[0:04]" This season PFW in progress. I don't know if everybody -- present. Good to see UD FW and progress with renewed courage I mean you don't they. Yeah I got a -- gases have tax megabyte hard we hadn't acted -- and I -- of -- spending a lot of time -- the family -- is that a little -- You pricing god. Ahmanson made its estimated patient's right to make sure it doesn't stick and who would show -- more decisive in these people's. Little -- majesty do you drugs."
[1:03]" And he hired us. Thank you. Yeah."
[1:08]" Some guy means."
[1:09]" On the costume custody of the oh reflects like -- you know what -- constantly. Things -- get."
[1:23]" He wrapped around PFW in progress and just was now."
[1:32]" Okay it's."
[1:36]" Okay we're. It's."
[1:43]" And local VFW progress this -- Thomas -- you would vault rule. Enjoying the god father -- two years well I did not know that we will run if you weren't here talking youth leaders there it's wet radio patriots that comes by 85437 Horry too if you want to it was called a lot to talk about oh another tough loss for the patriots them home but I guess we should lead off with a news of the day Paul."
[2:13]" And we each were three quote. Who have broken -- recalled later baker who is there."
[2:21]" That's amazing by the way I can I still cannot believe that he has that problem but the -- the people not like candy heart he's a real man right Richard Seymour man of the people. The field conditions here at Gillette stadium that we've grown accustomed to seeing over the years is little more gonna change its feel the earth is being installed as we speak broken by patriots dot com -- elope. Right out right now patriots football weekly -- their right now field -- is being installed for the for the bears game whole -- torn up they got bulldozers and everything else out there. So that's that both she got what she wanted to he got the field -- 40 do you think this is going to. Change does that does dynamic of the team if at all Paul."
[3:08]" Well I think first and foremost and really the only important thing is now at least the games can be played on it suitable -- surface and I think clearly. Moving forward this year there was no alternative because it that it was a mass on Sunday now any any any grass field would have been -- on Sunday -- not trying to put this on and the new -- whenever. You get at a moderate and -- short period of time in a national service it's going to be amassed and it was now the my point going forward as an update. It was fixable they're going to have to redo the whole thing Brian you know from scratch and I think this is probably the better alternative. I know that some terrorists out there like any hard you know think that filter isn't the way to go but I think it's it's a more natural it's the closest to natural grass that you can get and for the northeast when weather is affected -- think Tom yeah."
[4:05]" It is something I think probably in five years may be other than Green Bay. There's not going to be grass it would this new field turf everybody loves that. And he may be in the southern states shall keep it out Miami yet now you can have a grass field in Miami all all the other places yeah all the places where there's a lot of snow and rain in everything I used. I could imagine playing on the field on Sunday I mean I really couldn't did it look like you -- get any 40s and that takes away from the game in my opinion I -- Alex Steve almost no guy album mud guy I love that stuff but. You all I also like to see crystal ball but that's."
[4:46]" My point you know everybody -- that the phrase that are -- which uses that's the waiting game was meant to be played you know and I don't necessarily think it was meant to be played the way it was played on Sunday. You know -- neither team can get any -- can't really -- a whole lot of anything offensively because the footing is not. Not good enough I don't think that's the way it was meant to be played now should the elements -- actual nuts and at every game should be played indoors you know if it's raining -- play in the rain between do you play in the wind that's fine -- that their condition of the planes -- acting should be a little bit better than it was on Sunday navigated through no fault of anyone here it's just that's the way it is in the northeast it's going to be. Tough sledding when you get that kind of rain you know act and it rains don't. So the field turf in the but as far as the patriots performance it kind of looks like the way the field looks right now -- us and I think it's maybe time for a little patriots therapy young you and I are going to be in session. Taking the E mailers in which just haven't -- couch inherent ethnic and have a therapy session because I think everybody kind of fluff off the Indianapolis game as you know bad performance by the patriots turnover filled still had a chance to win. While this game was different this game I think you're. You know outplayed you know the players Richardson was pleasantly said out coached them. I don't think the jets are as good -- team as the patriots were rejected the colts are are -- level with the patriots I was you know is easier to right kind of blow that -- off but this one. I think the the inferior talent because in my opinion the better teams so. And it better be in session what do you think."
[6:32]" Well the way I cia is -- people say in well let's not over react from just one week overreaction from just when I heard that that in times last year yet and the patriots have played two good games in my opinion Cincinnati at Minnesota. Since they played those games. Cincinnati's 11 other game up and it was a three point went home to Carolina and the result doesn't want to gain since -- it went all the way a game that Carolina and chance to win in the last minute project on the inception and so even the we both were the only two games that they played well they -- well if I -- the bills the second time around that they -- them but the first game against buffalo live play well they didn't play well against the dolphins. And this passing game problem I think people are Pickens to open their eyes and it's going to also be fix I don't see it that way I still think the receivers are what they are I don't care that Jabar Gaffney. Made that nice one handed grab I still think he's Jabar Gaffney and."
[7:31]" You know at the biggest problem to me Thompson back up your point is I think there's it was played as well as they can possibly plants and ya -- call played great excellent at dot Jabar Gaffney as you -- That's is good is gonna get. I don't think they're going to get that much -- maybe Jack Jackson you know you know finally gets it at some point during the course of the season in and starts contributing are on a regular basis but. Other than that you expect -- 99 for 90 of the week at a Reche Caldwell Ed would you say -- Jackson's. Fourth or fifth on the depth chart right now. -- because. I would say that he was fifth that but with the possibility of being -- now because Gabriel and have been right house"
[8:12]" as probable. So I mean that's not a good sign the offensive line. I don't know what I don't know what is going on there every week there's breakdowns Brady's didn't kill -- he got. Murder in the game against the jets -- goes a couple of times I -- believe he got up there reminded me of the Broncos game from last year in the regular season retook all those kids you know they put the money in the offensive line and held it deals now but -- that -- unit should be playing better than it is right now yeah I mean really in."
[8:45]" We've heard a lot of talk about the offensive line. You know sort of being patchwork group -- I don't really think that that's accurate it -- missing starting right guard Stephen -- right you know Yates went down in -- time -- is ahead of gates and the -- Jan. So that should have been and -- missing -- right guide. I don't mean I think the world's Stephen Neal I think he's a terrific guy. And I think his story as it is amazing you know coming from where he came from and I think he's a quality player but if the difference between having and not having Stephen -- this much. -- accused acts. Ten times in the three games 33 and four I want us. Three against Minnesota three against the colts matter yet -- and it wasn't it wasn't three obstacles but whatever he's he's 23 and -- this -- more frequently lately. And that's a bad sign. Yeah I mean four against the jets and as you said -- many many others."
[9:45]" He was and this reduces the jets team they came in with 12 sacks three were from Kerry roads so they're defensive -- At nine sacks of it is game they -- and this is the problem -- the patriots offensive line has no idea what to do -- public does not mean these guys are committed untouched. But always as well who wouldn't want more -- become -- you know with that that's for that's ridiculous and that's pointed out all. -- say how was Woodson nonstop the next game and the jets had no problems discarding of him in the middle outline so having guys won freely it quarterback is not a solution of."
[10:23]" opinion yet and I didn't just again I'll back up your point is I didn't think that they had added that they had. Overload blitzes from an -- blitzing but I don't think it was you know we're sending six and you don't have enough guys the block I thought they just had guys coming from places they were expecting right -- hobson. Is allied accidentally you know he was covered in untouchable thing."
[10:47]" And down you know probably shouldn't cause -- interception before the half before wasn't for that ridiculous ridiculous called even Fred Hersch was yelling about the press box at the belief that want to terrorist -- was as. They did -- about a bad call. I mean that that went in the patriots Favre. As I've ever I I can ever ever remembered only needed some. He was as upset about that college it was like these scandals past and parents guy who zhelev will PP with a -- I was really and that's about it it was like that call offended in the all it -- credit he said you know -- for what's right that you he has honestly sit there and say. I mean the -- With base that after the game was it bears and that he should have known the ball was released and stopped his mode that we can meet. He was bear what do you wanted to do indeed it's it's their responsibility I think that's the word but he uses the responsibility of the player to know when the ball is gone via. And now -- stated that it you have to be freaking cute -- he's a particular point enemies must have eyes in the back of his head to know the ball with has won the -- when he hit on the ball was deliberate hand right. So I mean that that was a terrible call and making a tackle under the assumption that -- attack on the -- ball. Yet those that was a bad call book you know defense do you mind they ended up. Come away with a win I just think of the officiating in this league is awful and has not meant to with the meaning fixed it's that -- calls every -- was one. So two game losing streak first time and close before year's travel -- green day. My question is what happens on my question is how are you getting. Two Green -- because I know this great artist today that well I know at 330 on Saturday afternoon. You have some I'll be watching what -- I don't know it's all propaganda just give me on the plane Fred's Alameda his many TV is going to work on the plane. So I'm sure at some point there about 335 you'll be here a bunch at bombs coming from the back when I can't get reception of the game. So that's that's the plan I I -- form as many -- Mario bring mine -- Fred says that you could get a picture. You know and yet like yet the change channel quite frequently because obviously. It's going to be different spot he'd be he will be different spot -- state you but I'm in marketing agreement we resolve that now we should catch most of the second half you know that everything goes well. Because you know -- have all the hoopla for the game in everything they'll probably start ten minutes later normally dozen. All of us you know quite catch after the third them. Or why can't they just play this game for us you know I was in shock I thought for sure the whole point of the 8 o'clock game at the get in it's weird businesses changes as the season has gone. The whole point of the 8 o'clock game the first was to have the best game -- Ohio State taxes. -- now they have of the Florida State Miami even know yeah now that's joke that was time that was marquee team -- now as the year goes on -- they were they just -- my -- o'clock in the all their best games -- at 330 they got kind of I'm lucky this week -- advocates -- USC -- USC which is a good game but unfortunately lost its luster. So Leo so we got that game we I mean what happens -- the patriots lose on Sunday ball as it is a widespread panic around here. I think it is -- if they -- on Sunday. -- yeah well ironically with the -- coveted the most of the Packers the Packers. They do state. But there's one thing they can do -- throw the football the Packers -- not a good team and I agree with you and they showed it last week against that in Minnesota in the patriots you know we've given so much credit the Packers made them look silly to you know -- five -- what 37. And Donald driver cut close to a friend our fastest growth. So date of the Packers have some talent some individual talent but that's not a very good team and I should point out in the previous that you wrote defensively is real bad the other bed at that the patriots -- all the ball -- team in trouble. Well they ranked 32 goal of the Minnesota gave no any good -- at 240 -- any good at all against the run today forced teams to throw. And it is too low -- go to last week I believe they were tenth against the row on the 32 against the pass to you know how might how often you know have have teams decided you know kind of like -- out. Likely is going to throw one. All you know I don't know I know older I know a hawk I Deion Sanders said AJ hawk had a good year. So -- and I've I we heard and the NFL network saw it one of the linebackers I've never heard of the bowl safety's stake. On the quarterbacks recorders are pretty good and they they have one they had 27 -- owner of the Minnesota games with a put pressure on the quarterback that's what makes the 11 who presided -- time goes by you know obvious I'm I'm a little concerned with the with the patriot I wasn't overly concerned about the Indianapolis game I am a little concerned after the jets game. But now the more you know time's going by -- Green Bay green -- one a couple of games it not feel good about themselves. The NFC's week of -- not out of playoff race right or five. You know they get to 55 they probably -- ideologue needs while all the while working for five and four right now though more moderate for the time was my time -- more concern I'm getting you to tell me they have a lot of sacks in the office supplies had -- it has is angle and millions of sex. The I'm fitness but I should say that the pass defense one of the things and it would be ranked low anyway but one of the things that kind of skews their -- little bit is that the game were Harrington. At the 500 yards or whatever debris through and and the Packers -- yes so that kind of frozen out of whack a little bit he threw the ball 60 some kind listen. So that actually had a low percentage that an act and the -- the most often writes though -- group of 400 and change them but you know al Harrison Charles Woodson. Mean those pretty good cornerbacks I know I know what's not has does he used to be not what he wants was by. Well they're not going up is the best receivers in the world leader that's my point that's my point and -- if you have you had a safeties on all that could wildest now this team so far through nine games hasn't demonstrated the ability to get deep right. You know so. Weeks if he play that might help -- not help -- it's not going to hurt my at least I think Dick he's going to be is can a force far but it making mistakes as the last couple weeks you know he's played pretty well. He's he doesn't throw a lot of interceptions obviously we know if you can get in you'll throw balls -- the coverage -- that's what you're looking for with the -- it to him early in the year. I looked at again where's the patriots pass rush they don't touch quarterbacks so I used to look at it adds an."
