They were pretty and all the teams that are an. Let's and that the latest from the patriots team before they head out for a couple of days of rest and relaxation. Sit back and watch some football this weekend. First of it started with the news and notes."

The ravens and falcons had sought permission to interview him from the patriots on Thursday late Thursday. He submitted statements saying he is not going to be part of that process. As of right now we can probably take that mean that he won't be in the running for these positions. This coaching season and he'll probably be back next year but Bill Belichick on Friday and in the past has said he's a good coach with great future he's only 31 he could still be coordinator for a couple more years and you have to figure if you keep going on the -- going in the team keep doing as well it went. That he will get mora had coaching. Possibilities and and and interviews in in upcoming years right Casey plants coming up starting this weekend. What do you expect to see and more importantly what patriots hoping to see well in the two AFC playoff games this weekend kind of interesting to me from my perspective it seems like each game as one team that's kind of hitting its peak at the right time and other teams sort of on the on the -- guess would Jacksonville and Pittsburgh. On Pittsburgh. Several injuries on the offensive line Willie parker went out a couple weeks ago they have beaten up playoff team since week five only one. Win over a playoff team this year they're not peaking at the right time they're hosting Jacksonville right now Jackson bulls team that has a great running game it's play smart. Solid office for plotting -- to win that game and I do think there and coming here to Foxborough because in the Tennessee San Diego game. I think San Diego Windsor but I think it's a tough game I think tennis is going to and he put up a fight but nothing illegal leads the league in takeaways Tennessee is also hurting right now they have some injury problems San Diego -- 16 or seven in a row. -- San Diego ultimately wins I think Jacksonville wins Jacksonville comes here. And San Diego and that's a good match I think thanks for the patriots well I do believe you have to figure for the patriots Tennessee is that the and they want to see because I think Tennessee's the weakest team. If Tennessee can pull off the upset against San Diego I think that the best case scenario if your patriots fans on but I I think Jacksonville Pittsburgh sort of comparable as far as. The level opponents so got to -- as the next week."

[5:12]" Welcome back patriots today -- minister -- now I'll offensive lineman -- I think they can think you can answer much have you had time to reflect events going on -- really we we've celebrated may be there to now Anderson and was a bit of -- relief at all that the very easily done always you know it's always nice when he knows there isn't behind -- in the playoffs and and big challenge coming -- Certain next week and on you know. And we all started zero zero and we move forward -- and a hard not hard but is that something that. Take an adjustment put this behind nearly closed great -- over with moving on. And I don't think community and the attitude changes -- You know that fire burn little hotter now on and you know we need to go out and prepare hard week to week. And that and dated game practiced practiced because all we can we're about a -- Home field advantage speaking and that cat had to be here it'd be at home is always nice you know on the plane on your own stadium -- crowd behind him. And things like that makes a big difference you know not that as an office when we ought to -- maybe as much so yes that's an added bonus."

[14:07]" We'll start right off of Tennessee Titans. You know I think the titans -- engaged -- team I'm not sure they're quite ready to be on this stage yet Vince young still developing as a quarterback but a couple of reasons to be concerned about what titans went to the table first and foremost in my mind Jeff -- I think. He's an excellent football. I think he gets his team prepared I think to play hard they played physical and they will not give you -- So I think if you will have his team prepared to play the patriots if indeed they get that far. However defensively they might have what you need they have Albert Haynesworth up front having a monster you possibly defensive player of the year. Kind of season that he fought as a linebacker is big time playmaker but. Really kind of stops there offensively they're very challenged. I don't think young throws the ball -- enough sophistication really -- the patriots I think that's the area that you need to attack the New England is that secondary. And I'm not sure youngest capable of making those those they have a decent running attack with Lendale white and Chris brown. I know little Chris Henry thrown in there but. You can't run the ball down the patriots -- if you can't throw pitches so I don't think they have the compliment his game offensively and defensively really good. Moving on to everybody's flavor of the month the Jacksonville Jaguars don't we always seem to hear about this team. As being the move toward the prototype to give the patriots travel with that physical the events -- that pounding running game. I'm not buying I think if it Jacksonville Jaguars. Good solid sound football team however I just don't think they match up very well with the patriots they can run the ball with Maurice Jones drew and Fred Taylor I think they're both excellent runners. David Gerrard had a tremendous season he's avoided mistakes he's made some plays. I just don't think they're capable of making the big plays in the passing game I think rather than let him throw the ball forty times and managed in the way they've done all year. Jack Del Rio is going to happen happen 'til the -- more like thirtieth 35 times. And if that happens I guarantee you he'll make some mistakes defensively taxable apply they have the big guys up front I just think the patriots would spread them out. And take advantage of his speed engine and I think that Jackson those differences big and physical no doubt. I think if they get spread out Rashean Mathis as a solid quarterback but. I don't think that's a whole lot else fact that I think the patriots find a way to pull the ball Jacksonville and that's how they would get. First up it's pointless to me."

