Over what we think. What is ought to be perhaps. Lightly average shoulder on in the win over Oakland on Sunday all but Bill Belichick yesterday and reiterating again that. He didn't think that was going to keep him from his normal duty. As big as they like to be so will get a further update tomorrow and the guys connect practice -- is being Tuesday is the first time really a couple of weeks the guys -- at a regular week. And that will probably have to win at Buffalo on the final regular season game on that a Christmas weekend. And don't even then they still need some help. And it is sort of simple quiet if not over simplify it for you. Com -- that the Jets or the Dolphins. Need to lose this weekend. If one of those two teams can -- That helped the Patriots immensely. And here's the other thing. If Baltimore can't lose this Thursday. Against the Dallas Cowboys. And the Patriots are in prior I am a prime position. Were spot a wild card team. Sure without the ball was going to lose. What they lost obviously this last week -- in that thirteen and nine game with the Pittsburgh. Very controversial. Very controversial I'm still not sure that the ball cross the plane although from every angle that I saw you probably all -- one that I did. Whether his -- in the end -- not what they were. All the ball has to do is hit the plane if it does that touchdown and it looks as if they got the call right -- and that because we're all rooting for Pittsburgh is instant. I just think that it happened to be the right call. I don't think there was enough to overturn it the other way and say no touchdown. That of course when we get into the hole. You know army is complete. Objective opinion here. And I still will rail on and on a review of castigated me for railing on about you know stuff like that but you don't want you -- The initial call the initial call was touchdown and quite frankly I think that what you gotta go and you gotta go your gut instinct. And loaded -- to play. -- that's what happened more than anything what that means now is that Baltimore plays at Dallas Huskies cannot Thursday night at Indian Jacksonville Thursday's week. But then again at Indianapolis loses their last two Patriots could get in that way as well. While it is going to happen. But in middle Colts have Jacksonville and then they wind up with -- with Tennessee. Com. I don't political going to lose the Colts probably played as well as anybody the tipsy right now. Although their defense is mediocre at best. They have certainly shown capability often they got to avoid it. With them. With Detroit this last week mild scare but nothing more than that really on the weekend Baltimore plays Dallas Saturday Saturday night on NFL network. So in that regard. You gotta root for a you know. Team dysfunction -- want to call. Com because if you do in Baltimore loses -- the Patriots if they win out we're gonna get a wildcard. Editors when the last two in the unit right now as of today they went out they still need help. Out of Baltimore loses Saturday and the Patriots went out they get -- That's all work. Miami plays -- Kansas City. Miami plays can't that he lost on day 1 o'clock. And I don't think even though -- lost crusher this last week San Diego should won the game obviously and you came -- wanted to at the end. Keep him least mathematically alive in the -- west. Two games back of Denver to play. Com I don't think Kansas -- gonna win this game at home although. Stranger things have happened right. Stranger things have happened. And it much more likely scenario is that the Jets go to Seattle and lose not think everybody recalls what kind of a stroke the patrons at Seattle two weeks ago. On the Jets are so. Thinkin' lucky. They were -- a break after losing two games almost inexplicably. That probably do a little bit karma and they certainly got it they may have gotten a whole season for the karma. In dealing one away from Buffalo and by the way in and I know that everybody's -- on this and but I got a rail on for quite frankly why in the world. Really at the very minimum ought to have their head examined if not. Have their you know -- left handed them because that is just absolute. Stupidity. J. P. Losman is. Terrible and they will realize that. That the bills realize that's why Trent Edwards took the position away from. J. P. Losman can't get it done for whatever reason J. P. Losman and has just. And animal bit the ability to screw things up. They be going well and goal while -- and that he does something stupid. I realize a lot of cases plays are probably call point but he doesn't execute. He can't pick -- Q. His work is slow. Is accuracy is is not good he's always throwing high and it was all that did we not on Sunday. He was awful lot of that isn't what three picks. I mean you know what I mean he is lucky he has a job the only reason the J. P. Losman has a job. Is because the bill screwed up by electing him first few years ago. And they just don't they they want to make sure that they at least -- some of their point Trent Edwards is a better quarterback. He's hurt Losman back. -- almost pick this team to -- quite frankly the keyword is almost he didn't do. And he didn't do it