[18:05]" All the time Tom -- that the pats heyday used to say all things being equal was well reported net man. Turnovers you know if you don't turn the ball over you don't you have a big you know big kickoff return for a -- something all things being equal the patriots will win and that's what I would say virtually against anybody. But now look at him is like geez if they don't cost turn over two. I'm not sure you know if they pray tell us that night that the patriots are going to bounce back I think it's still a pretty good football team that it they'll be a should will beat the -- by. I am concerned about some of the stuff that I'm seeing and hearing and we'll probably probably get into the the stuff that we hearing a little bit but this jets game as we move forward by. Richard Seymour -- a bottle out played out coached I thought this was mortgaged and -- talked about this before we go on the air. Mike were able talking about how they didn't run enough inside wooden and Troy brown talking about how the -- in public key stop when they needed. So that's it defensive guy talking about the offense an offensive guy talking about the defects that it's not a good sign. No it's not that doesn't happen around you never has not happened and they had plenty of opportunities in the past were to happen last year especially early in the Hillary autorads scoring 30 points every game. And still -- game winning field goals and sometimes falling short altogether. They never turned on each other and I'm not and at that turning on each other now they may have just been kind of innocuous comments but I thought it was just an -- deeper into guys talking about the off Manson an -- guys talking about the deep which usually when you ask -- defensive guy they say you know. We lost 103 we -- hold on to less than you know we got to force internal as we gotta give the offering short fields in may set some of those things but they're also talking about things the -- didn't do it that's interest and to me."
[19:51]" And the whole thing about I don't know if you felt this way but just watch in the game might have to -- like early on this public opinion wants to be on the field. -- just I don't see any emotion now a lot of I don't see anything from -- jets were jumping around when they made a play you know issues they were all they were team that felt like that they they really wanted this game. The patriots he went 13 to feel like wolf we show up with his win -- kinda like the fans feel about them."
[20:21]" That's exactly how it looked like Johnson had a -- outside you know we we rarely talk about. Bill belichick and negative light and and the way he goes about his business in formulating game plans and one not but. This whole thing with -- mean -- I think it was totally unnecessary distraction yeah yeah -- himself and I don't mean it necessarily distracted his team. But I think it it it needed the jets and -- Laveranues Coles who quoted after the game saying you know you know some of the guys were talking about how he won't call Eric by name right he only calls he refers to him as the other guy. Well anytime you disrespect our coach wouldn't do just that you know. Children get a little bit more to try to you know try to get in there -- in and do we can -- to win for him now maybe that's worth absolutely nothing in the in the grand scheme of things maybe. You know -- the jets needed extra incentive. I I I -- I think a lot of that stuff is over rated but I'll tell you we've given the patriots a lot of credit. After the fact four you know the Pittsburgh Steelers saying that the united booking a hotel restorations when we know full well the patriots -- you know before -- 2001 AFC championship game and was only one week in between the conference title and its approval. We we we make these things out to be big deals when the patriots win so I'm not going to sweep them under the rug when the patriots lose you know -- on the surface when I hear that -- mean -- had his team watched this idealist -- among our Ali fight. The night before the game you know the first one when when -- quit the champ quit the race. I think that's kind of corny and those things -- kind of silly but you know what when the patriots to those thing relative opposes same thing -- technically thinking god Eric is my priority is doing everything that he learned under bill. He has been basically the ideal student right now everything he does is exactly the way build it in right now on Sunday he did it better. Right afterwards and mix well. That was funny"
[22:32]" but I think you're right though. Why give the jets -- is is something that the patent on -- sad the unnecessary motivation. No once it was not and I said I've seen Bilbao attempt -- other coaches hands he's not vote -- you know he's not sit there for hours -- P and you know pat me on the head. But just walk up give the guy handshake and walked away easy you know at the happy and think it doesn't have to."
[22:58]" Always mascot for any time or anything like that but this is I think you know. Gary you agree with this and I don't normally desperate nine nonsense but don't you think that I helped create it right but don't think this is an unnecessary. Added incentive that he gave the jets for no reason why just they told us everything that I have heard from their players about -- your right about there is not respecting human all that they -- of the you know that was just motivation. Yeah and I just think that there was no reason for it just because the -- last. I mean I mean you act which he scorned you and you know kinda. You know. I don't know if it just seems like it's -- it was taken so much more personally. And I think you needed to be in west there's something out there that we just don't know Tom right but because on the surface it would appear to meet a -- tickets upset because he gave. And -- defensive coordinator position with a host that he would have bet that spot solidified a little bit for the for you know. The reasonable future right and then and then Eric got a job immediately and ended up leaving after one year and he -- scorn from -- that's all it is then that's ridiculous red gave me a job at PFW -- I'm going to be here but at the Boston globe calls my desk will be empty tomorrow. That's life all its interest in that you bring up -- in this in this regard because and all in all seriousness you know Fred is our boss and we joked around -- time. But he is our boss you know and and he's he's -- got to work for but I giving an example you can handle it differently when you're in charge. Last year around the time that you came Tom I also had possibilities of leaving the same time that Bryant I was up for job at the Boston herald. Now Bryan -- had decided he was -- Fred called me into his office I was the assistant editor at the time -- called me it was office instead -- beauty editor you know kind of like gone from defensive backs coach to defensive coordinator exit it's an increase in responsibility. And and whatnot in salary a lot of other things that go with it. You know first he asked me how I felt about it bubble -- block you know all the things that Normal you know. You know employer employee kind of discussions great pride I'm I'm really excited about the opportunity -- have I just want to tie it I would like it if you would I -- you stay for one. And because he knew that I'd been looking in the past periodically here and there for other jobs in and it for a daily not because I don't like -- Newspaper rather than a weekly -- school paper and he told me that he's going to need me to stay here for awhile. And I said yeah I got nothing on -- on the horizon a reasonably good you know at least a year you know give me at least a year before you looking for another job. Don't you know Tom the next day and I'm not hitting the very next day I got a call from the Boston herald sports editor to have -- in an interview for the patriots beat writers. I went into Fred and I told the whole story and he immediately said we'll forget that you gotta go this would have been waiting for race that's how he felt about it. He'd just not 24 hours earlier had a conversation with me I needed to stay for awhile we need to solidify things I can't have everybody leave at once will be in trouble with -- all new guys. Less than 24 I was out today as well there's so much this is too good of an opportunity for you personally you gotta take it I don't know kinda like getting ten million or five years might be too good of an opportunity to pass up."
[26:26]" I mean with the is posted two weeks 35 years old. They offered him a job in New York to meet a head cold dust on Alonso assault that was a bad situation but and I got my hands in the air aren't stunned by how well he has done so without argument aside we also added you gotta take it. You know what I mean it's it's a chance we all a lot of money it's a chance to establish yourself at a young age and there's nothing you can do in this situation I'm sure probably -- he was being truthful he was probably shot. They he had it he got a -- offer that quickly and but it happened in you know life goes on -- I just I think you guys are all right would some of quotes from a jets players there's no need to give them bulletin board material happens on every team every team posts up that bulletin board stuff. And you just because ballots yet is the guy does that mean that the jets are going to get motivated by and they are electric and he has been just as a set just disappointed with -- just by saying you know -- mean -- during the course of his weekly press conferences. Immediately he had to gush of bottom -- does -- excitement. All right no once -- once -- the liked -- right -- once -- and that book could've gotten his point across very easily without letting everybody on the planet now that I'm not happy with him while he was trying to play head games and you know lot. It's funny because he's playing head games Corey Dillon's threaten people and their elusive so they've -- to spend more time with the playbook in the game plan worried about win football games that play in little head games during the past conferences. That's my opinion on Iowa public on the field Tom on Sunday what did the jets do. Defensively do you think that that cause some problems I just think they were physical you know I thought they were physical line I thought like you said their blitzes came from places they weren't expecting it -- just lined up and sent ten people -- they were very thought out well thought out blitzes they came word they must have known. Seeing things on tape things that they could exploit you know I didn't think the jets' secondary played all that great but I thought their front seven played much better than I thought they would any of the patriots ran the ball on the we fitted that would happen. And you know I just think they outsmarted defensively I thought they were more physical they outsmarted the patriots offense once again for the second week road now a lot of -- post game talk with the fans and some of the talk show host here in Boston is judged that his -- around the run the running game and aren't enough that you up on the run too early. Would what are your thoughts on. They ran the ball 14 times in the first half 11 times in the second half. I thought they could run the ball little bit more -- I think the jets had a lot of time a lot of drives that eat up a lot of a safe touch on the ball again habit it is. So I think -- to take that into consideration this week they had some long -- even when they didn't score they were only didn. But when they got first downs they were get 11 yards they -- in 30 yards a clip of him again in three plays 11 out move the chains -- way it was all day so I don't think they had as much time to run it. So I will so I will stayed out although the second week euros seem like Corey Dillon did kinda disappeared the second half that if I mean he didn't you receive that many -- that he had been -- pretty well."
