At you -- a bad looking going down the field more in that game."

Play from 1:35:16[1:35:16]" I think the Colts the Colts and it you know just talk about them specifically. You know the first thing he got because. Understand or take into consideration when you're trying to get the ball down the field against any team. Isn't it how much time you need to throw it and musicals -- they have a significant pass rush very good pass rushers. And and so you have to make a determination whether that's a big part of your game plan or not. And and the way that they play there his own team they've got a lot of -- backs and linebackers looking at the quarterback of those snaps they're very rarely in game coverage. And so when he got a lot of people back be trying to make you throw it in front of them. And they're looking at the quarterback and trying to read where the ball's going to be thrown than their alternative. You know get to the ball the same time. That's sometimes a little bit more difficult. There were rolling the coverage during the most of the night and putting a quarter up there and putting -- hide behind him. You know and and in in in past years against the Colts. You know we. Again and you kind of you gotta really pitcher's spot and you know we get one last year all of serenity in the game and 7. But had a few others that we're trying to force down the field throughout picked off you know and -- six it was very similar. We try to throw the ball down the field -- few times and and didn't have reared its success through that side yourself. You know it's a combination of the pass rush how much time you can hold it to throw the ball down there what they're playing and try to take a certain player way. And you know and how much success you think you're really going to have. Throw it when there's people that are always significantly in the deep part of the field so. You know we we had a shot you know later in the game we -- in the slot and and safety capital play inside and had a chance to take efforts to sideline and it is just didn't work out that. You know in every game is different you know you -- he got a -- How much time they have to protect. You know what what openings they did you based on the coverages that they play and -- how smart it is true it would take soldiers and those chances in the that the game may --"

Play from 1:37:31[1:37:31]" Writers Josh mcdaniels the offensive coordinator for the Patriots meeting with members of the of the media yesterday via a conference call and again just a little bit of insight and I think Josh. And I will be no go right along in line with most everybody else that drinks the co leader of the alleged -- elated fox world it. I think he is a radio a brilliant offensive mind so much learning potential they're still to come. -- mcdaniels there's no question that at some point in time he could be a head coach in in certainly currently head coaching material in the NFL but. You know when he had a chance to move ought to be decided he needed more seasoning a year ago. Could not agree more. And I think we're learning now. That there's still some seasoning to go. Based on some of the the play calling. That we've seen thus far and they're. The being so careful with Matt Cassel and not to over extend him and put him in a position where he ultimately. Can't succeed and I would almost ten out of pushed the envelope a little bit more with -- And at least give him an opportunity to sort of break out of his -- someone now the we've seen he can handle game planning and he can handle game management. We've seen and I want to see a little bit more now because as we all know he can't stand pat -- when you stand pat you get killed. What's -- pushed the envelope but I really the only. There's really only look at home that I would have but he cannot argue with that with the previous success and an an overall with a big picture. Where he's concerned with the Patriots offense is concerned. And so just want to provide a little insight like that he's very well spoken and you know whether or not -- green. With -- what he has to say. Fact is he has the courage of his convictions. He believes. What he's doing the plays he's called and who he's calling them for. He believes those calls to be the correct ones. -- that comes from -- from coach Belichick. He would given the free -- to do that -- Belichick did not have the you know utmost in confidence. So I think this is a learning experience right now for everybody as -- that a little bit of them. -- you know a silver spoon put in his mouth so to speak here with a guy like Tom pretty quarterback. Now he's haven't had to earn a little bit more with a guy like Matt Cassel at quarterback is certainly capable and we've seen that. -- has been more than just managed games he's put the team in position to win games left pushed the envelope I think it's all we're asking for here. Was too little clicking get out of the guy and I think he's going to. Regression only he's going to take a big step back heavy you know doesn't connect on a couple long distance place heck I'd just I'd is I'd settle for. Looking for the tide and which doesn't seem to be -- current part of the offense. Does it."

Play from 1:40:28[1:40:28]" No."