because he's able. -- I mean jet fans should be sending Losman thank you Merry Christmas happy holiday. -- to him. Because that's what the -- they got a gift. They gotta give. With Joe -- Arctic all over again right the W go back aways back to the you know of the yeah -- what was that 1970s. When Joe was allergic all the Giants. Fumbled the ball handoff late in the game with the Giants were trying to back away the Eagles. And Herman Edwards comes a blue football and paying Eagles and aboard in the game and all what X era it's one of the all time stupid place. In the history of minute of the NFL you -- on an awful lot. This one's going to go into this game is that one. Put the jet and to the playoffs if the Jets get into the post season. Others either as the wild card or hurt in the division champion. If the Jets can and that play will live on an infamy just -- you in the -- play live. After all these years -- three decades that is going to live on mark my words it's gonna live on that will play will stand out in jet football lore. And in bills football infamy. And the forced fumbles lost all the nobody's going to. Least they made it to the big leagues they won some. Bills. Had a chance really they're not going anywhere this year. But they had a chance to stick it to the Jets. They had a chance to. I have a positive in fluent in their own estimation year suppose. But -- chance to make -- different in the AFC east race here team that began in five and one. But it was lauding the bills is all the team to beat Patriots have lost Tom Brady the -- going to. We've talked here even with -- of another outcome. Former Buffalo nose guy right and the -- at the -- of the bill. Five and want one of the best five teams in the National Football League. And here. Obviously that it and injuries to. But the Patriots have an injury and they're not imply. Built a bad injuries they're six and eight. And they should be. Evidence -- does that that was a total and complete. Choke. I don't say that often about a lot of things in the NFL. I although I will also it is. But the Patriots game on Sunday I thought to Oakland laid down and died of that they lose that they just they curled up in -- field position for the most part. But half of the team. Curled up in -- fetal position and uncle. But the guys can play. Only damage than the younger guys came to play a little bit but some of the veterans on the team just curled up and a ball and died. The Patriots scoring. For -- that touched the ball in the league at the kick return after Oakland -- scored on the kick return. -- some it was just unbelievable. I'm in Oakland just kind of curled up and just you know -- away and a once proud franchise and NFL is is an absolute. Joke. I don't do a lot of nitpicking on Tuesdays -- that picked Tuesday for those of you familiar with the program here. My biggest nitpick. Over Sunday's win and -- a win is only Enright it's hard to nitpick a team is you know. Healthy or should always an unhealthy like the Patriots are this year hard to nitpick and we talk a lot about that last week but. You know if if if we're going to nitpick anyway that is by golly that's what we do here on the program. My biggest -- really it is is special teams. I think the Patriots special teams. -- have been adequate on the Ellis Hobbs has had a pretty good -- retarded football. You are living amongst the -- the other the league leaders in kickoff return yardage all season long. But decent instantly. Patriots kick coverage has been lousy for the most part. It almost cost them on Sunday not -- the the game was ever in doubt. But it was a big momentum just. Cut it to a two score game. And the Patriots catalytic get out of hand and Hobbs came through the -- OI guess that's my biggest nitpick I just I don't. That's the one area that I I don't think you necessarily need to judge a that you necessarily need superstars I think you need it what you guys want to go make plays that you need much guys that are hungry rabid. So to speak right. A salary is it was made a name for himself as a football player because he has been and that kind of a leader on special teams. And Kelly Washington's European the most special teams wish him all the guys raven -- great year special. Those kind of guys you need especially our coverage has just been. And as -- was lousy Sunday and yet it didn't cost him because the Raiders were even lousy her. Partisan may -- to believe lousy earth. They can't do anywhere in the wild -- not think everybody would like to keep the AFC east division streak. Alive. -- won five straight division titles try to make six if they can in the on top and yes of course that would also mean you get a home game. In the playoffs for the that haven't won on the road wild card weekend. Very least you get a home. And for the AFC east championship to happen. It's pretty simple -- got a win out number -- an -- win Sunday. Against Arizona and you went on the road at Buffalo rapid. You need either Miami or. The Jets who lose. This Sunday. Let's say Miami wins the Jets -- That -- the Jets back which means then the following week in the last week and you need the Jets to beat Miami. That's what would have to happen. If