Play from 0:16[0:16]" patriots today. Forget you all ready to go for the patriots playoff game this Saturday. We've got what to watch her from the jags the patriots and of course the weather in Foxborough now. Welcome to Toyota's patriots today. -- side that Toyota tundra. Everybody welcome patriots today I'm -- Afro or raping the week up here running rainy Friday in Foxboro one last look at the jags we've got several takes on the game today to let you know what too much for this weekend. Including a breakdown of the jags special teams cut about Jack Wright got the news and notes -- things start."

Play from 0:59[0:59]" In Jacksonville sure thirteen year history is the fourth time they'll have to face -- the playoffs. Patriots are six and one overall -- the jags in 211 in playoff match -- First they thought was the AFC championship game on the 1986 easy and it. -- 820 to six patriots injury July 18 is that Bill Parcells Drew Bledsoe and the patriots in the super ball. The second a wild card game in January of 1999 in Jacksonville the only victory for the jags. In the third just two years ago a wild card matchup at Foxboro with a patriots winning 23. After week of starting from scratch the only -- the patriots are carrying over from the sixteen you know record is there one game season mentality. The great way to prepare for the playoffs. Coming up Ellis Hobbs will be and -- more on the patriots approach to Saturday's match."

Play from 1:55[1:55]" Pilot joining me in the studio now what we haven't."

Play from 1:58[1:58]" Really covered is the special teams and actually start to details Hobbs will be an -- objects breakdown Jackson's teams as -- the team's current course of the week. They don't win for us to convert pages -- we -- your right Europe so what can we expect well it's interesting Ellis Hobbs has always been one of the top kickoff return meters in the league this year and Maurice Jones drew is as well and we saw. The play he had last week he has Pittsburgh autographed Pittsburgh scores opening game he goes on 96 year run almost news touchdown. So watching those two guys and seen how teams are able to come back off of you know opposing teams touchdown. Field position game as always is but I think with these two guys we're talking about that aspect of the game these two guys that can be date. Hatred coverages they have done really well all year the be challenged this week but I think that would definitely be in that field position with Hobbs and Jones drew will be key element that's ours ours and it's where it's Saturday and time again -- He got to travel I excite yeah I agree to be at home I think everybody that would you assassinate earlier in the week the food is better served great -- any other home the home field advantages six hours talking about the food so hopefully doesn't -- through. Too soon before game -- supplement yet but sure I'm happy to be now the whole prime time thing if there's one team that's been used to playing prime -- failure if the patriots they put the maximum they played six of them. Including you know just about all of the month of died December -- I don't think they necessarily like it I think in a long day tomorrow just kinda. Again you -- kinda here. But on the other side they are used to it and and so I think you know that that should be too much accurate obviously you know that rested so be they'll be ready to play in. Like cents on the -- farm yeah I'm done I'm I'm ready for your for your for."

Play from 3:47[3:47]" Yeah I'm excited and expect it I think it's an I'm -- for it yeah we'll see what happened on. Let everybody know after right ours and due to a short break on the patriots --"

Play from 4:11[4:11]" The full -- Toyota tundra. Truck such changing you know hall."

Play from 4:19[4:19]" And that's patriots and you and -- cornerback Ellis since coming and bred to be here very with the bye week -- everything seemed like regular seasons along them."

Play from 4:29[4:29]" Not just things that we -- good risk that's all it is you know we are did northern regular season you know feel good about yourself and you know pastimes playing --"

Play from 4:38[4:38]" It was a physical rest -- it also a mental rest in the sense most definitely know when you get to this part of the season."

Play from 4:43[4:43]" You -- you -- them by doing the season that some -- you get to that wall in five. You know -- and now at the end of the season to have such season due out there. No did you just taking risk you can kind of get this thing breath in you ready for the drought in the playoffs."

Play from 5:00[5:00]" You may come early this week about how your whole entire season has been. A one game mentality that's only focused on was that the preparation for the way I mean for playoffs."

Play from 5:09[5:09]" Malevolent because if you look at the playoffs is it one game season you know you have to go into the game understand and then -- this could be -- last week. Playing so everything you do has to be focused and on that one game -- some in the offseason."

Play from 5:22[5:22]" Focus in on one game. And it because it is playoffs is there -- higher level of intensity the way you are out there you know running faster hitting harder and that kind of talking though you just on this."

Play from 5:31[5:31]" And you know what what type of game is -- You know understand that you have to -- that that one play couldn't play even make this season successful have become a disaster -- not necessarily the intensity is turned of anything the more sense of urgency. No no room for error also -- exactly know -- and one play could change the whole season posits that positively and negatively."

Play from 5:59[5:59]" As far as the jags and -- keeps. Pounding in how they are big and physical he decides even become much more of a challenge is that a factor."