[29:55]" Now the big thing if they talked about with the deal and was and Mike Felder brought an -- report card today -- had a 50 yard run late in the first quarter now he came on after that run obviously you know or for a breather because 50 yards that means he needs it oxygen. The next night that there was three plays after that in the first quarter Moroni ran for ten yards or 11 yards and seven yard Ryan and then it stopped for no gain in and it will ball and kick a field in the first -- a quarter. So he sat out that stretch right there we'll then the jets got the ball back. Threw an interception and a ban on the second place after the patriots got the ball back they fumbled it right back from that point the jets had the ball for 16 place or 15 mile long drive a very long drive by nine minutes once. And wound up getting a touchdown take the lead and the patriots got the ball back at about four minutes to go in the half and they used almost exclusively no huddle aria kind remotely in the half an -- downing got a field goal. Not necessary when you would -- Corey Dillon and you know at least half of that tribe was hurry up you know an editorial and trying to get in position for field goals so the fact that Dylan didn't play much and that doesn't really surprise me and he came back of the third quarter early in the third quarter. Now I will say I want to say 11 -- 98 yards yes that's me take up the 50 yard run that's still ten carries 50 yards. That's that's a lot yet he he had his best game little or raise ten carries 40 yards four pointed -- that's that's a great average for him. You end you know part of the reason that the patriots don't have much time with the into the game was because it took Dylan's 60 seconds to run 50 yards I thought if it is Cole was Andre -- talking how -- chased and chased him down and he did you watched I watched the replay -- about halfway -- he got about five yards away. And -- all of a sudden he almost -- down and it at eight up from like five got like eight yards in any at a closing gap down again and for some reason Cory were beaten back the whole time he was running you know some more coming. And really understand that no -- either but the -- dollar -- was not effective in this game in -- wise so do you we surprised that instead of you know whatever 12 and 11 carries it wasn't 20 carries --"
[32:28]" I gotta be honest with the I think they're totally mismanaging -- 12 punch. Totally mismanaging it and here's why I think when you have a one to -- sugar bowl running well he fetal ball but if one guy is -- better than the other guy for that particular week. That's the guy you go to. Now I've -- much higher on morality that I am I know anyone but this week this week. If I was the coach I would to set okay Lawrence you worry about it golf you know the big guys handled the carries for now he's run an -- it was his it was Dylan type -- whether that's straight ahead running style and I think -- mismanaging the 12 punch because when somebody gets hot. They're still split and carries the whole point of this is that you got hot -- you ride -- nobody does that better than. Read it Philadelphia what he's always had those hurdles to running back that he -- that I would -- there was healthy we will with -- called -- was healthy -- Westbrook played -- receiver and he -- Well at least -- Brian there was tension in the room but it is he would get aboard the Kerry's. So I think -- Dylan for every how many games really get we're Dylan's one of that well you know power -- did give a -- he -- is he's not going to die here."
[33:44]" Another example -- would Denver start against Indianapolis Tatum Bell was lit up quite well and I might well as a man possessed in the second half. This is when you -- up the you to our picture of the Corey Dillon day. That was it yet no need to be you know outlook for anything fancy he not try to not necessary looking for the home run ball you just want to just pounded between the tackles these camera with probable that effectively down the field. You want to on the ball between its -- at four yards clip in the mud in the rain when a guy who generally holds onto the football in in bad conditions in all conditions. That was Corey -- that -- and yeah I just. You know it's great to have two backs but at some point in a game if you feel one is outperforming the other it is kinda game give him the -- you you don't -- split up every week. By the way can change the subject for segments on the cowboys highlights are going on behind me. That's on the plate in the first half that don't try to do you must have seen it by now -- he wasn't supposed to do I know that while I was gonna just gonna make the point it was nice Bill Parcells finally come back. Because I haven't seen a mall year did it yeah it's -- he said you guys think it's all perfect you don't know Andy's going to offer that 99 yards for a touchdown that is that is really less important and I said. It should have been right when he hit -- Artrell role yet but -- instead it was interest in not pulling up the -- that's not my point out although you'd you know him well what's going to happen I would cotton taken into the house. But my point is that Bill Parcells that's the Bill Parcells that right now is more you know kind of -- in in while winning in victory is and you know why he's doing this because everyone's all they had to -- why you know what the reality Israel he had yet he has but you don't Parcells it's been three games not up 30. And he doesn't want this guy get a big head in -- he's not -- doubt that I'm sure you heard about that because let me tell you something that was really if he returns -- for a touchdown. I'm not so sure apply at those not a big heats up as the second half while the only event that it will kind of mistake that would have been -- as they would -- had a pretty PB outlets and that's sort of but he knew what you. He was just kind of I'm telling you they clicked on like in the they they shortage autumn on the silent in the likes of the slight chill out. I'm -- if you even has they had headset on in the course of the game like at least when he was here when he was -- events -- headset on previewing -- on radio come over like cutesy like in those three games glory videos time you see you know who Taka -- Arab -- in -- You know Charlie -- tells Brady all these things in Andrew goes over there it is -- I don't let him get a look at why he's like -- it was like talks -- totally like drew right daylight you know forget about what the coaches that he got a letter library to get 11 paying out -- most like. You know I just can't see him doing anything really overly encouraged right now not that he's rooting necessarily rooting against Tony -- as I'm sure he has nothing against -- personally I like him personally have children you know it's. It's just a matter of him professionally it's you know as Italy's Ricardo Natale plus you know their --"
[37:03]" No accident it would happen with Brady he had time right now knows he's coming to the end of his careers so it's a little bit different. All right let's get to the emails here we have David and the subject is now coached. It was very easy to see the pats -- coached also did you notice in the polls -- interview this is the first to be with bill did not mention they were out coached the second on second down the -- bullets every play how about a screen pass stupid -- But it aimed at."
[37:38]" So well. We went from it bill we trust how."
[37:42]" The screen test will it go at the they had at least one screen past that didn't work in the game. Yeah I don't know the I don't think that they had these blitzes that everybody else thinks they -- I think they blitzed. But I think what they did was they they gave with the patriots often do. In -- many pages disguise where it was coming from Gary well and I talked to see more about that a little bit after the colts game did because I don't that the patriots would very much against the -- but they had constant pressure on Indian jewelry mature -- that's still on most surreal moments in the Boston radio history but the point about. You know just when you don't know where the blitzes coming from it's kinda different you know I don't necessarily in other words if they're only sending four or five guys. And you have a screen call we'll doesn't blame you not necessarily negating a blitz with a screen kiss is still guys that media tackle. You know I mean it threw the ball 41 times -- only got sacked for so -- another time they had 37 pass attempts that they could've had a guy open. You know in other words they don't and the pages -- them up themselves open to place ideas that I think --"
[38:59]" One of those things for -- and -- was familiar with the team she learned some things from the first game -- watch -- tape and there -- watched -- right now -- over the with L's -- about the -- the interception by -- who picked that -- Coleman interception by Eric Coleman some lined up in his Normal spot but came flying up the middle. And a force Brady threw the ball right Gary Coleman so hold you know that's -- disguised their blitzes very well and you know you gotta take your hats off to the jets had a great game plan it worked. Either offensively when they got out of sight attempt Paul rivals that. But even bother running it would they do they ran it three straight plays a touchdown I could go area so what did they do the chancellor's Paul brought up to -- You know Vince Wilfork would probably is walled up probably his game of the year he's been dominant pretty much all season. And -- mangled could kinda took over the school little bit which which is surprising."
[39:57]" And Vince Wilfork by the -- after the game someone you go to the jets' locker room. As upset as anybody in outline that we'll see I mean not not thorns fits or anything like that very measured in his home but very very upset and disappointed both of himself and -- team. I I think you know I don't want to. I don't want to have the whole panic button Boston's sports thing you know we often do but I think that a little bit of a crossroads -- this very important time and they need to get some wins together. And they need to door relatively quickly I mean we we kinda broke it down the sketch of the seven games left in in my opinion it's kind of broken up into two parts four. Must wins against bad teams in my mind and three games that. You can probably say. They go to our -- of bull for lack of a better term. Chicago at Miami's Internet Jack I object I think those games or lose double games I don't think that they will -- that doesn't mean they will lose those games don't want -- email stood just look at that at that the surface -- Now the other games Detroit Houston Green Bay and Tennessee -- belief in my opinion. Those four games that you absolutely positively have to win is no excuse was in any of those Ortiz right if you lose 21 of those four then that in just one of them and I got that panic button ready or less it. Unless it's late a year -- everything is all wrapped up right."
[41:24]" It's funny you should mention panic button because Mike in Vermont says I know it's only two games here but should we start pushing the panic but have you received the patriot games where the play calling has come under so much scrutiny. How how much of the recent failures you attribute to pour. Coaching game plan including an execution could be that we simply don't have enough talent doesn't Tom Brady's can be more rattle the Reeves who I guess through a lot of unanswered questions I know you'll should recall -- and what do you guys think -- just fall far. I was -- hear them but -- Charlie Weis coax them a beating here years she always took place calling meetings every year he was. So -- that remember patriot fans especially the -- goal of the playoffs the -- game and we need to be taken down even even my friends who used to it would gamble on the patriots would would yell at the TV you know you know what -- passover two yards it. So two years Brady didn't."
[42:23]" You know that was that's that's true that was the offense that was a dink and -- passing attack and -- once teens following god got wind of that and they they opened up a little but obviously -- evil but yet Charlie -- you're actually writes on Charlie -- when he was here. I thought was an excellent imaginative innovative play caller. But there -- plenty -- sense that we criticized -- his calls money I mean even even on this show even Fred. You know who very rarely criticize anything -- and to do with the patriots there were times -- want to particularly at a key third down around midfield. And they called me wide receiver reverse pass but David givens in Denver on Monday night game -- panic right now villages shredding the Broncos of the timing of going you know getting ready to put the game pointy -- Just terrible terrible -- without wide receiver."
