Then I think you could see where a team could beat the patriots. But again it's got to be a perfect scenario. I've got to tell -- that may welcome wins this thing hands down 13 catches on Saturday night. Phenomenal an absolute phenomenal. Tied his career high reset his career high and receptions and receiving yards. 13 catches 449 yards think about the -- that. Six weeks -- catches for some guys in this league guys who were thought to be better then he has. Is 13 catches tie in the second highest single game total in franchise history. Tied the highest single game total in team annals for a non overtime game. On his 13 catches trail only Troy Brown's record 16 in overtime win over Kansas City back in 2002. Walker is there with two other patriots with 13 catches in the game Deion branch. At 13 at San Diego would go to and Terry Glenn had 13 Cleveland in 99 the 13 grabs topped his previous career best of 11. Which he had a Dallas earlier this year. Bested his previous career high vote receiving yards total 138 Miami earlier this year for -- you want for a 149 on Sunday. He finishes the Philadelphia game now with -- 81 catches for 878 yards this season. That's the highest reception total was -- players and Troy brown at 97 in 2002. The 81 grabs as well the ninth highest single season total in team history. And -- 100 yard receiving game was his third of the season the third of his career. Pretty easy to see here that was Walker's having a career year."

[8:20]" And if he. Is not the kind of guy who can go over the middle and get -- short ones because -- take in the deep up away from moss and for the most part Donte' Stallworth. You know the patriots aren't in trouble. -- sort of the also thought the pass that great job and going to an open guy like Jabar Gaffney earlier in the game when he had plenty of opportunities again. We're always know that beat these guys would get their chances to make plays. When teams finally sort of figured out we not going to let moss or not let stalwart Venus. And the eagles took that -- given credit JR -- a back up back there. He flat out took more out of the game I'm still an opinion with five catches but -- never caught the the ball. On and so was up a Welker on and to a lesser extent Kevin -- of the middle random Benjamin Watson. Pick up the slack which they did. So I did I wondered opened up like my talk little about Welker is quite frankly I just I'm. I think he has had April bulls' season I hope that he gets recognition he deserves it. He deserves it if pars -- could earn as much as Randy moss if not more so I don't know that two patriot receivers are going to make the pro bowl game. -- that would be highly unlikely. And my guess is because he's you know mister long ball is going to like chicks dig at home run moss would get the not even though. Statistically speaking Welker has had at least as good a year. -- as -- not quite as many yards it's certainly more catches and he's certainly means a heck of a lot to his team by being able to get open over the middle. When teams -- giving -- that gap you have to take it. And he was getting open. He's running great routes in and if you never noticed that you just simply have to watch him come all the line of scrimmage. He goes over the middle how low he gives Brady puts the ball where very few receivers can really go get it why. Because he can go get it because you just can't defend it. The only to defend is by smack dab -- into and and committing pass interference. -- because he's a load the ground. He's just hard Japan not to mention hard to tackle hard to bring down just I thought was walker was a huge key to the game obviously the two interceptions that -- head. I know that they are probably many of you who think. And the money to -- but in the money. I don't know that's going to happen I think you probably realize that that may not happen as well I guess things could change between now and the end of the season but I don't know the patriots would have that kind of money slotted for his position. And especially because they've been relatively more healthy in the secondary this year they they feel like that's something that they came and perhaps. -- and if Visanthe commands the big bucks which apparently he's going to. They sort -- seen thus far then they may be content to let him go make his money elsewhere. And I think that would be sort of a that's always been on the you realize the modus operandi of the you know the patriot personnel department. You know they feel like you know the value for the position is worth -- they stick to that value and if the player. He commands more than that value for that particular position is kinda like. No offense we're going to let you go get your money elsewhere. And frankly I don't know how you do. Me or anybody else could have a beef with that if it's worked to this point so far. If potentially now we're looking at a -- Super Bowl champ achievement 70 appear."

[12:12]" How can you argue with the system that they haven't -- so I don't want you to get all bent out of shape of the decide not to pay out and don't. Because it is exactly how this team operate in fact you -- a real upset the real ups that you would be of the -- I signed him and keep it. At a course I think he realized that's only going to happen if somehow someway he takes a hometown discount."

If the patriots win he'll have a couple rings on his fingers you know he's making a good salary -- obviously pitchers a franchise player but you know guys only get a free agency basically if they're lucky wants really. And he should if someone's going to throw money at him he should take it you would I would we all would. He's already got a couple of rings of -- not go take the money and try to win for somebody else. I'm sorry I think on -- gone. I only he'll be around -- this year so let's enjoy him while we have him for the last five week year plus the post season. Because he is going to go down as a player who made. A lot of big plays for the franchise and had a huge hand in potentially winning some Super Bowl here. And like Ty Law he's gone on in in you know made some money somewhere else. And he's still got a prime ahead of him perhaps. Or at least. Certainly some healthy years ahead of him unlike pride to that extent and the patriots. We'll go back into the into the draft they'll go find you know free agents -- the cultivate what they already have on the roster and they'll bring -- the guys up in the let them have the they'll let them go."