Miami. Loses and the Jets win then you reverse it then you need Miami. To beat the Jets. That's how it works it's that simple. I laid it all out front or that's what has happened with the Patriots get in as the AFC east champ. Both of those teams need to lose one. In the and or both of the teams need to lose one time. Each in the next two weeks. Somebody's got to lose and last week. The other team had to lose this week that's that's out that's really -- out so we'll know going in last week. If it can happen if both teams win. If Miami wins and the Jets when the sound like Patriots can't win the division title that cannot win it it's over. And that means that the Miami New York Jets game in we haven't seen. What -- by the way he is at the battle. And into the Miami Georgia game is for the championship if both teams win -- this -- And that means of course that if if Baltimore. Doesn't lose to Dallas and that means. At Baltimore then it would need to lose at home against Jacksonville. On the last Sunday for the Patriots to get in. So Baltimore wins the Jets win and Miami wins. It can be really hard -- for the Patriots to get in the those three games you must be interest in this weekend to me this weekend -- at all -- Yes I realized that you know you still have to carry on business and we haven't seen this weekend we ain't -- three games. Today will guide. The Patriots play off. Date for 2000. That's going to happen that's gonna happen. They all three win and it happened because I don't city -- first of all. Whoever wins between the Jets Miami therein is the champion. -- the division if Baltimore wins -- is the wildcard forget it it's over. -- I think Indy probably when the last. Solid as any of -- Jacksonville this week I don't I see Indy beating Tennessee does is another -- for. How do you buy them losing to Houston this last weekend how to explain that. They really don't have it and plentiful. Than middling probably. They really -- twelve and two TB well what the records as -- that the play like it or not you know. Excellent but it Wheldon fourth still going to get a -- As you ought to consider them a favor all the right now I think these favorite in the AFC Pittsburgh. They want to all -- on that game against you know tennis I mean them. Baltimore I think you have to favor -- going to the -- played as good football as anybody in the NFL right now. Just an offense what an overpowering the and we know that. We saw here a couple of weeks ago. Pittsburgh right now to me right now is the best team in the national football. Black that also shows you how close incredibly the Patriots really are in this whole process to be honest with a as close game and halftime really Patriots gave that game here to Pittsburgh don't we do we all agree on that. They you know they they they handed it to the silver platter with a five turnovers. The Patriots are for a what -- if you take if you can hold on the ball. And battle him -- really Judy you have to go to Pittsburgh in this particular instance but why should that scare anybody in that locker room down the hall why should care. They want to -- title. On the road in Pittsburgh. Ole ole white would go to Pittsburgh and bother them. It would. By the -- going to with the Pittsburgh. So there you are you're up to date on stuff not that you didn't know that you probably -- did but I hope that'd been assembled by brought on. Who might be wondering what about this one but not that the deal this weekend's -- it. Patriots have to win. But for the Patriots play the Cardinals on Sunday. Dallas beat beat Baltimore if it does in the doors wide open for the Patriots to -- at least as a wild card to be playing in the January. If Baltimore wins at Dallas kudos to the to the to the Ravens. And then they would have to lose a Jack they have to lose at home Jack -- gentleman's going to happen for the wild card to have. Because I again I don't in the lose but India is the only other team in the mix here. AFC east title pretty ample. Either Miami or the Jets has to lose Sunday it was one of those teams loses in the door is still open for the Patriots. If they both loose. The -- still open for the Patriots. Would only help matters right it would certainly help. Their ego arm. Is a question of oh yeah the button. And at a time undergone. Part question of the day today are frankly we got the Pro Bowl coming up. Obviously the Pro Bowl voting is is -- this afternoon I and we anticipate the Pro Bowl voting probably being known somewhere around 4 o'clock eastern my guess is will probably be done with the show. On both for the of the vote comes out but if we do get it before -- will obviously passed along to -- Other that Wes Welker anybody else worthy on this team in your estimation that's what I wanted to ask -- number one. What walker surely deserves it I hope that he gets and if he doesn't it's travesty it's crime. But anybody else on the -- team worthy of a Pro Bowl. Vote in your mind. Might not have had a very good team they always managed to play Dallas incredibly tough so I'm I'm familiar somewhat with that the legacy but. This team has moved to Arizona how much does that St. Louis legacy affected this franchise."