[43:17]" You know I mean yes consult with a play calling the question -- captain Tom Brady's play be questioned I say yes and the quality receivers be questioned nicely yes. -- the consistency the offensive line -- question and I say yes in other words I think all of these things are contributing to a very inconsistent offense rate now is Dave that's the biggest problem -- the offense -- which yeah. And one deep trance is perfect the way outside Alaska right weeks it's been okay. But as an imperfect I think what do you chancellor even -- who were talking earlier the first game against the dolphins they only get 200 yards of total offense and they -- if the defense doesn't play as well as they did lose that game -- home and that's the other problem mean. The home field advantage and six losses gave -- around at at six home losses in the last year and a half -- I guess it's me. Before I Geiger they have lost that gave a home with any -- 3 in all four they want all their home games in Oates who they lost three you know five they lost three -- sixth lost three that's a lot of home losses yeah. So it's probably good they were -- the green day good for everybody that the -- me who would ask yeah I -- it we got -- and he says I hate the jets but -- projects that I'm not going to talk about they gave them for the rest of emails will cover everything. His -- into the field markings no penalty he had fixed yeah. Form by key it is to have it is a good guy he says verge of Jabar Gaffney took dams number alone. Now -- well I saw him on the field so Jabar Gaffney is number ten yen Japanese ambassador team. He set us speak at a stop bloodshed deaths I want to DBR replay of the."
[45:05]" Colts -- rejects the result of fuel on eight plays that I counted and for those for running plays I don't know -- all feel hygiene he's involved they're not that bad there there has. There has got to be used for him somewhere in the jets -- he saw the feel a lot more now is very courage he's being used the block ground running plays a lot which makes sense given his death led -- schism. And I like the fact that down the line who -- willing blocker from spending so much time doing it right now hope to see more of him it."
[45:36]" Every game he was blocking he wasn't a lot of road -- on Sunday India actually pointed that out during the course of the game in the running to his side yet eulogize I saw that -- did he did do pretty good job blocking. Okay nix doesn't work faults okay afield as hurting the pats as much as the visiting teams well that's no longer prop up my Sunday it is not a question the field was not good for anybody right back Mike rebels quote the -- it's the closest -- Mike -- quote was perfect he said. Did the field affect the affect the waiting game was played absolutely did it affect the outcome absolutely not bright that that's that -- definite right way to put him. He says Colbert is playing well that's it that's -- well but we'll have to rework his contract the state next year Jarvis and -- will have to renegotiate to arm Corey Dillon and probably -- would I would say. And Corey Dillon's probably yet do we think -- is gone but he would definitely don't always agree with me sort of the if you wanted to stay I would imagine he would have to rework some it's not pay is eight a -- yours secondary this bad can't just cut literally consistent player when they won't cut he -- leave but he's going to be a free agent. That's a big difference and has no way they would -- agree with you arm this is not juniors last season he continues to play like -- did. I disagree with that this is false last season I've never like a substantial false idea. Started out that it was this and it neck from side that's his -- last season and never like Kevin very much he missed the cut last week although call five others including two Arabic verse down I think he's playing for someone -- true LB out of the box from site I think that. I don't know that's a tough one I think that the better chance that he's back but. And the feeling that he's going to go -- is Owen Davis or replace this offseason kick coverage is bad doesn't bode well for their jobs yours probably Truman Madsen I would have to say so ethnic and it Diego. We have on the phone right now we have might get EU my."
[47:54]" And used to close. While some positions that anybody and I'm training -- resisting a cup our team come not from a biweekly Sally field and coordinators around and culture laden. A graduate belichick and so on so what by immediately notice them."
[48:11]" The -- the -- globally you know I understand all that book the patriots are better than the jets now I know there I don't that's why I'm -- it's just account current nine they've gotta hope the jets Louis Chicago this week by. Yeah we we are now scoreboard watching here yeah after the accident and I for one and stunned by. I had to say that."
[48:35]" But I think I think the most important thing is -- even it isn't he played remarks certainly object is. Potential not to what we've seen I think they would vote to gain it'll actually. I mean in what the wind once played that Bob -- were Graham -- and that crowd when it was like she was out open open in -- field 20 yards downfield increased completely overthrew him. We need to see that he's not crazy doesn't have -- much speed on the ball and obviously at least a question of whether he injured or not we're not going to find out that -- anyways so. Just kind of really scary to me that he's not playing alone. Just became an ad and it still just down on the way throughout the team -- and options and so forth."
[49:17]" I -- you say well if if fifth but I'm saying it drew Bennett catches that -- maybe the patriots go to the Super Bowl if Mike Martz run the ball maybe they'll win that super wal you know. Is North Carolina to the kicked a ball out of bounds maybe they -- that super by the new that you could say -- if but the bottom line is he used plain bad the off the passing game has been playing bad virtually all seasons so and to DC to play better. Well you know why we think that it's all the sudden just that a clinical -- play in the vikings. Texture and my question to -- the from -- is why do we think that Brady isn't playing as well as I agree he's not -- why do we think that is the case. They -- reasons as to why a guy who has had such a good track record of play has been awfully."
[50:05]" I guess I mean under no there's a lot of reasons could be entry could be the receivers I just I think that that's -- game against the jets I think that the best receivers will play and called lotta great being made a couple of plays. Actually came out of nowhere amid a great catch over the middle where's the bobbled by an enemy of the good catch on that -- they scored 30 seconds."
[50:23]" Now I agree and I think that we series gave you more enacting an you can possibly expect. That's -- that's really why I'm I'm I'm overly concerned I cannot see it getting much better for the receivers."
[50:34]" You know kind of loud and scary -- intent on -- only might be -- peninsula. I'm not then not so good at English for me to play out I don't think clearly a much which isn't very we're gonna."
[50:46]" I still think that though there was -- division I think -- that much better than the jets that they should be able to in the last have been gains in Russia. You know you know hole be it be able to hold the jets off but you know the big picture here is -- right -- now looking at a a little bit like I looked at a last year NIC teams like. You don't Indian San Diego and Denver tonight and not so sure that the patriots are going to be -- I'm not simply can't beat them but -- I don't think that a fall things are equal the other team is is and the other team is better if all the injury Poland I didn't use."
[51:21]" I was also wondering if fact I'm your prediction of the bidders not having a chance coming into Gillette stadium not -- we blocked solid games at home still stand."
[51:29]" Well I say that because it NFC team obviously after defense. We'll probably match up well with the patriots who popular a lot of upstairs. I think decade comes from a one guy if the -- Rex Grossman -- I think the bears have a chance if the rest -- met as played against the cardinals -- other teams comes -- I think they'll give."
[51:50]" well you know. -- the other -- that would be it it's also the third road game -- three straight for the bears the bears you know for all the the patriots fans alike to whine about the jets being coming off a bye week most the third straight road game for the bears -- and they go to the -- twice and then two to New England that's not exactly easy Pickens the Chicago"
[52:14]" I hope I think senator -- get more consistent and you know hopefully they will it seemed unattractive so we've got you plurality troops put how we got it on the field against you really -- more questioning if what we can't feed them"

[57:18]" Life make me look like a brigadier ago I -- back yet what programs as the FWM -- Sally all -- all taken by net job -- we've got to feel her badly it's crazy around here -- web radio patriots dot com 5085437 or eight to E mail is piling up all piling up we got RJ in Vegas that he would like to talk about world. -- after -- less than hardball loss I have a question about our running game -- Now what liberal he has worked or if he's sick of Corey Dillon it's why are one game is so. God darn boring with the exception of the few times -- thrown to -- Brady discreet word jam -- want to -- every single time he used like kiwi outside collateral wrong or flea flicker. To break up the line C news like he hasn't had a 20 plus yard run for a long time also like to give a shout out -- for stepping up leading the team in receptions. Birth their for the third game or wrote to me 90 yards okay for a third fourth receiver -- and one last thing 90 yards is okay for a third or fourth receiver how many year -- yeah. Which -- and I -- a big game for anybody right. What did you guys think Gaffney. You showed flashes of better than average ability in the few catches I saw him make. In an RJ timed it right after that when I forgot to mention this Ali is the man with albums not talking about wishing he could big 16 year old is creeping everywhere now. The exit seven they that whatever would make it legal via other young girls eight we were talking about Gaffney thing upstairs a little bit."
[59:07]" gathered at the -- you know I've seen flashes the first is played he had one catch before Sunday so that's I was impressed by him on Sunday by I was basically the first summit in by the other thing that I would. Kinda take exception to is the -- that there they -- criticized might rebel and in fact I should stated. Just blankly that they were criticized Mike re able question why didn't run the ball up the middle more often on Sunday -- they were trying to get -- wide in an outside the tackles a lot and now the RJ is saying that they didn't. They don't do enough to run him laterally you know Corey -- 50 yard run was up the middle and he broke into the outside. I don't think you know on actions in us all year I don't think you can make a living in the NFL pitching the ball out trying to get around the around your tackles I don't think you can do that very often Kenya well once in awhile short yet but I never."
[1:00:00]" I like Reggie bush you know you yeah April reversed in here there and try to catch the edge or whatever you can do it but you can't make a living in the NFL trying to out -- you know and get outside their containment consistent basis I don't think well I think the problem is here is that. The offense is struggling and I think -- struggling all over the place and people are people pick in their poison their picking where they want to criticize -- struggling in all areas yet edited out early atop the offensive line has been inconsistent the running backs have been inconsistent quarterback has been inconsistent in their receivers have been entrances."
[1:00:36]" And you know it's -- you we said. -- kinda said the last couple weeks that you can't chalk up any victory to the jets but they're not good enough football team it start to get to the point were you wondered if he would chop up the victory of the patriots. Because like -- said the more you talk about the Green Bay gave you start to think we'll -- what do they play like this again on offense that far it's hot and -- at this kind of a feel that we didn't have here early on in the season absolutely."
[1:01:04]" And I'm prizes anybody I thought the and I even said this before the game I said even if the patriots lose their fellow at the division was over like asked the reality of actually having them lose has changed my mind and in watching how they lost because. I don't think there was anything -- Cuba with the jets -- la the jets lined -- the jets were much better team Sunday than they were in week two what I saw them in in the meadowlands -- the patriots are it and I'm not so sure the patriots are any different."