So these are all thought that you know the -- will be going through the wringer over the course the next few weeks but you know and with -- two picks -- Is a team leading six on the season now is 22 receptions for his career the 22 interceptions and -- uniform put him tenth on the all time patriots list. I think that was large question in part probably a large reason why he was not signed in the off season. And why there was potential you know seasonal long hold out at least you know -- ten weeks. You know which he'd be just now coming back but that didn't happen with the franchise and he accepted it and he's apparently hit some mom some incentives in his contract which will allow him to be a free agent and the patriots -- not franchise and again you know they certainly at the right to do that so that's that's where Samuels concern on the east put together even if he doesn't have another pick this year that we've seen that he has a quality corner. Calm in their you can probably count on one hand. The number of guys in the NFL who conceivably are better than he is and his position. He anticipates as well as any corner. If his coverage isn't you know lock down coverage. His anticipation is what gives him box in what allowed him to sell his ability to beat a quarterback. In his ability to read -- were route. Is what has enabled him to be as successful as he has been. In the first -- passed like -- that he picked over the that which going to set the tone probably in in retrospect it was the first thing that could've happened of the patriot. Unbelievably shocking story that Sean Taylor's death has. Brought about of the NFL world today because quite frankly the whole thing is just. Not only is it shocking by nature there's a little bit of a cynic in me and police. First of all let me say that yes my prayers and my thoughts go out to the Redskins into Taylor and his young son in his beyond and his family. First and foremost because anybody who has their life taken and apparently in in an armed robbery situation such as this was -- breaking and entering into a shooting him. Deserve the full extent of the law. And obviously. To have -- 24 year old in the in the prime of his athletic life be cut short like that is just a on an unbelievable tragedy. And I can't imagine the sorrow that is -- was going through but. I'm going to mention something here that I'm sure that many of you who know of Shawn Taylor and old some of the problems that he had in his first few years in the NFL. And if you haven't consciously thought about it if you feel like maybe lightning going to strike you better. You know maybe that's not the appropriate thing to think -- because -- in time of sorrow and mourning which really. Where the attention should be but my first initial reaction would be totally honest with you here okay. That is it would no disrespect national. No disrespect anybody but my first reaction was more than he can hang around thugs to begin with. That was my first honest. Reaction whether it's right or wrong it on. And I know that there was a story that's come out since -- shooting yesterday that about a week to ten days ago there was another breaking and entering into his home. And and I kind of gotta find the story here so for giving them you may already know this is well but there was another breaking and entering into his home. And of Manila tonight. And so I'm guessing that that was you know. Obviously some kind of a message that was. Being sent the shooting obvious here here's what is. Last week there was a break in police -- someone pried open -- front window when his home rifled through the doors and left the kitchen knives on a bit. Well I mean you know. That's what happens I guess if you were around those circles apparently he did. You know he did have you know gone in the -- and gun charges earlier in his career. He'd be fired his agent right after he was drafted he skipped the mandatory rookie symposium. Which gave him -- 25000 dollar fine before you were you know put on the uniform in this league he was. Charged with drunken driving. Com he's been fine this for late hits for uniform violations arm -- spit in the face of an opponent he brandished a gun and at a man after a fight over Venus and Dolan what was an ATV's I think it was you know. I mean let's face you you surround yourself with trouble troubles going to follow you wherever you go and I hate to say it but quite frankly. It kind of seems like that's where this is coming from it does not excuse it is still an incredibly devastating loss. You know for his family and for his teammates and for the Redskins. But isn't there a little something new that says this didn't have to happen. You know okay me maybe I'm being couldn cal I I don't think -- I think this is why the NFL. Has the policies that they have against players and their conduct. This is why they come down hard on people and yes make fun of the unifil. For being in the no fun league for striking in oboe players down and finding them for. You know celebrations in and end in uniform violations the stupid things that are out there. But I think you don't if you gotta look at this from a league point of view now. And I'm not try to compare the two but -- say you know if you if you come down on warn you gotta come down on all and I think that this is part of the problem here this is why the you know the NFL realizes that it's a marketing machine. You know they need positive publicity and any time something like this happens it's just -- out now tragedy but. They're trying to help keep their players from getting into the kind of problems that apparently Sean Taylor was involved -- And the sad part about all this is the really sad part is that those were closer to him his teammate. Some team officials. They've basically said that in the last year year and a half and you know he's had a child his daughter. He had matured. That it was shown up on time he was doing things the right way was keeping his nose for the most part out of trouble. That's the sad part he learned maturity. -- it wasn't. Enough to save him. And that's where I really feel that in sorrowful I am all for people getting a second chance I am all for people who. You know admit their mistakes and they want to be forgiven. I'm all for given them another opportunity to turn their lives around you have to that we we must as humans we have the ability to do that unlike animals we can reason. Which most of us can't. And so that's why I'm I'm sad today about Shawn Taylor because here's a young man who's getting that second chance. Was try to turnaround is trying to own up to his responsibilities try to be good father you know who's engaged and married trying to do the best by his teammates he was -- having -- knee injury at at you know he'd missed the last couple weeks with the Redskins. And then this has to happen. I like your thoughts on on the the tragedy of Sean Taylor is well. If you haven't had an idea if forum in which to express your thoughts and your opinions. Even though a different team the Redskins were early on the patriots schedule this year. As we all know -- we've talked about and of course this is an issue that that that affects -- I mean it does it affects us all not only is football fans but effects is always human beings I mean this could happen. Breaking and entering this could happen to anybody. And I guess that's the scariest part of -- So he had not yet have not had a chance to opine about this tragic tragic end.