Play from 6:09[6:09]" You uses understand what's have a team and isn't with a ton of new obviously yet they are vivid scene. This in them it is not the first time it's been no word we're we're pretty physical on this office on the and special teams that I think. Gonzales on that would physical sometimes we go out day in and -- that but for the most part we've -- Good number. You can -- this is one of the game you have to go out there and just hit him in the -- I didn't. But -- for all season his -- what is what you know we're gonna say he guided the fact is that he would. Yeah in the playoffs is a one game season everybody's ohno who is going to come out on top. Okay let let it thanks for coming and not a problem."

Play from 6:51[6:51]" We're sending you to coach Bill Belichick now."

Play from 7:02[7:02]" Everybody -- Bill Belichick had to take a special look at the Jacksonville Jaguars to the way coach. Well one of the things Jacksonville does very well as excuse in the kicking game and -- good return game with Jones drew on kickoffs and Northcutt on ponson. And a very good coverage team you know we saw a long -- against Pittsburgh but I thought 96 or the other night was the first time this is a a good wedge team name."

Play from 7:27[7:27]" They're very physical come -- kind of space there -- here on this return Jones drew right here behind the way it worked and outfield and you know leave the kick from block island almost. Much competition for him to get this repetition still and he really did -- my best returner. In in that draft two years ago -- Maroney and they did a good job. Our coverage teams there they're very physical. See here on the on day they -- snapped again at all with before Pittsburgh ready to go all out there. And -- think it's really helped them on is this their coverage teams and the kind of field position but they're beat -- on here there. -- the -- on 78 era line I think tank down there along with. Our effort fast. Cover well. And 92 yards that you see is tested -- frustration Pittsburgh and you get more out along -- and there's no return. Kickoff coverage same thanks they're they're very physical discipline is kind of watch the whole coverage unit here and how I'm nicely space they are across the board everybody's got good leverage and their plane literally. I don't know where for a for the return set up product comes back here at the back and those two of the top guys right there and hang in. He will be moved. If that counts is if you like. But we'll put a marching band coming up all of this have on the stand in line knowing thrifts don't residue somebody else's job right there and are all there. Same -- here against Tennessee. Real good -- kickoff coverage very disciplined. Owens -- kidded they've got a good core group of guys and you know right here they they all -- the same way they'll think he'd nice lane discipline. And I think you're right they're making the tackle here and then -- off the back side. And there's a runner get blown up inside the forty yard line for four guys make an impact on -- that's."

Play from 9:29[9:29]" You know that's great coverage with the defense on long field and in return games that's a good field position for the off on so. That's a lot of hidden yardage or by Jacksonville in the kicking game that I can make is that on the whole all night long if not careful you know we we don't want to be nine years -- every time we get a that's for sure and -- thank you very much -- postal ballots equity special look at the Jacksonville Jaguars."

Play from 10:05[10:05]" The full -- Toyota tundra. Truck that's changing at all."

Play from 10:13[10:13]" Yeah -- wrap up on what to watch forefront Jacksonville on Saturday here's Paul Perillo with five points."

Play from 10:26[10:26]" Really could make this point one. What I really think it is. Jacksonville's ability to what that's what they want to do that -- predicated on David -- doesn't make a lot of mistakes but. He's much better when it was and the ball went Taylor we've gone through and be able to get the ball downfield -- Pretty conservative group now. If they're able to do that and really keep the patriots offense off the field for a time if you like to possess the ball I think they average about 3230 minutes. Time of possession they can do that they can limit the possessions a little bit I think they can be competitive however. We -- know what the patriots like to do defensively under Bill Belichick and that is. They're going to identify the one thing that you do best and it basically going to take that away so. It's going to be kind of contrast of styles Jacksonville is very physical they want to run the football whereas the patriots have had trouble at times. Stopping the run in particular tackle so. If the patriots can do what they have done in the past taking away that number one option I think that's a big edge in knowing. We know garage pretty effective with the football doesn't make a lot of mistakes and so a lot of interceptions and only have we all season however. Last week when that jags running game wasn't there we saw what happened right press a little bit. And made at least one really bad and perception I thought later in the fourth quarter worried by the fourth one downfield a long yard situations that that the patriots are going to be looking to do. They want to get Jacksonville third longest. One -- the game David drives him. He's a good quarterback. However he's never been here in this kind of spot. In the playoffs he's never really had a team on his shoulder is doing what he's being asked to do in 2007 I don't think he's capable of doing it. I think the patriots are going to want to make Jacksonville one dimensional and if they can do that I didn't really like their chances because I just don't think arrived. Capable of making enough big plays downfield to personally. What -- over the other side of the ball I think utility for the patriots offensive line to do with it basically done. Pretty well all season keep Tom Brady up right. Mobile in that pocket the way he always is if they can protect him -- at Jacksonville but the way. I really look at patriots have huge edge of passenger. Jacksonville doesn't with a whole lot they are physical up front here a lot of book that's offensive line. I used to always be John Henderson and Marcus Stroud while throughout definitely out is on -- R Henderson these kind of if -- with a hamstring problem so. They'll be some different guys Paul Spicer might be inactive -- Landry come off the bench last week was pretty well. Grady Jackson or run -- inside so I'm not sure where they get kept pressure on. However if Jacksonville involved -- some significant pressure on Brady with the front four that could cause problems however like I said at the start. The patriots have generally done a great job of protecting Brady and I don't really expect Saturday night --"