[1:01:34]" Okay we got Stephen Connecticut that I am going to reserve venting my frustration of specifics of the last two games of the patriots made a good team will win their division and if they can work aisles of the inconsistencies. Can go deep into the playoffs let's face it this is not the same team that treated adjustable pools of global titles with the patriots second loss in a row ending their one last streak. The last bastion of new England's world championship team has been swept away I no longer feel appropriate to showcase the three time world champions banner so prominently on the website. The 40 niners cowboys beat the Steelers won last year don't boast such statistics on the home page of the web sites. This is. Its -- it words this is the purview of the almanac media guide -- three -- to glory. Collection don't get me wrong I've seen this team go one and 15 to bet the bank yours I appreciate that be competitive year after year. And even if they don't want at all maybe the fans of organizations collectively putting the glory days in the pass to help right the ship ordered a Super Bowl whatever this year is championship banner for the website instead. Yes the first I'm not that intelligent so what I'm hosting don't use big words it certainly don't use Roman numerals I have no idea what those mean we learned about that like third grade -- 40 years ago for me it was Super Bowl we. 40 want to believe so he says. There under the banners forget about the past and hopefully they can put a Super Bowl 41 banner on the website so Fred -- the war Super -- banners on the website Steve says that era is now -- Paul rule."
[1:03:14]" Why besides I disagree with a little bit and I'm not a big fan of throwing your accomplishments in everybody's face I kind of make fun of the raiders all the time. An awful oh commitment to excellence -- with the and they always have their three Super Bowl trophies everywhere prominently displayed a not a huge fan of that by. It's much better for the patriots than it is for those other teams they've they've done it more recently Ameen. The Steelers won it last year but -- previous foray -- 20 years ago 20 plus years ago. On the patriots won three in the last five years in now they would when it this year it's four and six years is that not at all connected when you -- four and six years. I think -- I would guess that Steve's point impossible for -- to win the Super Bowl this year but I I'm not willing yet I think it will be impossible based on what I've seen over nine games but this to seven games. In other way to play in the first nine games I would say it's impossible for him -- when a suitable. But I've seen in the past where they played it best football in December and November or December and into January if they do that again not going to rule them out for a chance to one won a title you now"
[1:04:22]" and foreign sticks that's what -- at the -- with the Steelers illustrators as dealers that it before six every 677 and then you don't that's considered almost every five and 76 -- it. Yeah I get a get a get a -- maybe seven -- 7578 -- now at 76 might have been a year they had that great team in Goodwin -- went via. Yeah -- 176 and in -- in seven cents at once every 475. And instead is -- in 79 via so I mean there's the."
[1:04:56]" Hope I mean don't Levy they're not playing well you gotta say like it is but it's it's not over we look at the NFL Sox seriously at a Coulter lucky to beat the bills these teams Allstate. It's just the patriots bhutanese worst in Indianapolis the Rama the other radio right now on this team maybe undefeated ought to so it's not all you can go anywhere is in fine. You know find weaknesses in any team because there's there's not good teams in the NFL only one that's the way they a lot of that that's who they you think that chargers are great. There's secondary you know has afforded to get in the second half the when he and I like the chargers I think they're very good football team -- they'll all teams have weaknesses. You know they scored 42 and second half and extortion have been enough they -- at least -- overtime and by the way that was my game only only I -- not a game elusive like that -- of it's the only time NFL history of quarterback -- for 400 receivers on for 200 on the same team that the -- laws so. That's why when I get the emails is a boy like you quit gambling that's why cozy yet -- sick and tired of it associated with stats like that."
[1:06:05]" Outside the patriots came close to doing that in 1994 I don't know how many yards Ben Coates had in Miami on opening day of 1994 but I know that Bledsoe went over 400 and Ben Coates had to be darn close to took 200 and they lost 303935 Miami in the opening day. Toledo more useless knowledge cultural John McLaughlin as if."
[1:06:30]" Bush on that if it is. Obviously the -- well it is an amateur. A home with so much negativity after the consecutive."
[1:07:03]" Lost ladies wanted to point out a few alternative points won't read all everything he says -- point out the points. Waiting in the NFL's hard believe that is pretty self explanatory he is as much as pats fans like to think that -- win every game in reality what in the NFL's hard work and -- he'd even -- the ones have a chance to lose it at any given week. And he points out for the colts in the bills the chargers in the browns raiders Broncos as examples of good teams that they had problems Tom Brady is humid. You know as late as radiators need to be playing his best football and all that book he still Tom Brady's that are in the prime of his career -- all the weapons at his disposal if he'll and up. Playing to his potential by the end of the year. Three losing isn't the end. In today's NFL era a salary cap when the championship is difficult much less three in the past five years is the end I think we have been spoiled for the point or anything most of the super balls of disappointment. Yet when a team has been as successful the pats have been free agency -- retirements -- going to take a -- every team goes through a period of decline if the path connects you properly the very good chance of competing with any -- giving -- Sunday. So after he -- the schedule is at blogging it over the schedule many people as the pants were finished 13 and three at opened four they and he says you know you never know it's gonna happen any weeks the sorry for the long email he of the intestines were. Well I mean will -- three loss of yet it's 12 would forward"
[1:08:38]" I -- at 124 Leon predicted to. And I think that's an excellent record I I totally agree with the email I think 12 for the NFL I think that's you're an elite team -- Yugo 12 for an NFL however that doesn't mean I think that you are Super Bowl contender. And depending on how that unfolds and like I said the way it's unfolded thus far I don't think there's a possible contender -- things can change if they -- the lumber to the teams they should beat and then you know. Let's say that they they lose Cuomo said they -- who. I don't -- Jackson. Okay Nicholas 12 and four Tom. If they have a an impressive performance in Chicago in impressive performance at Miami date soundly beat. The also -- that they play in -- stand in Detroit in in Green Bay and I think that your he he you might have a chance to do some damage in the White House. Depending on how things unfold the matchups and all that you know you know now. But if -- you know if they beat Green -- say the way they beat buffalo on opening day you know by the skin of their teeth and then they do the same. You know when a couple other teams and maybe get blown out by Chicago that I am going to look at and say well again Monday play a good team they're not ready to win. You know I'm not going to have to cut I didn't have a lot of confidence going to the playoffs last year that they were going to win the -- now. I -- that fans can make an argument that if they didn't make all those mistakes against Denver they they could very well one of their right but the fact of the matter is they did in the regular seat they did in the playoffs what they did in the regular season when -- played a good opponent. They didn't play a perfect game that's basically what the problem was in the regular season last year it was a problem in Denver in the playoffs and that's how I look at it now. If they continue for 16 games to play pin down football in squeak by eight sub part teams in and not stack up against the good teams I don't see any reason why I would change in the playoffs I agree."
[1:10:42]" I don't think it will change so we have a couple of people China Meehan it's written questions her. Commenting on things that were sent raid that -- New Hampshire I don't know what website Steve is looking -- there's no manages Super Bowl of them patriots he so. It is ghost Julia how often we go to the site is a combo I don't -- side and then -- someone has given us the stats from the dolphins game that you were talking well. -- time. Now you all Bledsoe gave -- your Bledsoe had 421 in the air called eight for 161 it's OG had to be close. And we didn't fumble in the fourth quarter he may have gotten to wander on that play in the guy who made Bledsoe Carter seven for 61. That from -- well it and it was just a fan it can't pay pace not that was that was a."
[1:11:40]" Great -- was one of the most entertaining games I've ever watched. -- late in the game they were driving Tom they would they were trailing 3935 driving and you know but you know that deep seam pass two Benjamin Watson that they complete every -- while here well. They must complete about five times that day two coats and one of these came as the patriots are driving and he's in the clear -- between two guys -- through them and he's in the -- got -- from Ohio is one of those they stripped the ball out from behind I don't like Doug Gabriel this week they paid they got the ball out from behind in date. Fumbled the ball -- on the 20 yard line as they were going in to take the lead in the last two minutes -- That was game but he might have ended up even if if he would run all the way for the touchdown in in may have gotten I don't know -- it probably not 40 more yards and that platelet would have enclosed and they may have won the game."
[1:12:34]" So the obvious question is was -- benched."
[1:12:40]" Now focus on that catching -- 96 past -- James's disappointed in the coaching. I guys I -- leading many emails saying they're disappointed in the play of both the office of the fence I say that I am disappointed in the coaching just as much if not more. Yes the offense offense is the offense failed to get to take advantage of early opportunities to build a good lead in this game with the penalties and -- afridi at crucial times. They either ended up making them settle for pupils that a touchdowns but that the completely out of fuel -- even fail to take advantage of an early turnover by giving the ball right back for the jets I say these mistakes cost them at least 11 extra points. My question about the coaches why did they have Brady throwing the ball 37 times when they should have just pound the ball with billboards at the -- Was that suited for the type of conditions they had Sunday this was proven with seven to -- 11 carries for five yards or more in five of those welcome first downs. But that kind of success he could keep giving it to him until they prove they can stop it or when those. And -- then those few pass if you do throw would be a lot easier to complete."
[1:13:54]" But we talked about it and I think we both agree with James I think that was a day for Corey Dillon not necessarily saying the amount of odd team runs needed to increase very much by. Instead of 12 and 11 I would rather seen you know -- money for Dylan and three from Moroni I think there was a date for Corey -- he was he's a martyr and and he showed and I think he's writing with those stats. You know five of his 11 -- first downs whatever how many of an 88 of the 11 were for five yards or more that was a Dave -- and I would like to have seen him you know feed the beast given him more terrorists."
[1:14:29]" Well paid jobs as the Colombians -- to the other -- He says I'm still feeling down about the loss of the jets -- stop thinking about -- 50 plus yard run if Brody was of their would've been but it touchdown but -- can't please every baby this age -- Maybe change the whole game around. The president brought by -- could have been a touchdown by admiral thanks -- in Jacksonville so some people want you know -- guy but I just thought in that game. Bill was run it well he'll probably have that chip on the shoulder from the week to you know people talking about a woman. You know guys like Dylan. He's 33 now. He's only got a few good games left -- best -- it's that that's a fact that's not you know it's not my opinion it's that's just life that's that's what happens when he interred at age in this looked to be one of those games anything. You know I thought he should I thought he should carried the ball more now I would say that. You know probably if Moroni had a chance to carry the ball on that play he probably does go touched. -- but the fact of the matter is is Dylan was much more effective one -- in -- with the with the -- money -- Phil from Boston -- military rules slow on the draw. What's happening is these -- paying attention comparing this year's teams that attitude that come about so wasn't sure was next can it compare this year Steve's that a 2003 at 2004 I think the count level may not be as high but it's pretty close. And veterans some areas would areas there are those just a mysterious. I don't I don't think that brought a holding the problem is the players it's the coaches those 2003 at 2000 report the news at three future head coaches -- assistants in 84 if you count Jeff Davidson this year is coaching staff has not. Those that companies to open always -- Jeff Davidson is ahead."