[16:27]" Pittsburgh Jacksonville they're going to play you know I'm not sure which which teams better I think -- very similar to be honest with electing to bowl. Want to run the ball and limit the amount of throws the quarterback just to make -- want to play good sound defense and I think when they're going well full teams to -- I think the difference here -- people in the nation of seeing what happens when the patriots since it was a on the field together. And it wasn't really pretty in the second half Pittsburgh. No -- has -- after Jacksonville's like make everybody is giving Jacksonville. The biggest I think that Pittsburgh without Willie parker doesn't have a big element of what they want to do offensively and want to. Put the game in the running games hands it was a lot different if he plays downfield. I think without parker and you -- ninety Davenport to carry the load. I think really asking for trouble because Roethlisberger now this is probably like we simply Iraq's gonna have to throw the ball. You know 3540 times I think he's actually -- dropped further as a very good quarterback. -- pose problems. I don't think that Pittsburgh decent however I don't think they keep the points down enough. For the Steelers to match point what that's like your feet. This is a funny San Diego Chargers really hard to predict because one thing could happen in this game that would that would worries -- that would be. The -- players band together and say you know what. Don't want about the -- don't -- about the game plan don't want above all that other stuff off of the side. We have ability we can go out on the field we can make plays and we can cause problems with. Because they can't they have. Enough talent. To go onto the field with the patriots and play competitive game offensively San Diego portable -- offensively this thing to be concerned about is they force a ton of eternal. I don't really like defects that kind of predicated on forcing turnovers because it's a tenuous existence if you don't get them and how do you come up with a stops however. Is always that chance they keep that magic running into the playoffs and it just was -- of what turnovers San Diego can be dangerous however you can't ignore coaching. Bill Belichick. Norv Turner is way down your off camera no comparison huge hit for the patriots that's why they would beat India."

[18:34]" Finally we council team to Indianapolis Colts but I actually think. As a -- and I really do I don't want to use the word I scared because I'm not scared and his patriots the -- but. The colts but in my opinion the only team that took the patriots shot. Give a shot back I thought -- fault those teams played well acting on November in Indianapolis I don't think it neither team played its best game. However I thought they both played well in it was a dead even bought it I want this this match I hope we get in the AFC championship game. However I -- the patriots at home have an edge it is so good that nineteen you know what's within their grasp and not going to let slip away however. Do not ignore the Indianapolis school. [19:41]" what Christina Laurence Maroney is coming off the best three game performance of his young career he had solid to spectacular outing against the jets and dolphins in giants and the best part is they all came in different styles. First you workman like grind it out four yards per carry average against the jets then an explosive career high yardage came against the dolphins and then last week against the giants. Two touchdowns inside the ten yard line. Two point conversion life as well he's running out of five point two -- for Perry played over the last three weeks now it's hard to say exactly how important. Maroney performance will be for the patriots post season one after all the pats won sixteen notice you're an antenna goes -- didn't play at all or have less than fifty yards rushing. Is the overall play of the cats running game and the offensive line -- just Maroney. But it truly is playing like a number one running back is at his peak is fresh after not having a huge workload all year. Thank you specifically one well inside the red zone and at the goal line. Don't be huge for the patriots post season. I guess story this week if these last three games have been the best stretch of his career he downplayed it didn't want to commit the bags and we didn't know. But Tom Brady has said recently that Maroney December performance could be huge for his confidence which in turn could be huge for the pats post season success. And -- he can do it like he didn't December in different styles that's all the more important. Time now to sit back relax and enjoy some playoff football that's -- the pats will be doing this weekend as for other AFC playoff teams. Battle it out in a physical way -- wild card weekend.