Play from 1:40:30[1:40:30]" I'd settle for look at that had him by the way. It what you want to about David Thomas and in the called the penalty last week it knocked them out of a potential -- little spot and it was just you know you know it. Tough call no question. He right now is a much better pass catcher in Benjamin Watson. I'm sorry I just I've I've seen it now for the better part of two years and -- to go back a little ways what college buddhism in playing at Texas but right now in terms of the ability to catch a football. I don't know what Watson's 21 but he didn't have it up there right now. Seen him stumble in embalmed lemon in it he may have all this physical ability which I think we've seen in flashes but he's never really been able to put it together. Not to the extent that I think we all kind of expected. And we've seen you know. Thomas layup for balls and frankly there's a thought process that Thomas is at least as good if not all of a better blocker than Watson. So when David -- is out there don't -- get the ball more I can catch the ball what's going to. That's the one suggestion I would Africa -- junction. Com we're going to get to the year on the bills conference calls. On tomorrow's program. Doesn't look like we're going to be able to get them turn around two in time is they're just now kind of wrapping up. Solo Dick Jauron company and believe Trent Edwards is the Eagles player will will have that for you in tomorrow's program -- just a little programming note here. As we hear in during the last 1012 minutes of today's playable but what we will do here just couple minutes. Is we do have some Patriots interviews from the locker room today at the end of practice that just wrapped up a short while ago. Kevin Faulk Dan -- opened Deltha O'Neal Mike Vrabel and newcomer mister Webster are all going to be. Heard from here in short order. More on the Patriots and bills for this week we mention of course that the Patriots have won nine straight against Buffalo. But November the ninth. I mean we're basically no one week in the second half of the season. This is the latest at these two teams have met for their first time this year since 1998 latest in a decade. Seems like we've always can open up the season played buried her early in the season against Buffalo in a lot of times there in Buffalo right. Not this year. Patriots has held Patriots have held should say. The bills to a touchdown or less in five of the last eight games. These two teams have played against each. That's extraordinary. And it shows you not so much -- of the Patriots defense can be. Would it showed uses how really pathetic the bills offense has been. And how they've struggled for so long. And how they were searching for some kind of consistency and it finally got -- a guy like Edwards. And been reading some stories this week. Both not only at a Boston -- out of Buffalo how Trent Edwards was a guy on the Patriots radar in the draft a couple of years ago. But the bills and -- taken in and around for the Patriots were prepared. To select him on the Patriots but selected him in the fourth round had he not been taken but the bills took him. In the third and so that's why. He's obviously Buffalo and but it's pretty easy to see what the Patriots also would have had their sights set on a guy like that he has done a remarkable job -- Pretty solid job in in taking over the quarterback spot for Buffalo. Patriots and bills have played nineteen games decided by three points or fewer. Since 1972. That's kind of my stat of the day. And I say that. Only because. Even the Patriots dropped twice over the bills a year ago that was last year. This is this year. And both teams again even the bills have struggled of late losing through the last four they are definitely an upswing in an uptick over this time a year ago. Whereas the Patriots are definitely a step behind where they were a year ago for obvious reasons. And so this means that you know for games that mean a lot as we've talked about and will continue to talk about. While which does does you know being an AFC east matchup and each team. Needs to get a leg up on the other and the bills can't afford it all and three within the division all that kind of stuff and of course -- can't afford to lose a home divisional game is that Marty lost one to Miami. Fact is is that you know -- a close game should be expected on Sunday. Nineteen games since 1972. With the bills decided by three points or fewer. To keep that in mind for Sunday. In fact these two teams have played in five overtime games since 1990 Corey. I'm not sure will be an overtime game but I can I can certainly see this game being in doubt. Going into the fourth quarter. And I think that's were all be -- the Patriots certainly have home field advantage coming up on Sunday. And you hope that the you know he can rely on you know fans or what have you the home crowd ought to be able to kind of -- take you win at that point. And give you some opportunities to. To win the football. So you know I mean the last time these two teams played in Buffalo it was 56 to ten for the pats we've mentioned they wanted -- Gillette 38 to seven last year couple. Big time routes. The guys on this bubble team. Who remain from last year which would be certainly the majority of them undoubtedly. Undoubtedly. Have had this date circled on their calendar. And as they got out to a hot start this year I'm sure it was something they were sort of looking forward to and now they realize that it's here and even Alou stumbled lately. There's no doubt in my mind they will be as ready as they possibly -- Will the Patriots should be able to be as ready as the bills are. -- I think that's certainly one of the big questions going into the game on Sunday. Every -- no question in my mind. No question -- much. We'll spend some time obviously tomorrow. Looking back over the Buffalo Bills -- and take a look at some of the nitty gritty some of the -- in the those with the matchups. -- helluva you know Patriots football weekly will be in studio -- happy to be able to rejoin in Cooperstown and in a couple of Thursdays anyway since have been away in college football travel will be in studio to mark that. I'll Russell Baxter. ESP n.'s NFL research coordinator will be joining us as he always does on Thursday's I don't look. At the the Patriots bills game the upcoming week week ten. We can't the national football -- already we -- So will would jump around all that good stuff on Thursday's program for. Do very well okay with the young. Okay excellent let's pitch off and then said the Patriots locker room again with the Faulk could open O'Neal Vrabel and Webster the newest of the New England Patriots re signed today. After row on the Patriots -- Shawn Crable on the injured reserve list that was the news of the day made by the football team. And then we'll come back at St. -- times St. -- channel on Thursday."