[31:03]" Well I mean I think when you start -- about like you mean our this franchise around so long arm I mean it's it's existed in some form. -- since 1898 which is you know twenty some years before the NFL -- It's got a long legacy unfortunately a lot of it hasn't been all that great. An insult. You know they've done their share. Losing and struggling since moving here they have that you could you could put St. Louis in the rearview mirror he's still out. A lot to -- your -- in terms of overcoming. What. -- think one thing I'd change was in 2006 when they finally got in this stadium. I mean you know you guys know Gillette Stadium when you get a -- place you give all of the special you know -- it mostly money. Because it's it's a better place to go you can raise more money -- stop and yeah that's really bad and -- the spearhead of how things have changed that along with star Gilbert also on Michael has particular greater role. In terms of running the team did today and and they kind of you know brought you know franchise along and done a lot of things that you should be done in today's NFL and I and I think that has all -- They're still hurdles your overcoming by but it's it's franchise. In -- how does business. All with the stadium and dated I think it's a very much on par with the -- you know wasn't there for -- long --"

[32:28]" Why in your estimation -- do you feel like it took the Cardinals as long. As it did what -- of the factors in your estimation where this team to turn the corner and become a division champ."

[32:40]" Well you know again with you don't have a stadium you know between on who you talk to but. You know the story and very little bit but when when the double moved here. In 1988. Days felt like they had a handshake deal to getting used the and not that stadium didn't come up short again until 2006 when you go out. You know when you don't have the suites. When you're playing in Arizona and the first after the -- you know hundred degrees plus on the field because you're outside of 1 o'clock starts. I mean that's that's miserable experience to go to you're -- you've got a good team and also partly didn't have a good. You're not generating as much money you show them and that's not a big deal. And I and I think again it really a lot of it goes back to that and you know -- that was just you know realizing -- again today's NFL means. Now giving contracts with incentives. And bonuses something else or an old score like -- well. No heart for him to change -- me. Either he's a nice sky and and any better illegal long arm but -- You know it's just like when you're dealing with somebody older you -- scrambling you know -- property get down so to look at as to what I think Murton start. You know dentistry obviously a lot of success in Minnesota for what you got here as a higher radar is coaching staff -- some things did internally and how he coached this team. Just didn't. He didn't help a lot of people understanding why he was doing those things and they want to -- players that goes for people in the building it was just. It was just a disaster and down. I think when it was 1980 year he projects this idea she knows exactly what he's done obviously. Came for a franchise interest for what Milwaukee was there. You know Pittsburgh as one of the most stable franchises out there and had a lot of ways. Are similar to this point in terms of an old school franchise. Ownership. Has been able to get it done over the years. You know even if they're not necessarily throwing huge bonus money after player to player and I think it was. Just fit in to what they needed out here and end on a more tangible all the players well like. If you listen to them he thought something darn. Early. You know she worked with ownership to make sure that darn when he first hard and I I think something like -- and made a big impression on the players."

Having at least initial success but sometimes there's not a lot of shelf life for a guy like that and argue your case in point Pete Carroll here in New England. Three quarters of their other defensive backfield were not starters from the game the year half a -- you have to they're they're defense after linebacker was out there Wilfork. Beaten up Warren's been up. And so does every team but. This is -- behalf they're not going to be a very good defensive team down the stretch."

[1:37:51]" I don't see where I've sort of reevaluated I mean I -- you know you're right this is they have and so I just want and it's not very good but and it's not very technically by going to have to out score people to win games however many games they have left. I basically came to that conclusion about three weeks ago. I've put a lot more pressure Warner to get the ball off quicker shorter passing game and maybe you can. They've got do their job tackling -- all series but on they might like out there with the weather I think that you know. It would take you know sixty degrees and sunny for Arizona to really beat the Cardinals offense that we've seen most of the year. And it was with the Astros lost they had.