[1:16:31]" Oh no I mean I think that that might beat -- he's based -- and the fact that -- he's descended to a coordinator -- already but how can you say that they don't have how do you know that -- deals in ten years won't be -- head coach candidate. Mean how do you know you know will be and I was actually a -- I've kind of to keep them Brian Cabell could very well -- head coach -- that that's that's unfair to say that they don't have any head coach mutual coaches."
[1:16:56]" Excuse me -- side. Com and all go right back to last year for an analogy would struggle last year patriots defense. Reports that bella typical for the deepens the play calling from the -- that was weak they'll for ten games last year in what happens if GD gets had bolted to New York so. You don't know you don't who's going to get hired win the trust me when you've got owners like Jerry Jones and giggles -- out there is -- goal was -- yeah."
[1:17:23]" Say this that the patriots continue to be successful going forward -- successful. I don't mean winning the Super Bowl three out every five years I mean constantly being in the playoffs in a playoff contention if they continue to do that members of this coaching staff will get head coaching jobs in the future."
[1:17:39]" Well -- goes on to say those teams that get out coached. They didn't beat themselves and they want more -- publisher of close games the players believe that there -- coaches will put together a good game plan to make adjustments during the game I think these players have lost confidence in their coaches especially the office -- coordinator. Who appears to be in way over his head I think bill -- Neither to arrogance or lack of foresight has neglected to put together coaching staff. That's capable of getting this team to play. At or near its capabilities bottom line -- team just isn't any fun to watt."
[1:18:27]" I do think that there has been some. Questionable game planning and I think the players. The reason I say that is the players have kind of called it out a little that I thought there was some rumblings Tom after the Indianapolis game we -- comments from Logan Mankins about running the ball we we looked like we were -- the ball better we sought comments this past week that we talked about with Seymour were able and Troy brown so with that in mind I do think that maybe there's a lack of confidence there and I also think this sudden you're very outspoken about at the time. They haven't really -- placed there's no question in 20032004 they were better in the coaching staff with. With with Weiss in Antrel note no doubt about that and they have a replacement Tom you pointed it out why didn't belichick gloating yet some guys to come in to replace those guys instead of worrying about. I system and when it all in house and I don't know why you can't go go out get a guy with a well the football experience and had him learn -- system if you want to keep you system."
[1:19:32]" Right I mean there's there's funny guys it seems like they hired guys in like five hours is. I understand -- promote from within but quite both in the process I'm sure bill -- lot of coaches a lot of coaches that are here. That are in college that are in the pros want to bring in some other guys -- meals he was he with -- ideas they had -- date maybe that works well for me I just. You know wanna. I am I see it in Dallas and I think it's the bully mentality I really do I think Parcells Abdullah -- like the boss people around. And while that may not be best for the team I think that's what they like simulate the -- people legally can bully could be we have some women who have GB of Houston Jamie what's going on."
[1:20:19]" up tell us it's. So -- Tuesday after another at this Sunday."
[1:20:23]" They are you a little more concerned this after this 1 -- I am."
[1:20:28]" You know guys that I've wanted to ask the smartest question to an extent you know it in in the face of a lot of what was the other -- appeared you know comedy intersection has has politics -- her you know. You know run this year how many you know missed tackles as peace"
[1:20:47]" I'm ready to touchdown passes that he -- won the super -- or actually."
[1:20:51]" Exactly that's you know -- ironic when you know we're on the women's side that they need your commentary from the players you know -- adult players units of the players -- place. You know when things were good and they felt that it too much credit was being -- adult chicken. And the coaches and then now now that. You know things -- so our players Serb you know there are out and you know that the -- common strategies you know I think -- kind of self serving little shallow but. Wondered -- is -- done its players make and placed two players excuse -- That really matters and the other just not -- Brady's -- display like crap and we can make excuses for mobile conditions they get new alignment and that helps them and that the there is some litigation there but he just been playing like crap alliance just hasn't protected them well you know proud and the other guys out there to stalwarts who have been there have continuity Evans stepped up either you know it's more than office. And they just budget that."
[1:21:51]" Well that's true I can't argue that any of IE you know I really -- in and I think Jamie's right and one thing is that the players have constantly said you know they're the coaches have put together solid game plans Boris. But you know takes the players to -- and execute him and he can't have it both ways and all of a sudden say well the game plan wasn't that good so we we shouldn't be made responsible for not going on executing as well."
[1:22:18]" It's because she could have a good player bad plan but the both failed miserably you don't excuse people"
[1:22:23]" I the only thing that I would say about this past gamers I think that'll I think too much attention is going to be put on how badly the patriots played. And I don't think I thought the patriots played poorly against Indianapolis -- week I don't think I'm about to land I don't think they played well enough to win this week but I don't think it was necessary because they were so bad I think the other team was better. And well and it and it takes credit I say better understand I don't think the jets are better I think it -- better on Sunday whereas against Indianapolis -- that the patriots and again."
[1:22:53]" Well NN also you know again more mitigation mitigating circumstances for patriots. -- Tibetan New York just come off the -- yes they did so they -- little bit more planning you know meant -- he was an you know he you know dead man who ordered --"
[1:23:09]" I have to do that I keep hearing this the Iowa the patriots have -- so everybody has by a -- cannot let it says he got they played so they haven't actually it I'd like that there's a company here on a three game road trip -- to call often complain about that. I don't get everybody in buffalo complaining the patriots were coming up their -- when the patriots pounded the Beatles I mean it's just that happens. -- you get I don't bad I would get an actually went into orbit that's -- probably double to play the patriots does that money help the patriots so I live and it doubles the work."
[1:23:46]" A look at what I'm saying I'm not much about it just say that that's you know that's support for the New York Jets -- the extra time the -- and I'm not saying that's unfair that's just the way it is. But -- just you know people -- you know you know make excuses for the patriots you know there could be some some point to that plus -- you know you know as the system -- he's not too far -- for the patriot system and you know he's -- and various parity you know people know each other stuff especially in the."
[1:24:13]" I -- that is it is more reason and the by we -- fact I think if you want to use the final week as a as a positive for the jets I would. Actually turn everybody uses a negative because I don't think a team to go into it by a week -- any more of -- down and suggested he'd --"
[1:24:28]" We want guys it was absolute but still they can get more focus they can get unfocused so they can get out be more focused on how are you going to say -- and they have what time to prepare for the."
[1:24:39]" coaches out there with losing records coming off a biweekly meeting Michael I want -- tickets are going to shake offered absolutely terrible called -- cost them a chance to tie -- Cleveland. -- my knowledge that's a tough tough way to go what you -- week you'll lose to a bad team on a bad call and you have to sit and stew about it for two weeks I think that that's at least you know outweighs or at least it kinda evens out any positives that you get for extra you know extra playing time well whatever."
[1:25:10]" I don't have we just got more -- playing -- let the -- he had not good coaches don't want to do this again. I'm not put a whole lot of credibility into an extra week but it's sick to me it certainly doesn't hurt it's only a positive in in in more regards -- was."
[1:25:23]" That no team whatever lose coming off a bye week. And it and I went and it's you know it's not coming off -- bye."
[1:25:28]" It's not a guarantee but it's it's certainly not a minus sodomized anybody's category that they're they're they're -- I don't."
[1:25:34]" I don't look at it as a plus either. I think it's irrelevant but that's my."
[1:25:38]" Yeah we're we're on Saturday and then just talk about Erica I thought I study into the game and that's that was and bad form for bill you know the way he -- he -- almost didn't want to shake his hand it's like kind of status and -- in real quick according -- away from Eric quick enough."
[1:25:55]" Yeah according to Eric I don't think he was going down the deployment chickens and aren't going to -- grabbed him by the forearm and animate object."
[1:26:02]" I don't know if that's made much news there isn't much bugaboo about better it's been discussed but -- you know I just think that's you know -- usually touts himself as professional. And does things right wing we'd like to think that he does the right things you know and the situations and you know I think him and -- at certain points you know they're just you know little to up on themselves to admit when they've been beaten had a bad days -- that I think -- work on that."
[1:26:28]" It's a good point Jamie and and also you don't want. Haven't had a lot you know it's easy to say that he usually does things in a certain way haven't had a lot of opportunities to do it and it any different way because they don't they don't lose very -- you know that's a very good point you bring up there."
[1:26:41]" And and it didn't you know good the champion is is better defined by the late he she deals with failure and bounces back and say it and you know and if that's an indication how they're going to you know experience and deal with you know failure on a protracted. Timeline doesn't farewell force."
[1:27:01]" It'll have to -- so it's not like I like scary what is a good point Patricia have -- they don't loops are all so we haven't seen me in the one thing I'll say though in the last two years Indianapolis Colts 22 and four New England Patriots 17 and ten. You know 17 intent isn't bad but this isn't the old 14 into 15 and one now I know I know what what I'm saying -- starting -- little more equality and is and it started to be I think you know -- acting. You started to see these things a little bit more often you know last year against the colts Tom Brady doesn't to a post game press conference this year against the jets -- Bill belichick almost you know disdains Eric Regina -- at midfield. You started to -- some examples as these lost piling up. I thought they handled themselves. Remarkably professionally in Denver last year when they got knocked out in the playoffs matter -- fact I wrote my whole post game analysis about it. Saying how. They walked off the field. They didn't point the -- so many items had against them in big games they didn't say they would have better team I know Dayton I know they felt they were the better team and they left the field that hidden but they didn't say that they -- they -- all the credit to Denver. And said that day. Played poorly they didn't take anything away from the Broncos. Other than that game now. I think you can kinda question how they've lost. The way they handled themselves out to woods and Jamie's right you know when you're used to winning all the time -- and things certain way maybe it's you know if it's an indication of how it's going to be in the future if they they don't always win maybe it's not a very good indication."
[1:28:42]" Well I'm Russell early Doucet is not happy. Early Doucet -- that he is not happy great to hear they're putting in the field turf it's about time anyone remember the original blue astro turf of -- or that green cement they had prior to returning to natural grass. All I do remember I don't remember any blue astroturf but I during Mehmet fields -- affection -- a -- was -- so why is the -- still be placed on the receivers they're not a great bunch true. But how is it their fault the Brady mrs. -- wide open and it's that throws at the Coleman or Graham wide open at three miles overs -- with the chancellor Brady has some sort of surgical procedure to was throwing arm. Or maybe since Bailey's in herself in the playoff -- the clock struck midnight and Tom. Is a sixth round pump -- Putting do you feel the dog house because he fumbled. Hey that -- I was fighting for extra yards and players are grumbling signs are not good. Is that there is -- paranoia to be -- keep up the good work of the show oh and did you guys really gets approval ratings or did you get the last real ones based on the website Asia. I didn't get up so that it I have a suitable and actually two. So he says the Gabriel played out with Paul I think it has more to do mouth while today with -- the."