Taking most of the time and we want human -- I worry about anything before that. What about it so. Well. Other -- who who knew this team in the restaurant. That's how would have been a couple of years from other issue that they're playing real well it's either that Kawika Mitchell batsman. Who will back and you know it's it is tainted beef with them from the -- It. It. -- not good doesn't where you have to approach each game if -- started about a work. If you back up or where you are and I've -- to post that we just never can tell us -- happy. Immediately know you Benjarvis also worked together for twelve hours outdoor pets. And he's doing his army -- do teamwork."

Play from 1:49:56[1:49:56]" And -- big game. They're all big and so and Buffalo is an opponent and great defense -- team uniform already now so I announcement about it differently about the stress relievers. -- stretch. I mean it's important you know they're all important division games are important and -- when you're playing this season so. You're going to be around come up here that and hopefully in his hunkered down and by some footprints upon its reliance. -- We got some his new faces and obviously but you know that a lot of other guys that are there and you know they're good players and we know that in. To get a good scheme they're well coached so. Just to be picked us versus -- the -- and then they put an error on you know what others editors don't they're all good and we don't worry about all of them you know Dodgers routed Owens at a football. Sort of a football player you know after he ends with -- and I'll say I don't know I don't know emotional but you know they're all good."

Play from 1:51:04[1:51:04]" This -- done that in front of I beg -- doing all of that meant."

Play from 1:51:11[1:51:11]" he's got more comfortable now we're trying to you know -- him time back there needs but. I mean he's been playing better and better every week and it's our job to keep from clearing. Challenges every year every week. Doesn't matter appoint opponents just. And we do our job up front for in the do this and you know we can continue to grow. -- It's. Like it's evident. We watch here. -- you feel it won't -- I'm in and you know it's not hard to see you know with what he's doing out on the field. You know he's put us in position -- games and you know that's his job and you know we're going to be behind him."

Play from 1:51:50[1:51:50]" This week ago so really an assistant coaching. If we do coaches no matter who's been there. The Patriots."

Play from 1:51:58[1:51:58]" Single all the guys that are it and here for a reason you know against people -- Because they have some kind of talent and can play football so you know the coach and can only -- Rory came. We can't set us back as you know we've just got to prepare better for games you know cause of tough stretch last humility games that we so. He knows it's there's got to prepare better."

Play from 1:52:22[1:52:22]" I don't know which inspector after the St. Louis game and you -- promote the game came back to that section. What was that experience like we've been on silent in the coming in Titans game saving play."

Play from 1:52:33[1:52:33]" I was more so you know -- big event in. Two with the circumstances that have been. I didn't one name was called foreign you know anything -- wanting you know be successful -- and you know this. You know laid it out there have been lots -- breathless at the right. -- Well no not at all you know."