Play from 13:15[13:15]" Provided at the patriots have a good answer for number three number war really comes right in line you want to spread Jackson a lot of little that you don't want to try to run against brick wall. I think Jacksonville was pretty solid stopping the run. Goodness of the page is is it really haven't try to run the ball that much earlier anyway so. I think what Tom Brady wanted to do what those receivers get the spread out 345. Wide receiver sets get the ball downfield and make Jacksonville cover I'm not sure they can do that islamists treaty as the times I think if you look at that matchup with Randy Moss. And with Wes Welker and Donte' Stallworth is even Jabar Gaffney at times you know the -- kind of alternated a little bit down the stretch I don't think jags have enough depth. That's secondary to keep up I think Matt this is pretty solid I think Brian Williams is pretty good on the other side I'm not sure we will get Terry cousin out there -- some of the other. Defensive backs Reggie Nelson rookie free safety back there and that's a guy division -- able to exploit. They couldn't stop Pittsburgh when Roethlisberger spread the field in the second half I don't think that flares up from -- I don't know why anybody pays attention to my point number five because it's been so long since I've even been he's close to right. I don't know why anybody would you want to know but. You can tell a world golf with -- game. The patriots have some huge -- I think. And the least of which playoff experience but point number one stuff that Jacksonville run point I don't know what it's number three. Actually protect Tom Brady and -- if you do those two things going to be an easy victory I'll look at the patriots. To get a big lead early -- Jacksonville one dimensional and make arrived -- you I don't think you can. I think he can see a couple of more interceptions like Pittsburgh force last week. 41 to ten I really think this game is going to be daddy's. I just don't see Jacksonville putting enough points on the board to stay competitive that's my team all year. Because patriots offense is special to show how special Saturday. Next week to break down the -- patriots if -- championship until then I'm Paul Perillo."

Play from 15:11[15:11]" He followed up for the best news of the day -- forecasts are seeing for Saturday here's your act a weather forecast."

Play from 15:22[15:22]" Interrogators should be good to go early on game day to get a great pulled -- up -- he. That she'd -- a little bit of cloud the highest -- But later on in the night around game time it chicken pretty -- similar to how like the last time Jack in the box -- Two years -- for the playoffs it was. Reportedly he definitely be prepared for a pretty shouldn't I because the sun goes down cold temperatures in the low of twenty. Kick off is at -- if I'm like gonna be great night for some football on off the field that's an apple weather forecast -- going to Brian Lowe now with the latest lowdown on the patriots."

Play from 16:00[16:00]" Of our -- thank you very much imagine being a member of the patriots or cold draft class of 2003 this is all they know playing football deep into the month of January. In fact the patriots and colts of the only teams that have helped. To reach at least the divisional round of the playoffs every year since 2003 to get Ty Warren it's on its annual Eugene Wilson being -- Dallas Clark and Robert Mathis of the colts. Don't forget -- Klecko would with the patriots for three years and the cold the last okay this is all they know and didn't -- there among the teams playing this weekend in the divisional round and that brings us through this weekend. I think the result of the things that the patriots -- Got right here and the AFC championship game a week from Sunday. I -- I think about patriots jaguars Saturday night the quicker the patriots can get a lead the better for -- sure that obvious that goes without saying but there's no secret to the jaguars -- except they like to watch the ball with Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones drew. If -- that's -- and they can make sure those running back aren't filling that they can foresee the go to our -- to win the game with a bought his hands. I think he has a lot to improve in that category especially in a playoff pressure packed situation sure -- pay all your. But he has only five interceptions all she's all 5 o'clock in the jaguars last five games -- it didn't keep that trend going that in it's ridiculous act now as far as the patriots offense I don't think there's much to worry about some of the jaguars -- big they're physical they've got some good. But especially with a reasonable they have predicted by Christina and others I simply don't -- jaguars offense being including the break -- ground. And make the patriots offense have to worry into the fourth quarter. Then for Indies -- Diego I don't think the colts have anything to worry about especially tight end Antonio Gates isn't healthy is available to be Philip river's main target. Colds are going to roll the chargers I think maybe a golf day at age pop one last week against this team and he came in he was rested their -- they're going to hear against the patriots in the AFC championship game. That's I think what we have all the average with an event here on patriots today let's go back now to --"

Play from 18:07[18:07]" Final more because they -- up right after the us. -- you -- yeah."

Play from 18:26[18:26]" This year give the perfect -- Instant games of the season tickets from the lottery. The cold -- Toyota tundra. The truck that's changing at all."

Play from 18:50[18:50]" Next week we'll have other reaction from Gillette stadium in all the highlights from the patriots jets playoff matchup. That's good for another full week here as patriots make their way through the playoffs from back next week with -- all the latest on your favorite team right here right"