[1:30:06]" It could just be one fumble by everybody at me that was the case Kevin fall within about three years ago -- I mean I always thought I was always -- assumption Wallace was that I played is that it -- isn't going to get on new. To that extent for a physical Wednesday. Yeah it's it's not required to fumble I mean he was he was go he was like trying for extra yards that popped -- it wasn't like it was a careless. Type of -- I watched the replay and it and I was -- maybe Judy Abbott on the inside an -- exposed to that -- and he didn't yet on the outside to great play by the jets defender to pop out from the -- and not be out of bounds it was incredible happens. Yeah I mean it. Tactic we've got a little too far with Tom Brady's turning into six -- it -- there's this is weird for me because like David here last year it despite them struggling last year. You couldn't get a person -- a bad thing about it if we if we criticized of last year actually got killed. Now of a year later fans that are called Brady Abbas -- while -- check replaced with rich eight alienated. I can't believe how quickly things turned around here do you feel about that Daniel Graham I mean he was open an affidavit that would take -- perfect -- he -- he had they -- he was underneath you would -- a threatening because there was a guy underneath and the guy over the top. And now I've seen -- make that throw and I speaking -- I think he was oh yes he missed him I don't think it was quite easy it was like -- Nell -- it was it wasn't quite easy completion I don't think once again -- and I think people are so used to seeing Brady make them grow our revenue quote early in a ten election I've seen greatness and Tom Brady's greatness. It and I -- Brady European beginning on -- it is okay a -- off but yet -- I'm certainly not I think he's a great quarterback although I would like to seal the game pretty soon he's not immediately that the in my opinion he's played one Tom Brady -- ammonium that was Minnesota. And as we found no a lot of people could do to Minnesota and subsequent weeks every quarter Pakistan the -- Josh -- from Arlington how much do you think -- will benefit from the installation of fuel -- considering his running style I doubt we'll have an impact would Dylan and the idea how fuel curve is in the snow -- very cold wet weather. It does get slippery and wet weather but it is a much better surface then. And natural grass would be late -- like that I think it'll benefit -- Moroni don't you always I don't I think he's."
[1:32:44]" More dangerous on turf I -- we saw that Cincinnati. So I think at -- effect till he's only going to be here for you know eight or games or whatever prostitutes knock on effect and much -- minority caller how -- anywhere maybe -- yet. So yet -- what I mean birtley I think will benefit quite today especially when you get a bad feel like it's been. Two out of the last three games here where you're -- that's not good for a guy like peroni who likes the cotton cut back and things of that nature Chris Kress is he's got two questions why do you think somebody -- players are speaking to the press about problems on both sides of the ball being now coached and also do you think. That -- check is -- personal life is having a negative effect his ability to coach the team. I would say no to the second."
[1:33:37]" I don't think that it can help the dollar doesn't know he's obviously dealing with some personal stuff that I don't think really you know -- bought tickets on appropriate way to we talk about it but it's personal stuff but I can't help. That's not can't help him during the course of the week you know -- you know it's like I -- with Tony dungy last year. Which is much more serious scale at dungy obviously it's you know EU can't possibly -- as -- if there are ours as extensively as you would you have something else on your mind it's the it's inevitable. Now as far as why the players are calling an out pattern you got to ask them why they decided it would they say we don't simply aren't they why -- to -- tell us. You know we're not completely went on complaining apparent that you know sometimes they give us a glimpse is actually what's going on in the heads."
[1:34:28]" Okay -- from Hanson. A -- great show. I think we're very lucky to have bills -- coach would that said. He -- come across this petty juvenile of professional the way he has handled -- edgy situation. I don't know what promises -- he might have made relative reported that the jets' offer -- in no way excuses bills but behavior -- bill here's my question does anyone know ballots that contract status he has looked pretty worn well. Even and even after victories doesn't appear as quote unquote be. That's in the past could retirement -- near future I know what upbeat means football you can handle it."
[1:35:08]" I've ever seen a -- by. I will say that. Based on the letter of what we know his contract is set to expire at the end of this season as he signed a five year deal a two year extension however it is. Our assumption because the last time he signed an extension we didn't find out about it until full year after the fact. It is our assumption that belichick is under contract beyond this season we do not know how long we don't even know that for absolute certain. But that's that that is I don't think he's going anywhere so owned by I also don't think he's going to be here say more than you know they -- ten years now I don't think he's here but apparently. Well five years from now much news here."
[1:35:52]" I don't know either way believe it I'll say this that he's on the fence I think that China trip pushes the ball I didn't do you know what time you might be right a joke about it but that might be the kind of thing you know what my heart's just not into it and I'm not make an instrument right. You know of course obviously in the same thing. You know on the fence between -- sanitation department job -- you'd never know the next 90 stopping gig as a comedian tocchet but it didn't give it -- markets"
[1:36:21]" James from Roanoke rapids North Carolina when the season started everyone was saying the other the patriots the AFC east was not strong this year maybe what it started it was not but as the season goes as the season goes on estate dispute be proven wrong with the jets bills and dolphins beat good teams. And the jets and with the bills -- Are wondering and the jets and built the -- right down that he had only lost by 31 points respectively. The patriots better start about it is that the costs -- the patriots better start playing and -- much better or they may now wind but the reader for our remaining games in BM yet to this in the playoffs even though we thought it was a lot for the patriots to win the division. Also have you seen but he does not view the colts have been this year he's looking scheduled on the stretch -- not seem that easy now -- how well that would those teams are playing welcome could only. And so are looked. Get back if you out of playing batted every game they lose they may lose -- real seven games remaining. If they -- allocated last Sunday have a great day game ball court that gave the cold the patriots playoff contention because it it'll -- six last seven games."
[1:37:39]" The colts I think carotene that's capable of losing to anyone because they can't stop the run via now I also think that that game on Sunday against the bills. They they should've won -- a lot more than they did they actually played the way the patriots played against and the week before only they found a way to win the game. Mean they had long drives they turned the ball over on it -- of the bill score enough -- long fumble return or return for a touchdown by -- Mickey yes they got a little break when Lindell missed a field goal against them. But after that there was still six and a half minutes left and the bills couldn't get the ball back as the -- is -- write down their throat and they would have scored on that drive that they'd have to -- if they've been -- on the balls to run out the clock."
[1:38:22]" And Fred Kirsch being a play by play man that he is yet so says -- to -- also lost out a last second the altar and bad and I but I says possessing six minutes. I let the game but he would have and I sale by the way it was exported in the game when on the -- missed the field goal. And then in -- of the the calls a cauldron navigate the ball back I -- I thought I'd replay it must is that 44 and I just wasn't seen it right so the next time I would up the TV is that this is 644. Here that's structures made of what they want war we'll take our final break -- it seems that several ratings -- receptions last two weeks or tip up the hands of receiver then caught by the opponents secondary. I'm wondering if that's just bad marketers or something Brady with a receivers should have done differently on the -- one of his interceptions on Sunday it was a -- count the one that was called back. -- you know because -- me in -- and the one that actually counted went to Eric Coleman knocked him. It is obviously the receivers who have caught the ball I'm wondering if there is some type of it and placed it receivers to use so that in case they go the ball bounces down not regard school"
[1:39:37]" Iowa I would -- to -- Kevin Faulk interceptions the only one really that I would put an -- category. The the one that and the and that ended the colts game he threw it to Kevin fox hands and actually we talked to some quarterbacks who told us. You shouldn't throw the ball high over the middle to a running back like that you should throw it you're aiming for its chest not not above the shoulders and the fact that far catch a -- that's what's going to go but the other -- weren't like that they weren't mean it would that balsa -- deflected a ball was deflected by a colts. And the one that Watson Watson had only could do to get a fingernail on the other one that was deflected. But I'm as big a Brady defenders there is -- Brady has played well in the interceptions in his throwing very uncharacteristic of him -- out of his fault not the not only not the receivers. Okay it was that will take a break we'll be right back."

[1:44:37]" All right we're back PFW progress the value of all through all web radio patriots that our web radio patriots that we -- more emails here let's try to plow through these before -- disgruntled. John -- joins us at longhorns had everything set up forum and they came up short at Kansas State I'm sure you'll not be a good mood today -- that will be here of -- alia Maria that's what we do. Shannon he says that hey guys kiss my ass and edited out what is intended Freddie Brady bashing patriot fans the might be out there okay two headlines of articles from back east. I saw were Brady throws another clunker in Brady's magic missing in laws Tom Brady is not the blame for the death loss on Sunday and his magic. Sure is that -- giving the guy more than half a second degree -- the football already we probably would have seen another patriot win but likely ample size of the walls terrific Brady was getting -- of pressure all game long -- he was the -- after the game. I'm sorry to hear that -- brokers late which has to suck the layup gave real already he is -- year's average but that do definitely needs Erica he looks like a beast -- from Xena princess warriors of today it. I -- they got outplayed on both lines on. And that's an accurate assessment. Yeah I I do to you know we said wolf group has -- one of his better games I -- was of course didn't matter who have for those of you -- us who were depressed by accident you know we got the actives nights off I Warren's name on the -- is obviously the biggest neighbor has had a friend who -- easy -- walker -- of playing and Iraqi friend Kurt says it doesn't matter they don't -- the villa."
[1:46:28]" A subway project had a game plan together evidently wouldn't -- pedestals we still had you know Mike -- and you know out there instead of Seymour warm because that's just Normal rotation right so. You know obviously I'm being facetious as a significant injury I wore an especially against the run -- very good against the -- Chad hey guys cute bit of the show its good to hear radio -- not always QC BS of the team they cover anyways I know you all thought we were supposed to would -- wait -- I'm guilty of this I thought they were going to win in Wendy's is I know you all vote supposed to with a game on Sunday and that is why on the site is as patriots admitted to versus Packers I -- for the that is not correct ought to get that first of all the Packers are pretty good five at four -- their work I think. So though those are two extra -- there the next question back with the team let's say the patriots -- I don't know that this is go to let's say the patriots are in the red -- a 15 yard line that deepens that the penalty for 50 yards it's called half the distance local efforts down. But if the office was to get any penalty is marked its -- back -- the total -- penalty why is only half that distance via -- indeed driven backwards thank you guys."
[1:47:53]" If they got a 15 yard penalty backwards it would have been half the distance of the goal."
