To me tells me that maybe Belichick is a little bit concerned about at least. The depth. The guys up front and more you know against. You know of more concern possibly even maybe you know the starters and Matt Light has been out of action for a long time now Indy. Not know what the situation is there with him but he hasn't practiced in the well over a week. Oh I don't know what they expect to be ready to go -- went you know when the games start for real."

[3:03]" Yet and -- and you see whether this is one of those training camp issues that. He a lot of bodies moving around and it makes her a difficult practice in pre season work or if it does linger into the regular season with guys like light. And certainly Neal you'd have to think at some point really start to worry about him being ready for the start of the regular season. -- be interesting but keep an eye on because quite frankly the offensive line did not perform last well last night well in any of the grouping. Com where -- was the first unit with some of those different guys in the second -- all the different variations they struggled a bit I think that actually cut down on the performances by the quarterback by the running backs Laurence -- didn't have a great night I -- there was definite trickle down effect but on the other areas where we can talk about roster spots cornerback a little bit limited. They didn't have a lot of numbers to work -- linebacker than a lot of numbers to work with a lot of the veterans either didn't play your played a few snaps and left. But -- talk about the rookies looking to make the roster in the positive things they did last night against the good news there is it."

[4:02]" Actually you and the you know -- third -- guy started played you know a lot a lot of the game last night really from start to finish. Made plays -- he was noticeable with the starters he was note with a second and it was notebook noticeable on the second half with. With -- third and four guys out there. You know obviously the top of the list for us because we've been really excited about these guys all all camp. Gerard Mayo started game and I'd linebacker really make an impact really showing his speed his coverage abilities. Athleticism was that on display. Terrence Wheatley as you said any not a lot of quarterbacks out there he got a lot of about runs well. Didn't really notice Brett what that good thing for quarterback when you're not really no you know. Ironically -- Fernando and I it was Fernando Bryant did to -- the first drive of the game three straight passes all of them. For first downs I believe they were all you know pretty sizable gains to when he wants odds -- cushion yeah so. Date they would go one -- Bryant and not not Wheatley he he performed well I think the most encouraging thing. An Irish -- you mentioned Shawn Crable as well who came in after kind of you know little quiet I thought during the camp practice. Made a bunch a play so I think that's the number one thing that's a -- last night's game."

[5:15]" We always talk about the positive and the negative here on the roster portal wanted to know -- to cover the spectrum we need to move on a backup quarterback. We're all three guys got to throw the ball Tom Brady was in uniform but did not play. Matt Cassel was obviously the first out of the gate struggle a little bit one for four. Threw an interception on miscommunication with Chad Jackson. On but I didn't think any of the three really distinguish themselves and I really thought the offensive line had on the -- do that but you didn't have any of those guys should look like. Ready to step in and played a regular I think that's exactly go -- put it none of those guys really instill much confidence that. You know -- disaster kind of situation naked and hole before I thought they deal with there was -- match I didn't play."

[6:00]" first mobile when he was out there he was thoroughly ineffective the -- not move at all and he he only threw four passes. They didn't look like they -- at some penalties had you rolled out on a play and let down an act. So things didn't go well at all Gutierrez I think you know at least showed some flashes there was some plays there. But again. Not -- can I think that you will be looking for and it just a really really bad interception late in the first half where he was under pressure. Try to force one they were already well within field goal range probably throw that. He does he need I think better -- throwing the ball away and situations when he needed to do. So that was a negative there as well and you know we're O'Connell I think that's about what you expect -- thought he made some plays shows athleticism. I actually think he looked better in the gain -- looked are on the practice field at dot. He -- enough to throw late in the game that really impressed me one on the sideline array of and thrown out of the hands on where it was really under a lot of pressure. Didn't panicked scrambled out and made a play and the fourth down play to end the game he put right on the numbers. And across the middle CJ Jones unfortunately. It -- up CJ Jones Kasten was picked off so. It didn't end as well as he would've thought but I agree with your overall has been right up top indeed the the backup quarterback situation. Right now is very much influence."

[7:22]" Who were we to say but the general reaction coming -- last night's game seems to be that Matt Cassel. That his timing going and maybe coming to an end but I'm talking about media members in the press box right on down through. People that work here at Gillette Stadium and working various departments on the general reaction is he's gone it's too bad he's a really nice guy but he doesn't look like to play in the NFL. Whether that's true and I'll find out a couple weeks. I would -- tend to side to it that is going to be true and he may nine and making the roster. Tie in there I'm not close the book -- I've closed the book is closed and I shipped back to the library as it was asked do. On and I go to find it. On one side note Chad Pennington is no longer with the New York Jets mentioned. Seemingly up at about where he won now you're not on the field you don't hear the conversations you don't know for sure who's at fault. But when Tom -- involved. It's quarterback -- receiver and a hand gestures about where you're cutting in order or that they expect you to settle down and soft area of his own I'm going to go Tom Brady. And that's happened all summer last night he's running sort of a plant. They don't by the hash mark -- the team and the ball goes behind him he gets picked off. Randy Moss did not play Wes Welker did not play Jabar Gaffney played a little bit and yet didn't have a lot of significant action. On -- Washington did not place Sammy can actually got banged up Soviets and keep an eye on how they tank players -- the roster would probably should meant that they both have had knee injury and neither one of them returned. Didn't get any official word about either one of them but. I kinda got the impression -- that those two injuries might be. Fairly significant. I get that impression too watching television replay on the trainer told. -- Beltran about one of them did not appear happy but that's just me reading on TV that was not do it now after the Tank Williams one on and Matthew Slater one final guy.
