[5:01]" What role does a player personnel executive play -- call. Relief from the this is my first introduction to a lot of these players but I think most personnel directors and general. They're here observing in evaluating and really your focuses specifically on. The college players so as this player personnel director so you'll have some overlap in the collagen in the professional bowlers while creating those those types of things. So written this week the emphasis is really getting to know what college players as best you can and for my -- you know I'm a little bit -- curve relative to some others but you know. It appears -- given set in yet what that he its positions are in the draft this year. I don't personally from what I've heard though there have been some commentary about the offensive line specifically some office of apples. So long that's one position and it's you know this kind of this come upon continual basis we -- yet so far. As you approach the offseason is there change in your approach when you have such high pitch and the patriots are not an organization that's a constant having such high tech. Does that change the outlook that you have a draft in on the -- all right realistic the last -- where we you're sort of this level -- You know back in 2000 one so. Really you're trying to find you're trying to find football players that can help your team. Whoever that point -- though. That's why just ethical and extra you make you know players the earliest possible because -- obviously it's a big investment especially if that. Now franchise tag -- designations have come and gone that deadline. The start of free agencies coming up is there waiting characterize this week class and general out -- will be yeah I'd say that you know like like every year there's there's some players that are and some positions in my field but the others all obvious that -- deal with guys. That have played 456 years and have played -- certain level so you just have to make sure that. That player whatever you. You're evaluating properly they're they're still playing at that level then you know there's an -- there's so on you know I think. From my perspective even having gotten so late. At least I kind of have a background on some of these players adding value in the past few years so it's been that -- It's good to have you know whether it Columbine create a franchise that coming so quick. After the way this season -- that yeah I think really what you have to do is you sort of have to put last season behind -- I mean obviously there's a lot of excitement. The team enjoyed a lot of success but. Each year is its own separate it its own separate year you know really everybody does things -- stays right now -- to be in their own hero and worth the same stages just about every other team in the league so. You know I think whenever your season and he sort of evaluated take sort inventory of what went on and then you move forward. Because you're really trying to get ready for for the next season really affordable. But it's quite quite a contrast working with a group of five or six players like he does with a wide receivers that now haven't have a sense. Of not only the overall current roster on the team but everyone else in the NFL in the draft. It was a overwhelming form I think this week because. -- so quickly -- the transition -- knowing -- draft -- but I have full -- if you get a -- because -- his background experience in -- what -- the -- most of these coaches -- it's -- I -- these coaches -- in the RCA -- watching the college players -- take -- these -- on -- interviews set -- with every player not every player -- a lot of players -- actually goes -- the player doesn't really know which -- he's about to go sit -- and it's. -- some of his patriots and coaches scout personnel people from each team are reviewing the players. And wanted to -- networking a lot of it is coaches mixing and mingling with. Coaches and -- they've worked with in the past on dealing with their own scouts their own general managers and it's sort of just a time where the entire league. Really does convene in one area and they get a lot done whether it's. Actual business or just to -- we are doing here."