[1:47:58]" If they're on their own 15 yard line insane. In the go the other way if you're on your own 15 yard line you call for personal file 15 yard penalty on offense yet it goes half that this is the -- doesn't go to the one yard line right where he saved if you get it the other way. It goes back 50 yards. I don't -- I don't always -- since the -- know what he's talk off route through a deep sense depending on which go on to close -- but I think he's saying if -- in the 15 go when he had. You're the offense that you get the penalty go back to port the 30 that's the rule. You know I don't exactly say the only time it's happened -- their goal is if it goes toward the goal line -- in a 20 yard line. Right he's saying if you're on -- Sarah 14 and a 15 yard penalty is half the distance but if you take the penalty you go back to -- that's 29 that's the -- right he's wondering why."
[1:48:54]" the critics you don't just give the team a touchdown or safety whoever they -- maybe this is true Sean he says although I will say this on if -- 16 yard -- you get a 15 yard penalty that the -- go to the one yard line. If there's enough yardage to mark off the penalty before you get into the galactic to go to -- the one yard line. -- I don't think it should be half the distance that go I think it should be whatever it is."
[1:49:21]" Okay John says I get it coaching coaching coaching but don't blame bill the reason for the past losses of its always on -- coaching staff from the quarterback coach down a special teams coach. But what I concede relative speed -- GD is the fact that he lost the best coat on his staff to the division rival. Jackson now have to put his faith in -- current coaching staffs little label on the players but what I saw Sunday was the new -- playing the old pants. As lives on Sunday it was the new jets you know -- rejected Sunday with -- statement apaches to do to -- man than Dick Nixon a little offense speaking in -- all over the field. It's about time the -- wake up and start watching films of the old patriots. While an elder at a breakout Charlie Weis is old playbook the risks the trick stuff that things like that. In close I want to agree would literally MP FW if a guy's hot he's not so he beat."
[1:50:21]" Yeah -- said that and I agree. Or should have gotten more terrorism that's the one -- I agree with with the coach stuff the rest of it it has been overblown a little bit by. I do think it -- could have gotten more carries in Moroni last not necessarily more team run by the distribution I think it changed a little bit. Now -- last year but it Weiner -- Eric mean genie out of town -- fans were so badly that patriot and I heard all this talk about dean -- you know he was more of a veteran. Defensive coordinator -- had more respect from the players made they liked the way his style battery now all of a sudden he was the best the best coach and that's staff last year in the miss them I don't know exposed. It's when he tornado side insulated -- bill he put the staff together it's at this office its. That's the -- thing about the patriots is not say it's not a democracy not dictatorship run by bill belichick and if if there's going to be credit or blame that's -- falls exactly"
[1:51:18]" James again from Roanoke rapids North Carolina I have a quick question do you think the coaches tendencies to not stick with the -- even when it's working is resolved ray's reputation of being that big game quarterback. They're hoping you'll finally start playing what he has in the past how -- you explain the fact. After a big run in a first down they start passing -- go back to the run."
[1:51:42]" Well I like I said I think there's always times you can question these -- calls and I think we're right to a -- that's as a fan I think you have every right to wonder why you play it was called in bill. Has often told me in the past -- that you know when it comes to question a football decision. Absolutely that's fair game with bill he has it has no problem with that. But I don't know all the reasoning why he would I don't think that he doesn't run the ball because he thinks that's working but expecting -- you can't just run the ball you need to pass the ball to score points in this league for for it -- in general. And I suspect it's very easy disappearance hit and run enough I don't think that's. They have more problems -- play calling I think by yet they definitely gains is right though that's that's the majority opinion is that they haven't run the ball enough the last two weeks."
[1:52:35]" my eyes on LP GA -- a rally is two did he says hey guys interview talking about the way the patriots take -- I don't want to help people with the -- well. But when it comes to be personally I don't care of he'd be shakes her hands of Tom Brady speaks at a press conference well -- Tom Brady. Is supposed to beat about but fans don't care about that stuff but they missed the point is well it's not has does have anything to do it. With aiding the media's job it has to do with showing in -- spot to be a first class organization when you do those things Judy you know first class and how many times that Peyton -- the press after the is much if you hate -- in the ending when he loses he comes out and he faces the the media in the -- on it every time so if you're going to lose that many times 21 -- even if you're able to do it if you lose once you should also be able to do my opinion he says nobody knows the full story shall be a good loser emotional you'll loser. We are rooting for the guys -- well we're getting arrested for terrible. Offenses like spousal abuse who like -- my team as a personality flaw or holds a grudge. Too long the only way I cared that would affect the team on the field if not as fans we have been conditioned to -- for the uniform that's true but we don't hope it's affecting the play on the field and he says that I hear John -- laughing. Hey Tom hello John -- the hospital waiting for those over -- the big 12 championship if -- happens to make it poll published oh it'll be embarrassed in later -- assists and -- I don't chair I think it's broken John only have one question for a how's the Texas basketball team look at this year at all. Thanks they had you know he can't get it mapped out any better for you my friend everything happens -- you needed this it is actually mean you know it's pretty easy to see built -- one. -- Cohen was actually looked at more valuable to a team than you know most people August bought one or two Texas secondaries vastly all right man. I -- Aron -- shall at all he was he was pathetic and glitzy."
[1:54:42]" I believe."
[1:54:43]" Pretty much. On the -- music is a little bit conservative complaint against you know the -- he's allowing his defensive back to come up. Play in the line -- there was -- peak in the backfield and then there's the one over the via those for wide open the running game may does not consistent with -- at all mean eligible Charles should be to want to get the -- most the time so you know what can he says they had it. There was that three minute span of the third quarter. They had the -- were down by seven halftime it was 21 point one after the scored open the second half -- the football left Korea after a turn over the football inside the 30 heartland case state. And -- fumbled the ball and I started 21 straight points in three minutes and six seconds for Kansas State game will I want to ask you this didn't -- game obviously life. But kind of following and I know McCoy went out early. The other after the first drive of the game now -- that to wonder why noted that in case they've blocked a punt for one of those touchdowns on the blocked punt and it led to a touched it may turn it over a lot. With a backup quarterback in no I missed my question is. They scored 42 oh I'm part of all cold walkways absence I don't know what I don't know it was not -- I mean I'm like is said the secretary was terrific. I mean I you know the -- Freeman I think it's going to be very very physically talented quarterback -- the judge -- him he's good guy that we're going to have to watch and we may be talking about an NFL films -- three years he's got that you know Daunte Culpepper style bodies -- big he's fast he's mobile he's got a lot of things go on form but you know there's no way that he should have thrown over the top of the Texas second I mean people talk of butter and Ross being you know potentially the Jim Thorpe award winner and I like we're or I agree with -- I watch -- play I just. I don't know ordered it from I don't mean I agree of the Texas secretary is very physical but -- got to cover it's one thing day. Yeah but when you hit you gotta wrap up they've actually a better job of that than they did on Saturday night but yet got to cover I mean you -- at least going to be with the guy I mean they got soccer did you see the sacrament to option pass yet. Of pleased fool me once housed the -- you know -- understand that's that was a joke I'd turn it -- that. Afternoon and I -- today I can't blame -- you -- senate right Tonya had all of -- he had starting -- Thursday when they'd be number -- louima was behind him. Calculus behind them Auburn goes behind night and bright almost -- which I called on what did not call at Florida should've gone. What part of Florida are underlining I want the -- and morally I'll play absolutely I don't know a lot of -- going to win it initially what gives me that's. Did you -- replayed 55 yard field -- not the way they know -- the clock had not gone to zero and they snapped the ball I cannot believe I don't know -- ability to -- it was I thought it was pretty -- simultaneous problems going to heaven and terrorism on the sideline but I cannot believe some there was no argument over this and no talk about it afterwards apparently -- something it was not review a guy should -- review a -- it was a job over that it's not calling -- affairs that you thought was -- parents. The clock either goes to zero art doesn't. If it's not clear you're wrong it's no judgment. I'm not a judgment call I don't disagree but they talked all for a fishes and having an impact on the game it did it was huge huge impact on the of course Brian -- was still doesn't think he made the -- Well -- matters though so John would be while we lost it last anonymous into that whole game -- identifying whether it passes were complete -- not calling a pass intercepted when he hits the ground I mean there's no one man guy dice for the ball. Unbelievable -- the -- new laden played it. Thank you rant over RB habit genre and NBC as CBS so what do you think about -- over rated long -- Oscars is over the law. -- that -- relatively neutral -- as opposed -- Lincoln, -- Los -- in Kansas -- so -- my -- protection -- Plays like they did against him Josh Freeman yeah Nebraska wins I don't disagree with that that's that's a crying shame actually because Texas has tremendous moment I'll still do and I do believe both local McCoy has done -- You know please correct me if you feel the need to hear but I do believe before he is through it Texas Texas will make in the run international -- is there -- still stock -- the best recruiter in the country's low so they'll build up we make it on the wrong. Or -- are we also -- her -- today what's up with her for everything -- they're being -- well I realize I -- all the stuff going on -- but you know so what did happen to this proposed rule that you couldn't do this -- no such -- according to the program. So that being said doesn't take a while for the new -- the like if he's itself to the surface. Apparently takes a week well yeah I guess probably that auto I don't smoke two weeks and yeah I just I find it. Unusual that they would do this in mid season that they would just do the stopgap measure keep replacing the turf they would not have done -- because after the game on Sunday -- I mean it was just horrible again we said that first thing you could see it. Deteriorating as the game was don't like there must be a fundamental flaw in the way that field was constructed. For the turf between the hash marks to continue to take the pounding because that her. Obviously which is put in maybe it didn't catch but it certainly wasn't victim too numerous athletic events in numerous concerts like the previous turf war. You know -- I'm -- How to do this in and I wondered you know bigger picture how this affects -- potential of the revolution. In or any of the and you know so called you can play world class events that are held revolution complained yeah molest I think it they're making team USA and Somalia federal you know these people. I was thinking yeah. So people has approved they haven't done it I guess yet okay. I didn't I don't -- expert but that's what I've been told I don't know that particular as well all I knew was that that they were reluctant to do it simply because of the soc world aspect of it and because of the World Cup impatient because obviously any time -- on the vote national team event happens. They come to Foxboro Foxborough is like team USA's you know 1 of their central homes to play international matches in this country and so on they can while she you know that's islamists. Let's company and I suppose it's -- but I mean that kind of that kind of -- that out of the equation not that it matters at all for two weeks from now so we've litigated we can't Ottawa so why you have asked wool but from -- we that pencil -- geek Brian Slocum about. I suppose that's going to be open notes oh right well we got we had a TV showed -- do our job is never done but I -- equity it to our old Java next"