Play from 1:53:00[1:53:00]" You know it's just unfortunate we didn't win. You know it was a good game down -- today and you know -- like. Milosevic has been like two -- is -- you know we've got to find a way to win for the most part we've been doing a great job of it. Streak -- obviously a priority this next one but play three straight games in the division it's -- it within one game. Can you consider this -- for extra."

Play from 1:53:26[1:53:26]" Now that we look at is one game season Millen this week we have Buffalo that's our main focus became. Worry about it Miami beats the Jets or vice versa you know we've just got to. -- concentrate on what we got a hit and you know this week so who's also focused on you know you will prepare for the game and hopefully we Paterno were to doping. He's he's fast and making kids well you know that the quarterback and receivers their timing is on point right now on his. An explosive receivers so you know you gotta be a -- game or he you know he can -- you. Yeah. Was this. Yeah I mean -- knows that's. Some more you play the more confident she did you know if you just sit around Watson didn't. You know tobacco rolled you don't really get. That chemistry which scene it was -- thing like he's he has that. You know he's a great he's he's he's good you know you cannot be my -- anybody in the NFL. I think it definitely has some type ability that they got -- so you know he's he's good at what he does just."

Play from 1:54:39[1:54:39]" I'm and they certainly have a lot of weapons and you know I think if you let Edwards and back there. You know camera off 1214 passes and room be real efficient."

Play from 1:54:49[1:54:49]" I think it starts with them with the running backs and it took it back from anything. Play from 1:55:13[1:55:13]" A lot of moving him. Hundreds of -- the Buffalo Bills are surprised to hear that you guys knowing your team that is present if things go."

Play from 1:55:20[1:55:20]" Mom and I think they they get a -- starts at them with with the head coach I think I think coach Ron and a great job is there a good program build a foundation and yeah they've drafted well the guy that got good veteran guys and they got a good line against two good tackles you know absolutely certain. You know I'm really I'm going to evaluate defense again but I know that there and they make a lot of plays and animal. -- Mine I don't know armaments. Sounds -- the questions and head coach mean I just try to worry about myself and you know try to improve each week you get you know get -- guys that that. I play with the linebackers in the deal and you know on the same page my. It's. I mean I think that anytime a team. You know goes downplays Weller who wins by a few touchdowns it's usually because they. You know either had a lot of turnovers are scored on defense -- and special teams or you know quarterback you know played really well for them you know they play special teams great. You -- got -- should return for a touchdown and Edwards is has been efficient I think they've they've done that covered all three of those things."

Play from 1:56:39[1:56:39]" Bills. It's elevated their office and coming into the game."

Play from 1:56:48[1:56:48]" I'm mad -- just have to play. In a place where promptly tough upfront you know -- in the hands. Don't try to run around blocks and create you know big scenes in big gaps. Com. You know so they've got guys that you know -- match aren't and try to block and good runners -- a cut often you know -- good cutback runners. It. While I mean I think that they're going to run the the ball like a set on their terms and and we've seen different we've -- different -- backgrounds and you know I'm sure not going to be the same. As we've seen in the past and know they'll they'll run their carry -- but then you know some new Watson in the they're working on right now. Well I think what's important is this week against Buffalo I think it. You know really an -- after that really doesn't matter much and I would imagine that in the -- yeah I think in the same thing. We -- claim that is here. We've played a lot of like opponent it's that we know more film a lot I'm sure they announced on film and a in arts arts -- a matchup on Sunday."

Play from 1:58:05[1:58:05]" I think he's just picked up from -- did last year he built on some things that you will actually you know. The reading coverages and going about the Oakland -- I. Found. It just seems like it. They don't know what they're supposed to do now doing. And the thing that I noticed last year I mean this year as last year last year they're good team but it. It didn't seem like they have as much in your -- have as many injuries on the roster as they had last year."

Play from 1:58:43[1:58:43]" We learned about the no one can sense that you. -- like this is that he never went its kind."
